    Salmon salad $35

This restaurant looks amazing. I wanted to do a dine in but was limited on time and there was a long wait so I ended up taking a salad to go. It was a nice dinner. I would love to try dining in the next time I'm in town. Please come and create your own adventure.

Wow. This place is excellent. Read good reviews and am usually skeptical. This place does not disappoint. Most of the steaks come on a sizzling plate with sides of oil to put on the hot plate. You slice your steak and rub it on the hot plate. Drinks were delicious, sides were great also. For starters, we had the bone marrow. Delicious. We had the mushrooms, rice, poblanos for sides. For entree, we had Australian Wagyu New York and Ribeye. All great! The cheesecake for dessert was awesome also! Noise level is a little loud for people looking for a romantic experience. The server was amazing, Denzel, thanks! Parking on the other hand, hard to find. If you don't mind walking, park at the lot down the street. It's only $2 for 3 hours. Overall, if you want a good steakhouse experience, come here!

In totality a wonderful experience from setting first foot through door until I had both feet on the sidewalk on my departure.. Servers: well informed, helpful, professiona, polite and all around fantastic. Atmosphere: Cool vibes... a little loud but the place was packed.. Ill take it. Food: Outstanding, had the roasted Bone Marrow, 38oz Porterhouse and the leftover from 2 waygu ribeyes.. Yup, Ive a very healthy meat appetite. The meat all the way about was superb. The porterhouse was expertly cooked, served on a hot slab/plate of stone which kept it just right. Meat was high quality and seasoned wonderfully. The ribey was amazing and rich as one would expect by the type. Australian Waygu .. seems it was S7 or the likes... all in i had 1/2 of two separate steaks and that was a wonderful way to cap off the Porterhouse. Outstanding in every way!!!

Always good to make a reservation. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is not huge but cozy. Food was excellent. Papa Loca (huge baked potato with crema, wagyu, cheese and bacon) big enough to share. Our America Cross Wagyu and Delmonico were cooked to perfection at medium rare sizzling on a hot stone with rock salt. Also enjoyed the bone marrow and chorizo with queso appetizers. Mushroom and broccolini side dishes. Great meal.

Went here to celebrate my son's birthday. Luckily we had a reservation -- which you definitely need on a weekend night, as it was super busy and the hostess told a couple in front of us that they only had bar seating available for the night (we went at 6 pm). Our waiter was fantastic! Super friendly, made great recommendations and explained the menu, and was very attentive. (I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout-out.) The restaurant is clean and the two lantern trees are very pretty. We were seated right by the expediting area (so close you could turn around and touch the people expediting behind you) and I feel like that definitely took away from our experience. We were also brought several orders for other tables which I thought was odd. You get a choice of fresh fruit or mint for your water which I found to be a nice touch. Small beer selection, but does have a full bar. Some of the cocktails others around us were getting had nice presentations to them. Appetizers: Guacamole Casero and Toritos -- both were good, but nothing exceptional. Main courses: Steak Flight: 5/5 -- some of the best steak we've ever had that was cooked to perfect and high quality. Loved how it comes out on a hot stone. Salmon: 4/5 -- it was really good (cooked well and good flavor), but had TONS of bones (finding two or three bones makes sense to me, but there was 12 lager sized bones and that was only because individual stopped eating the salmon due to continuing to find bones on each bite). Arrachera: 4/5 -- good but kind of what you'd expect from a skirt steak Papa Loco: 4/5 -- it was good, but also just a baked potato Just a personal opinion, but when we've dined at higher-end restaurants for a birthday before they have all done a little something to acknowledge the occasion, but this place did nothing which I found a little disappointing.

We were not disappointed! Made reservations about a month in advance. Parking is street or paid parking nearby. No large signage for the restaurant, only on the door. We were sat in the back, which was a more quiet and intimate area, but also much darker. We were seated promptly. Our server was awesome and explained the menu to us. There's a bottle of water that's left at your table and somebody walked around with a platter of things to add to it. There were slices of lemon, lime, orange, cucumber, and mint. Nice touch! During our meal, we had a couple drinks, which all were delicious. We ordered the chorizo queso that came with tortillas and tostadas. We also got the cream cheese stuffed jalapeño peppers topped with bacon crumbles. Not gross, but not exceptional, just what you would expect it to taste like. My husband ordered the fillet wagyu flight and I got the 12 ounce skirt steak. The refried beans that came with my meal were slightly spicy so that was a nice surprise. We also got a side of the fire roasted peppers and they complimented the steak nicely. Biscoff cheesecake for dessert was a win. Another nice touch was at the end of your meal, they brought you a small cup of herbal mint tea to help with digestion. Overall we were very happy with our meal and service. We will be back. Is it worth the drive...yes!

