    Plant-based salad bar items

The service and the food were fantastic! Matthew was our server, and he was wonderful--so friendly, helpful, and energetic. As a vegan, this probably seems like a strange place to go. But my husband is omni, and it was our anniversary, so we wanted a place we could have a meal we both liked. Their salad bar did not disappoint. I ate my face off. Everything I tried was so good. The Brazilian vinaigrette, chimichurri, and cous cous salad were my favorites, but I really enjoyed it all. My husband for the regular churrasco and enjoyed it, as well. His favorites were the ribs and picanha. The ambience was kind of business casual. It has a fancy feel, but people were there from the mall and not all clientele were dressed up, so it still felt casual. The servers and gauchos were all great. We had a lovely time with delicious food. It was a great experience.

My family had a small high school graduation celebration dinner at Texas de Brazil. We wanted an upscale restaurant for our niece, but still wanted to feel comfortable considering we don't go to many fine dining establishments. The server was great in explaining how the meats arrive to your table and the salad bar details. We had a 4:00 PM reservation, which I highly recommend. The salad bar was filled and fresh. Charcuterie meats and cheeses, mixed salads, build your own salads, and several sides like rice, beans, and pasta salad. The meat variety was better than I had expected - you can try some of every kind of meat which we really liked. BBQ chicken, bacon wrapped chicken, steak, lamb, pork chops. They can even prepare your meat how you like it cooked if needed. And if you're not too full, they even offer several dessert options. There didn't seem to be a time limit, and it's all you can eat meat and salad bar - so come hungry and eat up! It's pricey to eat here, but it's worth the unique churrascaria experience.

We came here yesterday to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time! Food is always so delicious here. We love all of the beef selections and the lamb! Our server was so kind, and had lots of awesome recommendations for us. The ambiance was cozy, and it was the perfect day. Thank you so much. Our tummies were FULL haha!

Went with 3 others so a good group of people. Made rez on OpenTable and waited about 10 min until we were seated, which was OK. We sat in a place that was close to the salad bar, etc area and it was great. Our server was wonderful, asking us what we wanted and if there are any special requests which we mentioned well done and medium rare items. Those were slow coming but overall, was fine but not superb. The items in the salad bar were cucumbers (wow they were flavored so well), bacon (didnt even see it because in a basket that was above my eye level- Im short lol), and tebeulah. Deliciousness! The lobster bisque was OK as it didn't really have any lobster pieces but tasted like corn chowder and was more liquidy than rich and velvety for a bisque. We asked for our specific items including lamb and garlic steak but both took some time to get to us. I was a bit disappointed to hear that dessert was not part of the menu, you have to pay extra. However, the plates do include bread and bananas covered in sugar and cinnamon which were yummy. Overall, will go again but not any time soon. All parties had fun though!

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. We made a reservation for 8:15 PM but weren't seated until well after 8:30. During the meal, servers kept placing bottles of water on our table without explaining that they were charging us for them. By the end of the night, we were charged for three unopened bottles that we only took with us because we had already been billed for them. This was supposed to be a joint birthday celebration for me and my girlfriend, but it was completely soured by their outrageous policies. We brought our own cake and were told multiple times by our server that if we cut into it, we would be charged $3 per person. For our party of 15, that would've cost more than the cake itself! I had even called days prior to let them know we were bringing a cake, and this was never mentioned. When I pointed out that this "policy" isn't listed on their website, the server just ignored me. To avoid being gouged, we told the server to take the cake back untouched, which completely ruined the celebration. Later, the manager told us the fee only applies if they cut and plate the cake, contradicting what the server had said all evening. Even then, the policy is absurd. On top of that, they refused to split the bill for our party of 15. We were only told this after the meal, leaving us scrambling to figure out how to split an $800 tab. Eventually, they allowed us to use two cards, but the stress of coordinating payments between a large group of people--many of whom didn't even know each other--was beyond frustrating. What started as a celebration ended up being a nightmare. My boss, who was at the table and had been considering this place for our company holiday party of 50 people, quickly decided against it after witnessing how poorly everything was handled. This place is nothing more than a money grab, charging for every little thing, and the overall experience felt disrespectful and chaotic. Needless to say, we will never return, and none of our guests plan to either. This restaurant ruined what should have been a special night. Avoid at all costs!

Look who would not enjoy an AYCE place of meat! We have been to other places like this and decided to give them a try. Well, outside the great service this was a big mistake. Yes it's all the meat and sides you can eat. But when the meat (every one we had) is so tough to cut much less chew once you get a bite. It's not really worth it. The seasoning was not good and one cut of meat (chicken) was dry and flavorless. The salad bar with the cheese was good but the hot sides were under seasoned and not good. This was a disappointing experience and going back is probably not in the cards.

Ate here for dinner, most people overhype this place. The charcuterie section is yummy and can't really mess that section up too much. These places are stingy with portions of the meat. The service is TO ME a bit messy for my liking. The environment is busy on the weekends. But not bad for a chain restaurant.

Stuffed!!!!!!! On the verge of meat sweats. That food was so delicious, tender and perfectly cooked. Lamb great bacon wrapped chicken, flank steak I could go on but all you need to know is it's good. The service was amazing the waiter super friendly the servers kept the meat coming. The place is clean and quite nice. Whole family loved it.

Is there small table for two people?

They do have some two tops but they will just seat two people at a four top.

Can I sit with my group of meat eaters if I only want to have salad?

