Avoid! Horrible Horrible Horrible service. Can't speak for the food because the service was horrible enough to make us leave. The front end can't run a restaurant, the management does not seem to care to deal with patrons. Reservations don't mean anything, those with reservations still wait 45min to an hour. After 2 hours of waiting walked up to hostess told her my party and I are leaving and suddenly we had a table, we left not wanting to give the patronage to this establishment. Avoid. I love Texas de Brazil, the restaurant is great. The staff is very friendly and are there to always help. If you have any allergies they can make any of the foods accustomed to you. My dad doesn't like to much salt on his meat, so they made all of the meats without a lot of salt. All of the food comes around and you have a card that says yes on one side and no on the other side so the servers will know when you want something. The service is fast. But the only downfall is the cost. I highly recommend, the food is great and so is the atmosphere. read more

Finally a Brazilian steakhouse experience I was happy with! Unlike my last experience (at the Albany, NY location 2 years ago), the Buffalo crew got it right. The salad bar (which I didn't want to waste stomach space on) was fully stocked, and every cut of meat promised on the menu was offered at least twice. More importantly you could request that a certain cut be brought over, rather than have to wait for the luck of the draw. We only have 2 complaints and they're minor ones. Because the filet cuts were so small but were grilled the same length of time as the larger cuts, they arrived medium well rather than medium rare, not a good thing for filet. Every other cut was medium rare as promised. Also, despite seeing multiple empty tables we were not seated until about 10 minutes after our reservation time; for a table of just 2. Underwhelmed is an understatement. I have read somewhere that the slaed bar was loaded with seafood...that wasn't true. There was shrimp and cold salmon. Both were not very good. The soup was a joke....lobster bisque had NO I mean absolutely no pieces of lobster and was disgustingly salty!!!! The bacon wrapped filet was so dry and well done we couldn't eat it. The leg of lamb was the same story...too well done and dry with no condiments to go with it nor the hope of any. The side dish was salty mashed potatoes and a strange banana. The chicken..dry. The only meat that was bearable was the short rib. Maybe it was because it was a Sunday night that the food was terrible but there are too many fabulous restaurants in Buffalo, NY to be bothered with a restaurant that serves such poor quality food at a premium. I pre-plan this dinner for Toey for our 10 month anniversary. I wanted to take her to the Brasa Steakhouse on the Niagara Falls Canada side, but did not have a passport, well I'm glad we came here instead. We made reservations, so we get there, the place was only a few months old and it was packed on a Sunday. So we Goto bar, we order glass of wine, then they seat right away. We start with salad bar. I LOVED the lobster bisque soup...yummmmy. I probably went up there at least 10 times for refills. Like all the assorted cheese. So onto main meal. They first came out with fillet. Gave a little slice to my girlfriend, she looked at me and said" is yet all I'm getting?" I laughed and said no honey, it's all you can eat...that's the funniest expression coming from her face. So we think we went through all the 16 assorted meat. Our favorite was the rack of lamb...very flavorful. Some of the meat was a little salty, no big deal, like the ambience and making my girlfriend so happy :-) was so important to me. Since it was our 10 month anniversary, they gave option a toast of Champagne or cake. We took the chocolate cake, so good and it was free. I also sign up on the email and got $25 off. What a deal and great service. I hope they open one up in Cincinnati one of theses days. read more

I've never been to a place quite like this where they deliver the meats directly to the table and open "bar" for any salad, cheese, fruit, or soup that you'd like. I loved the lobster bisque... So creamy and delightful! The hearts of palm were just amazing (first time ever having them and now I dream about them) .... Their "butter ball biscuits" (idk if that's what they are really called since they just come with the meal) are amazing! One of my main highlights. New to the Brazilian Steakhouse idea, but glad I gave it a try. This place is meant for those that love meat. We started with a drink at the bar and the extensive wine and liquor list is impressive. My friend had the coconut mandarin mojito that was perfect. Once at our table it was explained this we start with an amazing salad starter bar that includes lobster bisque that was out of this world. When ready for the main course they bring mashed potatoes family style and carve nearly 20 kinds of grilled meats right at the table, all cooked perfectly. Try this out if you like meat! We ate at Texas De Brazil in Buffalo NY for a Birthday celebration. The Salad Bar was very good with many fresh selections from salads to shrimp and salmon. The meats that were served were ok. We thought that many of the seasonings in the crust on the meat were very salty, and depending on the meat the taste and tenderness ranged from good (4 stars) to tough and not good (1 star). The Filet Mignon and Flank Steak were the best, and the Leg of Lamb the worst. Almost everything was very salty. It was nice to try once, but I don't think we will be back. read more