This is a dining experience. Where from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave it's a treat for the senses. Ambiance is lively yet feels intimate. Service is attentive not overbearing. The food. THAT is the Star of the show. The quality of ingredients and the inspired way flavors come together is truly a joy. The steaks are beyond delicious and priced from $40 to over $125. Depending on what you prefer. The sides complement the steaks beautifully and if you can save room, desserts are not to be missed. We stupidly went there during our "dry February". The cocktails looked amazing. So we are definitely returning soon. It is expensive so more of a special occasion or let's splurge kinda place. But if you are going to spend the money it should be worth the money. And wowza is it ever.

We were visiting friends in Gig Harbor and they told us this place was worth the drive. We ordered the Australian Wagyu and the Delmonico as well as a side of broccolini, mushrooms, and a papa loca to share. The Australian Wagyu had a buttery, soft texture that was delicious with the salt to taste. However, my favorite was actually the Delmonico-great cut of meat for a good price, we thought it was the best value! Both meats were already well seasoned, so it didn't really seem like they needed any of the extra sauces, but they were a nice touch! The papa Loca was huge and easy to share among the five of us-it could easily be an entrée on its own as well. Definitely recommend meeting reservations ahead of time. We had a 415 reservation, and when we lined up outside before they opened, there was already a large crowd gathering-so this place is definitely popular. Elevated steakhouse that's great to celebrate for a date night or special occasion!

    Old fashioned (subbed with mezcal)
    Matthew P.

Reservations are absolutely needed -- we had an 8:30 slot and the place was packed. We started with cocktails: mezcal Old Fashioneds (subbed for whiskey) and a classic margarita. The mezcal Old Fashioned was aggressively smoky in the best way, not watered down, and the margarita was clean and balanced. Strong drinks, fair pricing. For starters, we ordered the bone marrow and the toritos. Both hit exactly how you want an appetizer to hit -- rich, flavorful, and satisfying without killing your appetite. Perfect pacing. The staff actually listened to our preferences and steered us toward the right steak options. Everything comes out on a ripping-hot griddle, which lets you keep searing slices as you eat. This isn't a gimmick -- it genuinely works. You can get a fresh crust on each cut if you want. We went with the 16oz ribeye. Easily the best steak I've had. Perfectly seasoned, no overthinking, just full beef flavor. It came with a smoky tomato salsa that added acidity to cut through the fat, plus a chimichurri with really good olive oil. Simple, smart accompaniments that actually enhance the steak instead of distracting from it. Sides were a mixed bag. The mushrooms were fine but not something I'd reorder. The baked potato with steak was excellent and ideal for sharing. The corn with onions and poblanos was the standout -- creamy, a little spicy, and genuinely memorable. The vibe is great -- lively, warm, feels like a place meant for a night out. Yes, it's expensive, but it felt worth it. Nothing felt phoned in. Best steak of my life. This is a special-occasion spot for me now, and I'll absolutely be back.

1 hiccup , no reservations for 3.. busy 4 a Tues. Seating lady had no tables avail, sent us to bar , not ideal with grandma but ok .. then I realized no we will wait for table here's my name . For a slight second I felt a certain way THEN a manager helps silently and under breath realizes her mistake or deliberate mistake ? We were seated just so happen empty seats clearly avail .. she was very clear and sure nothing was avail .. funny we spent over 300$ to the manager who even watched from afar to my table "I see you" the food was amazing , server Issac was great and knew the menu ! I will be back ms Ma'am your body language sent me a vibe that your manager corrected .. much appreciated sir

I went here for my birthday dinner. Due to it being so expensive, it's definitely a special occasion type of restaurant. I got the Delmonico. It came on a sizzling platter which I like. The papa loca was nothing special od a baked potato with the only ex option of it being topped with steak. The carne en su jugo was very delicious. The meat in it was perfect but the beans seemed like they weren't thoroughly cook. The ambiance is set like a speak easy. The esthetic needs work in the back room. It is just dimly lit and not comparable to the front entrance decor. Overall, my opinion is I've been there once and that's good enough for me since I wasnt really impressed by anything spectacular.

