Excellent food & craft beer! We ordered cheeseburgers & fries which were fresh and delicious. Everything was well seasoned and came out pretty fast after we ordered. There are so many beers on the menu we decided to order two flights to be able to try more of the beers styles. They were very good. The decor is pleasant and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful answering questions and offering opinions. For non beer drinkers they also have wine, sangria and hard seltzer. This place was great. Seems they had a beer for every palate and margaritas. I had the blonde ale and it was pretty good. We also had appetizers, we had the loaded tater tots and the fries. They were really good. The only downside was the temperature in the building, it was pretty warm in there. They need a better working A/C unit. Hope they make it, great little place. read more

We went there for an early evening meal on a Saturday. When my wife and I arrived, the place was not very busy but soon got that way within about 10 minutes. The food was ok but didn't set off any "this is great" bells. It took forever to get my beer, since the bartender was not only running food to customers at the bar, and THEN pouring drinks, beers, etc We don't spend a lot of time in Blanco, and we probably won't spend anymore time at this brewery.... The service was slow at best. The food when it finally got to our table 4 out of the 9 plates of food was cold. when brought to their attention the management blamed it on the server. We can for burgers across the street from here but when we got out of the truck and smelled the BBQ we changed our minds. The brisket was juice and perfectly cooked and nice sized slices on the sandwich. The chopped BBQ was so good too. Pickles and onions available too were good. The potato salad was really good too. We dropped in for lunch with the family on a road trip, and felt very welcomed by the staff. We always seek out local brewpubs, and this one has a nice small town feel. Good variety in both their food and beer menus. They were very friendly and accommodating for the kiddos. read more

Stopped by here with our friends who are local to the area. We were visiting them from out of town. It was a very nice place to stop by and have a beer and some appetizers. Staff was friendly and accommodating (my teenage son wanted a playoff hockey game on the tv and staff didn't give up until they got it on for him!) We stopped by before checking into our Air BnB looking for some good beer. We found some good beer but also found a pretty incompetent waitress that put a damper on our visit (hence the 3 stars, 4 stars if we didn't have her). We did some flights to try everything and then had pints of our favorites. We also tried their pretzels and cheese. It was fine, pretty dry and the cheese was just basic nacho cheese. We can't vouch for any other food. But the beer was good. Back to the waitress, we asked her about the brewery, how long they've been around, if the gentleman at the bar was a brewer and just general info about the beers and food. She didn't know much and the gentleman was just a helper even she said he was the brewer. If she didn't know she didn't go and find out so we were just left wondering about some food items and why she wasn't willing to help us. Overall, I would go back for the beer, but absolutely sit at the bar so we don't have the chance to get her table again. read more

Inside area is nice and clean and out of the heat! Ordered the fish tacos which were very good except the tortilla on both tacos ripped, if they doubled up it wouldn't be an issue. The beer was OK not the best but the Independence was a pretty good stout beer. The seafood basket was pretty sad. The quantity of fish to fries was sad. Great food and brew! Service is Texas-friendly and atmosphere is perfect. We sat on the patio to split the burger, coastal fries and topped it off with hot scrumptious peach cobbler. My daughter had a burger and I tried a bite after she said it wasn't wry good. I would compare it to a cheap fast food burger. I've had better at whataburger for half the price. My family and I visit Texas Cannon every other week. It's a wonderful family faun atmosphere, with amazing food. My favorite is the southwest egg rolls! My kids pretty much eat everything on the menu. The beer is awesome, no matter your preference there is something on the menu for you! Give them a try!! read more

I've have been here more than 15 times and I will not go back. The owners daughters work here and will argue and there will be a hour wait on food.