I was impressed with some of the buffet items, especially the spiced shrimp. The range of meats offered was very nice, unfortunately with the exception of the bacon wrapped meats, almost everything was heavily oversalted. Unless i missed it on the buffet , i would rather have had some chimi churri than all the salt. Gluttony at its finest! If you've never been to one before, I would suggest not eating for the entire day before going. They have a huge salad, cheese and charcuterie station along with soups and breads. The selection is wonderful and very fresh--not at all like the typical salad bar. During an hour there I was someone tending, updating and cleaning the area at least 4 times and this was 9:00 at night too -- not the middle of dinner hour. It's not a cheap meal - about $44 each to start and when adding in drinks, wine, or dessert (although I don't know how you could eat dessert after the meal) you're in for a good $120 for two. They have a good wine selection with some moderately priced selections at $32-40 per bottle and up from there. The meat was absolutely amazing and they just keep coming and coming. You can ask the servers to bring around something in particular that you liked as well. Great meal but be warned--you will walk away stuffed and asking yourself why you ate so much! We had a reservation and were seated promptly when we arrived. Our server came and asked what drinks we wanted. Hubby ordered a beer and I ordered a diet coke. We were halfway done with our dinner and had to ask our server three times before we finally got our drinks. We never got a menu and were only offered mashed potatoes and plantains as sides, so I had to check their website to find out that there were more options for sides... We ordered fries as an additional side, all sides arrived cold. Meat was good although the leg of lamb was borderline to being too salty and the filet mignon was cold. Salad was good, pretty good variety and fresh. We ordered two creme brulees for dessert which had A LOT of cinnamon, so much that I couldn't finish mine and I like cinnamon... I found four creme brulees on our check which was corrected when I told our server. Overall we were sort of disappointed with our dining experience at Texas de Brazil and will definitely not return. Everything we tried was good, a little salty, and the idea of the place (men walking around with meat-filled swords) is different. We had a reservation and they seated us about a half hour late. First off, our server was absolutely the best. I left the restaurant in a great mood because of his exceptional service. The prices are a little on the expensive side, but it's all you can eat. What a RIPOFF tonight. We arrived at the restaurant and found they had no heat. It was 14 degrees outside and inside was maybe 50 degrees. We were told that they had space heaters and that the room would warm up. NO IT DID NOT. The Manager did not even come to the table and apologize. When we asked the wait staff they told us the HVAC system needed a part and it would not be there till later this week. They did not reduce our bill, or even offer us fee desert. We spend over $260 and I walked out feeling like I was just stolen from. If the manager even made a comment on the way out that he was sorry, it would have been something. HE DID NOT. The food was absolutely amazing, the variety of food they had there was amazing, we had anything from chicken wrapped in bacon to filet mignon with some salad and bananas. And then for dessert they have quite a selection! They bring you plastic models of their desserts and it's a unique way of doing things but I definitely think it helped decide from the number of different desserts they had. And then getting to the service, I can't complain about anything. Our waiter, Cody, was amazing. He came to bring us more water or ask if we needed anything at the perfect times. He was also a very polite and well behaved young man. I was very impressed! And also the people who brought the different foods to the table were all super polite as well. Its very pricey, our waitresses was friendly she was the only thing I liked about the place, the meat service was awful 2 ppl in our party requested they're meat well done and I swear we only got about 5 cuts of meat. The salad bar was nothing to write home about it was bacon there but had sat out for so long it was full of grease so needless to say we won't be returning. I had never been to a Brazilian restaurant where they come by and cut off meat for you at the table. My best advice...come hungry!! Everything was fantastic and great quality. We came here for our anniversary and we were definitely pleased with the service. The buffet has many options, but nothing too exciting. The various cuts of meat was the best part, there was a lot to choose from and for the most part it was all pretty good. The way they serve the food is unique and gives the place a nice touch. Our waiter was pretty attentive, no complaints there. I most likely would not return and the reason being the price is not worth the amount of food I can eat at once. My husband and I love Brasa which is across the border in NF. We were excited to try Texas de Brazil since it's so much closer. The salad bar was just ok, did not have very many hot appetizer choices (like brasa) and there was only romaine lettuce and croutons to make a salad. Everything else was pickled or in oil. And lobster bisque without any lobster AT ALL in it?? Our waitress was exceptional, I will say that! I really felt like the gauchos serving the meat were personality-less. At Brasa, they are all bustling around and are everywhere! Here they just kinda slowly sauntered around. The meats were good... The pichana was the best offering. And we LOVED the bananas they bring to the table! One of my HUGE pet peeves in a restaurant, especially at $45 pp, is when ordering a soda. They bring a small little bottle with a glass of ice for almost $4. Come on... Ridiculous. We were seated in the back room which is why I think we lost some of the "atmosphere" and experience. My experience here was phenominal. The meats were amazing, especially the flank and the fillet. The chicken and the pork could of been better but the steaks and lamb was out of this world. You get a salad bar with it with pretty unique items such as goat cheese, fresh buffalo mozz, fire roasted peppers, sushi, etc which was good, the lobster bisque was great.
