Came to the steakhouse with my boyfriend right before Valentine's Day while we were staying at the casino. Got greeted almost instantly by very friendly staff. We were seated in a fantastic spot of the restaurant with a view overlooking part of the city. Everything came out fairly quick with great quality and we were checked on regularly a bit on the price your side, but definitely well worth.

    Shrimp cocktail- very good

The service was amazing!! Sam was our main server and was so great!! Ophelia was a secondary server and also amazing! The food was very good, but honestly have had better at steakhouses. I get it when people say it's a casino steakhouse, but the best steakhouse I've eaten at (many times) is at a casino in Wendover, the Rainbow, so it's not just judging casino food. The desert was the star, next up the shrimp cocktail. The steak was average at best, but overall a good experience....other than the wedge salad which was good, but literally a half head of iceberg lettuce, just too much. I will say, the absolute best thing was Sam Dawson who was singing in the bar. We will be back for happy hour just to hear her.

The views from this rooftop restaurant are great! The ambiance is amazing and the service is wonderful. Most of the food we ordered was good as well, except... The crab and some of the mussels on the seafood tour were overcooked, so the meat turned out really dry. The Tableside Tomahawk was ordered at medium rare but was served closer to rare. While it's not a big deal to leave feedback with the server and ask for the steak to be cooked closer to our liking, it's disappointing to have to do that in the first place at a restaurant of this caliber. Everything still tasted good, but would have preferred if everything was cooked properly the first time. Still a great experience though!

I never knew this restaurant existed at EQC! Head past the hotel lobby and take the elevator up to the 11th floor to get there. The ambiance was nice, I definitely want to come back to hang out at the outdoor lounge. I took my mom to eat here before gambling. We had the ribeye, bone-in filet mignon, Spanish octopus, wild mushrooms and truffle fingerlings. All dishes were tasty and my steak was cooked perfectly. Our server was great too. I'd recommend trying this place out especially if you're already there to gamble!

Bar and steakhouse located on the 11th floor of Emerald Queens Casino and opens at 4pm. The elevator key card will not be activated beforehand. Small dining room but decent size patio with tons of heaters. Live music while you dine. A few tv screens. Happy hour food items Weds-Sundays from 4-6pm. You could also order flights for certain drinks. We sat at the bar and ordered a Paloma and Galaxy Moscow Mule. The Galaxy Moscow Mule was the prettiest drink and unique with the Butterfly Pea Flower flavored ice cubes. I'm familiar with butterfly pea flower when alcohol changes the pH and the color changes but to have it in ice cubes is genius. Fun drink. Don't forget to eat the ice cubes! It has flavor!

Dinner date with my son. We ordered the Creamy Garlic and Artichoke Bisque, Pan-seared Jumbo Scallop, Pan-Roasted Chilean Sea Bass Topped with a lobster, Grilled Filet Mignon & Tiramisu... Everything we had was really delicious. We both enjoyed the food. Will definitely be back with the family. Ambience is upscale, beautiful view at night with all the lights and they have deck with fire place. Service was fantastic, our server was very attentive and nice. Highly recommend and for sure a must try!

Although I wish I could give this place 5 stars, I cannot. Went here for a special occasion and it failed me/us. I was really excited because I was hoping for a wonderful dinner but it lacked service and quality of food. Now, the ambiance was great because you are at the EQC Hotel which is brand new and beautiful. Just entering the garage and going toward the lobby and going to the rooftop restaurant was a nice experience, since it is not busy, and is adjacent to the casino but no casino machines. Once you get to the top, the restaurant itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, they were busy and it didn't seem like they were well staffed so our waiter was nervous. The steak we ordered "medium" was over well done which is not Ok. So told them and they did it again, but you can imagine, to do that it takes time and it is not the best experience. Wish they had compensated us for this lack of details and experience but o-well. I won't be back any time soon.

We had a reservation at 6:45 pm with a request for a window, but got hungry and decided to see if anything was available earlier. We were promptly seated. From start to finish, service was amazing. If you order the tomahawk steak, it comes with two sides and this amazing sauce made with cognac. Drooling. The garlic mash was okay but the Brussels sprouts were 100x better. That, paired with the steak and the sauce. Chef's kiss. The strawberry lemonade was not what I was expecting, given the presentation of everything else, I would have at the very least expected some muddled strawberries in it! The steak was so juicy. Cooked to perfection. Seasoned amazingly. It was so much food for two people that we had to have them box it up for us. Will definitely be back!

A definate must try. The chef definately outdid himself on this dinner for 2. The pre-planned menu explains the dishes. So much passion and flavor in every bite. If you're able to splurge a little on your casino getaway I definately reccomended giving it a try.

    Yummy goodness

Was a fantastic experience!!!!!!! The service was amazing and the food was awesome. I look forward to going back. If you do please ask for sever Serena!!! Thanks for making my experience Wonderful

Went here for a birthday celebration and wasn't disappointed. Appetizer scallops were delicious, and ordered the King Salmon and Fillet Mingon which were cooked to perfection. Their dessert selection was hard to choose from, but opted for the orange chocolate cheesecake (yum). The service was top knotch and the view from the 11th floor was special.

