I attended a birthday party here last week and had a great experience. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was lively with great music. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location is beautiful, making it a perfect spot for celebrating with family and friends. Service was a little slower than I personally prefer, but we visited in the middle of the afternoon, so it was understandable. Overall, I'd definitely come back and recommend Texas Borders for a fun gathering or a casual meal.

Colocated with a community center and park, so a great place to take kids. Spacious and modern with a great outdoor area. Tex Mex bar food done well. Service is fast and friendly. The crawfish bisque is highly recommended. The fish tacos were large and flavorful.

Went to their location to enjoy some lunch. I was greeted at the door and chose to sit at a table rather than the bar. My server Mundy was exceptional. I substituted a salad for the fries and everything came out as ordered. The fish and shrimp were well seasoned and a good portion. Everything tasted great. I'll definitely will return.

What we ordered: 3 Ginger Ale Sodas $9.00 1 Large Chips & Queso $10.00 3 Sides of French Fries $15.00 1 20-piece Wings (Blackened) $34.00 -Garlic Parmesan -Hector Habenero 1 20-piece Wings (Blackened) $34.00 -Lemon Pepper -Spicy Honey BBQ 1 Kid Cheeseburger Sliders $8.00 1 Import Bucket $24.00 1 Import Bucket $24.00 Total: $171.04 post-tax plus tip -No refills on soda. $3.00 for a mini can of Ginger Ale seems a bit overkill. -The first and second batch of wings we got had a slight freezer-burn, gamy taste. Aside from the Garlic Parmesan, the other sauces were good. -Fresh-cut French Fries like Beck's Prime would be nice. -No loyalty rewards program or deals for Cane Island residents. -Limited parking during busy hours. A local dining/hang-out option nestled in a nice master planned community. Otherwise, this restaurant is Yelp okay (3-stars) to me but giving it a Good (4-stars) rating hoping that the owners/management take my feedback (above) into consideration.

Patio seating was great, minus all the flies. Server did provider little fly fans which helped a little. Food and drinks were great. No happy hour menu like the other location. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back.

We have been three times since they opened and have enjoyed every visit. What I love most about this restaurant is the management and servers earnestly want to earn and keep your business. One night the owner came to talk with us. The other two times, the Manager Jay, checked in many times. Servers- Beth and Chrissy are awesome. We are thrilled to have a great restaurant in the neighborhood. The food and drinks are good too.

I also like the chicken sandwich. The fish sandwich not too much a fan of it's not enough fish with too much bread. The ranch dressing is also good but not quite to my liking as it is a tad bit watery. The flavor is spot on though! Service is pretty good. They have young teens working in there that are very respectable. The ambience is pretty cool a place that you can go and sit and dine in and enjoy your food watch TV sports, etc. Hands-down will always be my recommendation for a good burger and fries.

The shrimp had way too much breading. The onion rings looked like they'd been swimming in grease; there's no way I could eat them without feeling like I'm raising my cholesterol by the minute. The Cajun fried fish was paper-thin, basically just breading with zero seasoning. As a matter there was absolutely no seasoning on anything. And to top it off, no condiments came with my order. My boyfriend got The Crazy Burger. True to the name, it was chaotic, sloppy, and way too much meat. Overall, the food was greasy, over breaded, bland, and poorly seasoned, and the lack of proper condiments made it a real letdown.

Another pleasant surprise in what I'm going to arbitrarily designate as a brunch fusion menu…read more Firstly, it's a very nice layout. Tables are well spaced plenty of room eight crisp environment really just a very comfortable ambience. The services superlative from the moment you walk in in which you are immediately accommodated to the server who takes an order and then the servers who serve the food which is not necessarily one in the same. It's simply a very efficient service system and very pleasant if you're a customer. You get warm food. In my case I had hollandaise with Salman underlying it, which was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly the hollandaise not by any means obnoxious but a very deliberate Irving and a wonderful salad, which both underlines the egg and is served as a side with the eggs, which were perfectly poached. In so far as the buzz is concerned, there are wines and beer available and really quite an extensive menu in both. I enjoyed a beer with mine, which I know it sounds like an odd combination, but it worked quite well for me. Really this is a wonderful addition to Katy options for breakfast or brunch.

