Better yet if you're going to buy a Toyota go to Edmark. I'm genuinely so sad to be leaving a bad review for this dealership. Our salesman (who has since retired) was great to work with. My disappointment started when I was told the car would be cleaned before the sale was finished, when we got the keys and started moving cars I noticed the car either hadn't been cleaned or who ever does the cleaning for them absolutely sucks. After a few weeks of having the car we drove it up to McCall area for the first time. Coming down the hill the car began to violently shutter when the breaks were being applied. So much so it scared me and my kids, we immediately schedule for the car to be taken into the service department. We were told that the rotors were so warped they could not be fix and we needed a full replacement of the rotors and pads. When we explained to the service department we had just purchased the car they referred us to the sales department. My husband did a majority of the talking with them, he explained the situation and hoped the sales manager would have some constructive advice or be helpful in some way. Boy was he wrong. Aaron the sales manager sent an email to my husband suggesting that WE had damaged the rotors to this extend and that the rotors were fine when we purchased the car. I went down to speak with Aaron and he said the same thing, I even asked "are you suggesting the rotors were fine when we purchased the car?" he said yes. He informed me they just go off what the service department says and sent me that way. The "service" department is nothing far from a joke. They gave me the run around and suggested that because he waved the diagnostic fee "since you just got the car" that he was doing me a favor. I fully understand the rotors being warped can't be visually seen but to suggest I did this to the car in less than 30 days and 1,000 miles was absolutely rude. Then he follows it up with offering me a free car wash... I learned 30 days ago they can't wash cars so why the hell would I bring my car back here?! Especially after the insulted me saying I did this damage. Honestly I've heard things about the service department here before but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt... don't do that! Based on this interaction I'm not even convinced the rotors were that bad and now I'll be stuck wondering if I had taken them to a reputable place would they have reshaped them?

Avoid Larry H. Miller Subaru in Boise. They promised me a…read morespecific loan and deal over the phone -- so much so that I bought a last‑minute plane ticket from California to Idaho to sign in person. After my daughter and I spent five hours at the dealership, they suddenly claimed the deal wasn't available and tried to push a much more expensive loan instead. A classic bait‑and‑switch. We walked out and bought a new Hyundai Tucson the next day at a fair rate with no hassle. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

I had a very disappointing experience with Subaru of Boise…read more I emailed inquiring about a 2026 Subaru Forester listed at MSRP of $41,500, explaining that I was interested in one vehicle now and another in about a year and a half for my other child, to keep things fair. I was upfront, serious about buying, and simply asked whether there was any flexibility on price. The sales representative, Noah, immediately seemed put off that I even asked about a discount. He offered to show "invoice pricing," and when I pointed out--accurately--that dealership invoice pricing does not reflect the dealership's true end cost, the conversation went downhill. I requested that he speak with his GM or sales manager to see if anything could be done. After some back-and-forth, instead of continuing a normal negotiation, I was told that Subaru of Boise would not do business with me at all. I am just a customer asking questions and trying to make a large purchase (actually two). As a result of this interaction, Subaru of Boise has now lost the potential of approximately $83,000 in sales across two vehicles. Being shut down completely for attempting to negotiate was unprofessional and unnecessary. If Subaru of Boise is only interested in customers who don't ask questions or discuss pricing, that should be made clear upfront. Unfortunately, this experience ensured I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
