Client dinner this week, 4 of us total. If you want meat, loads of it, this is the place to go. Amazing salad bar and the Lobster Bisque was very good. The salad bar must have 100 items on it. The meats that come to the table including Filet Minion, Flank Steak, Rib Eye, Chicken, Leg of Lamb, Lamb Chops and much more. The Leg of Lamb and Lamb Chops were my favorite. Your server Veronica needs better training or possibly another orientation. Standing over us and telling us what to tip her was the cherry on top after her horrible service. She was also incapable of topping off waters by literally filling less than half way even when the cups were empty. I wish I was exaggerating. It's the little things that make a massive difference and she in no way made us feel comfortable but sure enough made sure we tipped her as she closely watched and pointed to the tip option. All-you-can-eat picahna? Yes, please count me in! This is one of our favorite places to eat grilled steaks. It is located in the Dolphin mall by the main entrance and you can park the car yourself or use the valet service. It offers all-you-can-eat meal but you also have the option of asking for a menu and selecting only the dish you want to eat. The all-you-can-eat option costs around $50 per person and does not include alcoholic beverages or dessert. It includes grilled meats, a self-service buffet with salads, grilled vegetables, cheeses, rice, Brazilian-style black beans, creamy potatoes, lobster bisque and other items. I love the lobster bisque, it's creamy, rosy and has a spicy kick to it. The servers are walking around serving various meat selections like picahna, skirt steak, bacon-wrapped filet, bacon-wrapped chicken, lamb chops and other. My advice is: enjoy the nice meats! picahna, filet mignon, lamb chops... that's what you're paying the bucks for, do not get full by eating rice, bread, and other fillers, you can have those anytime and anywhere. Well, we came for lunch today to see for myself. It is located at the very center and front of the Dolphin Mall. Parking is ample around the mall, valet is available but I prefer to park at the back right behind Bloomingdales where there's less cars and it's just a quick walk across the other end of the mall. Reservations are available, but walk-ins are certainly welcome. SERVICE: As soon as we entered we were greeted with the smiling face of Zunjaila, our server for the afternoon. She asked if we know how it works, and we did and she gave us a quick run down on what's on the salad bar, how to flip our meat card, soup of the day, wine and cocktails. She would check on us religiously. She was always asking if we had any special request. And she would do so with a smile each time. RESTAURANT: The restaurant have two floors. The building is a rotunda with exposed, large steel beams and red walls. There's a nice, frameless glass wine cellar on one end of the restaurant. At the center is the huge square-shaped salad/side counter. This counter is enclosed by a fancy, decorative iron fence, which is nice but it leaves a very small space to enter and exit. Right behind that is the glass elevator, and next to that is the staircase. The decor includes many modern art pieces that ties with the restaurant's theme and framed articles about the restaurant. The restrooms are clean. The noise level was normal. FOOD: The food is endless! Starting with the salad bar: there are all types of cheese, caprese, fresh veggies, grilled veggies, and charcuteries. These are all great, but I found myself wanting warm vegetables with my meat which was very scarce. The hot counter have your usual side dishes such as scallops potatoes, beans, rice and mushrooms. Zunjaila brought us their famous basket of cheese bread, garlic mashed potatoes, and fried bananas. But I save my appetite for the star of the show: the meats. Now as this is lunch, the meat selections were limited but do not let that discourage you. Their picanha is the best! Churrasco, sirloin, lambs, ribs, chicken, sausage and pork and things wrapped in bacon!!! The meats are juicy and so tender. I do avoid the little, square pieces of beef as they seem to be chewier as opposed to the ones they carved for you. I also love their chimichurri sauce! I can swim in it! OVERALL: I enjoyed our first visit in thIs location. Everyone was pleasant. And even if one of the gauchos pass you, you can always just signal them over and they come right back. I definitely feel like I get my money's worth during lunch. It's like $28 for adults and half off that for kids As opposed to the full price for dinner. I went with my family last weekend, a total of 5 of us. It had been over 6 years since I visited the Doral location, and we had a wonderful dinner! Our server was very attentive and checked on us often to see if we needed drink refills or sides. The buffet was plentiful, fresh and had many options. If you had a vegetarian in your group, they could easily make a full meal of just the buffet. The servers with the meat skewers came around very often. All the parade of meats brought to our table were delicious. At one point, I asked why there were not any sausages and the manager brought a skewer of them personally within less than a few minutes. We were celebrating a birthday and our server made sure that the dessert was festive with a candle and Happy Birthday written on the plate with berry sauces. With