    Baked potato

We had a wonderful meal and would absolutely recommend the food. The steak flight was excellent, and the giant baked potato was perfect for sharing -both were memorable and very well prepared. My only constructive feedback is about the pace of service. The staff were friendly and attentive, but we felt overly rushed throughout the meal. Over the course of about six minutes, four different people asked whether they could clear our plates or remove the board used to present the steak flight, even though there were still vegetables on it and we were clearly still enjoying our meal. We certainly appreciate attentive service, but for a lovely and relatively expensive dining experience like this, guests should also feel comfortable slowing down and savoring the meal if they choose. We ended up being in and out in about 45 minutes, largely because the repeated attempts to clear the table made us feel as though we needed to hurry. The food was excellent, and the staff were genuinely friendly. With just a little more attention to the guest's preferred pace, the overall experience would have matched the quality of the meal.

If you haven't eaten here, it's a must. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Prices are a little high, but I'd say it was worth it because it's a pretty fancy place I say. I didn't try the alcoholic drinks, but the people I was with were impressed with theirs. The restrooms were clean too. Great experience and I'll definitely come back.

This food is good but not as good enough for the price point. I would definitely come back for the baked potato and a drink, but that's it. To be fair, I've had high grade wagyu in Japan, LA, and Vegas so maybe I'm just being snooty. Although a side, the potato was huge and delicious enough for a meal! The steak that was in the potato was much better than the wagyu. We also got a queso with chorizo app and that was good but also not worth the price. The drinks were quite fancy and some even came with a torch fire "Oooh, ahhh" effect. Service was of course amazing. there is seating in the front that is very bright and open with a tree design to give a "wow" factor upon walking in. towards the back is a section with very low light "date night" feel.

This restaurant looks amazing. I wanted to do a dine in but was limited on time and there was a long wait so I ended up taking a salad to go. It was a nice dinner. I would love to try dining in the next time I'm in town. Please come and create your own adventure.

It was a great choice to visit for my husband's birthday. Our 3 steak filet mignon sampler was Amazing! All were tender and delicious. The Wagu 5 was especially fork tender, so delicious! We also enjoyed our sides of roasted mushrooms and carrots. Kudos to our waiter (Ronie V)! He was friendly and explained the menu choices in a professional and knowledgeable manner. We will return to Cuerno Bravo for our Anniversary in August!

Papa loco, ultimate filet, rainbow carrots, grandmas rice

We were looking for a nice steakhouse to go to for our anniversary and a coworker told me about his visit here about a year ago and spoke highly of it so we decided to give it a try. How this place receives anything less than a 5 star review is beyond me. People claiming it's not good for the price and it's literally the best meal I have ever had in my life. We got lucky and were able to make last minute reservations, I noted anniversary in the requests and I think that got us seated very quickly in the darker, more intimate and slightly more quiet area of the restaurant. Our server was Jace who was super knowledgeable about the menu and informative on the sauces, how he recommends to sear and use them etc. 10/10 service really. They serve room temp water with no ice which I don't love but a very nice touch is they bring by a board of fresh citrus, mint, and cucumber if you'd like to spritz up your water. I really liked that. I also ordered a no pain (NA) and to my surprise and he lit it on fire and it made a tall beautiful flame with bright "sparks" to me it was amazing. I wish I knew he was going to do that so I could have recorded. Next time for sure. My boyfriend and I both ordered the ultimate filet. It was the most fine piece of meat I have ever had and on this menu it was mid range in price. It was worth every penny my boyfriend paid for it. I had no idea steak could taste so amazing. I've also never had a filet. It comes out beautifully charred, cooked to perfection and on a hot stone that will continue to cook or reheat your slices if you are savoring the taste and experience like I was. Sides are extra, we shared the papa loco 10/10, seasonal veggies 7/10 bc I like my carrots more soft roasted but I would easily order these again and the grandmas rice - boring and don't recommend unless you're getting a side dish that pairs well with it but we thought it was going to be more like risotto or creamy but it just seemed like normal rice. They do bring out bottomless gravy dishes of 2 salsas, pickled onions - my fave and pico de gaillo also very good. I enjoyed the red salsa too. The green avocado salsa I don't think I would use again but my BF liked it. From the presentation, to the service to the food (winner!) everything was more than I could have expected. Sadly I did not have room for dessert but I hope next time I will. A great cap for the night is they bring you a cute little (and effective) pallet cleansing mint tea before you go. I can't say more about this place. I have thought about it every day since we celebrated our anniversary there but I am pretty sure steaks anywhere else are ruined for me now. Oh parking sucks.