We had an amazing dinner at Cuerno Bravo Steakhouse in Tacoma. From the start, the cocktails were incredibly creative and delicious; clearly crafted with care and imagination. The steak selection was outstanding, cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the non-steak entrées were just as impressive. The Papa Loco potato was a standout, and the fish tacos were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The location and ambiance really elevate the experience. The bar area is inviting, and the trees with the lanterns on the property create a warm, upscale atmosphere that feels very relaxing. Service was awesome from start to finish--attentive, friendly, and professional. Emily truly helped make the evening special, she's amazing! Highly recommend Cuerno Bravo for a memorable dining experience in Tacoma. We will definitely be back, SOON!

Must visit! Exceptional experience throughout with great attention to detail and friendly, patient and knowledgeable staff (Issac?) We were seated in the back lounge that held about 10 2 tops. My only complaint was the incredibly dim lighting that is only in that back area. I saw several people using flashlights or table candle to read the menu. As seated we were offered a board of citrus slices to accompany our water. Alcohol drink were presented with flair and smoke/fire. Everything was well timed and explained. Bone Marrow appetizer was flavorful and delicious. Steaks were well presented and explained and had accompanying sauces and salt that made an already top notch steak even better. Rice pudding was good enough to get a couple extra to go. A must visit for special occasions or just cause you made it through the week.

Australian Wagyu ribeye and assorted sauces.

Going for our 40th Anniversary with my wife. Is there an area or table in the venue to recommend? Any tables or areas of the restaurant to avoid?

Make sure you don't sit in back by the restrooms. Completely a different vibe. Rest of space is solid. Happy Anniversary! Cuerno is sooo good!

    Best sides to order?

    Papa Loca for sure!

Do they take cash payment?Or is it only card?

We take cash and card payment.

    Is there a dress code?

No dress code that I was able to tell, no. People were dressed modestly but it's not a snooty place at all :)

    Is food price expensive?

Compared to other steakhouses I would say the price is fair. Also depends on the quality of meat you prefer of course! On average with a cocktail included I spend around $200 with tip for dinner for my wife and I.

    Any vegan options?

    It's a steakhouse

Can they seat more than 6? Reservations are for 6 max.

Tables didn't seem that big. I'm sure they could but y'all might be at different tables unless they can push them together.

Is there good family sharing options?

All of the side dishes are sharing size.

    Is there patio dining?

    Nope.

    Any gluten free options?

Steaks, salads, baked potatoes. I would imagine several more items.

Since there is no children's menu, may children share a plate without ordering a full meal?

Sure we share all the food.

A few months ago we went and everything was 'off' nothing like it used to be. Service and food were both subpar. Knowing how many wonderful meals we've had there we gave them the benefit of the doubt, everyone/everywhere has bad nights. Unfortunately, we went back tonight and were shocked to find the restaurant nearly empty. We got a table in the bar so my husband could keep an eye on the basketball game. and while service was better it wasn't great, food was dropped off by someone who said not a word, literally dropped plates and walked away, and food was good but not the standout it once was, drink was also pretty awful. So sad to see such a shining star of a place in Tacoma fall so far. Seeing almost empty on a Saturday night confirmed it's not just us that has noticed such sad changes to the place.

Everyone came away impressed, which if you've ever tried to please a table full of hungry car enthusiasts, you know is not a given. Andrea led the service, and she was outstanding. This woman knows how to manage a large, hungry group! To perform this with that kind of calm efficiency is a real skill! The whole team reflected the same energy. They were all attentive, warm, and clearly proud of the place they work in. I can't say enough about the people here. The thoughtful touch that really stood out: Porsche-themed mimosas and breakfast spirits prepared specially for our event. That kind of detail is something a great hospitality team delivers.
