Came here for dinner tonight and had a great experience. The food was good, nothing to go crazy about, but the service, wow. Anytime we needed anything we could just flag down the nearest employee and ask for assistance and they would immediately make sure we were taken care of. My dad was even raising his hands trying to get our servers attention and the manager saw and literally sprinted over to help us haha. 10/10 service. The food was good, and I like how many options there are from the salad/rice/soup bar to the meat, and the sides and dessert. There's literally something for everyone. Also, if there's something you're specifically looking for or wanting but you don't see it coming around, just ask someone and they'll bring it to you. My favorite things of the night were the lamb chops and the picanha steak (medium rare). I also looooveee the cheesy bread balls (pao de queijo). Place is pretty big with tons of seating. read more

Went to Texas de Brazil for dinner and I was completely disappointed. This place has gone way down hill and isn't what it used to be. First red flag should've been how empty it was. There were maybe 4 tables at most that were occupied. But we decided to give it a shot anyhow. The salad bar was fine and the hot food as well. Some things did not look or feel fresh. The cheese bread was warm but hard, some items that were meant to be hot were not. The gauchos brought meat but despite telling our server our preference was medium, they kept bringing us overcooked meat. Half my plate was filled with well done meat that was bone dry. They did eventually bring us medium meat but it was very frustrating ask repeatedly and they would still bring us overcooked meat. The server, gauchos were very nice but for almost $300 for 3 adults and a child we expected more. We could not get out of there fast it enough. Texas de Brazil used to be a favorite of ours at one time. We've hosted special occasions here and had been coming for years just hadn't been back in a while. At this point, sadly we won't be coming back. read more

We visited for Mother's Day and while the food was okay we felt like the service was absolutely lacking. The server wasn't very attentive. She asked for our drinks when we arrived, directed us to the salad bar and then pretty much disappeared for the rest of our meal. We had to flag down a few random servers to get more drinks or for anything we needed. She also never came up to us after to offer desserts or anything else. I had to personally get up to look at the sample tray and find her to tell her what we wanted. At one point I even picked up my own plate and placed it on the counter. She did not refill our waters glasses even once. I also had to get her to get the bill. If not we could have simply walked out without anyone noticing. We also had to request multiple times for the people to come back around with the protein cuts, they stopped coming around and we waiting more than half an hour for at least one of them to show up again. We were 7 people, including 3 celebrating moms. It was definitely disappointing the lack of service. It was a bill over $500, not worth the value or experience. read more

This place is like meat heaven I kid you not it's definitely the best tasting meat I ever had the steaks are incredible. The little cheese balls are to die for . The salad bar / salmon and shrimp are incredible. The lamb chops are to die for and pork ribs was great. But the best is the red meat the big beef ribs around but the filet mignon was the best I had anywhere top of the line love this you definitely need to try this place there was 6 of us we had a blast again I forgot to take pictures you be glad I didn't you be too jealous and want some of this place read more

So my trip to Texas de Brazil finally happened after several years of wondering what the experience would be like. I just never thought my appetite was worthy of eating here. I don't eat much so hearing the many stories of others experiences, I wasn't sure if this was a place that made sense for someone like me. Boy was a I wrong. The ambiance alone was worth it for me. I love the decor, lighting and overall feel of this place. Cozy, romantic, elegant and fun all wrapped in one. I've heard stories of the endless food that comes to the table, but I never realized what that was really like until I experienced it here. There was always someone coming to offer a different type of meat consistently throughout dinner. Beef, chicken, pork, cooked in so many different ways. Something for everyone's taste buds. The salad bar is an entirely different experience on top of what you get at the table. Pretty amazing salad bar that includes...yes salad as well as rice and beans, bread, fruits, vegetables, soup and more. Very impressive. The service is impeccable. There is someone there for all of your needs. Superior service. Overall great experience and I highly recommend. Tips: Don't fill up on the carbs at the salad bar. Spectacular! We have a VIP card (look more on website for details!) and we reserved through open table for a Wednesday night, which wasn't really necessary. Our service was spectacular. The area where our table was felt spacious. Drinks were delicious and made by the server himself, the buffet was fresh and looked untouched. I especially love the lobster bisque, prosciutto and manchego cheese. I loved that the meat servers only came to our table when the cards were green, otherwise they'd let us continue our conversation and enjoy our time. One of the servers noted in the picture was amazing! If you see him, make sure he attends to you, he's the best! He was very charismatic and contributed to our fantastic family dinner. Him, along with our server brought us the meats cooked to our liking to our table. The food was so hot that sometimes I had to wait to chew! I really appreciated the freshness and great taste. I also liked that the meats weren't salty, unlike at other Texas de Brazil locations that make it very salty. We will definitely continue coming to this location to enjoy more amazing dinners. First time coming to Texas de Brazil with the family for Father's Day. Lovely staff and beautiful restaurant. The food never stops coming including all quality meats and sides. There is a salad bar that has many choices not just salads but hot foods as well to pair with your meats. If you are not a meat eater you can still enjoy the salad bar that has many options. The service never disappointed from any staff member! The price for lunch and dinner (no meat) is $29.99. The normal dinner is $51.99. Drinks and desserts are not included. For the price you may think that's expensive BUT all of the food items are quality. Especially the meats that come to the table and you get served unlimited quantities of anything. read more

