We had a tough time choosing which pizza to get. There were so many choices! All of which sounded amazing. We ended up getting the Marco Antonio . It had me at pineapple and jalapeño. ( My favorite two pizza toppings.) The pizza smells and looks awesome! The crust had a nice crisp to it with a touch of char, exactly what you look for in a good wood fired pizza crust. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. It was love at first bite! The customer service was friendly and quick at pick up as well as over the phone. Exceptional service can turn what would have been a good dining experience into a memorable one. Such was the outstanding customer service that Derrick provided on this, our first visit here. And it will not be the last. I was aware of the great reviews for Tessio but couldn't picture where it was in Silverdale. On our way to Petsmart I saw the sign. Turns out it's been there for three years but I never saw it, but Derrick explained he hears that a lot. When we walked in there was one other gentleman in the place. Derrick graciously welcomed us and said we could pick any table. We've rarely met a host/server like him. He was warm and friendly, immediately putting us at ease. He answered all our questions about the restaurant and about the food. He also displayed the ability to check on us during the meal without being obtrusive. And what was exceptionally cool was Derrick, informing us where we could enjoy festive weekend activities--including fireworks displays--in both Silverdale and Bremerton. As you can see from the photo of Starter Salad, it's a meal in itself. A beautiful, wonderful salad made with butter lettuce, plenty of bacon bits, sliced roma tomatoes, and a balsamic glaze. I was so hungry I finished mine and part of my wife's, but we easily could have shared one salad. All the pizzas are 10". I was concerned one pizza would not be enough for both of us. I shouldn't have been concerned. Again, one pizza fed both of us with half of it left over. All the pizzas are cooked inside a brick wood-fired oven. We chose the American Standard: Red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, black olives, mushrooms. Honestly, the pizza is not made in our favorite style, but it was darn good. In fact, it reminded my wife and I of the pizzas we enjoyed at a popular restaurant back in our college days. The white mozzarella cheese covered the pepperoni, mushrooms and olives. It looked like the pepperoni and mushrooms were hand-sliced, the black olives hand-chopped. I was surprised there were no blackened spots on the cheese because, to us, the hard, grayish edges of the pizza crust looked a little overcooked. BUT--and this is an important BUT--this is the first pizza place with a wood-fired pizza oven that produced pizza that looked like it came out of a wood-fired oven. The crust was crisp but not overly so, whereas with the other places the pizza could have come out of a traditional pizza oven. For our beverage we chose a glass of the house red, Colosi Rosso. It had nice body and flavor, with acidity that stood up to the gooey lusciousness of the pizza. Derrick told us their sister pizza restaurant is The Toad House in Bremerton. My wife and I now have another pizza place to try while we look forward to our next visit here. read more

I had heard some good chatter around town about this restaurant. Came in at lunch time. The woman that served us was very friendly. We had the Wedge Salad. I don't like pizza much and when I do, I'm good with a stuffed crust from PH. This place has some really really good pizza!! I ordered the white chick and the sauce is amazing, fresh ingredients, our server was attentive and she mentioned that this pizza place has the biggest whiskey selection in Kitsap county which I thought was pretty cool. The location was east to find and inside is decent with enough tables And a full bar. I'd recommend this place for fresh hot pizza, the bacon wrapped smokies is a must, salads are pretty good and huge servings. This place is super cool and felt appropriate for a romantic date or a cozy family dinner if you sit toward the front of the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and made out Whiskey sours to perfection (egg white top like it should be if your civilized). Our pizza was really good. Fluffy crust with a slight crunch. Perfect dough. My only one thing was the amount of sauce to dough ratio. A bit more sauce and it would have been that much better. I'm stoked to have a great whisky abs pizza bar in Kitsap. We were on vacation in the area and in the mood for pizza. We got the only open table remaining when we arrived. We ordered pizza and a salad. It took a bit of time for the food to come out, but our server was friendly and checked on us several times. The food was quite good. The pizza crust was not too thick or thin, the sauce tasted fresh, and the mozzarella and basil finished it off. We ordered balsamic on the salad, which was a healthy portion. Great beer fun atmosphere really nice staff and my taste buds are tingling with happiness over this Brewers pizza! I feel safe with their Covid protocols and entertained by lively atmosphere TV and a well-stocked bar. The staff has been super accommodating and helpful while I was here. I ordered my pizza and arrived five minutes later to drink a beer while I waited. They said it would be 15 minutes but it was nearly 10 so I ate while I drink my beer and I am enjoying it here. This might be one of the best pizza crusts have everyday. They have lots of great local and semi local group of beers so that makes it even better for me. If you're in the area I recommend you come give it a try! Not a great experience, all of the plates were covered in grease. I used a napkin to wipe them off and it had yellow residue on it afterwards. The prices are insanely high and don't include a 3.5% charge for using a credit card. It's $5 to split a sandwich. We live in Seattle so we're no stranger to high costs for going out, but given the caliber of food and the fact that it's in a strip mall, the costs just aren't worth it here. Great service and the food is very good. We have tried most of the menu and have not been disappointed. The bartenders know their trade, cocktails are mixed right. In addition, they have a good selection of beer on tap. Downside would be prices are high, sometimes the food takes a while. The biggest negative for me is they have no menus! No class at all requiring customers to download a menu to a phone and read it. Part of a relaxing dining and bar experience is putting your phone away and enjoying an easy to read menu. Went here with some girlfriends on a Monday night. If you are military, Monday is half price pizzas!!!! So I ended up getting two because of this discount since I couldn't choose which one I wanted. One pizza is around $15 regular price and serves 3-4. I recommend the "standard" pizza and "giraffe". My friends enjoyed their food. The staff were courteous and the other restaurant patrons were friendly. The reason I gave it a 4 star is the lighting was too dark for my preference. I heard good things about this from a local friend who has checked it out on a few occasions. She recognized that I would be in love with their broccoli appetizer and suggested this for our dinner meetup. I always complain about the lack of good food in Silverdale and am always trying to find something better. Vegetarian options in the area are often sparse. I would have loved to be able to find a menu online though prior to going. I was surprised to find this in this location, but you truly can not recognize what it was before. Plenty of parking outside. We were seated in a comfy booth where we were able to keep an eye on the pizza oven. Happy hour had reasonable prices. I was in fact in love with the seared and spiced broccoli, so much so that we ordered a 2nd order. Its pricey on the regular menu, but reasonable for happy hour. We also had some delicious tapenade which seemed like something they were just trying out. We received great service with multiple refills on our beverages. One of the cooks even came out to ask us what we thought of the new tapenade. I have been dreaming about going back here and will definitely make it again soon. I've tried their sister restaurant ToadHouse with the big beer selections and this one is even better with a big selection of whiskey. Ordered the lunch special with pizza and salad for ten bucks. Accompanied with an 8 Seconds Honey Cinnamon shot. Yummy. They have gluten free crust available and sandwiches (grilled paninis) as well as a couple appetizers.