They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday until 330. The brunch menu is huge. It is not a super large menu, which I feel very endearing. We decided to try the bagel and lox with cream cheese, the Buzz burger with fries, and their homemade chips. They start off by bringing you this beautiful craft of bottled water. That to me was an amazing bonus. We also ordered two sodas which came in a can. I sort of wish it was a more of a fountain drink than one can of soda for the price. *Now service was super slow. However, the waitress did come and tell us that they are running a little behind and she apologized for it and she was super sweet, so that made up for the weight. How do I known how long it was going to take, I don't know if I would've stayed, but in the end, the food was amazing. The burger was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend is a hamburger snob and he kept saying how good it was how fresh it was and how perfectly cooked it was. They serve you shoestring fries that feel like they're double fried and they were phenomenal. My bagel was toasted perfectly and had a very good amount of cream cheese and lox. As a Jewish girl living in the area that I do, it's very hard to find good bagels with lox and cream cheese. I will most definitely be back for this sooner than later. The homemade chips took quite a while to come out, and at one point I was ready to say we don't need it, but these potato chips beat Buccees beaver chips, 100%. They were super fresh and very crunchy and tasted amazing. I will definitely recommend those to anybody that orders some. My boyfriend then ordered a tropical sunrise smoothie and it was so tasty and tasted like a strawberry banana smoothie. Now once again that did take a long time to come out and at one point, we were wishing we had not ordered it but once we did get it, it was really good and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is not very large and it's the perfect brunch spot for anybody looking for a smaller Cafe with very good choices.

Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more.

They have weekly specials as well as daily specials for drinks. Such as a $5 all-day drink menu I love coming here for lunch and dinner with my sisters. My favorite appetizer to order is the onion rings. They are HUGE and CRISPY; I think they use a tempura batter that is super light, not heavy/thick, which gives them that extra crisp. You can do full orders or half orders, which is perfect if you don't want too many We have tried many things, so I will break down what we have ordered. Pepperoni Pizza: - Pizza was actually really good, perfect for sharing. I really liked it The Combo App that comes with Crooked Cheese, Fried Pickles, and Boneless Wings: -Crooked Cheese: is their version of mozzarella cheese sticks. This one is a hit with my sisters. - Fried Pickles: Omg, so good and so crisp; these were perfect! -Boneless Wings (garlic parmesan): Crispy and juicy, the flavor was on point. This item was also a big hit for even my picky eater sisters Chicken Tender Dinner with 2 sides: -Chicken Tenders: Juicy and crispy; I believe the plate comes with 5 tenders. In my opinion, this plate is perfect for sharing, especially since it comes with two sides -French Fries (side): WE LOVE THE FRIES HERE! Highly recommend getting a side of fries -Side salad: I love this salad so much, I order it every time I come here. It comes with tomatoes, egg, onion, and these crispy potato strings that add the perfect crunch! Always order this with a side of ranch 14 oz Signature Ribeye with 2 sides: -Ribeye: This steak is HUGE and JUICY. Seasoned very well. I like to order this with sauteed mushrooms and onions. I love that they give you the option for gravy or no gravy and options to load them up with bacon and cheese $10 Burger Special on Mondays: -The Burgers here are huge! You can get a Burger and a side of fries or tots for $10. You also have the option to have your fries/tots loaded with cheese or bacon Bubba's Lasagna: - I would say this is our least favorite item. It's not bad, but it's not the best lasagna. I felt it was very basil-forward with the sauce. The dish itself didn't stand out to me Cheesecake: Cheesecake is solid; love the graham cracker crust As far as service, it can be hit or miss depending on who you have. I have had days where our server is consistently checking in on us, and I have had days where it felt like ages to get a refill on a drink. But Food quality has always been consistent. So we decided to try the burgers during this trip. I will say this, I will never order another burger at this restaurant. We are huge fans of fresh hamburgers, and we always try them at most restaurants that we go to. So we got a Hickory burger, a bacon cheeseburger, and a regular cheeseburger. All of our burgers were well done to the point that they were hard to chew and they were not tasty. Normally at this restaurant, food comes out very quickly, but this time it did take a little longer and now I know why. I was very disappointed in all of the burgers and how they were really way too well done. The restaurant was super busy and we should've said something, but we did not because we had been waiting so long. We just did not want to wait any longer. The french fries were super hot and fresh, I will give them that. I think at this point, we will stick to the chicken tenders because those are super good, but the burgers were not good at all. Again, we really enjoy this restaurant, but we are going to stick to what we normally order. If you order a burger at Mia's table, make sure you tell them that you want it done medium, and not well done. Other than this experience, we have always loved the food there and you get free ice cream after your meal. We highly recommend the chicken tenders and the baked beans are phenomenal. The green beans are great. The banana pudding is great and the staff is super friendly.
