Chinese lettuce wraps were the best item on the menu, but very salty. I ordered some brown rice after taking a few bites to dilute the saltiness and that was better. I am so glad they offer brown rice. Other people in our group ordered the butter chicken, mamas midnight Ramen, and General Tsao's Chicken. The mama's midnight Ramen was horrible. The broth had a really bad flavor and was too salty. The pork belly was very tough and the worst my friend had ever eaten. Very few vegetables. The general Tsao's chicken was quite similar to a stirfry you would get in a food court. Very boring and salty and nothing special. Worst "Thai" restaurant I've ever been too. Food was bad. Got wontons which was a just a giant shrimp wrapped w some chicken and a wonton wrapper folded over it. Nothing about it was good. Ordered a 5 spicy which ok some restaurants don't actually know what spicy is this one doesn't which fine (it's more like a 2/10) But there was absolutely no flavor in the noodles. For veggies there was a few pieces of broccoli and green cabbage.. and nothing like traditional pad see ew. It was a very sad dish The table we sat at had a leak dropping down from the ceiling and we told the waiter who just put a napkin down where it was dripping. Waitress never checked on our table until the end of the meal where she asked if we needed boxes bcuz we barely touched our food. We went here on the recommendation of a local friend after saying that we really enjoyed Thai Me Up In Jackson. The seating and atmosphere are very nice with patio seating available. The Thai options were a bit limited but they allowed me to add tofu to their Pad Thai in lieu of the chicken that my husband ordered. Not sure if their spice tendencies, we both ordered "level 2". Level 2 turned out to be very mild so we eventually got a side of chili to add. My tofu was deep fried and extremely tough. My husband liked his Pad Thai once we added chili. As someone who doesn't eat meat, Teton Thai is always a pleasure due to their diverse and dietary friendly menu. I'd sign myself up for a bowl of their tofu curries any day. They have a convenient location right downtown on Main Street, and even can be found via food truck/tent at Music on Main! The tofu pad thai is a little over cooked in bulk on Music on Main, but it is still hands down the tastiest, heartiest, and most nutritious offering out of the food trucks, and is a steal at just $10 a bowl! read more

Aw I was so excited about this place :( I ordered on ChowNow, chicken pad Thai and the mango duck curry. I tried to order the duck curry a few weeks ago and they were out, so I was pumped to try it! I got the order and there was.....not a single bite of duck. It said mango fried duck on the container so not like we accidentally got someone else's they just...didn't put duck in it. We ordered to go food from this place and I called about an issue with the order. The lady who answered the phone was laughing at my comments. I asked her why she was laughing and she said it's smokey in the restaurant. I have no idea why smoke would make a person laugh but clearly there is something wrong with this restaurant and their staff. I read a few bad reviews on yelp and thought I'd give it a shot anyways, well I was wrong so don't make the same mistake I did. We ordered the Pad Thai and Gang Karee. Again... not worth it. We've eaten here a few times and it doesn't disappoint! Like with most thai food, it's much better in person, but we'll take it to go if needed. The pad thai is a classic. We also enjoyed the thai street ribs and crying tiger! The tom kha and cashew nuts chicken we're great, and there's more menu items that sounded delicious that I definitely intend to try out in the future. Dinner location needed to be found and fast, Teton Thai popped up on the radar and it's also one of the restaurants that stays open "late." The place was quite full for a Saturday night, but not packed. We were quickly greeted and seated. Free spicy edamame with a Yelp check-in. I can't pinpoint what spices were used, but it was tasty. Each of us ordered different items and shared. The something "the Jean" was pretty much green curry with a twist and noodles (flavorful but in a different sense, tasted good), the duck noodle soup was a bit too salty (probably because the duck itself was already salted), duck with green curry (not sure if there's something unusual with the duck used, too salty), and chicken pad thai (tasted a bit pre-packaged, not quite what I'm familiar with). Overall, Teton Thai is more fusion than traditional Thai. Of the dishes mentioned, my favorites included the spicy edamame and "the Jean." Service was superb! The decor inside was also quaint, great place for a date night. Thank you Teton Thai for a great evening for my reunion with friends. read more

