20 oz bone in sirloin steak medium well with loaded baked potato

Went for Father's Day of course there was a wait list to be seated, but that was expected for Father's Day. The service was good even though the place was absolutely packed. The only negative was the little digital games device at the table which we were billed for using. So if you have kids put it away if you don't want to be charged $2 for playing with it.

I have to admit, I was a bit critical of how good a chain steakhouse could be and I was glad to be surprised by how good the meal was. For appetizers, we got the rattlesnake bites - delicious fried balls of spicy cheese. I will definitely get those again. We ordered steaks and chicken tenders for our mains. I love that they come with generous two sides. Even the salads were a hearty serving and the veggies tasted really fresh. The steaks were seasoned very well and cooked perfectly (for the most part). One of our steaks wasn't quite cooked to the temp they asked for, but it was fine. Our server was great. Very friendly and attentive. We had two birthdays at our table and they really brought the energy to celebrate (and embarrass them a little). What doesn't make this a perfect 5-star is how the servers rush you a little in the beginning. They even talk fast. If you're a regular, I'm guessing it's easy to make a decision in a few minutes, but I felt rushed.

$33 piece of meat aka prime rib

Ordered 14 oz prime rib and the first one was half fat. Sent it back and they sent another out, still half fat. Manager said some people like the fat. That's why they order prime rib. Totally unacceptable for 33 dollar piece of meat. Should've sent it back again and ordered something else. They took 3 dollars off and carried the fat back to the kitchen to show the chef. I'll never order prime rib at Texas Road House again. And this was my Mother's Day celebration dinner from my daughter since she works Mother's Day. Truly odd because I've never been disappointed there before.

We went to Texas roadhouse for something different..... and close to home. . We managed to get seated right away, which was amazing. They a bag of peanuts in a bucket on the table so that you could enjoy while you were waiting for your food. It's always a good time people laughing people, talking TVs on. Whether you go there with a couple or just friends and family or a group of people I don't think you'll be disappointed. We have a good time when we're there. Food is always on point bathrooms are clean. Great time. Thanks For The Read Until Next Time.....

The food is always good, and so is the service. A night at Texas Roadhouse is always a good one. The steaks are always cooked right, and the sides are awesome. Their house side salad is one of my favorites on the menu right next to the prime rib. The rolls with cinnamon butter are a classic!

Alright, I had the best time at Texas Roadhouse! There's something about the ambience that brings me right back to childhood and that feeling of being so giddy about eating out or having a night out on the town! :) Anywho, the service for lunch was excellent. Our server made sure we were always fully stocked with our beverages and complimentary rolls with cinnamon honey butter. If nothing else, come out and try the rolls! They're addictive and I loved every bite! The cactus blossom was crispy and not overly seasoned or greasy! Perhaps the best "blooming onion" out there! Okay, so my baked potato was realllyyyy salted! See the picture. Somehow, I was all about this hahaha! But, it was perhaps too much salt and not for the faint of heart. But, the potato was baked to perfection and I loved that the bacon bits added a nice smoky bite! Overall, I would order everything that I ordered all over again. No complaints, all good things when you come to spend some time at Texas Roadhouse! I am already counting down to coming back and basking in the ambience once again!

How can you go wrong when you can get a well priced cut of steak and free peanuts to eat while you wait in the longish lines.

It was SO loud I had to wear noise-canceling headphones. The food wasn't too bad but the ribs tasted bleh.

Posted to Google already deserves to be shared here as well since I'm at it today…read more.. Smokin Dave's absolutely delivered last weekend. We ordered the Not So Teeny Wahine platter to share and added an okra appetizer, and everything that hit the table was legit. The meats were exactly what you want from a good barbecue joint: smoky, tender, and packed with flavor without drowning in sauce. You could tell the pit did the talking. The okra was a great starter too, crispy without being greasy and a perfect way to kick things off. Sides can make or break a BBQ place and Smokin Dave's nailed them. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the mashed potatoes were comforting and buttery, the collard greens had that slow-cooked depth you hope for, and the red beans and rice brought a little Southern soul to the table. Overall, just a really solid barbecue experience. Great flavors, generous portions, and the kind of meal that makes you want to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Love the welcoming, casual, and authentic BBQ atmosphere along with everything else this place offers! I don't know if you can go wrong with how you order but my favorite is to get Dave's Smokin Platter which can come with one meat ($18), two meats ($22), or three meats ($26)! Any of these come with choice of two sides and cornbread. My go-to's are the brisket and pulled pork for the meats and fried okra, red beans and rice, or baked beans for the sides! If you are a first timer and want to try several meats- the Pitmaster sandwich ($16.25) is a great option as it comes with brisket, pulled pork, and jalapeño cheddar sausage!

Close to Lookout Mountain, this is a great stop! Five stars across the board!…read more Food: was fantastic - between the 4 of us, we tried the brisket sandwich (tender and delicious with the pickles and picked red onions), pork ribs (meaty, flavorful and tender, my son's favorite), pulled pork on nachos (tasty and fresh). Had to have a Coors Light while in Golden, CO! Sides of Mac and cheese, baked beans, vinegar Cole slaw and potato salad were all freshly made, clean tasting, and added quality to each meal! Service: attentive and hospitable. You order at the counter and they bring out the trays from the kitchen. Every member was knowledgeable in explaining the multiple sauces and went out of the way to attend to every question or request. Love the casual vibes, from picking up your own utensils to cleaning up your own trays. Excellent service. And they were appreciative of our patronage. Ambiance: clean restaurant all around, cool casual vibes with a great outdoor patio side facing the sun and mountains. Well worth the stop, best bbq in Golden CO, indeed! 5

Stairmaster to Heaven (The BBQ Kind) They say distance makes…read morethe heart grow fonder, but in this case, a 30-minute drive and a second-story climb mostly just made us hungry. We were strongly motivated by a lunch date with our daughter and her husband, and apparently, the 'Seasoned Swine' experience starts with a mandatory pre-meal cardio session. If you aren't ready to hit the stairs, you aren't ready for the Swine. The Atmosphere (2 Stars): It's a bit like a sports bar that forgot to buy the TVs. Plenty of high-top tables to perched upon, and a bathroom door that refuses to close--perfect for those who enjoy a 'communal' dining experience in every sense of the word. The Service (3 Stars): Standard 'pay-to-play' setup. You order at the register, pay upfront, and hope for the best. Functional, but don't expect a candlelit serenade. The Food (5 Stars): This is where the magic happens. Three of us tackled the 'Swinoceros' plate--a meat-sweat-inducing mountain of the menu's highlights--while our fourth went for the pulled pork 'sammie.' The Candied Ribs: Out of this world. I'm pretty sure these are illegal in several states. Absolute perfection. The Burnt Ends: Moist, flavorful, and worth the drive alone. The Supporting Cast: The pulled pork, sliced turkey, brisket, and jalapeño cheddar sausage were all good. Even the sides--the OC Mac and Cheese and baked beans--were terrific. The Rolls: The three sweet rolls were... well, they were rolls. They were there. The Verdict: If you can survive the stairs, the awkward bathroom situation, and the DIY service, the food is a total knockout. I came for the family, but I'd stay for those candied ribs.
