Jammy Eggs -- Egg yolks were cooked to perfect consistency and I loved their take on an Asian-fusion style dish with their furikake seasoning, which also gave slight crunchy texture alongside their creamy sauce that gave a hint of spiciness. 4. Szalay's Sweet Corn -- The mix of the cacio e pepe and miso aioli worked really well as the sauce for the sweet corn and gave it a creamy and savory flavor with every bite! All the cocktails we tried were very special and delicious! Their ingredients list includes unique combinations that pleasantly work for the drink. My favorite drink was "Never Too Much" and I don't even like Hennessy like that haha -- it was such a refreshing drink and the peach and lemon flavors truly was perfect for the fall season. So we sat right at the window along the river with a very nice view. Quickly thereafter a bubbley, smiling face arrived by the name of Sara. She brought us our water and took our drink orders and away she bounced... marvelous. Shortly after, she returned with our drinks. She very effectively answered our questions and we placed our orders. We were both not too hungry so we stayed with the starters menu. We shared an order of the "Heavenly Biscuits" and I added the "Marinated Olives". Then we both had a bowl of the "Lobster Bisque". Everything showed up in a timely fashion and in proper order. All of it was excellent. I must say, the bisque was exceptionally meaty. A pleasant surprise. As we were finishing up I mentioned I was looking forward to coffee. When Sara arrived I told her we would both like a cup as soon as we were done. With a big smile she said I heard you talking about it and already started a fresh pot for you. I was amazed... such a simple thing, but an example of extraordinary service. My compliments to Sara and the Lakehouse for employing her.
