2010 Mercedes GL350 engine would stop after 5 seconds. My BMW mechanic referred me to Sherif and said, "He has the right equipment to diagnose the problem and he's Mercedes-Benz trained and certified from Germany!" The car was towed from my mechanic to Sherif. The tow truck driver asked, "Are we towing it the Mercedes -Benz mechanic on La Brea and Centinela, because that guy is really good with these cars! The customers always give us good reports about that shop!" Upon meeting Sherif, he asked me to bring him the other original fob key even if they're not working. (I had 3 fob keys; 2 had stopped working after going through the washer/dryer by accident and the dealer charged $200 per fob.) That afternoon, he diagnosed the issue -- fuse box and struts had to be replaced. I gave him the greenlight and it was ready the next afternoon, along with the fob keys working again! He gave me a deal! Here's another important part of my experience: When I mentioned I will bring my BMW to him for service, he responded with, "No, I do not want to take away business from your mechanic." I've had my 07 Mercedes SLK for about six months and it has been having occasional shifting issues since I got it. Recently my usually method of resolving it didn't work and it was stuck in first gear. My friend told me his uncle takes his cars to Quest Automotive and they would know how to work with my car. After bringing mine into their shop, Sheriff gave me a few options for possible causes in the code. I decided to get the speed sensor replaced with transmission service - it was done in a couple days and about a week later my car is still running very well with no more shirting problems. Where do I begin? My Mercedes had a cracked rim and dented bumper so I decided to explore other options due to dealers quoting me almost 2,000 for a rim. I found quest automotive and spoke to Sherif. In my case, I own a 2008 Audi TT - it's the first and only car I've ever owned, and it's very important to me. Unlike most folks who want to trade and upgrade their car every couple of years, my goal is to keep the TT in the best possible condition (because I firmly believe the design is a classic that will eventually start gaining in value in a decade or two). Fortunately, I discovered Sherif and his team at Quest, and they've truly gone out of their way to help me care for and occasionally repair my vehicle. While the location and surrounding area is pretty rough (like many spots on Lincoln), don't let the looks fool you - these guys know cars and even more so, they know great customer service. AMAZING. Not realizing their hours, I came in a few nights ago driving with a busted side mirror just 10 minutes after closing time for Quest. I saw that they were already in their cars and ready to head out for the day and I also didn't want to keep them past after hours either but even then, to my surprise, they asked me how they can help. Sherif and his team were so so nice and friendly in their approach and had ever-so-kindly offered to help replace my broken side mirror, after talking to them. And within minutes, they installed my new side mirror (for an incredible rate!- so much better than all the other shops). Then, as I was just about ready to go, they had noticed my tail light was also out. I admit, that was also on my radar to get fixed too since it was out for a month now, but I expected it to be costly so naturally put it off. They chuckled as they reassured me it was as easy as screwing in a light bulb and completely replaced that for free for me. I also had what looked like a bad scratch on the back of my car and they got some solvent or solution stuff and wiped it clean for me and to be honest, my car looks so amazing now. I was probably at the shop for less than 30 minutes and couldn't have left more happy or impressed with the level of service I received from Sherif and the rest of the Quest team. A friend/coworker recommended I take my car to Quest to diagnose my car (check engine light). It wasn't an issue when we gave Sherif a call at Quest Automotive and he told me to bring it by whenever I could and he would take a look at it. I am always skeptical about mechanics, but when I met Sherif on a random road as he walked past me when I was trying to fix my wife's car (and having major problems) he stopped next to me and said if I needed help... I said well this alternator is not fitting into where it's meant to go... and it was making me really annoyed as it was not working and he said "move over let me see" he then told me that I had ordered the wrong part.
