My experience at Texas Roadhouse was absolutely horrific. Immediately upon entering the establishment, the host tried to blast me with her laser eyes, which I narrowly avoided. However, I cannot say the same for the customer behind me, who exploded upon impact, leaving a complete bloody mess, ruining my shirt. Overall an awful first impression. And my food wasn't any better. My steak was completely raw, practically still mooing and trying to leap off of my plate; the green beans were all moist and wet and tasted like ass; and the fries were literally frozen and absolutely inedible. Not to mention I could hear the chefs arguing with each other the whole entire night, and I'm pretty sure I even heard multiple fights break out in the kitchen, with someone even leaving on a stretcher at one point in the night. Shit was crazy. Overall my experience here was, again, horrific, and I would normally give Texas Roadhouse one star. If it weren't for my server, Taylor, who was the absolute saving grace of this horrible night. She is without a doubt one of the greatest servers to ever grace the industry. She was incredibly attentive and kind and made a horrible night into an absolute dream. She even at one point in the night fought a dragon that was attacking the restaurant with her bare hands. Avoiding its fire breath all while riding her skateboard and hitting 360 kickflips and chewing bubblegum. She eventually picked up a rocket launcher, stuck it in the dragon's mouth, and said, "You're fired," before blowing it to smithereens. Everyone in the restaurant clapped, and then she immediately came back to my table and asked if there was anything I needed. Unbelievable service. She deserves to not only be the highest-paid member of the company but also to be given the reins to the company entirely. I left her a $1000 tip, which I believe should be the bare minimum from anyone who is blessed with Taylor as their server. God bless her. read more

Our monthly "girls gone dining!!l commenced at Texas Roadhouse. Amazingly this was my first visit to the highly rated restaurant. It was a Thursday evening, & the place was super busy/ a good sign. They do not take reservations, but we were seated after waiting only about 15 minutes. The restaurant is large, rustic, & high energy! Our server placed rolls with cinnamon butter as soon as we were seated. Also a bag of peanuts in the shell/ all complimentary . The rolls were fresh, the butter good, not overly sweet. Our server, Michael arrived & took our orders for drinks. After perusing the menu, I was hankering for ribs, .decided on the half rack, you can choose from an ample list of sides/ 2 per dinner. And there's a special menu offer/ $13.99 dinners, served before 6pm- very budget friendly. My ribs did not disappoint , very tender, falling off the bone, well seasoned.. I ordered a baked potato & fresh veggies/ carrots & broccoli. My friends enjoyed steaks & chicken critters( breaded chicken fingers) the house salad was very generous & looked delicious! I was very happy with my rib dinner/ definitely agreed with all the positive comments I'd read & heard. My only complaint was the loud music/made it somewhat difficult to have a conversation, & the table/ booth for the 4 of us seemed a bit crowded. I'd also suggest giving diners who order ribs, a packet or two of hand wipes.. those sticky yummy ribs were "finger lickin'good!!" It's Texas Roadhouse! Of course it's going to be amazing. We visited this location for the first time while staying at the Seneca Hotel & Casino. It was either that, or we were crossing the border into Canada for dinner lol - there's not much around. Texas Roadhouse did not disappoint. I love Texas roadhouse. Even if their food likes their dinner rolls with the honey cinnamon butter makes up for it in every way possible. I don't think I've ever went there and left without having two full trays of those rolls. I have never been assaulted by salt as much as I was in that steak. it was cooked right, served beautifully- it was inedible. Not to mention the side orders were disgusting. You can't really mess up a baked potato so that was fine but the broccoli was just about rotten -yet it was served. The service was fine. I really need to come here more often but it's the wait that deters me and my removal of one star. It's always a wait - but this particular night it was insane. We requested a table an hour and 20 minutes before arrival (estimated wait was an hour and 15 minutes). We weren't actually seated for 2 hours. I wish they would either expand the size or allow reservations. It's a consistent issue. That being said, I was in good company. Four of us sat in a car to avoid the insane crowd waiting to be seated and out of the rain outside. We enjoyed great conversation and laughs that helped the time pass - I wouldn't typically wait so long otherwise. We met 2 other friends inside and we were FINALLY seated. The rolls were bright immediately and were heavenly as usual! Drinks were brought pretty fast. But the food itself was, once again, a LONG wait. Our waitress was thanking us for being so kind (I can only imagine she had dealt with some frustrated people). Again, I was in good company so I didn't mind the wait and we had rolls to hold us over. You can also have a bag of peanuts (no more barrels of peanuts). A friend at the table ordered the fried pickles and shared. They were really yummy, especially with the dip. I personally ordered the critter salad. I got both the Italian dressing and honey mustard ... both were delicious! And it was quite filling - I actually had some left before tapping out! It had been a while since I've last been here. This is a fast moving place. We were early at 4:30 but, it doesn't seem to matter. This joint is always jumping. We checked in and assumed our position on the bench. Within 5 minutes we were called and ushered to our table, complete with those sinful rolls. Our server Maddie(sp) introduced herself alongside a shadow server and promptly brought drinks and...more rolls. There are peanuts on the table in a bag so, we indulged in them. She gave us a few minutes, returned and took the order. Nothing ever seems to take much time here. My 16oz strip was cooked beautifully rare with the addition of mushrooms and onions. The side Caesar salad was brought beforehand like an appetizer and was delicious. My sweet potato was doused in that decadent honey cinnamon butter like the rolls, that kept coming. Our waitress checked in and kept us in drinks. Everything was delicious. My favorite part was when she dropped the check. She obviously recognized us as being of a certain age and most