Terrible's live up to its name! I visited the 10890 W Charleston location for an automatic car wash. During the pre-wash stage, the attendant brushing the windshield caused a loud thud on the windshield. We immediately exchanged shock looks but before I could do anything, my car entered the washing machine. Upon exiting the wash, there was a crack on my windshield. I promptly reported this to the office, but my claim was summarily denied. They said there was an existing chip (there was none!) on the glass combined with the heat of the windshield and cold water from the wash, and it cracked. Terrible's is unwilling to take responsibility for their employee's negligence. They will always blame it on the heat! read more

Location: Sahara and Jones Price: $21.99 (but they offer discounts just ask) This is perfect for me...I only use Chevron or Shell gas for my car....(unless I'm on "Elvis and don't want to "Fred Flintstone" it...) It's open on a Sunday and i was able to get my car in and detailed. they were pretty busy , but the staff was nice and helpful. The good thing was that we were able to wait in the gas station as the waiting area is in there. Thank goodness for that as it was hot outside. there was also TVs and a place where you can charge your phones etc. other than that, it was cool. nothing major that stoodout for me to give it more stars. read more

I used to stop by on my way to work for coffee and few snacks few times a week. I stopped going because of a rude encounter I had with the Manager. She verbally threatened to call Metro after I placed the items down on the counter, stating 'hold on.. lemme go get some change out of my car. She assumed I walked off with the items I guess.. I had few more rude encounters after that where I would walk in the store, say HELLO and get ignored by the Manager. Woooow! Recently I stopped by to get some coffee and to say HELLO to Sharon (elderly lady). She is very friendly and we usually chit chat when there are no other customers in line. Sharon works in the mornings so I only stop by when she's working. :) read more

I originally started going to this location for oil changes because it's convenient on my way home from work. Now I go there for how thorough, and pleasant they are. As well as the fact that they get you in pretty quick and the waiting room isn't bad. The price is good considering you get a free car wash every time. The car wash portion is good too. They do a nice job! They also give you a free air freshener and a cloth cleaning the inside of your car. I highly recommend them. read more

Do not use there car wash. I bought the top wash which was $15. The guy working the window was not friendly. When I pulled around to the wash. I was thinking to myself $15 for such a short bay with no business. I hope I didn't screw myself. The pre scrub attendant had to be in his late 50's because he took his time scrubbing down my car. Finally when my car was moving into the wash. There were not enough wrap around Brushes or mitter curtains to get all the soap off my car. They only have 1 mitter curtain , 2 large wrap around brushes and 2 tire wrap around brushes. Yes I know my car wash stuff, give me a break. Anyway back to the review. By the time my car got to the last tire brush, there was no Tri-Foam and more soap. Then it was rain-x and rinse. Let me just tell you. I still had soap on my car after the rinse, I'm not telling you only little bit of soap. I'm talking lots of soap. The dryer part just move the soap into a different place. Once I got the green light to leave the wash. I pulled back around to talk to the attendant and when he saw my car with the soap, he said well I can't help you call corporate. I asked to speak to the manger and he said there's no manger on duty till Next week have a great day sir. Have a great day? Really? Do not come to this location unless you want soap left on your car. You have been warn. I had to pay another $15 at my favorite new car wash on Blue Diamond called Quicky's Express. Never again Terrible Herbst. read more

The car wash sucks. They have a new policy of nothing in the truck bed. I had a single 2x12 the manager ran out to tell me they will not accept ANYTHING in the truck bed. I can understand not wanting a bed full of tools and garbage. This is a lame policy. I will be going to business with their competitors down the street. read more

Last time I came in they said. I needed a new belt, that ended up adding on almost $100 to the oil change. They also said I needed to change my air filter but I didn't.... this time they said the (unchanged) air filter looks good and the serpentine belt looks pretty good(I mentioned this time that all I wanted was an oil change, not a belt replacement like last time) . I'm happy with the honesty this time, sad about the (indicated mandatory) upsales last time. Quick service, nice people. read more

Rude car wash cashier attendant. $8 was their cheapest exterior car wash option. Not worth it. It's just a short ride thru their automated car wash and not enough time going thru the dryer at the end. Cashier needs a serious attitude check. read more
