The best! Right next to Starbucks and they have the new superchargers that charge car really fast! Lots of chargers Big parking lot

the new supercharger stalls

This is our go to supercharger spot whenever there are roadtrips as it's on the 46 where it connects to the 101. With the new supercharger stalls there's always something available and there's a Starbucks right nearby. Sometimes we also check out the TJ Maxx

This supercharger station was located in the Golden Hills Plaza shopping center, the same parking lot as TJ Maxx and Lowe's. One of the reasons why I stopped here to charge the Tesla was that it had a decent price per kW rate. While waiting for the car to finish charging, I walked over to the nearby Starbucks to get a drink as well as to use their restroom.

No shade and popular stop as there are about 17 supercharger stalls . So many Tesla's came after that it slowed our car charge. Good thing at least, there are several places to eat around. Just wish there was shade especially, for those hot days! [43R,2023]

Blazing fast supercharging at 995 mi/hr today! Downside is cell service sucks throughout the entire shopping center. Boo AT&T !!

Paso Robles used to be a convenient stopover city because it was halfway between SF and LA. Nowadays it's become the next prestige wine destination region after Napa and Sonoma. If you're a Tesla owner that translates to 26 different wineries that offer destination charging options. So it makes sense with the growing recognition, a supercharging station would eventually be necessary. This is the newest of the 4 supercharging stations located along the 101 corridor and the most northern; the other 3 being Pismo Beach (which also opened earlier this year), SLO and Atascadero. It is also the most numerous of the 4 with 28 V3 stalls (which translates to 250 kW). Though I am not from the area I heard about a horror story involving super-long wait times in the SLO supercharger during Thanksgiving. With 4 SCs along the 101 the drive to find a SC should be less nervewracking, especially if you're also taking a drive along the Central Coast. The SC is located inside Golden Hills Plaza across from Bed Bath & Beyond and T.J. Maxx. They also serve as convenient bathroom stops. Starbucks and Subway are your most convenient food/coffee options. The SCs stalls are positioned so that cars can charge back-to-back.

24+ supercharging stations back to back rows! Great spot to recharge your Tesla transiting through Paso Robles. Lots of charging stations available and a Starbucks with friendly staff is also close by for restroom and food pit-stop. If you get here late the parking lot is very well lit which is a good bonus!

Nice , neat and clean charger in a large strip mall. The mall was empty at night but it felt reasonably safe.

Junction Tapas and Winebar - Argentinian Beef Empanadas

Junction brings elements of Spain to you with flavors and tapas that just hit the spot…read more The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, they allow dogs in the back and provide them with water bowls. The restaurant has romantic and has a very rustic environment. Service was amazing, Luke was absolutely amazing and great with suggestions, he was overall just an amazing person to host us. He made sure to be check on us as often as possible he could and brought out the food in great timing. The junction paella- was very delicious, the depth of flavor was amazing and the Spanish chorizo was delicious and the chicken was really good. The rice just had these amazing flavors and had some heat as well. The mushroom empanadas were just amazing, the dough was crisp and buttery, the mushroom mix was so very delicious and the sauce they gave was such a perfect complement to the dish. The patatas bravas was my favorite to be honest... it's such a simple dish but it's just so good. The sauces and crispy textures of the potato were just delicious. Me and my wife came here at the end of our roadtrip And it's about 4 hours from where we live lol... but we enjoyed it so Much we would make the trip just to eat here again.

