    Pick up window

I placed an order online. It's easy to navigate the website. Picked up my food from the To Go window. Took less than a minute. The young man that retrieved my order was nice. I ordered the fried catfish with a baked potato and mac & cheese, plus a side of seasoned rice. The food was hot and well seasoned except for the mac & cheese, it was also extremely dry. The rice and mac weren't filled to the top of the containers, I felt cheated. The rolls were fresh and delicious. I had a great dinner.

Tonight was not the usual visit. Missing food items and no to go boxes. Who ever does the ordering is slacking. Three of our five meals came out wrong. We were also told one of the meals was not available after we waited 30 minutes after ordering.

Texas Roadhouse is my favorite place for reasonably priced ribeye. I visited this location recently with some family. We went on a weekend during lunch hours so there was no wait. The service was good, quick, friendly. Drinks and food came out in a good sequence and dishes were cleared as needed. I splurged on a sweet tea during this visit and it did not let me down! It was amazing. If you like sweet tea, you have to try theirs. We started with rattlesnake bites which is also a favorite. It's deep fried pepperjack cheese served with their delicious housemade ranch. YUM! For a meal I went with my "usual" 12 oz ribeye, sweet potato and salad no tomato, ranch on the side. Their steaks have the best seasoning - so good I buy it to use at home - and their salads are well dressed with hard boiled egg and homemade croutons. They are consistent which I love so I can order this same meal at any of their locations and know it will be a good experience! Overall this was a good visit at this location. I highly recommend it!

Narrow aisle they tried to seat us in w high chair

This was our 3rd visit to the Arnold location in about as many months. As usual the place was clean, the food was very good, and particularly the steak cooked perfectly to order. We arrived at 3:30PM right as they opened and the restaurant was largely just staff standing around talking and a few seated customers. The seating service at this location is hit and miss for us because I think, we are a larger family with young kids. On this visit our hostess first tried to seat us in the bar area at a high top... which was not going to work because we need a high chair which sits on the floor. Next she tried to seat us in a booth but a high chair was not allowed in the narrow aisle, so then she took us to another booth in a room away from an aisle, though the booth seat was so close to the table it did not accommodate our infant's carrier on the seat itself. I pointed to an immediate adjacent larger square table we'd comfortably dined at on our first visit but was told the table was currently "closed." After 3 unsuccessful moves back and forth across the restaurant, I asked to speak to a manager. "Matt" arrived and I quickly explained the hassle we'd experienced and while appearing sympathetic, he did nothing to actually resolve the problem. I again asked about the large table for us (7 people) and he described how the serving rotation would be impacted if we were to sit there, now. I was flabbergasted that a manager was more concerned about handling their internal server rotation than with just getting us seated comfortably and at this point, quickly. Exasperated with the vacillation, I pointed to another booth that was in the same area and he excitedly agreed to sit us there. Cassie was our server, as she was on our very first visit months earlier and she was excellent throughout the meal, truly the highlight of Texas Roadhouse personnel today. The food and server were both great! The hostess function & manger were found sorely wanting. Even with a struggling young hostess, the manager should have absolutely perceived our frustration and resolved to seat us in the better and unoccupied table literally 5 feet from where we were presently conversing and "manage" the roster away from the now dining customer. Today, the servers seemed to be a greater priority to management than the paying customer. But Cassie... a very helpful server with a good attitude.

I haven't been to Texas Roadhouse in years and revisiting did not disappoint. I checked in online and got in and seated pretty much immediately. Our server C J was prompt, attentive, and very kind! I ordered a 6 oz sirloin with ribs (no sauce) and a Caesar salad (not photoed - ate too fast) and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. I also wanted to try the Texas Peach Fuzz drink and that was fabulous as well. Despite how busy it was, it wasn't too loud, everything came quickly, and I had a wonderful visit. I look forward to my next meal!

So for the late post but better late .... So we were in the area and haven't had roadhouse in a while so we stopped by. All the food was cooked to perfection and our sever AMY provided stellar service. The prices were so much reasonable for the amount and quality. No wonder there was a long wait to get in. (Well worth it) oh yeah on that not I forgot what the name of the 3 females and gentlemen out front was but they was awesome in getting Everyone in and seated in a timely manner

Peyton FTW! We visited Texas Roadhouse not too long after opening for the day and I couldn't be any happier with our visit. Let me just start this by saying how good the employees were. From the hostess to the server to the bussers. We found them exceptional. Polite, personable, and quick with everything. Peyton was our server and she was extremely attentive and had a smile on the entire time. We were seated right away, of course, it being not too long after opening. Peyton came over very shortly after, gave us a good welcome and took our drink orders. They soon came and our food order was taken. It took about 15 minutes for our food to hit the table, and from then on it was just a perfect mix of being able to eat in peace and being checked on to make sure everything was ok. Drinks were replace before even being empty. I won't go through the entire visit but the food was great, everything cooked exactly as ordered, we didn't find many flaws in anything. If I had to guess I'm guessing a good part of the not-so-stellar reviews come from people visiting at 6-7pm on a friday or saturday night when the restaurant (ALL restaurants) is at it's busiest. If you don't want to wait 25-45 minutes for a table and having issues then either don't go out to popular restaurants at those hours, stay home, or hit a fast food place. We will definitely be going back and hope we catch the same server - we might ask for her by name, in fact. Pictures along with this (short) review.

Rare steak with dark dark red throughout inside.

