Caveat: I have only had pizza from Fat Tomato Pizza via delivery. I recently ordered a pizza from Fat Tomato, and it was not good ... not good at all. I would normally chalk it up to the delay from delivery, but I live nearby so there wasn't much of a delay. Food: I ordered their Rolling Hills Special Pizza which has sun-dried tomato, goat cheese, garlic, and arugula on top. To begin, the crust was disappointing. The undercarriage (that is, the bottom of the crust) was pale in color without any char. It also had a lot of flop, drooping significantly. More disappointing was the layer of congealed, rubbery cheese on top. There was way too much goat cheese, which was overpowering. I ended up trashing more than half the pizza. Bottom Line: Not good. I want to give Fat Tomato another try, but I have a hard time justifying it. read more

I keep forgetting this place is here! I also keep forgetting to write a well deserved review! We've ordered pizza from Fat Tomato a few times now and really enjoy it. Yesterday, our friends Doordashed 3 pizzas, 2 caesar salads and an order of garlic knots. I had a couple of slices of the Hawaiian za, some caesar salad and a knot and really enjoyed them. I'm a pizza snob and I really like their nice, chewy and flavorful crust. Toppings were great too. My daughter also loves their margarita pizza. Highly recommend. read more

Yum! Yum! The parking lot was very busy but not surprised since it's the last weekend before Christmas. The gentleman that was working was nice and said I could order in the kiosk. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and 6 garlic knots. The pizza was greasy but it was really good. The knots are hands down the best knots I've ever had and the sauce that comes with the knots are like a warm marinara I added some Parmesan in it and it was good! Started off weird because only half of our pizza had toppings on it. That was EXTREMELY ODD. was this a joke ??? Did we just get pranked ?? They're lucky the pizza was extremely good. The garlic knots were swimming in garlic and Parmesan just the way we like and the Alfredo was saucier than a pot of sauce floating in sauce covered in saucy sauce. The pizza here is really good, it comes with thin crust, which I prefer. The buffalo wings were decent, we asked for them to be extra crispy but the skin was still squishy and we don't do well with texture like that. The service is good. It's a small pizza shop, only about 3 or 4 bar seats. There are a couple of tables outside though. Plenty of parking being in a shopping center. read more

In terms of the pizza, it was delicious and my kids loved it. The staff were really nice although we ordered off a screen. With that being said, In my opinion the pizza was slightly overpriced, but it was tasty, and everything is slightly overpriced these days. It's my favorite type of pizza but sometimes it can have a bit of an overpowering taste where all I can taste is the basil This pizza was absolutely perfect. And I ate it cold. When it came out it was cooked perfectly and hot. But by the time I got home it was cold and decided to try a piece anyways. I literally couldn't stop eating it and didn't even bother with heating it up. It had an amazing classic taste. Simple and perfect with a hint of garlic. The ratio of cheese, sauce and tomato was absolutely amazing. They had a few pizzas on their menu that I'm dying to try. Ordered a half margherita half truffle mushroom pizza, half fat tomato works half pepperoni pizza, and a curry udon to go. The truffle mushroom pizza smelled really good and also tasted delicious. I liked that there were a good amount of mushrooms in every bite. The truffle flavor was not very prominent which I actually prefer because I can taste the mushrooms. I don't like it when all I can taste and smell is truffle in a dish. The margherita was really good as well but I suggest eating this before eating the truffle mushroom because the margherita has a more simple flavor profile by design so it almost tasted lacking when I ate it right after the truffle mushroom. The pizza crust had a bit of chew to it but was not tough. I didn't leave any crust behind. I didn't try the works and pepperoni but the works smelled really good and had a good amount of toppings and the others enjoyed them as well. The curry udon was just udon plus some Japanese curry sauce. It's not soupy curry but literally the regular curry sauce you'd get with curry rice. I added some water to thin out the sauce for my daughter and she finished the entire bowl of udon even after some initial complaining. The menu for this place encompasses a lot of seemingly unrelated food, but at least they do the pizza well. They carry boba ie. Thai tea & green/black tea, but it's just 2/3stars imo. & of course soft drinks in cans. 2. The only pizza we get is the XL Fat Tomato Works Pizza (Signature). It comes with everything: sausages, larger pepperoni slices, mushrooms, & bell peppers. The sausage is what makes this pizza. I was pretty disappointed to be honest. I've tried other fat tomatoes and had a bad experience so I wanted to give it another try but at different location. First there was only one person working. I walk in and was not greeted. I was told to use a computer to place my order. And he walked away. I had no help and there was no customer service. At the end it asked me to tip. Tip for what? Taking my own order?? The pizza taste was about a 3/10. Very bland and was burnt. If you look at my pictures you can see all the black spots. On top of that, it was $16 for a plain large cheese. It cost me an additional $7.50 for olives and basil on the whole thing and pepperoni on half. Please tell me by the pictures that I got $7.50 worth of toppings? I love treating myself and son to lunches but I left feeling like it was a huge waste of money and I regret using my money there. Lesson learned. No matter the location. They suck. I usually don't give food in PV much thought but Fat Tomato Pizza was a pleasant surprise. I was feeling pizza and happened upon this place and surprise surprise, they do good pizza. Perhaps what's even better is they offer a half and half option so instead of ordering 2 medium pizzas that you can't finish, you can order 1 large half and half pizza that you still can't finish. I went with a popeye's white pizza and hawaiian pizza and well, what can I say? They're hefty slices of pure deliciousness. I love a good white sauce pizza which popeye perfectly delivers on and I love a good hawaiian pizza (save the debate for another review) no matter what. So there we go, good pizza, plain and simple. I came to the store to purchase a pizza and asked the employee to help me order. I wanted 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese. It cost $21.00 of a large. We came back 15 mins to pick up the pizza and it took us 5mins to get home and when we opened the pizza box the pizza was cold. That tells me the pizza was not made fresh. I might have just gotten an order already made and canceled. It was so bad that, not our 7 yrs grand daughter ate one slice and said she did not want it. I tried to calling the store and it has a recording and I would have to leave a message. So that means, when the pizza company did not make your food correct, their is no recourse. With kids and always running around with pick up and drop off it's really important to be on time and they are! Extra Cheese pizza: 10/10 -thin, super cheesy and the perfect amount of sauce. So good! Cauliflower crust pizza: 8/10veggie 9.5/10extra cheese -it's pretty darn good. I prefer it with just cheese, when I got it last time with veggies it was a little "soupy". The pizza is fairly big, but still pricey in my opinion. The hawaiian was pretty standard but the popeye kept dripping with oil which needless to say was unpleasant.