Wow. This place is excellent. Read good reviews and am usually skeptical. This place does not disappoint. Most of the steaks come on a sizzling plate with sides of oil to put on the hot plate. You slice your steak and rub it on the hot plate. Drinks were delicious, sides were great also. For starters, we had the bone marrow. Delicious. We had the mushrooms, rice, poblanos for sides. For entree, we had Australian Wagyu New York and Ribeye. All great! The cheesecake for dessert was awesome also! Noise level is a little loud for people looking for a romantic experience. The server was amazing, Denzel, thanks! Parking on the other hand, hard to find. If you don't mind walking, park at the lot down the street. It's only $2 for 3 hours. Overall, if you want a good steakhouse experience, come here!

In totality a wonderful experience from setting first foot through door until I had both feet on the sidewalk on my departure.. Servers: well informed, helpful, professiona, polite and all around fantastic. Atmosphere: Cool vibes... a little loud but the place was packed.. Ill take it. Food: Outstanding, had the roasted Bone Marrow, 38oz Porterhouse and the leftover from 2 waygu ribeyes.. Yup, Ive a very healthy meat appetite. The meat all the way about was superb. The porterhouse was expertly cooked, served on a hot slab/plate of stone which kept it just right. Meat was high quality and seasoned wonderfully. The ribey was amazing and rich as one would expect by the type. Australian Waygu .. seems it was S7 or the likes... all in i had 1/2 of two separate steaks and that was a wonderful way to cap off the Porterhouse. Outstanding in every way!!!

The service was good. The location isn't great and there is no parking provided. The ambience is okay, despite the two "trees" placed in the middle of the restaurant. The food is delicious. However, the dessert list is lacking. They only offered two desserts. I can see why so many people say not to be seated in the back of the house by the bathrooms...it isn't pleasant. Definitely sit in the front section, if you can. Our server didn't provide us with any tea at the end of our meal so I was disappointed. My husband says he would definitely go back. I feel I would rather dine at El Goucho or Smoke & Cedar since they provide parking and the ambiance is better. Cuerno Bravo was okay. Not great, not poor. Food good. Parking bad. Ambience ... just okay. The price: reasonable.

Went here to celebrate my son's birthday. Luckily we had a reservation -- which you definitely need on a weekend night, as it was super busy and the hostess told a couple in front of us that they only had bar seating available for the night (we went at 6 pm). Our waiter was fantastic! Super friendly, made great recommendations and explained the menu, and was very attentive. (I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout-out.) The restaurant is clean and the two lantern trees are very pretty. We were seated right by the expediting area (so close you could turn around and touch the people expediting behind you) and I feel like that definitely took away from our experience. We were also brought several orders for other tables which I thought was odd. You get a choice of fresh fruit or mint for your water which I found to be a nice touch. Small beer selection, but does have a full bar. Some of the cocktails others around us were getting had nice presentations to them. Appetizers: Guacamole Casero and Toritos -- both were good, but nothing exceptional. Main courses: Steak Flight: 5/5 -- some of the best steak we've ever had that was cooked to perfect and high quality. Loved how it comes out on a hot stone. Salmon: 4/5 -- it was really good (cooked well and good flavor), but had TONS of bones (finding two or three bones makes sense to me, but there was 12 lager sized bones and that was only because individual stopped eating the salmon due to continuing to find bones on each bite). Arrachera: 4/5 -- good but kind of what you'd expect from a skirt steak Papa Loco: 4/5 -- it was good, but also just a baked potato Just a personal opinion, but when we've dined at higher-end restaurants for a birthday before they have all done a little something to acknowledge the occasion, but this place did nothing which I found a little disappointing.

