I cannot comment on the quality of repairs performed by this shop because I ultimately chose not to have the vehicle repaired there. However, I believe consumers should be aware that I was required to sign a repair authorization before the shop would prepare an estimate for my insurance claim. My vehicle was non-operational and was brought in for evaluation. The shop concluded the clutch was the source of the problem and began extensive body teardown work as part of the estimation process. After the vehicle was returned to me, I had the transmission removed and the clutch components were found to be largely intact. The actual problem appears to have been internal engine damage rather than a clutch failure. What surprised me most was the extent of the teardown performed before I understood what would be involved. At one point, major body panels had been removed from the vehicle even though no repair work had been authorized beyond the estimate process. After I raised concerns with both the shop and my insurance company, all charges were waived and the vehicle was reassembled and returned to me. The truck appears to have been put back together properly and in substantially the same condition it was in before the teardown. Based on my experience, I would recommend that customers ask detailed questions about what authorizations are being requested, what teardown work may be performed during the estimating process, and whether the shop is performing a body estimate, a mechanical diagnosis, or both. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Texas Collision Centers! Some idiot hit my car, which was almost paid off, and I was devastated. I was so worried it was going to be totaled out, but Texas Collision Centers took amazing care of my car! They fixed everything perfectly and updated me every step of the way. Dustin was absolutely amazing and so incredibly helpful. I felt so at ease knowing my car was being taken care of by people that really seemed to care. Technician Josh arrived, a very easy going, yet knowledgeable young man. We went out to my vehicle, and looked over some power mirrors options. Back inside the nice comfortable office, with the internet, Josh was able to locate parts, get quotes, and process a worksheet estimate. This place is so awesome!!! It's clean, the staff are friendly, and they have free vending machines!! I had my car taken in here after I got rear ended and they got me all fixed up. My car got hailed on while at the shop, and they fixed that as well. I worked with Josh and he was super responsive and always kept me updated. He's also super kind! When I picked up my car, he said the battery had been dying and explained why and he lent me his own personal jumper box. I had to get a new battery and the shop reimbursed me for that. Wow! I haven't ever had to go to a body shop so I can't compare it to anything, but friends have told me that many are no good and they're very impressed with this one. One of the worst things that can happen is when your child gets into a car accident. Well my son got into a car accident. The first person I called was my insurance agent and he walked me through everything. He told me that I can take my car anywhere and I started looking for collision places. Before I even got my claim number, I started calling collision places. I remember Texas Collision when they first opened a couple years ago because I drive by it every day. My husband and I decided to walk in and ask them how long it would take for me to get an appointment. The ladies at the front desk were so welcoming and super sweet. They told me everything I needed to know. They even gave me a date before they even looked at my car. So the next day I decided to go with them because they made me feel so welcomed. Although they gave me a date that was three weeks out they kept me posted with any cancellations. They had a cancellation and they took me in right away. I went in and met with the agent, Matt. He was awesome and he explained everything to me and kept me posted every single day on the update of my car. He answered all the questions I had and made sure I was clear on everything. DO NOT USE! i took my car to them for repairs based on a preferred status on elephant insurance. this is our family car and i asked for all known parts to be in store when i dropped the car off. i was assured they were all in and dropped my car... come to find out many parts weren't even ordered. this added undue time to my repair. 2 months later i was hearing a weird noise coming from the engine. after hearing them tell me 3 times it was nothing, i took it to my infiniti dealer and they found that there was only 1/4 of the transmission fluid replaced when a part was repaired. they did admit fault and paid for the repairs. now i again sit with no car... after a check engine light came on, the infiniti dealer told me a electric harness needs repair ($7,000) and it was shorted because of frayed wires behind a front headlamp that was replaced... either the wired were frayed upon repair or missed in the original accident estimate. they will not return the calls form my insurance to try and get this added to the claim and i am going on 4 weeks with no car... this company is a nightmare to deal with... stay away. read more

I originally chose this place to get my car fixed after a collision because of the reviews. The repairs were originally quoted to take three weeks and then they pushed it back to four weeks and now currently the repairs are estimated to take over five weeks. Apparently they ordered the wrong parts for my vehicle, which pushed back the repair date even further. My insurance stopped covering my rental vehicle, which is leaving me without a vehicle and this repair shop has done nothing to reduce the burden they created by ordering incorrect parts.This place is amateur at best , lacks attention to detail, and has suboptimal customer service. read more
