Terra? More like terrably priced. The price was an insult to the customer. Negative value in this one. I ordered the smash burger (add bacon) with fries. It was $27!!!!! Look, I get this is Birmingham, but good grief. This should be the greatest burger ever then. It (shockingly) was extremely average. You can see the photos I posted, but hard yikes on the burger size. Two patties smashed into oblivion. I get wanting to go thin, but the patties were destroyed. Not to mention it seemed like I was eating a 1/4 pounder. Not much meat was on this. The $3 bacon was a slice of bacon cut in half. Absolutely insulting to the customer. The taste was fine. Cheddar really carried the burger. The fries were pretty good, but there were hardly any. Seriously, I was taken aback by how few fries there were. For $27 (before tax), go anywhere else and you'll get way more food that probably tastes way better. I don't envision a second meal from here. Shame. How they are rated the way they are is beyond me. Big yikes.

Really enjoyed my visit to Terra for dinner with my girlfriends. I ordered the Mex bowl but asked them to substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts. Was so happy that they were able to accommodate and the chicken was well prepared very moist and flavorful. Very insta worthy restaurant with a fun busy vibe. Two of my friends ordered the Wagu bowl which they enjoyed but one was missing most of the feta while one had lots. They even brought my friend cheesecake on the house to help celebrate her birthday.

this was my husband and my first time going to this restaurant. We absolutely loved it from the apps to the lunch. Everything was very refreshing and different! we've loved the service inside as well as the ambience. We decided to bring one of our guests this coming Friday! will be back.!

We've been to Terra about 4 times and every time the food is great and the cocktails are fantastic. It can be tough to get into so make sure to book a reservation. Worth a try if you haven't before

We came for cocktails so we sat at the bar. It was a Sunday evening and there was a nice crowd. We sat at the bar. It took over 20 minutes to order a drink, and when it came, it left a lot to be desired. The space is nice with plenty of TVs around. The menu looked interesting but not sure if I want to go back.

I came here with a friend recently. I have a lot of thoughts so I'll list them: Ambiance: (3/5) - nice overall - looked very high class - WAYYYY TOOO MANY SCREENS - music did not match the vibe Service: (4/5) - host was nice - waitress was nice - nothing exceptional, nothing bad Food: (4.5/5) - Balkan bread was so good! - fatoush salad overpriced for an "experience" - chicken was a little dry but flavor was good - they had Coke products!!!! - fries and garlic sauce were very good This place could be EXCEPTIONAL, but they're not really there yet.

Great experience overall. Our waiter, Tony, was amazing. He was super helpful, sweet, and funny, which made the night even better. The food was very good; we especially loved the salads and the drinks. The restaurant has a really nice vibe and ambiance. And the dessert cronuts... absolutely amazing.

Have been meaning to try this place for a while and recently made it out for a wonderful evening! We were looking to share a few items among us girls, and our waitress recommended the fattoush and spicy kani krab crispy rice. These definitely lived up to the hype - presentation alone for the fattoush was so fun! It came in a giant hollowed out pita and a little mallet to break into it, the table next to us ordered it after seeing ours. We also indulged in the house Balkan bread and it was incredible. For mains we split the crispy chicken tomato rigatoni and steak frites. The portions were large and at this point we were filling up but all the food was delicious. We had to save room for the pistachio crème brûlée - this incredible dessert was the perfect end to the evening! The space is huge and was very packed on a cold weeknight. The only con is our table near the windows were quite cold and we ended up needing to keep our coats on most of the evening.

I like the ambience, it lis ocated in prime location, got few options for vegetarian. I ordered terra hummus with pita bread and harvest salad. Hummus was serverd with some topic of onion n cucumber with pesto, gave good tinch. Harvest salad was good however baked peach peice was missing. Overall good ambience and feel, i might go again to try mushroom pasta

Finally made it to Terra last night and baaaaabbbbyyy let me tell you... it did NOT disappoint The vibes? Immaculate. The staff? On point. The food + drinks? Fire!!!!! We started with the Caesar salad + fries and honestly... 10/10, no notes. Do yourself a favor and grab their featured cocktail, The Golden Core, before it disappears off the menu-- trust me if you like bourbon, you won't be disappointed. I also had the Sailor Moon (super popular for a reason). Refreshing, tasty, and another easy 10/10. And yes, I mixed tequila and bourbon in the same night... because balance lol. Ended the night with an Old Fashioned like the classy mess I am For the main, I went with the new Chicken Velouté--chef's kiss, another 10/10. I'm already plotting my return because there are way too many cocktails + dishes I still need to try.

(3/5) Terra has a stylish space and the service was warm and attentive, which I really appreciated. The food itself was solid -- the pesto pasta with pine nuts was flavorful and comforting, and the small plates (like the fritters) were nicely presented. Dessert looked beautiful too, especially the rich chocolate cake. That said, the vibe wasn't really my cup of tea. The TVs playing throughout the restaurant took away from the otherwise cozy atmosphere I was hoping for. If you don't mind having screens on while dining, you may enjoy the ambiance more than I did.

Enjoyed my visit to Terra. We came in without a reservation but we were able to get sitted at the bar. Restaurant space is modern, open and has a good vibe. Tried their fattouche salad. It comes inside ballooned out pita shell with a millet on the side. So you get to break pita shell into the salad in the process. Cute touch! Also beef wellington bites were delicious! Enough to share. Will need to come back to try dessert.

What a beautiful place!!! We stopped in to try the famous Terra Burger, winner of the Birmingham Burger Week. It was delicious! We ended up splitting it because it is BIG burger. On a side note, the fries and seasoning are fantastic. They have a great happy hour menu, too. We will most certainly be back to try out other options on the menu. Don't sleep on Terra Kitchen it's a top tier restaurant contender.

The restaurant vibes were really nice. We were seated at a booth next to the window where you can see into the back kitchen. Our server was super nice and brought out bread for us. We ordered a spicy margarita and the lychee guava martini. The margarita was way too spicy for me but my friend tolerated it. I loved the martini!! It was so good I actually ended up having 3 of them. We originally planned on entrees but ended up just ordering all kinds of apps and got full off of those. It was really satisfying and we had fun trying all the different things they had. I don't think there was anything we didn't like. We got oysters, beef carpaccio, whipped ricotta, and beef tips. Towards the end of our meal the DJ started setting up and the restaurant was rearranging the furniture to make room. We were told our booth was sold but were welcome to continue in another booth until anything changes. The atmosphere transitioned really smoothly and we enjoyed ourselves. It was fun mingling and dancing and ended up staying until close. I would definitely come here again!

I ordered the steak frites and I imagine that the steak would have been great if prepared to medium or medium well. However it was medium well to well done. I was here for a work dinner so I wasn't going to make a scene in front of a business partner. But it was disappointing. I'm sure the staff would have been responsive if I complained that my medium order was grey in the middle. The presentation was great but you'll see in the second picture it was overcooked