We were not disappointed! Made reservations about a month in advance. Parking is street or paid parking nearby. No large signage for the restaurant, only on the door. We were sat in the back, which was a more quiet and intimate area, but also much darker. We were seated promptly. Our server was awesome and explained the menu to us. There's a bottle of water that's left at your table and somebody walked around with a platter of things to add to it. There were slices of lemon, lime, orange, cucumber, and mint. Nice touch! During our meal, we had a couple drinks, which all were delicious. We ordered the chorizo queso that came with tortillas and tostadas. We also got the cream cheese stuffed jalapeño peppers topped with bacon crumbles. Not gross, but not exceptional, just what you would expect it to taste like. My husband ordered the fillet wagyu flight and I got the 12 ounce skirt steak. The refried beans that came with my meal were slightly spicy so that was a nice surprise. We also got a side of the fire roasted peppers and they complimented the steak nicely. Biscoff cheesecake for dessert was a win. Another nice touch was at the end of your meal, they brought you a small cup of herbal mint tea to help with digestion. Overall we were very happy with our meal and service. We will be back. Is it worth the drive...yes!

This is a dining experience. Where from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave it's a treat for the senses. Ambiance is lively yet feels intimate. Service is attentive not overbearing. The food. THAT is the Star of the show. The quality of ingredients and the inspired way flavors come together is truly a joy. The steaks are beyond delicious and priced from $40 to over $125. Depending on what you prefer. The sides complement the steaks beautifully and if you can save room, desserts are not to be missed. We stupidly went there during our "dry February". The cocktails looked amazing. So we are definitely returning soon. It is expensive so more of a special occasion or let's splurge kinda place. But if you are going to spend the money it should be worth the money. And wowza is it ever.

We were visiting friends in Gig Harbor and they told us this place was worth the drive. We ordered the Australian Wagyu and the Delmonico as well as a side of broccolini, mushrooms, and a papa loca to share. The Australian Wagyu had a buttery, soft texture that was delicious with the salt to taste. However, my favorite was actually the Delmonico-great cut of meat for a good price, we thought it was the best value! Both meats were already well seasoned, so it didn't really seem like they needed any of the extra sauces, but they were a nice touch! The papa Loca was huge and easy to share among the five of us-it could easily be an entrée on its own as well. Definitely recommend meeting reservations ahead of time. We had a 415 reservation, and when we lined up outside before they opened, there was already a large crowd gathering-so this place is definitely popular. Elevated steakhouse that's great to celebrate for a date night or special occasion!

Cuerno Bravo Prime Steakhouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Cuerno Bravo Prime Steakhouse

Buying a gift card for a couple celebrating their anniversary. Would a $250 card be enough for dinner and drinks?

I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary and it was over $350. We each got steaks, a beer, a virgin drink and 3 sides. So if it's just mid level steaks and 1 drink each, $250 would be enough.

Going for our 40th Anniversary with my wife. Is there an area or table in the venue to recommend? Any tables or areas of the restaurant to avoid?

Make sure you don't sit in back by the restrooms. Completely a different vibe. Rest of space is solid. Happy Anniversary! Cuerno is sooo good!

    Best sides to order?

    Papa Loca for sure!

Do they take cash payment?Or is it only card?

We take cash and card payment.

    Is there a dress code?

No dress code that I was able to tell, no. People were dressed modestly but it's not a snooty place at all :)

    Is food price expensive?

Compared to other steakhouses I would say the price is fair. Also depends on the quality of meat you prefer of course! On average with a cocktail included I spend around $200 with tip for dinner for my wife and I.

    Any vegan options?

    It's a steakhouse

Can they seat more than 6? Reservations are for 6 max.

Tables didn't seem that big. I'm sure they could but y'all might be at different tables unless they can push them together.

Is there good family sharing options?

All of the side dishes are sharing size.

    Is there patio dining?

    Nope.

    Any gluten free options?

Steaks, salads, baked potatoes. I would imagine several more items.

Since there is no children's menu, may children share a plate without ordering a full meal?

Sure we share all the food.

Hello, is this 21 and up or are children allowed?

HI Lucie, We do allow children, however, we do not have a kids menu, booster seats or high…

Are you associated with asadero sinolla in Kent?

    Yes, same owners

    Do you take reservations?

    Yes

Is there a Cork fee? I don't see one on the drink menu.