Covid I was a bit hesitant to eat at a "buffet" style restaurant, but surprisingly everything went well. There was hand sanitizer in several locations and to eat a the salad bar we had to wear a mask and clean our hands. The meat was plentiful! Even when my card was red I was still offered meat selections! The meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned! Very juicy and portion sizes were awesome. I wanted to like this place, and came in after a long day at Dave & Buster's. The waiter was at first very pleasant, Jose promised and excellent meal. I can't fault them for being a Brazilian steakhouse that wants you to fill up on its inexpensive food at the salad bar, but unfortunately the service at the table was poor. My children and I sat with empty water glasses for 15 minutes and Jose was nowhere to be found. The beers I ordered for myself each came about 10 minutes after I placed my order, and the restaurant was not busy at all. The meat that was served was too salty all around, and the waiters didn't appear to know how to properly cut the picanha, which was by far their best meet. Their mashed potatoes that were only available when brought by a waiter, we're delicious, but a side of mashed potatoes is not enough to justify the high cost. Though I came in for lunch, they charged my three children the dinner price. The waiter mentioned that he was going to be giving me a 50% discount, though didn't admit that my children were mischarged. I felt like this was especially sneaky, making me feel as though I was being given some sort of compensation for the poor service, when in fact he was only correcting an error that he had made on our bill. The real nail in the coffin came at the end of the meal when there was a problem with their handheld credit card machine. Jose spent about 10 minutes coming back and forth to the table trying to fix the machine when really he should have went and got a new one and sorted out the problem with that specific machine without making us wait. Lastly, when he did get the machine working he informed me that if I were to tip on the card he would only receive 45% of the tip. As I had no cash in addition to having a poor experience overall, I was only left to feel bad that I had no choice but to tip on the card. I'm not vengeful person, so always tip my fair share no matter the service, but I suspected he was being dishonest with me again to try and get me to give him an amazing tip to make up for what he would supposedly lose. This was my very first time at Texas De Brazil. I must say. The establishment is exceptionally clean. The servers are very kind and the restrooms are hella nice too. I'm really impressed by the ceiling to floor stall doors. The meats were delish. I only had churrasco, filet mignon, and a couple of sirloins. So because this was my first time... I had to adjust to their style of service. My friend had been to Fogo De Chao and was extremely disappointed with the limited sides that were offered here at Texas de Brazil. I was too. I have never been to Fogo de Chao but I could tel how much they were lacking just from their 'salad bar' and hot sides. We also ordered a passion fruit lemonade. That was really tasty. No free refills on that. Bummer... considering it's $48 per person. So The only hot sides offered were: white rice, black beans (with beef), mushrooms, potatoes au gratin. Other hot dishes at the buffet were Lobster bisque soup and coconut fish. They also bring a side of mashed potatoes and fried bananas to clean your palate in between meats. However., that was it. I expected more! I didn't want any meat in the beans. I didn't like the way the steaks paired with the random sides I tried. It was lacking. The signs signify to the meat servers if you would like for them to stop by and offer more meat or not. Despite having our sign showing the RED/NO thank you side... the meat servers did not honor that and still came by. So we constantly had to keep telling them no. That was pointless. I'd say the best part of this experience was the unlimited meats... which filet mignon was bomb diggity and the drink. This is why I'm giving 3 stars. I do not think or plan to return. read more

I truly hope that Texas de Brazil is an indicator of what heaven is like...this is honestly a utopia for meat-lovers. The minute you walk in, the gothic style decor is oddly welcoming. Upon arriving to the table, I noticed a little card that I could flip over depending on whether or not I wanted to be offered the various array of meats, immediately I felt a surge of power at my fingertips. I made my way to the salad bar with a mission to get light sides which would complement the meat. Alas, I fell into temptation aka the potato au gratin (super creamy and a prime example of the power of the potato). I also grabbed salad, mushrooms, and green beans to offset the sinfulness of the carbs. Then, it was time for the main event... they came one by one: Parmesan-encrusted pork, chorizo, picanha, flank steak, filet mignon, churrasco, oh my! "Sim, por favor," I said, keep them coming. The meats were seasoned to perfection, and all too much for my little heart to handle. My heart told me to keep going, but my mind said, "Nah girl, make room for dessert." And thank goodness I did, because that chocolate cake was perfectly delightful and fluffy, not heavy whatsoever. All in all, I'm dreaming about