Off the beaten path and a great spot if you're trying to avoid the tourist crowds of the downtown…read moresquare, Junction is nestled in a train station compound. Unassuming from the outside, this hidden gem brings a blend of Latino cultures to the literal table. We've been here before and loved it, but they've since elevated their menu and added many more items. The wine list is overflowing with small-batch, boutique local wines--either Latino-owned or featuring Spanish varietals. I started with a glass of Victor Hugo Merlot, which was fantastic, but let me tell you about the Caelesta Cab/Mourvèdre. This sexxy red (shoutout to my girl Sexxy Red) was velvety, incredibly well-balanced, and perfectly complemented the paella fideuà. Junction serves fideo, or fideuà, sourced from Etto Pasta, and it's always nostalgic for me. This comforting yet stylish dish hugged me like it hadn't seen me in years. I teared up (yeah, I did...what about it?) and actually paused to consider: do I want to eat this whole dish in one sitting? Should I reconsider post-date-night plans because I might be too full? Nah--bring it on. The calories can be worked off later. The seafood paella fideuà got better with every bite. The shrimp, squid, rockfish, and mussels were cooked to perfection. I found myself clutching my linen napkin, wishing the dish would never end, hoping that my wife wouldn't notice that I'm about to make this paella my bitch, wishing I could endorse this paella to run for president and run more than two terms! Splooosh! The food and wine are the kind you'd tell your grandkids about around a campfire--meals that inspire the next generation of food lovers. But the staff were just as much the stars of the show. The space is on the smaller side but thoughtfully laid out. They were slammed--in the best way. It's the kind of place where you know whatever you order will be great, yet you worry service might slip with only two servers and no hostess. Both my wife and I have worked in service, so we appreciate a well-oiled machine--and I'm not talking about myself here. I'm talking about the legends who ran the floor that night. Too often, diners overlook the staff or don't fully understand the intensity of a Friday night rush. Major kudos to the chef and kitchen team, but may the odds forever be in favor of the front-of-house crew for flawlessly navigating the chaos. Luke Estrella was definitely getting his steps in, along with his teammate, but they always made time to pour wine, share insights, and connect with guests--all while smiling and putting out fires left and right. Bravo. 4 stars cause everyone could use room to grow.

We were on a schedule so didn't linger too long, otherwise I would have liked to try a red. At $10/glass it was quite reasonable. We came because Google said it was kid-friendly, and it was definitely a good recommendation. The grounds are fun. They have some historical art stuff, interesting sculptures, beautiful landscaping, lots of space, pretty vines, bocce ball, and ping pong. We came with the kids and had fun walking around, playing bocce ball, and enjoying the wine. I love places like this!

Yeah, I didn't believe it either, but then I saw a sign in their vineyard that proved me wrong. It read: "Water into Wine" And now, I'm a believer! So what brought us to this magical place you ask?? Well, besides the obvious (the wine).... It was the.... ok you caught me!! We came for the wine! Yeah, we were staying at the Ava Hotel in Paso for my wife's birthday weekend (definitely check this place out if you are looking for a beautiful spot to call home away from home) And being that we were in wine country.... We wanted a nice outdoor vineyard where our kids could be outside, run around, and get all of their energy out all while Mommy & Daddy had our own little R&R time sippin' on the good stuff. And let me tell you, it was Good Stuff! When we first arrived at Sculpterra, we already knew the place was going to be a hit as the parking lot was hoppin. And apparently we weren't the only ones that got the memo that this place was THE PLACE to be as it was just a little bit off the beaten trail from where we started out... Approximately 6 miles from "Downtown Paso" (through the city limits, down the 'ol country back roads and suddenly we were in wine country!) Prior to heading to the vineyard, we did a quick pit stop at McDonalds for the kids so they had something they liked. As for me and my wife, we opted to get some of the local fare items offered on site, cause what goes better with wine than a yummy charcuterie board? I'll answer that momentarily! But wait, theres more!!!! Upon finding a nice little table outdoors to sit and relax with our wine chilled in a bucket of ice, there was suddenly music to our ears and Love to my eyes! Yes, there was lovely Live Music being played by a band and out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a food truck serving Mexican Food from a local Mexican restaurant. Remember earlier when I said what goes better with wine than a charcuterie board? Well, if you guessed a little Mexican Food, then you are oh so right, but only in moderation! So in order not to ruin the good vibes of the beautiful vino from Sculpterra, I opted for just one taco and a cup of their poblano soup and man was it fire. The soup was piping hot and it had a kick of spice that made me spice from ear to ear. As far as the wine, the vineyards vibe and the entire aesthetic of the grounds, Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Gardens (the vineyard was adorned with many abstract and contemporary pieces that are all photo worthy), this place checks all the boxes. The place is kid friendly as there is plenty of space, both indoors and out, with areas for the kids to throw a ball, run around, or even learn to play a g as a game of chess. A decent variety of Reds, Whites, & Blends are all up for grabs, so if you find yourself in Paso Robles with the fam or its just you and your hunny, definitely come check this place out and watch the miracle of them turning water into wine!

