And you're probably…read morefeeling overwhelmed like I was just a few weeks ago but I'm telling you, this is the place to go. Ask for Joseph Skidmore. I knew what I wanted very specific after hours of comparing brands, vehicles and models and trying to price out what I could afford. Joseph made it happen. He asked me questions about my life helping to narrow down which vehicle might fit my family and me best. He also patiently listened to and answered all my 900 questions without judgement. He found me something even better than what I thought I wanted. Buying a car takes awhile and even the manager, Leonard took time to bring me snacks and water. He made me feel welcomed. I love my 2025 Honda Pilot and am so grateful Joseph was there for me when I needed an expert. He will be my first call when I'm ready to buy a car again .....in about 10 years LOL. Until then, I will just help my friends find Joseph & Luther Hopkins Honda when they are in the market.

He was accommodating and understanding when I requested he hold the vehicle I was looking at since I was driving 2.5 hours to see it and couldn't make it in until 7pm after work. He did say there were other inquiries throuhgout the day, but stood his ground and held the vehicle like he said he would. Easy test-drive and purchasing experience. In & out of the dealer within 90mins. Love my new Honda!

The sales experience was great no issues. I'm a mechanic by…read moretrade and did inspct the car top to bottom with the exception of scanning the ECU. (didn't bring my laptop) Everything checked out, drove ok so I bought the vehicle. The very next day the check engine light came on and started leaking coolant and oil both from the tstat and oil cooler and the transmission would not shift . Found who ever did their servicing did a good job covering their tracks , except permanent non-active codes were stored and had been stored for 500 ish miles, meaning they were aware of the issues and attempted to hide the problem. I called the dealer the very next day asking for copies of what their shop did and they refused and worse yet stopped communicating with me. I didn't ask for the dealer to pay for anything just send me documentation. Now have a basket case. their warranty is a joke, doesn't cover the stat or cooler which are bolted to the engine. the transmission issue requires a reflash of the ecu and a service also not covered by their warranty. The transmission work alone is going to cost over $1000 out of pocket because its dealer specific work. The prep and detail was sub par and Dan the salesman said "they only get 20 minutes to clean and detail lower priced cars to keep competitive". Both the engine and Ac filters were plugged with debris, pulled back the carpet it looked like someone dumped grass clippings under the carpet. All said and done I'll be $1400 into repairing the car. So word of advice, stay away from this used car lot and spend your money elsewhere. You'll thank me later.

This time .I had too. Got several messages. Drop the review. Your making me look bad. Well if the shoe fits. Then I get a notice from the new hope location. Same owner. We can not grant you credit. I never did a credit app with them. funny thing is. When I went through the notice. Did dealer check credit score. The box marked was. NO. Hum. Here is the best part. or in my case the worst. Mike in in Bloomington. Still had the car I was looking at. Sent a message. and asked. Give me your best numbers. And we will talk. Here is what I got from him. No. You drop the review. Then we will talk. Im sue sure for some. They have been really good to work with. Just not me. Be careful.

When we asked them to fix what they broke, they said it wasn't them even though we have proof and my husband is a mechanic and knows what he's talking about. They tried charging us $900 more dollars to fix what they broke.

Recently purchased a vehicle having Steve H as our salesperson. Not impressed! He is a true car…read moresalesman, slick and fast. He asks questions but did not even listen to the answer, he is off having a conversation with a sales friend. Our whole experience seemed very unprofessional both with Steve and the dealership. I bought the vehicle and we are already experiencing broken promises and empty words about some last minute fixes we found with the vehicle. "Of course we will fix that" but now that the sale is done, they aren't concerning themselves with any of that. I had to put a deposit down as we looked at the vehicle Friday and finished Saturday. Now, getting the $500 deposit back has become a problem. Still hasn't been refunded. It feels like so many of the things we were being told just aren't adding up. It seems they tell you what you want to hear, and once the vehicle is bought, they have what they want and could care less about you. It's all about the $$$. Steve was going to call and check on things with the new car. 48 hours and that still has not happened. It all feels very disrespectful and disingenuous. I prefer car salespeople that can carry on a normal conversation, joke around and have some fun, and is truly interested in his customers lives. Selling the car should be as fun as buying one. That was not our experience.