going back to Texas de Brazil. The guys round around with the meat hardly have any meat, also the meat are medium rare and rare to point where it's really red and You see All the blood coming out. The service is very slow and sloppy. This is my first time and last. Salad bar is average, food presentation in salad bar is average. To go there thinking that you'll have a buffet is A complete hallucination. The desserts are not Included. The only thing good about it is the place and decor. We had a plethora of meats and had a great time enjoying the Brazilian rice and beans as well as the all you can eat salads. My date had 2 passiontfuit drinks that the bartender made to perfection. My family and I have been enjoying Texas De Brazil at the Dolphin Mall and Dadeland Mall for years. The food is incredible, the service is impeccable and the staff is attentive, courteous and responsive. Recently, I had booked the large private party area located in the back of the Dolphin Mall location for a retirement party. We initially believed the total attendance would be around fifty people, but the day before the event a number of my associates expressed their desire to attend, and the final number swelled to 90 people. The restaurant expeditiously made last minute adulterations to accommodate us and could not have been more professional in doing so. The event went off without a hitch and the food, as always, was fantastic. Many of my colleagues have expressed interest in hosting future events at the Dolphin Mall location. I would be remiss if I did not highlight the efforts of the entire Dolphin Mall staff, but would like to specifically mention the following people: Grettel Usatorres -- Regional General Manager Kenny Sanchez -- Manager Manny -- Last name unknown/server As I previously articulated, my family and I have been going to Texas De Brazil for years, and we have gotten to know Grettel over that time. You don't go here without expecting to seriously overindulge in carnivorous activities. Thisplace is unequivocally a Meatatarian's Paradise. I highly suggest you make a reservation though as they will potentially sit you outside without one. Even if the place is empty, they will claim the tables are inside are all reserved if you didn't call ahead. This happened to our party at lunch & although the service was on point I didn't care much for the lunchtime blazing sun or the bird poop covered chairs. They need to work on cleaning up the outside chairs better. Once you do get sat it's time for drinks. Sodas are small glass bottle Coke's & are not included in your price to eat. You will also notice a little coaster type thing that the servers look at to know whether to offer you meat or not. This comes in handy so you aren't constantly calling them over to serve you more. There is also some cheese bread served & small dishes of mashed potatos that they will bring. The salad bar(included in price) is decent & I found a nice bowl of Peppered Bacon which was cooked perfectly. The real standout to me was the Garlic Sirloin, the Medium Churrasco, & the Bacon wrapped Chicken. There is a meat for all tastes and if something is not cooked at the temp you like you can request another temp and they will be back around shortly with it. I always ensure to eat as much Pichana and other Brazilian meats as possible. Being said that and have been at other true B. Steakhouses, Texas de Brazil is a good compromise for those in a distance/time-crunch living nearby either their Dolphin Mall or Dadeland Mall locations. Approximately 3weeks ago we rendezvous at their Dolphin Mall location for a late afternoon lunch birthday celebration (and yes I had phoned them ahead of time alerting of the birthday boy's name). They were extremely accommodating as we arrived just shy before the cutoff lunch afternoon seating! Waited very shortly, had an opportunity to check out their low lounge chairs. Nice! Comfy, interesting form factor and cool metallic design. Looking around, I have to say dining area is very well designed. A roundness-wide feel with an upper level to boot! All centralized by a huge floral arrangement hanging just above the soup and appetizer area which is also nearby a gorgeous vertical glass wine cellar area and a bar nearby. Since we were seated near the window towards the right-rear area, the staff accommodated by lowering the blinds to cut back the mid afternoon glare, adding to the already laid back atmosphere. For food, we brought back to the table some nice appetizers to go with our heavy protein laden lunch: manchego cheese, prosciutto and goat cheese. Others at our table were saddened to hear the lobster bisque is only offered during dinner. However, the roasted red pepper soup was so savory! All these items helped break up the overwhelming infinite amount of succulent meats presented at our table. When your 'chip' is turned over to green "yes more please" indicator, the meat servers approach with various items. We held out mostly for the Pichana (pronounced pi-ca-nya) but did opt for other meats in between and then very surprised by the flavorful lamb!! Wow, I usually prefer New Zealand Lamb!!. Many fresh plates later, we were winding down. The best part? Everyone was surprised when a Happy Birthday cake and candle arrived! The Bday boy quickly asking others, which responses were in delightful denial of not knowing about this cake staring us in