While the building is historic it's been recently renovated and the rooms are modern and well equipped. We chose a Garden King Room. It's a good-sized room with a fireplace and a nice balcony overlooking the beautiful courtyard. The bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower and a large double vanity. There is a Nespresso type coffee maker in the room and a tea kettle. Also, a couple bottles of drinking water per day are provided. Connected to the hotel is the wonderful Cattlemen's Bar which is beautifully renovated and has a nice local wine list and makes creative cocktails. There's also a breakfast restaurant which I went to for take-out coffee (the coffee maker in the room made weak coffee). Also, a steakhouse which we did not visit but is also recently renovated and looks nice. Service at the hotel was professional and friendly. The only downside of the hotel is that we were so busy with activities that we did not get to take full advantage of the hotel offerings.

The instructions posted on the wall do not match the buttons on the remote. We ended up doing a web search for the unit's instruction manual. That's pretty sad. These things should be more intuitive. We liked having a fridge and microwave in the room. The downside to our room was that it was on the 2nd floor and we had to carry our things up the stairs since there was no elevator. Do ask for a ground floor if you want to avoid walking up stairs. I became more mindful of these details in recent years when husband suffered from shortness of breath and had a challenging time doing stairs. The property looks nice with several different buildings surrounding a center common grassy lawn area with curved walkways & mini bridge next to their herb garden and koi pond. There are little fish and some ginormous ones in their koi pond. There is also a pool at the rear of the property. It was easy to find parking near our room. The grounds look lovely from your room or from a distance. But we noticed dog poop on the grass when we wanted to walk over to one of the sofas in the grassy area. BE CAREFUL when walking on the grassy parts. People who bring pets here are not mindful about cleaning up after their pets. This is in stark contrast to our stay at Cambria Shores Inn during the previous days (a pet friendly hotel with lots of little dogs staying and no dog poop messes in the outdoor common areas). I guess the pet owners who stay at Cambria Shores Inn are more respectful than the ones who stay here at Paso Robles Inn. Another thing about the outdoor seating is that they look great from a distance, but their uncleanliness can be seen once you walk closer. They were dirty and there was even one set of sofas that had poop on them. It's as if the hotel staff does not go around and wipe the cushions down each day (which I have seen hotel staff do at other hotels and it truly makes a difference). It looks like a nice place to sit & relax outside, but doesn't really work out that way in practice. Hotel is conveniently located near shops & restaurants. The one challenge is crossing Spring St. which is way busier than I ever imagined it to be before booking a room here. LOL The downtown area is pleasant, and you don't need to drive anywhere unless you're visiting a nearby winery.

When we checked in and got to our room, the property felt completely empty. We were the only guests we could see, which made the whole place feel eerie and uncomfortable. We walked around the entire property and saw no one. There were only three cars in the parking lot, including ours and the front desk employee's car, yet we were told they were "fully booked" when we asked about moving to a larger room. The room itself was not great. The bed is extremely hard and squeaks with every movement. On top of that, the AC does not work. We told the front desk before leaving for dinner about the AC and were told someone would come fix it. When we returned, the room was even hotter than before & it felt like walking into a sauna. The windows don't open, so the only way to get air in is by opening the doors, which obviously lets bugs in. The "free wine tasting" was also frustrating. At check-in, we were told that we would get complimentary tastings at the tasting room. When we went to the tasting room, we were told they were "too busy" for tastings and that we would need to buy glasses of wine instead. We didn't want to make a scene, so we ended up purchasing a bottle and a glass, which came out to $85 & we never received the tastings we were told were included with our stay. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Between the uncomfortable room, broken AC, lack of guests/staff on the property, and being denied the complimentary tasting we were promised, I would not recommend staying here. Do not let the 4.6 rating fool you.
