Got to say, providers & receptionist are more knowledgeable & on top of things than when I had Healthnet. However, this place claims walk-ins are welcome but will close long before said closing time. This was why I'd rather have an appt. I had to drive back 3x from Monterey Park just for a simple TB test & found their gates locked. The receptionist said they've a 2-hr lunch break & stop having providers & walk-ins at 3:30pm. Must be nice! I came around 2:30pm & they were still closed. The most weird hours I've ever experienced & am slowly developing trust issues with doctor's office & might as well test positive for everything if I can even get a test. I'd have let it slide if I didn't need it for work. Since I switched from Healthnet to LA Care, Dr. Terry Lee has been my primary doc. When they switched from the Francisquito location to Ramona, they failed to notify me when I set the appt & didn't offer an apology. In these cases, it's better to pay the big bucks & get your tests done than dealing with these experiences. Doctors offices are supposed to be open at reasonable hours & something you can count on. I am not happy with the treatment I got from this office. Seems like always new girls running around. Act very unprofessional. I stopped by to check why my prescription at Wal-Mart had not been approved to be filled. The young girl that helped me, was just interested in treating me like a bad child that had done something wrong, talking down to me. Said I was due for a physical and that I hadn't been there in over a year. I told her that if that was the problem all they had to do was call me and tell me and I would go in and do what I needed. She wanted to give me an appointment and I told her that would not work, so I asked for 2 weeks down the road. Then I asked if then my prescription would be approve. Again she got all snotty and said, NO, I tried giving you an earlier appointment and you didn't want it. I told her I don't really like to make a lot of in office visits because my co-pay is $65 each time. By then I had had enough of her talking down to me. Then I get a text message saying that their system had a glitch and all I need is to get blood work, to go by and pick up the referral, and that my refill was sent approved. NO APOLOGY at all for her actions, of the treatment I got. I don't have time to go back and forth because they don't do their work right. This is no way of treating people, ALL crappy!!! Was given a prescription to maintain my existing medication and was not told its a a one time refill and that I would need to setup an additional appointment to get a full 1 year prescription. Been taking my mother here for years. The previous Dr retired. My mother has Altamed hmo so she doesn't get the care she actually needs. Plus making an appointment is horrible. Then after months of waiting for a referral to a specialist the staff refered an md who wasnt accepting new patients. So my poor mother has to live woth her pain even longer. I believe the new MD hasn't even seen her. It's always been a nurse practioner, not saying nurse practioners are bad, but my mom's care has been subpar. Looking for to open enrollment period to switch. Counting the days to go back to regular medicare. Not cool what's happening there. read more

I don't have an issue with the doctor but have an issue with the staff there. The woman are rude and unprofessional! They give different information ! They want to charge to fill out school paper work and then take their time with it even though it's needed in order for my child to start school tomorrow. This place has really upgraded over the years fabulously. Now there are two televisions in the waiting area, and the seats have been changed. The bathroom went through a major remodeling session as well. The doctor is a hilarious and knowledgeable physician, and the nurse practitioner is extremely personable and cheery. They are both experts in the field. The other staff at the office are all friendly and easy to talk to. They are always very helpful with any inquiries I might have. The office does get quite packed during working hours, so now there is a set time for walk-in hours. The staff accommodates the walk-ins, but expect to wait one to two hours on a busy morning or afternoon. I would call beforehand if you have any questions, or just to double check the hours of the office. Overall, I've always enjoyed my visits to this office! read more

