I've been going to the same salon for 15 years, but it was time for a change. Tesoro was one of the few salons on Yelp with a 5 star rating and for me, that's everything. After reading several reviews, it seemed that Ahmed was the only, or at least "THE" stylist there. So i basically read all of his reviews and the two things many of his reviewers said, was that he listens closely to what they want and then delivers the perfect result. These are by far the two most important qualities your want in a stylist. I'm very picky about my hair and how it's cut. After just a few minutes talking with Ahmed, i felt confident he knew what i wanted. So here we go...Scissor Cut, Shampoo, Blow Dry and out the door within 45 minutes...Wow, that's a PRO! To sum things up, my hair looks great, everything was done in a timely manor and at a great price! I will most likely get a beard trim next time...yeah he does that too. I took out my phone and opened up a screenshot of a hairstyle I wanted, I asked if this was possible with my current hair length and he took one glance at it and said "yes". The result was not the hair style. When I told him that and showed him the picture, he replied that he thought it was the one next to it. I don't know why he thought that because i had pointed specifically at the correct image before he began. He said that my hair was too short for that hairstyle, so he gave me the one next it. Then he implied that the style made me look professional. I want to point out that the one he thought he mistaken for looks nothing like what he did.