likely couldn't navigate the table device used to pay. She took charge, showed us how it worked and essentially did it for us. Thanks for that. It made the whole experience seamless and insured the fact I'll return. For those concerned about parking, this location, in a plaza, has more parking than a stadium! My waiting time was as I expected, being 35min-1hr and after a 25 minute drive I had about 16 minutes, on a Friday night, busy as always and relatively nice and lively. My drinks a mocktail and sprite were perfect and both tasty and arrived in a timely manner. My server ally was a sweet and very professional person who would come to check on me every about 10 minutes, I am impressed. My chicken critters tasted lovely however the presentation wasn't the best, but again it was late into the night and it was rather busy. However! My ribs were cold and tasted rather mediocre, but I can excuse it as a simple time mistake in the kitchen. However, ally my server was lovely and kind, her looking at the menu to help me see which option of ribs would cost me less. If I had more money I would have tipped her better. read more

I ordered the portebello mushroom chicken breast with mash and fries (yes double starch). My compadre ordered the fish and chips. Now before you say anything yes we both came to a steak joint to order something other than steak. My dish was salty and pretty basic. Not at all what I expected. There is a reason this place is always packed. Good food, large portions, good service. A well trained wait staff. A heavy steak knife, appropriate to the task, decent cuts of meat. Reasonable prices. If you don't call ahead, you're going to wait for well over an hour. Even with calling ahead, we still waited 30 minutes. Our waitress, Hailley was pleasant and attentive. A great experience overall! The food was good. I did order my steak medium rare to medium well, but it came out more well than medium. Not a big deal because the steak was still incredibly tender, so I didn't say anything. It tasted GREAT! I got Big Texas Combo and chose to have the 8oz sirloin and ribs with a salad and seasoned rice. My server was equally amazing. She was attentive and made sure the table of 7 was happy often. She did a great job! The place is always a fun atmosphere and I love the music. A lot of birthdays seemed to be happening as the crew was singing a lot today at tables. All in all I'd go back. First time here last night, had a great time and a great steak dinner! My buddy noticed that CoinStar machines provide full value for change in the form of gift certificates for various places and Texas Roadhouse is one of them. (Up to $100 value, which is what we had.) On a rainy Thursday afternoon just before 5pm, the place was full with more diners arriving. Wait time was maybe 5 minutes, which was terrific. Ordered a double whiskey and coke and my buddy had a couple beers. The double whiskey was on point. Of course you are seated with your fresh baked, warm rolls, refilled as you desire. I lost count of how many I ate. We both ordered the NY strip, mine medium, his rare, I had baked potato and house salad, my buddy had the sweet potato with cinnamon butter and Cesar salad. By the time we finished the salads the steaks arrived. Both perfectly grilled to the requested temperature. For such a large building with so many seating areas, it's pleasant and inviting while being busy and constantly bustling. Worth noting, we didn't notice any staff who appeared over 30! The crew of young adults does a fantastic job keeping this place running smoothly. I was impressed. For those who ever think a younger generation can't be skilled, check out how this place hops. Polite, friendly, professional - this is always something I notice and appreciate. The bill was just a few bucks over a hundred. For 2 perfect and delicious steak dinners, one mixed drink, one soda and 2 beers, that's really not bad. Went here on a date with my fiance a few months ago and just now getting around to making this review because we were more than upset. He orders the largest steak he can (I can't remember the cut now), and it is literally all fat. No exaggeration he ate MAYBE two bites. Cliff, the owner, was VERY rude when we told him this, and thinks somehow an appetizer card is going to solve a completely inedible EXPENSIVE steak. Cactus Blossom 10/10 Good flavor on the batter. Dipping sauce was really good. Bit of spice, but not too crazy. Filet - medium 7/10 Came out rare, mostly raw still in the center. we had to send it back to get cooked longer. Wish I took a photo. That is the only reason for it being a 7. Once it came back it was cooked to a perfect medium with a warm pink center. Very tender and seasoned well. No steak sauce needed 20oz Bone in Ribeye Steak- medium rare 9/10 Came out perfect. Great flavor of meat and great seasonings. No steak sauce needed. Loaded Mashed potatoes 8/10 Little bit bland, but these are actually pretty good once you mix everything together better. I would get these as my side every time. Buttered corn 8/10 Sweet, not really buttery, but there is a lot of corn juices. Needs a little salt too. Good mixed in the mashed potatoes as well. Kids are pretty picky. My little sister is 9 and a vegetarian, so she got the veg dish with 4 sides. She did not like the green beans, or the rice. I took my daughter here for her birthday. Our server was Alexia. She was nice and provided good service. We ordered the cactus blossom, 2 steak dinners, and salads for our side. Our food was good. The reason I gave the service only 3 stars was because we felt very rushed. We were seated at a table for two, which was fine except that they were bringing out our food basically within minutes apart, which was overcrowding our table. We barely started eating the cactus blossom when our salads arrived. Our steaks came out probably 5min after our salads. She asked if she could take anything for us to make room on our table, but of course we said no. We had barely touched any of our food. We did eat and finish our steaks. More than half of our salads had to be thrown away, and we took the cactus blossom home in two containers because we didn't have time to eat much of it. I truly feel that we were rushed. This was a mother daughter date, and unfortunately we didn't have much time to spend together to catch up on life and enjoy one another's conversations. It was really disappointing. Our food was good, and cooked perfectly, so there are no issues there. I'm not sure that I will go back. Even though our food was good, I expect to relax and enjoy my dinner, especially when I'm spending $80 on the two of us.