An amazing evening, wiith my favorite dining companion. Awesome location especially if your commute only involves an elevator, more on elevators later. Nice little bar With great views and an outside deck with fireplace and heaters, just note no food outside. A little live music occasionally. Small sitting area around bar, note only 1 low table, everything else is a high top. Dinning room is nice with spectacular views of I5 , or the water beyond. Really is nice. Though we admired it from afar, the seafood tower looked AMAZING! We started with the Lobster Bisque @ $17 and the French onion soup@ $14. The Lobster bisque was smooth and velvety on the tongue and had a nice piece of claw meat, something not seen in many places. My French onion soup was good but it would have been better served in a crock. We had the clam chowder the night before and that was great. My companion ordered the Lobster Capellini @ $55 and I ordered the Tuscan Beef Tenderloin Pasta @ $42. Both were outstanding. The tricky part of both dishes is the pasta. You can jazz up any plate with Lobster and Beef Tenderloin but to time the pasta with the proteins, that's the thing. Lobster, Tenderloin and pasta were outrageous. We both loved our plates. As it was my companion's birthday, we both enjoyed a comped desert sampler that complemented our meal. Prices are in keeping with any good restaurant that serves great faire! Get a players card in the casino and get a minimum of 10% discount or more. Also, I believe, Emerald Queen Casino charges no state or local tax on Restaurants. Now, the best part the service! The entire wait staff and bartenders are the star. And 1 star that shines very bright was our waiter, Sam. He was as personable and professional without being overbearing or hovering. We've had great meals that have been ruined by poor service. I sometimes feel like the next "meal" for our wait staff as they hang on you like a vulture. Sam was the final element that made a special evening.

My boyfriend and I were on our way to a reservation at another restaurant in the casino when we noticed advertisements for this restaurant in the elevator. We decided to inquire about the food here instead. This restaurant is conveniently located near the casino and hotel lobby, right by the freeway, and offers a view of the local Tacoma homes. We visited on Valentine's Day around 4:40 PM without a reservation and were fortunate to find seating at the bar. We were informed that the menu here is the same as at their other restaurant. The view was absolutely gorgeous, the ambiance was cozy, and the food was fabulous. While the prices are on the higher end, they are worth it. I ordered the Jumbo Prawns wrapped in bacon and stuffed with crab meat ($45), and my boyfriend had the Cedar Plank Salmon ($39) with a shareable side of asparagus ($13). The staff were very attentive, personable, and professional. This restaurant is excellent for date night, and we can't wait to return to try their Seafood Tower ($125).

We ordered the oysters, chefs burger (OMG), empanadas (delicious) and the star of the show was the prawn and turf (that sauce and sourdough combo was amazing) Literally counting the days till I'm back, golfing at chambers bay and stopping by asado on the way back.

We got the Lomo ($68) and the Parilla Mixta ($50) with the mashed potatoes and the polenta. The last time we came here, they brought out a delicious complimentary bread but it seems like they don't do that anymore. My boyfriend liked his lomo (filet mignon) and it had a nice sear and the chimichurri and demi glace was delicious. My parilla mixta was yummy but the skirt steak was on the blander side and the sausage was nothing special but I really like the shrimp and the polenta was delicious. Overall everything was fresh and the food came out quick and our waitress was really nice. The restaurant wasn't too crowded when we were there but it looked like it was filling up and it is a cute spot for a date night or dinner with friends! It's definitely on the pricier side but we would come back to try their pastas or other dishes!

Server was attentive, very friendly, and knowledgeable. My wife enjoyed a frost cosmo. We then started with roasted calamari (which was quite flavorful, although the meat was a bit tough) and herbed focaccia (wonderful for dipping the calamari sauce). The ahi special and boneless short ribs were our entrees; both came nicely presented and were very tasty. Both pretty full, we ended up with a bourbon chocolate cake and fruit hand pie to go, which were both delicious. The restaurant is not large, and filled up while we were there, making it somewhat noisy, but not bad. It is a nicely appointed, appealing place, with a great team making it all happen. My brother was a chef du cuisine, not a cook. He taught me decades ago how to make a dining experience worthy of people's spending. This was not it. The food was amazing but left the experience me feeling as if I wasted my money. The grumpiness of the individual behind the bar where we sat and ate was showmanship beyond unprofessionalism. When he dropped off drinks...no eye contact, no acknowledgement of our thank yous to him. Utterly embarrassing for the establishment, and for us to support it. If you are that miserable, you should not be outward facing to represent a business. Bartending is an art rooted in many aspects beyond drink making, especially if you are representing a business in service. No offers of drinks with empty drink glasses after rounds 1 and 2. No acknowledgement of empty dishes with wishes of subsequent courses that we were interested in. Yikes, this was bad.

Cooper's hosted one of our Porsche Club breakfast social events, and from start to finish this one was a 10. The food was on point throughout, and considering the size of our group, that's borderline remarkable. Breakfast at Cooper's is flavorful and excellent! Everyone came away impressed, which if you've ever tried to please a table full of hungry car enthusiasts, you know is not a given. Andrea led the service, and she was outstanding. This woman knows how to manage a large, hungry group! To perform this with that kind of calm efficiency is a real skill! The whole team reflected the same energy. They were all attentive, warm, and clearly proud of the place they work in. I can't say enough about the people here. The thoughtful touch that really stood out: Porsche-themed mimosas and breakfast spirits prepared specially for our event. That kind of detail is something a great hospitality team delivers. It set the tone for the whole morning. The space itself is immaculate and the decor is genuinely cool. Those of us who hadn't dined there before were genuinely impressed. Cleanliness here is a point of obvious pride. All in all, Cooper's is a destination for casual quality. Magnificent experience, start to finish, and I can't wait to return!