Unfortunately the a good few of the meats were either overcooked or in a couple of cases raw, asked for well done for some of the meats and the staff we asked didn't speak English or didn't understand us so this wasn't possible. We also ordered four desserts for the four of us and two of them tasted like they had just defrosted, I mentioned this but my lack of Spanish wasn't enough as most of the staff lacked in English. The whole experience at this Texas de Brazil was a poor one considering we go to the one at sawgrass regularly. This has really put us off. read more

If you are a meat lover, you must come here!!! So so yummy! We came here with a large party to celebrate a friend's birthday. It's all you can eat and I think around $70-80 per person. They explain how their system works once you arrive but as a heads up - green means you want the food/meat to keep coming; red means you're full and you want a break. The salad is open bar so you can get some appetisers to start off before the meats. The servers bring all sorts of different types of meat to your table and will ask if you would want some. There's beef, pork, fillet mignon, chicken, etc. My advice is to start off SLOW on the salad bar so you do not get full before your meats come in. Especially if you are an average female like me who cannot eat too much (even though my heart desires to eat it all). Also - I recommend the pineapple from the salad bar. It helps cut down on the greasy/ heaviness of the meats and helps you eat to be the glutton that you came here for Cant say much about the drinks- we're not big drinkers. What I will say is that this place is great to come as a group (if your group is willing to spend the buffet pricing) because there will be no mistakes regarding orders or food. It's help yourself. My husband took me to this restaurant for my birthday and we really enjoyed it. I must say, though, it was pretty pricey. One does have access to different kinds of meats in addition to a buffet, but neither of us ate as much meet to justify the $60 they charge per person. And I'm sure this applies to most diners, especially since they place bread, mashed potato, french fries, and fried plantains on the table without one even asking for it. These are very filling foods that, of course, if one eats them, there will be no space for the meat. Needless to say, they went untouched since we noticed the strategy they use. The service, I must admit, was absolutely superb, especially from our server, Arnold. There were servers with meats coming to our table continuously and the meats were tender and cooked to perfection. The only reason I knocked off one star is because the restroom was filthy at 6pm, which is not even dinner time when it gets really busy. The stalls were very private, as they were little rooms with walls from floor to ceiling. However, there was dirty toilet paper overflowing from the waste baskets and all over the floor as well as toilet seats. This alone, makes the whole experience a little less perfect. read more

Our family is big into steak. We love Brazilian rodizio places so when we were asked to meet for dinner at the popular Texas de Brazil at the Dolphin Mall we were excited! Personally I had never been to any Texas de Brazil before and my husband's last time was over 10 yrs ago so we were both eager! We had a reservation so we were seated right away. We ordered a bottle of their house Cabernet which they didn't have so they substituted it for a mediocre option. They brought the first meat about 30-45 min after we sat down, served one person and left... it took us about 15 min to get someone else to come with more meat. That was the level of service the whole day: meat not cooked to how we liked it, very skimpy with the sides, took a long time between meats or to bring our drinks. I was expecting top of the line service based on their reputation but they have better service at Applebies or Friday's Desserts didn't include ANY Brazilian options: no crema de papaya, brigadeiros or shredded coconut with condensed milk. Instead they had carrot cake, pecan pie and key lime pie... and vanilla ice cream which was good quality. Personally it's one and done for us at Texas de Brazil. Not worth the time or price for the level or service and soso food. read more