    I think it's $25

My boyfriend liked his lomo (filet mignon) and it had a nice sear and the chimichurri and demi glace was delicious. My parilla mixta was yummy but the skirt steak was on the blander side and the sausage was nothing special but I really like the shrimp and the polenta was delicious. Overall everything was fresh and the food came out quick and our waitress was really nice. The restaurant wasn't too crowded when we were there but it looked like it was filling up and it is a cute spot for a date night or dinner with friends! We decided to stop in for a Saturday lunch and knew we were in for a treat as soon as we pulled up as the smell of charred meat wafted through the vents outside. We arrived right when they opened and we were the first party through the door. Surprisingly, it didn't get very crowded at all through our meal - even at noon there were only three other parties. Service was stellar, especially since there weren't many customers to deal with. The waiter continuously checked in with us and we never wanted for anything. Shortly after being led to our table, the waiter brought over a fresh tray of garnishes for our water, including lime, lemon, orange, mint, and cucumber. What a great touch! We then got a flight of four salsa accompaniments. The first being a pickled onion, interestingly tasting kind of like ginger and soy sauce with a slight sweetness that compliments the vinegar base. The second was a typical pico de gallo mix, but with a totally different spice mixture. I'm not entirely sure what's in it, but it's more than just the typical salt. The third was a light and refreshing avocado based salsa, while the last was a sharp tangy and spicy salsa, light molasses in color, and flecked with black and white specks. A charred tomato base, perhaps? Papa Loca ($19.99) - Asadero prime provides a HUGE potato, one of the largest that I've ever seen. I'm wondering how they even source these - I've never seen anything this big at farmers markets or at grocery stores. Anyway, it's baked to absolute perfection. The skin-on exterior leaves a tiny crisp, but the interior is so soft and fluffy it almost feels like mashed potato in texture. The potato is served steaming hot and it's scored with two long knife strokes, allowing the cornucopia of toppings to penetrate into the depths of the starchy masterpiece. The toppings include some baked potato classics - the decadent sour cream, the melty, fatty blend of cheeses, and of course the meat - bacon and Wagyu carne asada. The carne asada is cut into little niblets. Rather than an entire steak as with the entrees, I believe they use off cuts and trimmings here, as I found the meat to be somewhat sinewy and fatty, making it hard to chew on. It has great char flavor though! (4.5/5) La Carne Asada ($35.99) - The dish first comes with a large pieces of thinly cut carne asada. It's cooked until well done, but is still tender and is great quality with all the gristly bits trimmed off. It's simple and flavorful but with one issue - it came to the table already lukewarm in temperature. For the proteins, there's also a small chorizo sausage. It's heavily spiced, soft and coarse, lacking emulsification, in texture. It falls apart easily when removed from the case. For the veggies, there's a slightly charred green chile with a spice that builds. It's mostly raw, only the skin is charred just a bit to be able to flake off. Similarly, there's a large green onion that lightly charred, crisp and fresh in spicy allium flavor. Finally, there's a chile relleno with a simple green chile cut in half and filled with broiled, melty cheese. Yum! The two side accompanies come in little cups. The first is a refried bean sauce which I disliked immensely. It's drippy, watery in texture and it tastes overwhelmingly of lard. I wouldn't be surprised if it were at least 50% lard. The second cup is a salsa that looks somewhat similar to the fourth salsa in the flight but tastes completely different. It's smoky and mild with a fire roasted tomato base. An order also comes with four tortillas, with a choice of either corn or flour. The corn tortillas are hand made in house while the flour ones are purchased. It's obvious which one to go with. The corn tortillas are soft and easily foldable without breaking, fresh and spongy. They don't give enough for the amount of meat though! (4.5/5) Both dishes we ordered had some minor issues, but overall they were delicious. I can't say I go all the way down to Kent very often, but luckily Asadero has another location in Ballard I can visit if I ever get another craving for Mexican influenced steaks. The restaurant itself if beautiful and has wonderful views! Such a perfect spot for Summer Happy Hour. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The portions are just right and the flavors and quality are outstanding! I couldn't wait to leave just so we could come back again! I would also like to mention (I wish I could remember her name), our waitress was so knowledgeable and helpful! Obviously we wanted to try a little bit of everything and she definitely steered us in the right direction. I will be coming back over and over again!

Our waiter was attentive, kept our water glasses full throughout the meal, and boxed up our leftovers for us without us even having to ask. My partner ordered the Cajun Seafood Pasta ($28), and it was absolutely delicious. It was rich, full of flavor, and seasoned really well. I ordered the Connecticut Lobster Roll ($42), which came with warm lobster on a buttery roll and a side of house-made potato chips. The lobster was tender, and the buttery flavor really made the sandwich stand out. We also took a slice of the peanut butter pie ($14) to go, and it was incredibly rich, creamy, and packed with peanut butter flavor. A perfect dessert if you're a peanut butter lover. The only thing I'd love to see is a few more non-alcoholic drink options, but it definitely didn't take away from an overall excellent experience. We'd happily come back and would recommend giving this place a try!

