    Delectable garlic knots
    Nick M.

Often stop at this restaurant when passing through the area and it is always good. The garlic knots are so flavorful and perfectly cooked and are excellent. The New York style pizza is great and we saw a Chicago style pizza on the table next to us that look good as well.

Great location right on the square and small town pizza shop vibe. Good food, a little slow on the service but it was a busy night. Friendly staff and good selection. Chicago pizza was a little cold in the center and could have used more cook time. Kids liked Alfredo pizza and Alfredo pasta.

Pizza was hot and delicious. The sandwiches were equally as good. Garlic knots took a bit to be served so they comped them without us asking them to because they came out with the meal and not before. The garlic knots were fresh and soft also. Very busy place!

The service was fast for being packed. The pizza rolls are super good, and garlic knots great. Everything about the place is amazing. Of course the pizza slams. Love this place

Hardly any toppings. Better off buying a frozen at grocery store and cooking yourself

Had a large Carnivor Pizza. Was very good! Beer was cold and service was great. Sometimes doing the simple things right is all it takes!!!

"Cute, nice, fun- it was very good Italian country food and I thought it was great." - my wife…read more I would be forced to agree with the opinion stated above Alla Campagna, or Italian for "to the countryside" was a delightful wine bar bistro. The ambience was tasteful and approachable like if somebody's grandmother ran a delightful restaurant that you'd actually want to visit. The service was trying their best Seemed pretty understaffed, but everything was fast and they were quite courteous. We had the focaccia which was stupendous, came with some wonderful dipping options after a glass of local red and a sparkling water we were served our main course, the wild boar Ragu what can I say about this? The homemade noodles were a true delight sauce was perfect and light in the bore... Oh, the bore. The tender amazing bore took me to flavor heaven I couldn't get enough. And of course, we saved a slice of focaccia to wipe everything up at the end. If you come across a bad review, you will probably see that it is a somewhat uneducated tasteless patron that's probably just twisted up about it being " too expensive " or that the " service was slow " so dear reader rest assured this is not your friendly neighborhood chilies this is something much much better.

We arrived at 6 to a little populated dining room. We were sat next to the window with the sun shining directly in our faces. The did close the curtains fryer I moved my chair to the side of the two top which was nice. We ordered the Insalata Alla Campana which had zero flavor. We asked if the could split and we were told the kitchen doesn't split plates. I would not recommend! We then ordered the roasted garlic and ricotta cheese meatballs and the Tuscan bean soup. If you go order two bowls of the Tuscan bean soup because it is amazing!1 I forgot our drinks. Hubs ordered the Fortunate Verde which was $17 dollars and very much over priced and a glass of the Rose which was mediocre at best. Our total bill was $80 before tip for appetizers and two drinks. This was a swing and a miss for us.

Picturesque! Cheers from Tuscany !…read more Bravo! This restaurant was well worth the drive. Trattoria felt like an escape to Tuscany. The outside and inside is a knod to Tuscany. I enjoyed my time here. Don't forget to get some gelato on your way out. The service was spectacular and the waiter was so knowledgeable about the menu . Now, let's get into what I ate. Appetizers: Bread- I'm not sure what the proper name for the bread is, but it was so good. The bread was like a warm hug. It had a welcoming taste. I can't even explain it fully. The texture was phenomenal. It was like a cornbread and a roll put together. Artichoke fritters- This dish surprised me. I didn't expect to like it so much. It was fried to perfection and flavorful. I honestly didn't need the sauce . Meatballs- The meatballs were the best I've had in my life. They were covered in a well prepared sauce. Entrée: Snapper with pesto pasta- My snapper was very flavorful. The only downfall of the snapper was the size. For the price, I expected a whole snapper. The pasta was good, but I'm not a huge fan of pasta. I also ordered brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were cooked very well. Dessert: Biscoff and almond gelato - This was a perfect ending to to a wonderful meal. The gelato flavors change often. I will definitely go again!

For most pasta dishes, I'd hit Mandola's in Austin. Save about $10 an entree and some gas money. A few weeks ago I didn't want to venture too far off the ranch. Wife and I ended up at Lisina on Saturday. Calamari to start was crisp and not chewy. Caesar salad followed and was a nice example of the dish. Lisina is also a little skimpy on offering bread refills. We finished with drinks and the panna cotta. Just over $100 for this experience. WELL, the next day I needed to take mom out for her anniversary. Dad has long passed but I always try to do something special. Sunday highlights forthcoming. This time with mom and Rooster along we started with the carpaccio. The presentation really wowed because it looks like red plate until you realize all that color is shaved tenderloin. White plate underneath! The greens, parmesan, and aioli was one of the best I've had. Mom went for the gnocchi; Rooster goes for the Mezzaluna ravioli. This is now Rooster's fave restaurant. I went back to the appetizers section and selected the crab cake. Zero complaints on these dishes. Don't forget mom's wine. Gelato and cake to finish the meal. I think I've dined here once since my 2009 review. Yup, steak pics still accounted for on Yelp. Trattoria Lisina is still going strong in Driftwood. Expect $$$$, this meal was almost $300. Good food ain't cheap folks.

It had a vintage/rustic Italian decor with some super laid back vibes. We had a friendly welcome and were sat right away. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Our server was far less than charming and worse, was incompetent. I truly wondered if she were somehow impaired. She didn't respond when we ordered and seemed put-out when we asked if she understood. Turned out the wine my wife ordered was no longer available (so why was it still on your menu?). My wife made an alternate order, but instead of getting a glass of what she ordered, the village idiot came back with a bottle totally unrelated to what my ordered and offered that. My wife politely refused, I got my beer and my wife got nothing. OK, maybe they needed to open a bottle and it would be out soon. But no. The so called server didn't reappear until our food was ready. At that point, my wife asked about her wine again. The waitress, Andrea, then said, "I thought you said no to wine". Well, my wife did finally get her wine after the fight. Now for the food. In the past, it has always been excellent. But today's offering was sub-standard. We both ordered the chicken Parmesan from the lunch menu. The menu said the chicken was hand breaded. It was not and the marinara was basically tomato sauce with with bits of tomato in it. By far the worst food we've ever been served there. Il Posto, today you failed miserably. And I would remind you that you have two restaurants on either side of you with excellent chefs. You may want to keep that in mind before serving us Stouffers to dine on.