I've been going for the same issues to this doctor(lee)for the last couple of years.And still don't have a proper diagnosis.I have swollen lymph nodes on my neck and possibly a UTI.(NoDiseases)A year ago he prescribed me some Antibiotics which did nothing.I went back to him,this month with exactly the same issues.He prescribed me the same antibiotics and referred me to a surgeon.To test for cancer.I noticed that my blood work and urine analysis,where from over a year ago.I called the office asking if I can speak to my doctor:/to request current blood work and urine analysis so I could have it ready for the surgeon.The office told me,I have to go back in and see him to ask for my request.I told them it was the same issue and I just wanted to get current testing done.I also asked to speak to my doctor doctor(Lee).Their reply was and I qoute,the doctor said he will never call you.You need to come in.This doctor obviously does not care about patients and only for insurance money.I do not recommend anybody to go here. Lee is hardly ever in his office usually it's a PA. She Doesn't know much at all,and is always in a rush. Dr. Lee has been my primary physician since 2014 and I couldn't be happier. He is a great family Dr. Who is down to earth, has a great sense of humour, and is very straightforward. He's a busy man so he gets right down to business. No beating around the bush. He is Very knowledgeable and always answers all of my questions and concerns. His office staff is great too. They are polite, professional, caring, and very helpful. There is Hardly any wait time for walk ins. Ive never had to wait longer than 30 minutes. This is a great place to go to stay alive! Waiting 1-2 hours for any doctor's office without an appointment is pretty much a standard waiting time for all doctors' offices. I waited 6 hours once at some other place. Why you complaining? The staff always tries to squeeze walk-ins between appointment people, but they can only compensate so many walk-ins at once. Also don't assume that everyone else is a walk-in like you, and that you have priority (talking to you, lady who didn't have an appointment). Dafuq. Also for the girl who was complaining about doctors, you do know that many clinics only have one doctor?? Because it's their own clinic and not owned by a medical group? And sometimes these doctors go on something called a "vacation." Dafuq. The facility is clean and cozy. The staff pretty much talks to you with a smile, and makes you feel welcomed. I don't mind getting the doctor or the NP, they both have a good amount of schooling and experience to make the decisions they make. The girl complaining about getting an NP, was the NP trying to kill you? Dafuq. Please, don't complain about such trivial things. Only trivial people complain about trivial things. The staff here are really nice, and the doctor here is a funny guy. He'll tell you straight up that you need to lose some weight (for the sake of your health). Don't take it personally. America is obese. His nurse practitioner is good too. Office hours can vary so I suggest you calling in beforehand to confirm their walk-in times if you do not have an appointment. I've heard from other customers that appointments for physical exams can get booked pretty quickly, and sometimes there's no space available until a month out (for physicals). You don't need an appointment if you're sick, though you do need to adhere to the walk-in hours. Without an appointment, the wait is brutal. But it's worth it. The place also looks totally different, and the bathroom has been completely remodeled. read more

Omg! After being in so many clinics in Baldwin Park with an awful customer and patient care service I found this clinic! Everything is good about this place. If you're a private patient do not hesitate to come here! I was treated by two girls undergoing training and even though they were in training they were just the best!! Front office super nice and chill, doing what they are getting paid for and doing it right! I'm actually glad and thankful there are still professionals out there as myself. So, I went to BPMC to have my baby do the vaccination. I called dr office to make appointment. Since my baby's insurance was just effective and the doctor did not accept new patients, the front desk Florence really helped us to call insurance company to change the family doctor to Terry Lee. The office is quite, well organized. Nurses are sweet, especially when they saw my baby :) The average waiting time from sign in to check up is around 20 mins, which is not so long. Dr Lee was kind n nice, she checked everything in detail, and gave us some suggestions that how to feed baby well. There are actually two nurses helped to made the vaccination. They kept talking to baby, moved baby gently, made baby less nervous. When my baby was crying when doing the shot, they kept saying I am sorry baby, that's ok. Even I was almost heartbreak when I heard my baby's screaming, but their service made me feel comfortable. read more