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. It is hands down the most killer Thai food ever. And my dining partner just was in Thailand!!! First off, we were on the prowl for some summer shandy and the bartender heard us asking around. When we ordered our drinks ( not shandy) the waiter retuned with 2 icy cold glasses of yellow murk. He said the bartender heard we wanted shandy and to give these a try. SUcCESS. They were even better than the real thing. In fact, we now make these homemade shandys all the time!!! On to the food. Warning: on a scale of 2-5 2 is hot. 3 is HOT and I usually can handle hot. So be careful. We started out with the tom kha gai or lemongrass soup. Heavenly. They bowl was plenty big enough to share and might have been the best thing we ate. Literally tasted like it had been simmering for days. Huge hunks of chicken, mushroom, lemongrass and veggies were like little bites of bonus flavor. The broth was thin but creamy and the aftertaste packed a spicy punch! We couldn't stop eating it. For dinner my friend has the gang karee, your basic Indian type yellow curry. It was good with potatoe and bell peppers and for an "unspicy" plate was still pretty hot! I opted for the gang khiao wan and I am still craving it. Seriously, my mouth is watering right now. Green curry loaded with meat an bamboo....oh. The only mistake I made was I dumped my whole rice into my curry bowl and after about 3 bites I was sweating, Sputtering and swearing. I wish I had some naked rice to quell the heat! That being said I ate my entire plate because the flavors were perfect and amazing and even though it was hot I could taste every Individual component . Teton Thai has good food but it is unfortunately not well matched by their poor value; prices are too high and gratuity is often added in "clever" (arguably deceitful) ways. On top, when you complain about legitimate issues (black plastic bits in your food) and send emails to them with photos (after spending +$50), you get no response "crickets". A super fun fancy spot in the wilderness of Driggs, Idaho. This is a great place to have dinner at after a long day up at Grand Targhee. The restaurant has an elevated romantic feel to it. I have tried the chicken pad thai, the yellow curry, and the prawn potstickers and all of them were delicious. The portions are very large and more than enough for leftovers. There spice levels are definitely American and not Thai so if you like it spicy let them know. The pad thai is really cook lots of tasty peanuts and sprouts. The yellow curry is almost more of a soup than a sauce, a lot more runny than I normally have had, but still very good. read more

Locals and visitors! Come one come all! Who would have known in the middle of Idaho (or the edge) you'd find some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten. Not only was the food outstanding, but it was quick. If you choose to dine in, you'll be met with a modern but still very quintessential Teton vibe. There is some outdoor seating as well which is perfect in this moderately arid climate. Enjoy views of sunset on the Tetons while you eat the tastiest green curry or pad Thai. The wait for Bison Pho takes almost 30 minutes. At least a 10 minute wait just for Egg Rolls. They have Thai Iced Tea but not Thai Iced Coffee. The Banana Cheesecake wasn't what I expected. The prices are fairly high and add up fast (plus they charge a 10% fee for takeout). Probably not a place most people would eat out at on a regular basis, but worth a try. read more

This place has been good in the past but after several recent visits, I have some negatives. The cashew nut stir fry is now consistently bland. The other Teton Thai (previously related, now not) serves up a better cashew nut stir fry with more flavor and umami. My other beef with the place is a 20% AUTOMATIC gratuity for takeout. I know places are struggling but comeon. Takeout!?! I might have kept my mouth shut if it were 15% but more restaurants that keep doing this is ridiculous. Just switch to a 'no tip' restaurant and price accordingly. This is getting out of hand for minimal service. read more

Coming here for over ten years. Last visit was extremely disappointing. Ordered One of their noodle dishes with crispy duck (+$9.00) with three star degree of spice. This level is not take your head off level, but close. Dish arrived on a small plate/bowl. No side dish of brown or white rice as before, the dish had no spices and the duck had been deep fried in some orange batter that was so overcooked it was dry and tasteless. Total cost of the dish was $26.00, but extremely bland and duck very overcooked and dry. Won't be back until I hear better reports-sad. read more