the face. Amazing! I've come here many times but tonight was the absolute best experience I've ever had. I took my mom here for her birthday and asked to make the night special and they did exactly that. Our servers name was Jorge. Coming from a server herself, this was the best attention I've ever had. He was on top of EVERYTHING! Not once did we have to ask for anything. The food was great and coming out very quickly. Jorge brought us out the best flan we've ever had and sang happy birthday to my mom with the help of a few others. Expect to pay $29 for lunch on weekdays and $50 for lunch and dinner on weekends but it's all you can eat and the quality and freshness is superb. Not a big fan of Texas de Brazil since it's just pounds of meat you pay to eat. But I still like it enough to eat here from time to time. Service here is usually good however on my last visit there was an issue with my reservation. The host up front told us they would help us out and make it ok. Told us we would wait about 30-45 min. 1 hour later I walk in asking how much longer. The same lady's says we are next and should be about 10 min. Finally 10 minutes pass by and when we go in to check our position in line the guy up front says there are 4 party's ahead of us. Clearly someone lied here. I don't mind waiting and I also don't mind leaving but the fact I wasted over an hour of my night and ended up going to eat at Johnny rockets across was really upsetting. I had such a memorable experience at Texas de Brazil! I went on a Friday evening for a 6:30pm reservation, that I made on Open Table around 4pm, for two people. I didn't know what to expect especially because I am not a huge fan of steaks and meats. We were greeted and seated right away by the buffet area. Our waiter was attentive and very efficient. We ordered caipirinhas which were delicious but a bit sweeter than I am used to. We enjoyed dinner for two at $47 per person. With the dinner comes unlimited choice of meats, sides of bananas, sides of mashed potatoes, and access to the buffet. The sides were DELICIOUS. The bananas come warm with cinnamon on them. I came here for a birthday party (of about 40 people), so we were seated in a room in the restaurant that was far from the general public. I liked how exclusive it was. The salad bar always has great offerings. The lobster bisque was probably one of the best things there. So tasty! Other hits include the smoked salmon, sushi, and various cheese and charcuterie selections. The top meats for me were the churrasco, as well as the garlic chicken. The spicy sausage is also a great choice! The double chocolate cake is one of the most decadent that I've ever had. The carrot cake is also a great choice. They also have coconut flake cake that got good marks! The service was mostly good. I understand it was a big group but certain waiter's attitudes weren't great, but our main waiters were great. They weren't all together in terms of tracking drink and dessert orders. Not a huge issue but their responses weren't always pleasant. Great to come for dinner, also good party place. Never come here. Worst place ever. Had to deal with disrespectful staff who told me I needed to grab my own plate as I was sitting down. I had to beg the server (grabiella) to put my sparkling bottle in a ice container to keep cold and I got no help pouring more after. I got snooty remarks from other staff as I would ask for my meat to come medium instead of the continuous wave of well done that Is not to my liking. I have no words that will be enough to express how dreadful the experience was. I used to love and highly recommend Texas de Brazil pre rona but not anymore after my visit today. These were the things that will prevent me from ever going back to any Texas de brazil. 1. I was almost cut twice by servers not being careful cutting slices of meat for people next to me at our table. 2. The hide and do not bring out premium meats like filet mignon with and without bacon. I had to complain and continuously demand for them to bring me them as they want to serve you chicken, sausage and any other cheap protein so you fill up and maximize profits. 3. Service was slow and horrible, ordered drinks and deserts and the waitress forgot and i had to remind her towards the end of our meal. Was an hour long wait to be seated but that's ok. Got seated by a nice waiter after waiting at the bar to be seated. Decent variety at the buffet: salads, rice, black beans, bread, chicken, cheese, and a few more options. As soon as sat down from serving myself at the buffet, i was met with the steak servers. Nice, thin slices are cut and given to you, you can have as much as you'd like there's no limit. The meats tended to be a little too raw for my liking, but more cooked steaks did eventually come out. The churrasco was my favorite, but the bacon wrapped chicken was good too. Ribs, Lamb chop, and pork were all good. The waiters actually serving the food were pretty friendly and compliant. There's one that came by with the ribs and practically dropped the meat i asked for on my plate. Aside from that, if you have a big appetite, Texas de Brazil is one of my recommended places to eat. read more

This is what you want from a Brazilian steakhouse! Everything was perfection from the atmosphere and service, to the salad bar, meats and desserts. It's expensive but great for special occasions. read more