I've gone to Dr. Lee 3 different times for the same problem. I've probably only seen him for a total of 10 min because he usually has a nurse or an intern do my check up instead of himself. All three times he recommends more pain killers and the most recent time I went he laughed at my concern for my continuing back pain. Very rude, very unprofessional, very inattentive. Very accessible, accept any insurance, and caring staff. Not perfect but deliver essential things patients need. Reminder this is a clinic more for a healthy visit like vaccination and you need a primary doctor referral to see a specialist. They are not ER or Urgent Care. Some people due to ignorance complaint here without understanding the difference of PMD, Urgent Care, and ED. I am an ER Nurse and I have no problem being seen by an NP unless if you have a serious chronic health problem. Rarely you can find a doctor staying in just one small clinic waiting for anyone to come anytime of the day. They have other clinics and hospital visit to attend to. That's the reality. And $15 copay is nothing. I will be irritated too to be asked with such stupid question. These people invested thousands $$$ and buried their head studying to be where they are. The nurse are condescending when you ask then why they charge $15deductable for a physical visit when last time they said no charge, one of them answered "other offices doesnt take deposit that's why they're stuck with no payment" in a nasty tone. Bad idea for anyone who cares about living! Do not risk anything here. I had a household glass cut forearm injury, and had no splint issued by the doctor thus resulting in possible permanent damage in my arm and hand. This required 15 weeks of unnecessary physical/occupational therapy because of lack of proper judgement/care by Dr. Lee. So much time and money was lost thanks to this toilet facility. This Clinic is located in the same Plaza as the gas station and Dollar Tree. I've been coming here for years. Staff is friendly and informative. Despite the fact that I moved to Orange County I still make a drive just to come out here to see the providers I've been accustomed to. I have PPO so I have the option to go basically anywhere. However despite my endless options I still come back here. Even if you go to these high-end doctors in either OC or LA it doesn't mean you are going to receive the best quality service. It's hard to find a place you can actually trust this is a privately owned clinic not a large establishment so I'm happy they remember me by my name and not just my patient id #. The providers here is not only a doctor so be open-minded when it comes to being seen by a nurse practitioner. Nurse practitioners are just as qualified to write a prescription and diagnose you so quit being picky and learn to appreciate your highly qualified provider! All in all this place is a great facility to bring your entire family to. I am satisfied with all of the services rendered and I have nothing negative to say about this place. read more

I've been with Dr. Lee and the Nurse Practitioner Edielyn Quijano for almost 3 years now and just don't have time to set up an account to give reviews to them. It really hurts me when I see people commenting bad reviews on them because for my experience with them they've been very nice, kind and understanding to all my needs. Dr. Lee is a very straight-up person that he tells you what's wrong and what needed to be done, that makes some patient get offended because they don't want to know the truth about their health but Dr. Lee is like that because he wants you to really get serious about your health which I think makes him a better doctor than other who will not even bother to give you any clue on what's the standing of your health right now and just give you an answer of "You're Okey" kinda thing and show no concern about you at all. They explained my lab results very thoroughly and clearly. Employees there are really nice, friendly and helpful with me. The waiting time is the best with this doctor coz in all the doctors I've been, this clinic is the fastest waiting time I have ever been. When I try to walk in because my daughter is sick the longest I have been waiting is 20 minutes which for me that is already super fast rather waiting in the Emergency Room which takes about 4-6 hours just to get your temperature. So overall for me I really highly recommend this Doctor for the whole family. read more

I recently got insurance with united healthcare, they referred me to this clinic. I went in for a physical, I was not seen my the doctor but by the nurse practitioner Edielyn L Quijano. Before being seen by the NP, a nurse checked my blood pressure and my heart, she was kind and professional(didn't catch her name). However when the NP came in she checked me really fast it seemed like something out of a comedy sketch, she checked my ears and then my nose with the same tool then quickly my heart then she told me to stand up and touch my toes and she spun me around to check my spine all within a minute. She then asked if I had any questions while basically inching towards the door. This was not a comprehensive check up. I think it's strange that people review this clinic by the looks of it or the accommodations or the front staff, I don't care about that. I want to be seen by a doctor or np who at least act like they care. I feel like she lost her passion for this job a long time ago. Next time I come I will be sure to ask that the doctor see me and I'll see if he's worth staying at this clinic, if not I will not be returning. read more
