And I'm only taking the drastic step of writing such a negative review because I've had problems with this store going back two years and three sets of glasses. I also don't want to impact the guys at the front, who have been absolute Princes in helping me through the issues. I have a running joke with Mattie and James of Eyes Over DFW: They see me coming into their various offices so often we joke that I'm stalking them everywhere they go. FIRST ISSUE: Two years ago I ordered two pairs of glasses, one for up-close computer work and one for driving. They came back with the lenses switched, which I only discovered once I was driving on the notoriously dangerous highways of DFW and realized I couldn't read the road signs. James reordered them without complaint, even allowing me to pick out replacement frames in the Dallas office that were more expensive than my insurance allowance. SECOND ISSUE: More recently, because I was about to move from Dallas to Fort Worth temporarily, I asked that my glasses be delivered to the TSO store on Camp Bowie, about a mile from my rental instead of the 40 miles I'd have to drive back to Dallas to pick them up. But TSO overlooked that request and sent them back to Dallas, requiring me to wait another week for glasses I needed to drive safely. THIRD ISSUE: Yesterday I was standing at the sink and heard a tiny "tink" sound and one of the lenses dropped out of my frames. I'd barely had them a week, only cleaned them 2 or 3 times, and because I've been wearing glasses for more than 60 years, know how to handle delicate eyeglasses. I've reported this all and now wait hopefully to see if this latest problem will be resolved.

As a proud US Air Force Veteran, I wanted to share my positive experiences through this 5-STAR feedback. I came across TSO - Fort Worth after my initial referral could not see me for several weeks. I Googled TSO locations close to JRB NAS Fort Worth, which is when I discovered this location. After reading many 5-STAR reviews, I decided to try TSO - Dr. Johnson, and it was a great decision. Firstly, Dr. Johnson agreed to see me the same day and perform my annual eye exam while also addressing my eye issue. I was given a convenient appointment, allowing me to complete all required documentation and insurance info online. When I arrived at this well-maintained, modern office, I was greeted with a big smile and a Texas welcome by Reyna, TSO's newest team member. Jade, who has been with TSO for a while, also greeted me. They quickly located my appointment and verified my info. There was a minor issue with my insurance, and Reyna then sought the assistance of the Office Manager, Jenny. Jenny came out to the front desk, introduced herself, and promptly resolved the minor issue with my insurance. Her skill in dealing with insurance companies and her ability to bypass long wait times was impressive. Within a concise while, Jenny escorted me to the private rooms to receive my annual eye exam and service from Dr. Johnson. Prior to Dr. Johnson's intervention, Daniela then proceeded with my initial vision exams. This was another smooth process, and Daniela, like her co-workers, provided great service, coupled with wonderful hospitality. Her technical expertise with the high-tech vision equipment was also impressive. Dr. Johnson then provided a thorough review and was meticulous in his actions and vision services. The first thing he did after his greeting to me was to thank me for my military service. He also provided detailed explanations and took the time to discuss my prior history, although it was with other eye physicians. He never rushed, nor did he provide unnecessary services. His extensive knowledge and experience impressed me, culminating in an outstanding first visit. I returned a few days later for a follow-on appointment and again received superb service from Dr. Johnson, Reyna, Jade, Daniela, and Jenny, but I also interacted with Macy and Michelle. Once again, I was warmly greeted and had a brief wait time, followed by outstanding follow-up service. This TSO location is now my preferred eye care location, and my only regret is not discovering this excellent eye care facility earlier. Throughout my visits, I observed the individual and caring service each TSO staff rendered to every customer, led by Dr. Johnson's medical expertise. As you review the multitude of 5-STAR reviews, I can confirm they are accurate and also highly recommend this exceptional TSO facility. I interviewed both and had no qualms regarding with the first surgeon's lens replacement recommendation except for the fact it didn't fulfill my need for eliminating the use of contacts or glasses post operatively. The second surgeon, Dr Mueller, listened to my needs, performed a thorough examination, removed the cataracts and inserted a multi focal lens that restored my vision to a 20/20 level I haven't had since I was a teenager. His approach during the initial interview and exam was very thorough, giving me the confidence for accepting him as my surgeon and his recommendations. His surgical skills are beyond exceptional and his office staff, the best I have ever experienced. From the initial check-in to the handling all the insurance and financial paperwork was as smooth as it gets.
