yes I went back the next weekend because I love steak....I had to take away one star only because the quality of my steak was not as high as before. This one was just a little less tender but still awesome as I ate the entire thing. I also thought my house salad was a little heavy on the egg---I noticed they do not but onion in the salad. Well got some gift cards to Texas Roadhouse for Christmas! First time we visited and gotta say highly disappointed!! Ordered drinks and food. I went all out and got the bone in ribeye that sounded excellent. Brought my salad and half way eating it noticed a nasty black hair. Told the waitress about it and said well the person making salad doesn't have black hair. My steak was alas on it's way and i told her i couldn't eat and was grossed out. So i sat there white my family ate and got the bill and see had the nerve to say well i didn't charge you for your meal!! WHAT!! THANKS FOR NOT CHARGING ME FOR A MEAL I NEVER GOT! This restaurant has fast-food steak house plans down pat. Anytime you drive passed a Texas Roadhouse the parking lot is jammed. There is always a line but never a long wait. The restaurant is just as crowded with staff as it is customers. There is a substantial discount menu for diners who choose dinner before 6 PM. The prices are extremely reasonable and everything can be augmented with a giant selection of ala carte items. Wife is a fan of the six ounce fillet. I am a typical pork chop dinner. Both are always cooked properly to order. Two sides come with each entree. I enjoy the sweet potato. During each dinner, a manager will check on the table and ask for suggestions. On our first visit, they even offered us a free dessert. My biggest problem is probably many peoples' favorite part of the experience. I hate the community peanuts and the acceptance of throwing the shells on the floor. Can't stand it. There is a large bar area. One of the paintings in the bar clearly shows Hall-of-fame Cardinals pitcher Bob Gibson wearing a cowboys hat and holding Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith at gunpoint. I went here with the family, we called ahead for a busy Saturday night and we got a table right away after we gave them our name, no waiting! Nice! I have always loved the food here. I decided to try something new tonight and I ordered the chicken fried chicken, with mashed potatoes and ceasar salad. My food was delicious. We did order an appetizer, the buffalo wings and they never did come to our table. We decided to tell them just skip it all together, and they took it off our bill. Very busy place! I've been here a few times and always had a great meal. Steaks are cooked to perfection. I llke medium and they have gotten it right every time. Today I had the 11" sirloin on special for Wednesdays and it was excellent. Seemed to be a garlic and onion seasoning and that's really good. I've also had the BBQ pork sandwich and loved it. I have always had a good experience here but my daughter took me here on my birthday Jan 21 2022 and it was pretty bad. The server was ok but the girl who brought out our blooming onion was super rude. Also a different girl who brought out our food was loud and very rude like she couldn't be bothered. Our actual server was ok you could tell she was tired and would have rather been anywhere else but there but she kept our drinks filled. My son ordered a chicken Cesar salad and had to send back twice the chicken was bloody and Sony so the 3rd one they sent out was so hard he could chew it. We gave up and didn't say anymore at that point and we had to send back the blooming onion because the onion wasn't cooked. I gotta say not sure what happened to you guys but it's sad. I placed a to go order with this Texas Roadhouse and was disappointed in pretty much every way. I was there at the correct time to pick up my order but proceeded to wait 18-20 minutes past that before I received the text that my food was ready. While its torrentially raining I approach the To-Go window and the girls inside are talking to each other, failing to see me getting drenched. Finally I started knocking loudly on the window only to get a disgruntled look from the girl who asked for the name. She grabbed my bag and basically forced it through the window. I said "is this everything?" To which she replied flatly "what do you think?" Now an automatic $5.00 tip for this worker was taken from my TO GO ORDER in which she only had to be rude and hand me my food, the food was packaged sideways and upside down, salads a mess, sauces everywhere and the steak was nothing but fat and gristle. My wife and I eat here every weekend. Best value best quality most times. On Saturday we had a poor experience though. Both steaks were burnt to the place we could not hardly eat them and my side was burnt as well. We will try it again next week but I will up my review if it is better. Never had a problem coming here. Wait times are long on the weekends, but I don't have a problem with that because the service and food are always great. Bread is one of the best rolls around and I love the cinnamon butter. I usually get a margarita and it is always good which