We are fairly regular customers at this location because the food and prices are good. A few things we have noticed lately. The servers always say while waiting for your drinks the bartenders are backed up. This has been going on for years. If you order another drink when your meal is served it probably will not make it to your table for 10-15 minutes, when you are done or almost done with your meal. Why if the bartenders are so busy don't you put on an extra bartender to help with dining tickets. Last night we were told by our server to pay our bill on the self service terminal system on the table. We are a little older and would rather get a printed bill and pay the server. In that way we could see our bill and hand her not only the money but also her tip. When we asked her if we could do that she said we could but she is busy with other things and it would take a lot longer!!! Service was good up until that answer!!! read more

I went to this restaurant last month for my sister's birthday.there were 9 of us. They set us at 2 different tables which they did the best they could do. 2 different servers but yet wanted to charge us the tip for large party. The steak was very thin so it cooked to fast and was not medium the way I ordered. The other half of us were served their salads and ours came about 25 min later. The only child in our group who order the kids chicken I believe it was was not served his food until we were all done eating our full meals and it was even after that. My sons Hamburger who is very picky and likes his hamburger well done.. no pink at all. His was about medium rare to medium. So he did not tough it but doesn't like to complain and my sister had already done enough. Our waitress at the end was kinda rude and would not even come to our table anymore. Oh and my steak and my nieces steak were all not even seasoned. I don't write negative reviews to often but this was just one thing after another. Oh we did not send our steaks back either but my sister did complain about them. They were very busy. Extremely busy but this all was to much. Will not eat at that one again. Thought I would update my review if this establishment since it's been a few years. Let me start off by saying that I love having the option of getting on the waitlist via the app. It is so convenient and easy to use. I'd much rather wait in my car than in a crowded area by the doors. We have always been seated within 20 min of putting our name on the waitlist. This last time, our waitress was cheerful and prompt. Our order was com correct and complete. I got the 6 oz sirloin with ribs. My sides were a side salad and a cup of chili. They have the best salads! They are always fresh and I love how they have eggs and croutons on them. The ribs are so incredibly tender and delicious. That's saying a lot considering I work in a BBQ restaurant where we specialize in ribs. My steak was cooked perfectly as well. The portions were big so we of course had leftovers. The chili is usually really good, but tonight it was just ok. I like how it comes with crackers, cheese, and onions. I ordered roasted jalapeños on the side to go with my steak. It only came with 1 this time and it was an additional $2.29. I'm not sure I'd spare the expense on that next time. We also ordered the Buffalo chicken tender appetizer with blue cheese and that was amazing. It was a good way to start our dinner. I could have that as a meal. My and my wife were accompanied by two friends to this Texas Roadhouse. Per usual, we had an amazing experience! But as usual we must first get the bad out of the way! I only have two issues whenever I come to Texas Roadhouse. The pace of service and quality of food(this one happens rarely). When we went this time, the service was somewhat slow due to it being an extremely busy night. Our server was kind and apologetic so I really cannot blame her. When it comes to the comment of the quality of food, I have had experiences where my salmon was overcooked and or the steak was undercooked. Like I said, this does happen rarely but it has happened enough where it warrants notice. Don't let this take away from this review though! Onto the food! My wife ordered the 10oz ribeye steak and I ordered the 8oz grilled salmon. Our friends had both ordered the 10oz ribeye as well. I must say my grilled salmon was grilled to perfection. It melted to the touch and the wild rice simply hit different this time around. It was a very good different, I love it. The buttered corn was sweet and juicy which gave the salmon an amazing taste when paired. My wife's ribeye, with the piece I stole, was absolutely amazing. Juicy, tender and simply delicious. The apple sauce was also amazing! This also can't be a Texas Roadhouse review without reviewing the bread! Soft and buttery, with a hint of salt. You can never go wrong with