From the comfortable…read moreenvironment, great-tasting food, and its STELLAR Employees, this place is a perfect place to enjoy a night out or to celebrate a birthday (which was the reason we were there tonight.) I reserved a table (for a large party of 9) conveniently on Open Table which made the process easy and effortless two days prior to our reservation. On the day of our reservation I received a call from a very friendly staff member Jace (forgive my spelling if it's incorrect) who confirmed our reservation and also asked if we had kids in our party because of the age restriction for the outside seating. I thought that was very considerate of him to do so as he was being proactive and courteous at the same time! When I checked in, I immediately was greeted by Jace who was beyond welcoming in person as he was on the phone. He guided us to our table and made us all feel welcome. We then were presented with our hardworking and endearing Server Kat who was so patient with all of us, was proactive in setting up plates for our Birthday cake (we had brought with us - as we were granted with permission by the restaurant). Throughout our experience, Kat took care of our needs, fulfilled our delicious food orders with accuracy, and the other hardworking Server Ethan also ensured our drinks were filled. Seriously, the Employees are what made our celebratory Birthday even more special!! And also, our the wonderful Manager Brandon made sure we were all taken care of and even personally said goodbye as he walked with us out the door! We only live down the street from this restaurant as my husband and I have lived in Washington for about three years. But rest assure we will be coming back again and again because of the great food but more importantly of the Employees - Jace, Kat, Ethan, and Brandon....and the rest of the Restaurant!

I got loads of ground beef, ground pork, and steaks because I do so much meal prepping. We got it all frozen, probably spent well over $300. Everything in our entire order was rancid. Brown and smells absolutely god awful. I've waited many months to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if any of it was good. It was not. I even went to Stewart's meats out in Roy (where we normally buy big meat packages from) and did a test trial. Let them defrost in the fridge for a day or so. Northwest meats was brown and had a foul odor, Stewart's meats was juicy with blood and no odor at all. Conclusion made. They sold us rotten meat. Not cool for the food industry. Have some standards. That could have made someone really sick had they not known and eaten any of it.

My husband and I are used to meat markets nearby and we immediately noticed that this place smells so much better. They have a wide range of meats. We purchased two beautiful ribeye steaks, some goat meat and also some lamb meat. Definitely amazing. Quality meat and great prices! They have a little grocery section with various sodas and desserts which are incredible. Try this place out. You will not be disappointed!

I came with a party of 9, we ordered a few appetizers for the table, most of the party ordered drinks and we all got a meal. My filet and mashed potatoes were great, everything was perfectly seasoned, we also got the asparagus with hollandaise sauce (we ended up asking for more sauce since there wasn't much on the asparagus, but we weren't charged for it.). Onto the service, our waitress Alicia seemed like she just didn't want to be there. She spilled my glass of water all over the table cloth and the seat and didn't completely clean it up. The tablecloth, that was now soaking wet, was not replaced, so I had to sit in a wet booth and put a napkin on my lap as to not get my legs wet. To top it off, she didn't even refill my drink, it wasn't until I asked, that I got more water. Once our food was brought to our table, another staff member was helping to bring the food out and she snapped at him very rudely in front of the whole table. To make matters worse, we went to the front to ask that the music be turned down because it was very loud and we had someone hard of hearing at our table who wasn't able to hear anyone. The girl acted like she cared, but once we walked away, quickly went over and was obviously talking about us to a co-worker and the music got louder. Overall, it was a terrible experience from a service standpoint, especially for a fine dining establishment. At those prices, I expected a lot better, as did the rest of our party. I am from out of town, but my sister and all of her friends are from here and they will not be returning.

We had a couple of glasses of their Spanish and Chilean wines. The wines tasted vintage and made for a great start to the evening. We got the empanadas tapas which was decent. The bread and compound butter board was pretty solid. The highlight of the night was supposed to be the super expensive Paella. While the rice was al dente, it was unevenly cooked and their oven finish left the rice dry at the bottom. The saffron was barely noticeable and the sauce lacked good flavor, felt more like a seafood broth. Truly disappointing! Plus they billed me incorrectly which was a pain to get corrected.