is hard to come by for a chain restaurant. I either get the sirloin or the bacon burger. Sirlion is always cooked to perfection and the sides are good. Burger isnt the best around but has good flavor. All in all, have never had bad service. Generally; when we come here the food is exceptional, but this time around the steaks were just off. Mine was underdone which I don't mind Med. Rare, but when I order medium it should be that way. My wife's was over done, she ordered med well and it was jerky. The manger took it off and our bill which we appreciate. The cooks needs to slow down and take time. Service makes this place stand out. I highly recommend Brian as a waiter. He was friendly, efficient, interacted with our table and stayed on top of drinks and clearing out plates/etc. when we were finished. Ordered the sirloin (medium rare) and it was cooked to perfection. I rarely get an actual medium rare steak when I order it at other places but the last three times I've dined here the food has been spot on. It is nice knowing you will get what you order. If you never been to a Texas Roadhouse restaurant before, the menus are kept on the far end of the table near the ketchup, salt & pepper. Everyone's steak including mine were kind of salty. My parents & my brother complained about the saltiness of the steaks. I ordered mine with onions & mushrooms. Even the mushrooms were a bit salty! My steak looked like it had a huge mountain of onions & mushrooms. The baked potato looked like it had salt crystals on the skin. Thankfully, there was none inside. The service was fast. The waitress was really nice & kept refilling our drinks. The great thing about this place is that you can call ahead & get in line even before you actually get to the restaurant. I have mixed feelings on my experience at Texas Roadhouse in Arnold. I'm specific about the location for a reason and I'll say why in a moment. The positive about the place was that the food was good and you get a lot of it. That's where the good things end. It was very busy, even for a Saturday night, it was very hard to get seated. Our waiter was rude and had a fake Texas accent (when we ordered he had it, by the end he gave up on it. It was annoying). They brought our sides before the appetizer. The worst part about TR is the distracting line dancing the servers do to loud music while you're trying to eat. I was embarrassed for them. And the fact it was in Arnold...well, there were a ton of hillbillies in TR, so if you can tolerate them then I guess you can tolerate Arnold. That was the worst part. read more

The problem last night --- my daughter was eating a salad and a huge dead moth was wrapped into the lettuce. She was disgusted of course. The manager assured us they are professional and clean and that moth must have flown in from outside while a door was open. He would give her the meal free. I have paid over $100 a plate too many times for a good steak. I love this place because you get just as good or better steaks for about a quarter of the price. Now it isn't a romantic date night place so if you want that buck up and impressed your lady friend. You will be stepping on peanut shells as well so if you are allergic stay away. For the rest of us go there now. I always get the biggest cut of Ribeye and add a Rib Kicker. Then I get the baked potato and house salad with it. They also come with these honey rolls and cinnamon butter. People say to die for. I am not going to die for a roll but I might let you punch me for one. If you are easily embarrassed don't go on your birthday because they do a silly song type thing. But if you are a good sport you get a free appetizer with it. Our favorite steakhouse! The food is always amazing. I love their rolls way too much! The steaks will blow you away. But expect to pay for a great steak its not cheap. My only complaints are those nasty peanut shells everywhere, don't you own a broom? It makes me sick thinking people spit all over those.. - Shiver-You'd think the health department would care. I do. And the noise. The waitresses are supposed to sing along to certain songs that come on and then there will be no conversation at your fable because its deafening. We're from out of state with family friends. I'm a server and have been in restaurant business for 10 years plus a bit of a foodie . Cindy was our server and she was a super star. Texas Roadhouse is a good steak for the money. I've been to better but the price gap usually isn't worth it. Texas Roadhouses are louder type restaurant and they got this odd thing with peanuts. They just leave the shells all over the floor, but I guess thats their thing after all they are supposed to be a "Roadhouse" Where there food falls short for me is occasionally I'l get a steak with a bit too much grizzle. The other thin g is I always get a potato with my steak no matter where I'm at. Texas Roadhouse rubs down the outside of their potatoes with what looks like road salt. The servers are forced to do dances from time to time so you might have to wait on a refill so your poor waiter/waitress can do the boot-scoot boogie but usually service is conistently friendly and great.
