I have been waiting for Tessio to open and it finally has! I believe it is the same owners as Toad House in Bremerton, so I was happy to have great pizza so close by! We went last night about an hour before closing and the service was great and pizza was amazing! I believe it is even better than their other pizza place; didn't think that was possible. The crust is so delicious! Chatted with the owner for a little while, nice to see someone have so much passion for their business; it absolutely shows in the service and quality of food. Our only suggestion was to consider adding some more whiskey cocktails. We will definitely be back!! read more

This place is hit or miss. We've been four times and we've gotten a different pizza each time. If you choose the wrong thing you'll be bummed out hard but the right thing and you'll be rather stoked. I've had a good pesto pizza before but the pesto here should be avoided in my opinion. Red sauce pizza here is where it's at. Rather delicious. So some high highs and low lows makes this place fall right into the three star category for me. read more

I definitely recommend avoiding this place. The food and drinks are overpriced. We had the Razorback Pizza, and it was good, but worth about half the price. The wedge salad was also good, but overpriced. I noticed a note on the bottom of the menu that charges a "Split Plate Charge" of $2.50 for Entree Salads or $5.00 for Sandwiches and Paninis, and I find this RIDICULOUS! Why is a food item suddenly more expensive, because 2 people share it? Also, I felt that the service was average, but the staff had a snooty and pretentious attitude. News Flash: You're in Silverdale, not Bel Air! Definitely not my kind of place,so I will not go back, and I recommend that others avoid it, too. read more

Everyone who owns a pizza place with a wood fired oven should be forced to do some training in Italy. The ovens are wasted when you use them to cook a standard Americanized, thick ass pizza. The pizza here is high quality, but the same style you would get from dominos or papa Murphys. Thick and cheesy and same ol'. This is not how a wood fired oven should be used. You can get the same result on a gas assembly line cooker. If ya want a thick, chewy, Murican pizza, then this is your place. Also, a bit overpriced....about $30 a head with tip. read more

We went to Tessio because I received a gift card, and our experience here was not what we hoped. We were hoping to go in and get some beer and pizza, but instead we sat waiting to get seated and then waited even longer to get served.. there was a big party in front of us and they stated it would take about 15 minutes longer. So we expected a wait, but not a 50 minute wait to get a pizza.. no one check on us and no one even apologized for it taking so long. And to top it all off, the pizza wasn't even that great. The whole experience of one beer and pizza took 2 hours.. We will not be returning. I was not impressed with the staff or the food. read more

First time coming here tonight. The place was full and we ended up waiting 15 minutes for a table which wasn't bad. Our server and hostess were awesome! Even though the wait was a little long for the food (would t be if you like cocktails or are a whiskey drinker). I ordered the Greek salad and it was amazing!! Totally exceeded my expectations. Today was my first time visiting Tessio!and there are no words I can use to fully explain how satisfied I am with the service and especially the pizza. We ordered the cheese bread and it was perfect, TOTALLY RECOMMENDED! We also ordered the Tazzmaniac pizza and the What About Bob pizza... once again there are no words I can think of other than every time my family or friends come into town this WILL be our go-to spot! This place has really good pizza! We had two pizzas and some Old Fashioned's while we celebrated St. Patrick's Day. There's a lot of whiskey to choose from, so you'll have to come by a few times to try most of them. We will come back to have more. read more

The service has consistently been wonderful (Marshall is particularly awesome) and we're always greeted warmly and treated well. Happy hour all day on Sunday! This is my new favorite pizza in kitsap! I ordered the red, white, green pizza and finishes it off by the next day. The layers in the dough arnt overly crispy like some wood fire pizzas can be. My husband ordered the hawainn, the spam that comes on the hawainn makes this pizza original and why I will always have to ordered it when I come here. Hands down one of our new favorite spots. Greg behind the bar was full of great suggestions and knowledge on whiskey. He made a great Old Fashioned for me, and was able to accommodate my husband's special request due to food allergies. The food was some of the best we've had in Silverdale/Bremerton ever.