this bread, and it's all you can eat, they just keep them coming! Overall I recommend Texas Roadhouse if you want some amazing food! Let's start with the service. My family and I came on a Friday night right at dinner time and they were slammed. Our server was Shannon and she was exceptional. She was kind and smiling and running to keep up with the crowd. If you get the chance see if you can sit in her section. She made the experience better with her good service. Second, the food. It's a chain steakhouse. So you get what you would expect. The steak was okay. Cooked properly but the Ribeye was pretty tough but had good flavor. The green beans are honestly not good. Way to much onion. They taste more like onion with green bean to flavor. Not a fan. The ribs are tasty. I mean not championship bbq but they tasted good and were tender. The star of the meal here is the cinnamon butter. That stuff could make a flip flop taste good, but they serve fresh hot rolls which is even better! Seriously ask for extra butter, you'll want it. The drinks. Again what you would expect from a chain steak house. They were good but the pours tasted pretty light. My tip, go for the extra booze kicker they offer with a lot of the drinks. Now the atmosphere. This is where they really lack. It's way to loud, the tables are to crowded together and to top it all off people yelling every time there's a birthday. Don't bother coming here if you want to have a conversation with your friends or family. You'll be horse by the end of the meal from having to yell across the table. Overall. Coming here on a busy holiday weekend did not deter us from getting prompt service, we were sat immediately and the server quickly followed. While being seated, the host brings along a fresh basket of soft rolls and butter. I eagerly enjoyed this while looking at the menu. I decided on the Prime Rib and my dinning guest ordered the 10oz Ribeye. we both specified medium cook on our orders and mine turned out just right but my companions was well over cooked. After flagging down the waitress and bringing it to her attention a replacement steak shortly followed which was personally delivered by the manager. Wow, I am incredibly disappointed in this establishment. This is not my first visit to a Texas Roadhouse, and it likely won't be be my last. It will, however, be the last visit to this particular establishment. I visited for lunch today, and I ordered a Fort Worth Ribeye, 10oz, medium rare, like I have many times before. I received it and it was way too salty, so sent it back. I received another, delivered by the manager, and was asked to bite into it at that exact moment. Always so awkward, but I get it's their procedure. So I bit into a side piece, and it was not overly seasoned. When he walked away, I bit into it and saw it was medium well, nearly well. So, I was disappointed, again. When I told my server, she got the manager and he came back to the table. He asks "would you like us to make you another?" Like yeah, but I get the message, so decided to not try again. They took the entree off our total, and I left wholly disappointed and dissatisfied. So here were the items we ordered that evening. * Rattlesnake Bites Appetizer * Big Hoss Bone-In Ribeye with Mashed Potatoes ($20.99) + ($0.99) and Buttered Corn (Hubs Order) * Texas T- Bone 18oz ($19.99) with Seasoned Rice and Sauteed Mushrooms. * Strawberry Cowboy Cooler (My beverage) ($2.99) * Coke (Hubs beverage) ($2.49) We request both of our main entrees aka the MEATS to be cooked WELL DONE. While waiting for our main entree to arrive, Johnnie, gave us the "sweet rolls" to our table. I like the "sweet rolls" but does not fancy the whipped butter that comes with it. I like the Rattlesnake Bites Appetizer ($4.99). Those appetizers, are made of rounds of diced jalapeños and jack cheese, hand-battered and lightly fried. It was served with Cajun Horseradish sauce for dipping. It came our piping hot, juicy and my oh my, I am still craving for those tiny morsels. Perhaps I should "dig" thru the internet world on how to make those Rattlesnake Bite Appetizer. Then comes our Main entrees with some sampler of somekind... with Beans, Corn, Mashed Potato with Gravy, and somekind of Pulled Meat. Hubs opt for Mashed Potatoes and Buttered Corns while I opt for Sauteed Mushrooms and Seasoned Rice for my main entree. All in all, we like our order that evening. I came here with a friend about a month ago and have brought many dates here a while back in the past. The last visit will have me coming back more often. Everyone at the entrance was so nice and just happy. They have a guy in a wheel chair, very disabled bring you to your table. It was very heart warming to see this restaurant support him. That is awesome guys, keep him employed! The waitress was very quick on her feet and got our first beers