I'm sure you could. They probably keep a close eye on those who only order salad, though, to make sure they weren't actually eating meat given to them by their table mates and only ordered salad to keep their portion of the bill low. I'm not saying…

What's the meat option difference between lunch and dinner?

In most markets, our lunch menu includes fewer meats and salad area items than our dinner menu, but at a reduced price. Some locations offer our dinner menu and prices during our lunch hours. For more specific information about our lunch offerings…

Is the salad bar open at the Tacoma location? I haven't been in a long time and last time I was there the server made the salads as requested and we weren't able to get our own salads.

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, our salad area is open for self serving as per usual.

Why aren't any prices listed on the website? Please provide prices for all you can eat with everything included. thank you

Thanks for reaching out! Our pricing is listed on each individual location page. You can find pricing for our Tacoma location through the following link: https://texasdebrazil.com/locations/tacoma

Do they still have the $19 menu? Do they require reservations?

Thanks for reaching out! While we do not have a discounted menu, you can enjoy dishes from just our salad area and hot dishes, excluding our meats, for a discounted price of of $31.99.…

Are you currently open for lunch?

Kids don’t eat much. Are they charged the regular adult fee? Or is there a children’s menu available?

They have a price break for kids 12 and under are half price.

I don't eat a lot at one time. Can I take some of my food home?

Not sure on the meats but I do know that you can just get the salad bar only. The salad bar is not the normal salad bar. I may just have that next time I go. For the exact answer, I would contact them directly and ask the manager. When I went the…

    What's the pricing for kids?

For special occasions, do you allow customers to bring in a birthday cake?

Hi Ana, thanks for reaching out! Yes we do, however, we just ask that you call our management to let them know before doing so. Thanks!

Is this like an all you can eat steak place?

Yes! All you can eat for meat and hot side dishes, salads, etc for $50 total

Is the salad bar self serve now or still manned by staff?

Hi Lisa, thanks for reaching out! Our salad area in Tacoma is now open for self serve as usual, however, we do ask that all guests please continue to wear their masks at all times unless seated directly at their table. Thanks!

On the weekend, is dessert & non-alcoholic beverage still included?

Hi Selina, thanks for reaching out! Our regular dinner price includes an endless selection of our flame grilled meats and chef crafted sides from our salad area. However, all desserts and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased additionally. Some…

Do the hot items come with the meal or is that separate from the salad bar and meats?

Are they still bringing out the meats during COVID? If not, how does it work?

Yes, we are still bringing the meats to the table. The salad area has an attendant there to build the plates based off guest selections. Thank you.

Is the salad bar open now that they have reopened?

Hello Jennifer. The salad area is open, but we do have an attendant stationed to craft your plate for you based on your specifications.

Are meats served at different degrees of done-ness, spouse and I are completely opposite?

Yes. You can request different temps of meat. And they are highly accommodating! The med-well to well done take a little longer but they bring it to you once it's done :)

I've been to multiple TdB for both lunch and dinner. Lunch prices are typically around $30 at other locations. Is the Tacoma location seriously $48 for lunch?

Hi Susan, Yes, at our Tacoma location our weekend lunch is $47.99 as we serve our dinner menu and meats during this time. Select desserts and non-alcoholic beverages are also included in this price.

Are there many options for those that do not eat red meat?

They have one parmesan crusted chicken option and grilled shrimp. Other than that, you should just get the salad bar instead. There is smoked salmon and plenty of cheese and other choices, and fejoiada.

The menu is very limited to just a few items for only $20. You still get the ban chan or you can do the standard lunch AYCE for $29. I never thought I would write a review for this, but people often complain about the disappearance of their server after the first round and drinks are dropped off, however this place, be prepare to be overservice. I think we were asked at least 10 times by two different servers if we need anything else. While I appreciate it, but they may want to cut down a little bit. I would say after dropping off the food, they should come back and check on the customers like 7 mins into the meal and gauge eye contact or something. Lol

I've been coming to Korean Palace for quite some time, and while the food selection and flavors are…read morestill enjoyable, the overall experience has noticeably changed over the years. Prices continue to increase almost monthly, which is understandable with inflation, but it's disappointing to see many of the small perks that once made this place stand out--such as sauces and extras--now come with additional charges. The service has also been inconsistent. There are definitely some staff members who are kind and welcoming, but there have been times where the atmosphere felt less inviting, as if certain guests were not fully welcomed. Customer service and hospitality play a huge role in dining experiences, especially for longtime customers who continue to support the business. That said, the variety of food options is still one of their strong points, and there's a reason many people continue to visit. I just hope management can find a better balance between rising costs and maintaining the customer experience and value that originally made Korean Palace such a popular spot.

The display box clearly showed a price sticker of $19.99, but at checkout I was told the price was now $25 because the system was updated. Price changes happen, but the dismissive attitude and rude response when I politely questioned the discrepancy was disappointing and unnecessary. Customer service and professionalism still matter. Unfortunately, after this interaction, I won't be returning to this location or any of them if it's owned by the same owner. The date of this interaction was Friday, May 22nd around 7:30 PM.

Now, truth be told, I don't usually drink smoothies. I should. I just don't. Forgive me. I almost didn't order this one, but I did. YAY! THIS WAS FANTASTIC! Add the ginger, you will thank me. The caffeine is up to you but after helping with a rather large (and delightful) event the night before I really, really, really needed the caffeine, just saying... This gorgeous drink was perfectly blended. It was perfectly yummy. It was...well, just pretty dang perfect! Big fan! Big fan!
