The service department at this location does not have adequate training. My Tesla Y has a problem in that it randomly decides to stop in the middle of the highway for no apparent reason - while driving on Auto Pilot. It typically happens on a wide-open stretch with no other cars in sight. I have not been rear-ended yet, but I've had a couple close calls. I've used the bug reporting process to "mark" the incident and reported it to Tesla. There is currently an NTSB investigation due the number of crashes caused by Tesla's faulty AutoPilot software. I brought my car to the Eden Prairie Service Center today. They said they needed to do a test drive. After I told them, again, what I was experiencing, the tech told me it was "normal" and sent me home, not even a test drive. Perhaps the NTSB will have better luck.... read more

But Tesla seem to hide $1200 delivery fee over their website an all people that I been work with. You will be surprised for $1200 destination charge which they never mention. Hands down TESLA has the most unwilling customer service team of any company I have dealt with. They will not support their own vehicles. Along with their reputation in the repair community is even worse. We have no repair place with in 100 miles of where we live. That will touch repairing any part of a Tesla. They all have the same response when I tell them I have a Tesla. We would touch them for ANY REASON, as Tesla is too hard to work with and most offen will not provide parts for any repair. The customer service agent in the store had me drive to the Eden Prairie location 4 different times to fill out information on something thing they already had. When I asked for a manager the guy refused and said that he was the only one that could help me. I asked about the paperwork and he lied several times on why and how to send the information. Took 3 years, but they got me back! I had a wonderful experience with Kyle K. It looks like this location worked on their customer service. Kyle took us on a great test drive, was very knowledgeable about the products and gave us all of the information we needed if we decided to go forward and add a Tesla to our vehicle lineup. Today we had an interaction with manager Kaitlin from Eden Praire. We applied for tesla, but never proceeded with the order. The purchase contract was never signed, and we never legally agreed to enter it. It states on the website (screenshot attached) and I looked through TESLA FAQ too, that the deposit is fully refundable up until we enter the contract. Since we never entered the contract, I would like the deposit to be refunded. However, Kaitlin is denying my request to process the courtesy refund. I think the language on the website is very misleading and confusing, and is structured in a way to confuse customers. Either way - I was misled. Services were never recieved, but payment remains withheld from me. i would like to get it resolved quickly and I am open to communication with the tesla. read more

Tesla... How I dream of owning a Tesla. Safest vehicles on the road which are all electric with ZERO EMMISIONS. They also have solar roof/panel solutions that can be partnered with a Tesla battery pack to store your daytime energy from your solar panels for use when the sun goes down. That is my plan before getting into a Tesla vehicle. The models they currently offer are the Model S which is a luxury sedan that can best most muscle cars and super cars out there in a race while being the safest car on the road. These cars can range from about $60k - over $100k depending on options. They also offer the Model X which is the SUV/crossover that is more expensive and is only all-wheel-drive. This one has the rear doors commonly called the falcon wing doors. Looks cool. The newest model is also the most affordable so far with prices starting at $35k. There is a wait list for this car currently. I went to this dealership, if that is what you call it, to take a Model S out for a test drive. The one word answer is Wow. You cannot explain it and give it justice, you have to ride in/drive one. So much INSTANT power. When you press on the pedal, it is like a dart Blew my mind. I will have several of these some day. Can't wait to stop buying gas and paying for so much maintenance. These cars currently have autopilot where they drive themselves with an attentive driver at the wheel, which really takes the stress out of traffic. It was so cool to let the car drive itself. The service here and the professionalism of the young men working here to explain a lot of new things and educate people as they come in. They were very patient with my technology challenged wife. They were great. Tesla is working on fully autonomous, where the car can drive itself with nobody inside to run errands, make money as taxi, taking multiple people to work /school. The experts say that we wouldn't have traffic issues if cars drove themselves. All you left lane riders! Slower traffic stays right by law. Follow it. It is the way the German Autobahn works. Appointment was at 1 and after being told five more minutes four time and still no car I ended up leaving. Appointments don't mean anything to them, nor does your time. Got a new model 3. Took it in for service, I screwed up my appointment and showed up without an appointment. They fit me in, fixed the squeak and I was on my way in less than an hour. So I was very happy when this place opened in the spring of 2013. I initially went here to test drive the Model S when the P85 first came out with a friend. They were very helpful and friendly. They did not push at all for a sale, they simply were glad to see our impressions and help spread the word. Since then, I visited again to reserve a Model 3. They were very kind and courteous. Even with the huge line, everything went very smoothly. I plan to keep my reservation in hopes that I will be able to get my Model 3 by the end of next year. read more

Big fan of the cars, but they do have a lot of issues, I'm at the service center at least every 2 months which is ludicrously expensive, and unfortunately it takes quite a long time for anything to get done, sometimes beyond the expected completion date on the Tesla service screen, it doesn't help either that the service center has somewhat rather short operating hours. The service side staff is quite nice however the show room side is another story, they are often rude and have a holier than thou attitude that is very much off putting. I had once requested to test drive a vehicle and was told they would reach out to me to make it happen and they never followed through, I suspect due to my age being on the somewhat younger side (21). It's unfortunate that this Tesla dealer has taken the enthusiasm I have for this brand and turned it into disappointment. I hope they reform the showroom employees attitudes soon because if it persists I'm going to the other service center in Minneapolis even if it is indeed farther from me. They really do need to work with the way they handle potential customers on the younger side because I'm far from the first to have issues and if they persist one day someone is going to be put off so much this location might get slapped with an agism lawsuit. read more

So happy with the service team today. My new Model S somehow got bumped on the front bumper causing the front panel to pop out. I looked at a number of expensive scenarios to fix this via body shops but decided to call Tesla just in case it was an easy fix. They were so wonderful and while it wasn't just a quick fix, it was quick enough for them to get me in, fix the panel and get me on my way with a clean car no less.