out asap. We both got salads and burgers. The food is phenomenal. Right after the food arrived a dude in a green shirt stopped by to check on refills, condiments, and anything that might be missing and let us know we could flag him down for anything and our server. Came here last Friday night with a few buddies. The place was a mad house but what can you say - who doesn't want to go to TR after a long week. The service was great from our waitress - she was very attentive and pleasant throughout our visit. The food was top notch - we started with a blooming onion for the boys (top notch) and then the steaks... the steaks were perfectly cooked and great flavor. I love Texas Roadhouse. So we brought my son in for his 4th birthday. That being said this was the worst experience I have had at a Texas Roadhouse. They have Kraft Macaroni specifically listed on the kids menu which all locations serve except for this one. The substitute was inedible. My wife and me both got steaks and hers was dry and flavorless despite ordering it medium. We both ordered mashed potatoes which were a single clump with gravy that was not warm. I had to remind them more than once that it was my sons bday and finally 2 people came to say yee-haw not even sing happy birthday. I am beyond disappointed as I worked at this location many years ago and never would have let someone deal with low quality deplorable food. We decided to come in for dinner tonight. Yesterday, I got a coupon in my email for a free kid's meal for my son's birthday, which is in a week. At first, our server asked me to log into the app. I was having issues getting into my account, so I asked for the manager to come over to take off the kids meal. She comes over and tells me that my 12 year old has to sign up for their mailing list and we wouldn't get the coupon until tomorrow. I already have an account with my kids' birthdays listed, which is how I got the email, yesterday. I think it's ridiculous that they require my almost 12 year old to sign up for his own Texas Roadhouse profile and to get marketing emails just so he can get his birthday meal coupon honored. Let me preface by saying I was a vegetarian for years at one point in my life. I have only eaten at a handful of fine dining steakhouses... and I understand this isn't one of them. It's pretty great nonetheless. You could dress normally. You're going to pay a quarter of what you would for date night AND have your kids in tow. No I didn't need a replacement meal, I was fine. 2 minutes later the manager drops a Riblitt basket in front of me with still frozen FFs. Excellent service all around, the food came out well cooked and quickly. Despite the minor complication we had with our meal, the manager George was so kind and willing to help us immediately. Getting to-go from Texas Roadhouse is a terrible move. This is the second time in a row they have left out the bread after stating there is bread included. I've attached a picture of the embarrassing, half full salad I received. The steak was also way overdone, but at least our dogs enjoyed it. Janelle the manager wants to stand by the order and blame customers for not thoroughly examining their orders for pick up, because we clearly get paid to make sure everything is right. She also offered us a dozen rolls on our next visit, which are free to begin with and which visit may never occur. She's great at customer service and is obviously not fit to serve, let alone manage. This place is a stain on an otherwise great franchise. I've never had such poor experiences and poor customer service at any other location. My roommate interrupted her and said "Are you talking about covid?" She responded with "yes!" He responded back "And you're not wearing a mask!" Here's my dilemma, the staff never even offered to sanitize the area after a non-masker had touched their credit card machines and pens. The staff never offered a sanitized pen or to wipe down the machine or area knowing that someone that is potentially contagious just came through. I did call the manager and spoke to Alex and she said she would make sure it's sanitized but this shouldn't have been escalated this far. There is a serious lack/disconnect on training! This is the very reason we are not able to eat indoors. I will be reporting this to the health department! Just had a horrible dining experience at the Arvada location. We used to love eating here, but the service and quality of the food this time was so bad we have vowed to NEVER go back after eating there frequently for 15 years! We don't know what happened, but we cannot expect a quality meal there ever again. It was really disgusting and over cooked. We left feeling ill. Too bad because it was high on our list for a dinner out but looks like it has gone the way as many restaurants in Arvada this year. Turned into nasty garbage!
