I've only been to the Driggs location. Driggs is a small, Idaho town in a beautiful valley at the base of the Teton range. Teton Thai is a bright spot in the small restaurant scene here. This restaurant is a 'must go' every time I visit the Tetons... There's one in Jackson Hole Village which is good, but the restaurant in Driggs is phenomenal and by far my favorite. Incredible space. Incredible food. From the 'near miss' neon Bison installation above the bar to the torn out dictionary pages, the perfectly lit, carefully designed space offers a warm ambiance of sensory euphoria. Then there's the food. Classic Thai inspired dishes meet unique interpretations and elegant presentations. All that with a well equipped wine list and many different sudsy ales and brews to choose from. Oh... the spice is serious here. If you order 5-Star spice... beware. Even a 3 can light up your nostrils. The good news? You won't need to buy Tylenol Cold or Robitussen if you have a cold. I like Teton Thai, beautiful interior, great location. I prefer sitting in the booths. Waitstaff is good, a little slow. but they're always busy! it's really good. but it's not great. My favorites are: steamed or fried dumplings, spring rolls with that yummy peanut sauce, The street ribs (those really are good!), bison pho, duck noodle soup, spicy fried rice, and the yummy yummy kanom Jean. (Excellent, green curry... I always get it with chicken, unless they have halibut) Nice selection of beer. read more

Charged for dish we didn't receive, called 4 times, no refund. We ordered takeout from Teton Thai because our go-to (Chiang Mai Thai in Victor, highly recommended) was closed. When I got home with our order, I realized there were only two items in the bag. Mistakes happen, and that's ok. I called the next day to ask for a partial refund for the item we didn't receive, and after half an hour the person on the phone agreed. A week later, no refund. I called and requested for the missing item to be taken off my bill FOUR TIMES in total and each time, Teton Thai agrees it's fair to refund the missing dish and then does nothing about it. This was on November 12, it's been nearly a month, and Teton Thai hasn't made things right. read more

Really good Thai, not the best I've had, but pleasantly surprising for a small town like Driggs. Their portions are huge!! The best dish I had was the Tom Kha soup and pad Thai. The curry was good as well. We also tried the sushi place That is linked to this restaurant and it was pretty good as well. Overall a great find in Driggs! We ordered a large take out order and were not told there would be a 15% service fee for take out. I was not told until after my credit card was run. She ran my card and then said "this included a $23 takeout fee". I said "wow just to box up the food?" And she rudely replied "yup!". My service fee was as much as a meal. Had I known before hand I would not have ordered from here. On top of that they are charging outrageous prices and the serving sizes are very small for the price. Food was just ok. Curry dishes are very fresh and flavorful. Came back 3 nights later and had the Spicy Beef Fried Rice and that was amazing too. More like a stir fry of fresh veggies and meat mixed with rice. I suggest brown rice for added depth. Everything is good here!! read more

Was traveling with a group of friends, some of us eat meat while others are vegan, this place offers literally something for everyone. The sticky rice with mango is delicious. The laab salad with available spice is intriguing, and warm. I had the spicy fried rice with beef and really enjoyed it. I could have handled more heat but was dissuaded by the server! This is not a complaint! Also they have a single barrel brewery in the back with a couple tasty offerings. A true micro brewery that has good enough beer to compete with the big guys. All in all I would return for another meal and suggest to anyone traveling through this quaint little town!! A true gem. read more

So so so soooooo soo good. I ordered this to go after searching food in the area. I got the chicken pad thai with a side of peanut sauce with a spicy level of 3. It had a heck of a kick and was very tasty. A 3 was plenty spicy enough and if you are sensitive to spice you will want to tone it down to a 2 or 1. The place upon picking the food up looked like a nice place to sit down and eat also. The portion was large enough that I ate it 3 times and was just as good every time. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Wish I had some to eat right now...yumm! read more

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Had a wide variety of items on the menu. The portions are generous, so my wife and I spilt an appetizer and split meal. We left satisfied. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this establishment. A couple of things to be aware of. The prices are a bit more than I would have expected, but not outrageous. You will definitely pay at least $30 or more for two entrees. For some reason it took a long time for us to get our food. Again, not excessive, but longer than I would have anticipated. It was a Thursday evening about 7pm, so it was busy but not packed. read more

Beware of placing an order for pickup at Teton Thai. We placed a food pickup order today. All food was cold. In addition, I found out there was a 20% "take out" charge added to the bill. I was never made aware of this charge when I asked how much was the bill. Luckily they never asked me to add gratuity on top of these charges. I think a 20% additional charge is ridiculous (on top of all food being cold). We have been long time patrons of Teton Thai. I will definitely need to rethink placing a pickup order in the future. read more

I've been going to Teton Thai infrequently for the last few years. The food is very good, that's not what this review is about. I almost always leave TT feeling full, after truly enjoying my dinner. My ongoing issue with this restaurant is the recent addition of the auto gratuity. The last 3 times I dined there with my significant other, I had a 20% or 25% service charge (fancy for auto gratuity) added onto my bill. I would be less bothered if the hostess or server mentioned it to me, but it has never been mentioned until I bring it up. I work in the service industry so i tend to notice these things, and I find it very misleading that a auto grat is placed on my bill (when it's just myself and 1 other person, a large group I would understand) and I'm not informed of it, and then given my bill with a receipt suggesting I tip on top of the auto grat. Simply disappointing actions from a restaurant I previously really enjoyed. read more

We came here on a Saturday night at 6. Any later and we probably would've had to wait a while. This place got busy quick. It's more of a Vietnamese/ Thai restaurant. I ordered the duck pho which was really good but had forgotten how fatty duck is. I ended up having to pick the fat off the duck pieces. Other than that the soup was great! My husband got the yellow curry at the least spicy rating and it was still pretty spicy!! The green bean appetizer was mediocre. The wonton appetizer was good but the chicken/shrimp feeling was lumped together- tasted very processed. We would probably come here again if we are in town next year. read more

I got a Thai iced tea (one of the best I've had -- mild and creamy) and the special: a yellow curry noodle with salmon (amazingly creamy and flavorful!). Food is great. Tipping policy is BS. They charge 10% on takeout orders automatically but don't show it on the receipt nor make it all that obvious on the website. Then when you show up for your order, there's a big X next to both the signature line and tip line, effectively telling people to leave a tip as though one has not already been added. For 2 years I was inadvertently tipping on the tip. Very unethical in my opinion. read more