We were expecting a special dinner for my family. It was my husband, me & my 11 year old granddaughter. We all ordered sirloin but my husband's steak was 16oz. My & my granddaughter's steaks were 8 oz. We all ordered the steaks medium rare. My husband's steak was perfect. Mine & my granddaughter's was very rare. We sent it back even though we hate to send anything back. Came back 10 minutes later when my husband was done eating his steak with both steaks even more raw. The manager was standing right there. Nothing he could say. He gave us $25 off but seriously? These were 2 steaks that cost $17 each. This was such a bad experience. Not only did the steaks suck but the lien of tables didn't have any light. Although the place had plenty of open tables with lights, we got seated without lights & were just told that construction messed up a line of lights & people are having to use the lights on their phone to eat. Fun night...not. Will not come back to this location. The only good thing was our waitress was very sweet- Amy.

Average steaks but the Rolls and Cheap Drinks make it worth it. Started with THE ROLLS can't beat them the cinnamon honey butter is the reason I come here and it's unlimited. My boyfriend got a full slab of ribs and he liked them them they were falling off the bone! I got the sirloin and shrimp the first time they brought it out it was ice cold... but they fixed it and it was decent the garlic butter that comes with the shrimp is amazing! Lastly got the hurricane margarita and it was so good I could have had 3 more!

Smokee Mo's BBQ - Don't Judge the Parking Lot…read more Hungry and tired after a long stretch from Chicago, a stop at Gateway Arch, and still miles to go toward Arkansas, we landed in Arnold just needing food and a place to land. From the parking lot... I'll be honest, we had doubts. The kind where you look at each other and silently ask, "Are we sure?" But we walked in anyway, and that's where the story turns. Inside, Smokee Mo's is all easygoing, country charm. Welcoming, unpretentious, and full of that "you're gonna be just fine here" energy. The service was friendly right away, no fuss, just good people doing their thing. Then the food showed up, and any hesitation disappeared fast. We shared pulled pork and brisket, with sides of broccoli casserole, beans, and potato salad, plus cheesy garlic bread because... obviously. Everything was flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what you want when you've been on the road too long. No frills, just solid, comforting BBQ that hits the spot. Lesson learned (again): don't judge a place by its parking lot. Sometimes the best meals are hiding behind the most unassuming doors. If you're passing through and running on empty, this is the kind of stop that resets your mood and fills you up in all the right ways.

What really stood out to me was the service we received! I really appreciated not being rushed through our meal. The fact that they actually let you order your courses separately so they're not coming out on top of each other was refreshing. And even though it was a Friday night and there were others waiting to get in we weren't rushed to pay our bill but instead invited to take our time. We hadn't seen or heard much about their pizzas, but we were in the mood for one and decided to order the meat pizza. It was made in a brick oven and it was really tasty. Honestly there were so many toppings that we ended up asking for an extra cup of the marinara sauce to dip it in. The sauce is made in house, it was delicious and the waitress said it's the same one that's used with the spaghetti and meatballs. In regard to the pizza size even though they're considered personal pizzas it was definitely bigger than we were anticipating. I would say they're close to 11 to 12 inches in diameter. My husband and I each enjoyed two pieces with our salad and took the other half home with us. They are definitely big enough to share, especially if you're ordering an appetizer or a salad to go with it. Our group very much enjoyed the artichoke spinach dip. It came with bread that had been cooked in their brick oven and I love that the spinach was in bigger pieces. My husband, and I also shared the harvest salad which had butternut squash on it, candied pecans & goat cheese. It was really yummy. Others in our group enjoyed the salmon and the crispy chicken sandwich. I had recently seen on a local Jefferson County page that many people consider Twisted Tavern the best place for a good piece of cake specifically, their wedding cake . Truth is that was the primary reason why I suggested this restaurant to meet our friends at but sadly by the time we finished our meal and were ready to order dessert they had already sold out. We were told this does not usually happen. Overall, we found tasty fresh food made in house, great service and fair prices. I am already planning another visit to the Twisted Tavern (so I can try their wedding cake! ).

The Good: The Brisket burnt ends were very good with good flavor. The service was very good and the food was delivered very quickly. But that's the extent of the good.... The Bad: The "Pork Steak Burger" was a major disappointment. It was served with nothing on the bun. No Onion...No Pickle...No lettuce...Nothing. Dry ground meat on a cheap hamburger bun. The burger did not have the flavor or moistness of a pork steak. It is pork run through a meat grinder with no seasoning added. VERY Bland...and at $7 was overpriced. I was amazed that there were NO Pork Steaks on the menu...! That is a fatal flaw that will prevent us from ever returning. The slaw was flavorless with too much vinegar and large chunks of cabbage that should have been ground or cut into smaller pieces. It was closer to a cabbage salad with vinegar dressing than traditional "slaw". My wife could not eat more than 1/4th of her serving due to the taste. The sides were substantially more expensive than the local BBQ competition. Standard sides like potato salad/beans/ slaw were all $3 for an average serving. Sides at competitive BBQ in the area are $1.89-$1.99 for better tasting food. A slab of ribs with (2) sides was $24. A slab with (3) sides at the competition is $2 cheaper. The only water they offer is bottled water for $1 a bottle. The BBQ sauce is served in bottles that have no labels. You have no idea what you are getting. They need to install a fly trap. We had pesky fly's competing with us for our meal throughout dinner. If you want excellent BBQ...Including Pork Steaks...Caledonia BBQ, Bailey Jo's in Ironton and Dexter BBQ are ALL better BBQ and more reasonably priced. When the new Sugar Fire BBQ opens in Farmington I will be surprised if Big Dick's in Farmington is still open a year from now.