This is a high end meat buffet. You get a double sided card with red and green. Red means no more and green means yes. There are waiters walking around with different cuts of meat cooked at different temperatures. You get sweet plantains, which are by far my favorite and mashed potato's. My family has been visiting this Texas de Brazil location since it first opened and we always left happy and wanting to come back. Yesterday we visited to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday and we were very excited to return for the first time after the COVID pandemic began. I understand that restaurants have suffered greatly since the pandemic began and that is one of the main reasons that we really enjoy giving our business to local restaurants, however; what we encountered yesterday was just a business that is nearly defunct. The first thing I noticed was that our favorite items in the salad bar were missing, the sushi and baked cod amongst other foundational items. If that was the extent of my disappointment, I could overlook it as a casualty of COVID, however; when it came time to enjoy the main event, which is their meat offerings, that is when the greatest disappointment occurred. We waited close to 20 minutes for the first Gaucho to come to our table, we had to ask the waiter to flag them down. The problem with what happened after this point is that the only offerings were churrasco, chicken and picahna, with some lamb. Even these meats were not the best quality, they were tough and most were cold. None of the quality cuts of meat made their rounds. We asked for fillet mignon and for beef and lamb ribs at the beginning and they came by our table with a very limited amount at the very end of our meal when we had already finished eating. The one star goes to our waiter who was attentive. I honestly feel bad for these employees having to work in such a dysfunctional environment. Both the men and ladies restrooms were filthy, with no one in sight to take care of them. Sadly, our family will never again return to any Texas de Brazil restaurants. read more

I've been to six different Texas de Brazil restaurants and found them all to be great including this one. The tables are always set perfectly and the glassware hand dried without a speck of a water spot. The staff has always been impeccably dressed, super polite and professional. And as for the meats, I can sum it up in one word, "wonderful." They have somehow combined the hospitality of Texas with the flavors and flare of Brazil. But let me tune you in on a secretive fact. Texas de Brazil, though in tradition a churrasco, in fact has better meats here than does any churrasco in Brazil. The reason, I think, is that the meats available here are of a higher quality than what are available in Brazil. My favorite is their Garlic Picanha as the picanha, known as the sirloin cap in the United States, is cut of meat that is so very flavorful and not commonly found in our local markets. read more

I visited this establishment for the first time on January 12,2023 as a work luncheon. When our party arrived we were seated quickly at a beautifully made table. Our server was very attentive and ensured we all were taken care of. The cheesy bread was amazing, I almost got full from eating the bread. As a side we had mashed potatoes and fried bananas. The potatoes were amazing and very creamy. As far as the meats I had the bacon wrapped chicken breast, leg of lamb, chicken Parmesan and flank steak. The first time I visited was only a few weeks after they opened. My friend and I wanted cheap mall food. So we went to Dolphin Mall as we were on a budget. We walked in and were impressed that a place that served cheap mall food would be so gorgeous inside. We were seated and told that green means go and red means stop. We didn't really understand. Seconds later a person with a heavy accent starts shaving delicious picanha on our plates. We want to stop him, but the communication was a bit of an issue, and honestly all I could think about was picanha! He keeps going until we tell him to stop, we didn't want to tell him to stop, but we didn't know if we were getting charged by the pound. We didn't see anyone approach us with a scale, so we figured we were good to eat. As a side note, picanha is a sirloin cap that still has a layer of fat. It makes it a juicy cut and very flavorful. They offered my filet all night and I almost always declined in favor of the picanha. Picanha being one of my favorite cuts, go Brasil! It was really only seconds into this event that we realized that we made a mistake. A sweet and happy mistake. We knew we'd pay for it later, but who could say no to large amounts of delicious being heaped onto your plate? So after a whole lot of green and almost no red, we were finally done. I went to the salad bar after gorging on protein, they actually have some really nice options there. And if you order the salad bar only, I believe the price is a bit less as well. After eating here, we never heard the end of it. Our respective wives were very upset we went without them. It's been many years, and we still here how bad we were for leaving them behind. But after many years, we did return. So just last weekend we returned! This time it was my wife and I with her family. This is her families absolute favorite place to go. They told us they were taking us there for our anniversary and my wife was thrilled! We had all gone to Fogo de Chão in the past in Orlando. But my wife was finally going to Texas de Brazil, and she was thrilled! So they offered us medium and we declined, so they asked what temperature we wanted. We both said rare. I don't think they understood because everything came back pink and not red. My wife was telling her mom that the waiters weren't getting it right. The manager overheard, which I'm surprised because my Cuban wife is normally so quiet... Anyhow, the manager interjected and promised rare for the rest of the night. We were overflowing with rare, it was fantastic! So, once again we had a great time here. I often get asked if I prefer Texas or Fogo, honestly they're both great, try them both! read more
