2.5 Stars I'll start with the positive, the sales team at Tesla absolutely kicks butt. The buying experience was smooth, fast, and honestly one of the best parts of the process. Now the reality check... DO NOT accept delivery of a vehicle with ANY blemishes or cosmetic issues. If you do, it becomes your problem to fix - not theirs. I made that mistake, and I regret it. I was told one thing at delivery, but four days later I got a completely different story. The Rocklin service location does not perform auto body repairs. Instead, you're sent to North Sacramento, where: 1.The soonest appointment was a week out 2.You're told to call the day of your appointment to see if a loaner is available If there's no loaner... you're on your own to figure out transportation. That's unacceptable for a brand at this level. Bottom line: If there are ANY paint issues, scratches, dents, or body flaws -REJECT THE VEHICLE ON THE SPOT. Don't assume it'll be easy to fix later. It won't be. I'm more frustrated with myself for accepting it than anything else but hopefully this saves someone else from making the same mistake. read more

Good experience [Rocklin CA] We walked inside and asked to test drive one... we were given a Model 3 to test drive. Daughter had been eyeing on a Tesla even before the brand got political. She doesn't care much for politics. The salespeople were friendly and very helpful and explained to her quick details of the financing situation. We were out of there in less than an hour including almost 30 mins of test driving the car. LoL! She almost didn't want to come back. I remember being stuck in a car dealership for half the day with all the back and forth haggling each time we needed to buy a new car. Dreadful. We were interested in test driving a Model Y Juniper and perhaps finally take the leap into an electric vehicle. I had test driven on previous occasions back in like 2019 & 2022. Phil was our agent and he got us familiarized pretty quickly and we were off to get a feel for the vehicle. Overall it felt leaps and bounds over the previous generation and test drives; ride felt smoother, cabin sounded quieter, and it was rainy so it gave us a chance to run the wipers. The multitude of cameras showing us surrounding traffic in the display was neat too! Went back to the dealership to chat with Phil and he answered all our questions. Even as we left to think more on it, Phil continued to text me and even encouraged us to use a 'referral' from a friend or relative for additional perks, which at this time was 3 months FSD. He told us how his Tesla fits into his life, commute, and how it transforms his lifestyle. There was absolutely no pressure that you would get at a traditional car dealership. This was so refreshing! We ended up ordering a Premium RWD as this had the highest range. We thought quicksilver was a stunning color so we upgraded to that. I practically did the entire process via my iPhone, even opting for Tesla insurance as it was more affordable than my Geico. End of the day, we are loving the new vehicle, the technology is amazing, especially enjoying the plug in convenience during this current spike in gas prices. Absolute criminals. Tesla app says change low voltage battery.. that's it. Change the battery, code still there. Tesla will not pick up the phone they make you schedule a maintenance appointment. Oh you didn't do the procedure to remove the 12v battery... why would I know there is a procedure? The dealership called my daughter and wanted to buy back her car, which was fine. They are giving her $3,500 for it, which she was going to use as a down payment for the new car. That's when they told her that she had to wait 3 weeks for the money. They kept her trade in, and now she wont have a car for 3 weeks. She will have to go rent a car so she can pick up my granddaughters from school and daycare, and go to work. I find the whole scenario quite shitty and shady. Picked a company vehicle today from Tesla Rocklin. Had a hiccup accessing the vehicle at first attempt. Entered the showroom and was greeted quickly. The Tesla associate was very helpful, friendly and resolved the issue I was having relatively quickly. I interacted with several other associates while I was there. Everyone was friendly, attentive and pleasant. I can only speak for my interactions today, but I would certainly revisit this location and purchase a vehicle from them myself. I have had my Tesla Model S since 2015 and I still love it. I have over 140,000 miles on it and it is out of warranty. I had they do the RAM recall on my car this week. They said it would be there over night but they do not offer loaner cars anymore which is so disappointing. They give you Uber credit so you can go home and come back. They give you what you need but I still loved having a car. Things change. Well the replacement was going longer than expected and the tech saw that my screen was separating from the back under the glass. My service rep Elyssa called me and asked if I was going to replace it soon. I was not . it was $800 bucks to do that and $1500 to upgrade the entertainment system. Well they were having problems doing the recall. So they replaced my screen and gave me all new MCU. No Charge. I was blown away. Although the two advisers at the desk were courteous, they seemed extremely busy and didn't appear to have time to do anything other than make sure our paperwork was complete and the money was accounted for. They pointed us to the car's parking space and told us to return should we have questions. Trust the different forums when they say - don't waste your money using Tesla's Mobile Service for a tire rotation. Overpriced, mediocre service and if your Mobile Technician's name is Todd, attention to detail and the clean up process is completely unsatisfactory. Management does not care about your issues since your payment is automatic from the app, and will not follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction. It is amazing to think people are lining up to buy cars from $40k - $140k from a place with such incredibly uncoordinated, uncaring and uniformed staffed. Not only did we show up for a delivery that wasn't ready, we wasted two hours being shuffled around between people who weren't remotely helpful. We couldn't get any help, it was a regrettable waste of time. Top it all off, the whole showroom has a single gender neutral bathroom. It hadn't been cleaned or cared for and the expect their staff and customers to use the bathroom with no working lights. Literally have a sign encouraging you to pee in the bathroom with your cell phone light. We left and bought a gently used Tesla at carmax (which was effortless). I booked an appointment via the Tesla App, I had chosen collision repair as the purpose of my service. I had posted photos of the damage as they requested. It was almost 2 weeks for the earliest appointment available. 2 days before my appontment I recieved a message from them stating that they are cancelling my appointment as their tesla service center do not have currently the resources needed to address my collision related concern. Im so pissed off that I waited almost 2 weeks and I even took some time off from work to be told they cant service my car, if I knew this I could have brought my tesla to another body shop! Bought our first Tesla here last October and love the car. The Model 3 is by far, one of the best cars on the road. Safety wise, design wise, and money wise. We test drove the car in October and ordered it online in the showroom. Very easy process and we're surprised to find out a couple days later, that the car would be ready in less then 2 weeks! Very surprising as many people were waiting for months. The day it was available, we arrived early to look for any imperfections that many owners found on their vehicles (panel gaps, scratches on paint etc...) Luckily, there were only a couple minor things that needed fixing but the service center quickly fixed these all. The only negative we have was that the delivery team wasn't the greatest at showing all the features of the car. They seemed like they were in a rush just to hand it off, despite the building being practically empty. It wouldn't been nice to have the proper walkthrough like we saw other owners have via YouTube videos after the fact. Besides this, the car is excellent and so fun to drive. The service center has been good at fixing any problem we've had or questions regarding the car. The only thing is they get busy with so many new Tesla cars on the road. Fortunately, they have a mobile service available that were tried once to rotate our tires. The mobile techs are excellent and came right to our house. The job was done in less that 10 min and he also fixed a couple other minor things we had. Saved us a couple hours on our day! Overall, the showroom is nice but you can easily order your car on your own online without the stress of being stuck with the car. read more

They found a way to get us charged, got us a loaner for the rest of our trip, and most astonishingly, THEY FIXED THE CHARGE PORT ISSUES that I've been trying to get fixed at Sunnyvale for about three months now. They did it in one day on a Sunday! I couldn't be happier and am very grateful to them for their knowledgeability, professionalism, and follow through. Can't recommend them enough. read more

Within 3 minutes of obtaining the service password, I knew what was wrong with my vehicle, which according to them, there was nothing wrong with.
