My wife and I ordered online Saturday night. She ordered the grilled shrimp, I ordered the bone-in ribeye. App said order would be ready by 6:15. I got there at 6:10 just in case. I got the notification by text that my food was ready at 6:18 which I though was pretty good considering the staff shortages everywhere. While I waited, I watched two vehicles pull into the same curbside spot and get their food and leave after I arrived. Still no food. The girl finally brought it out at 6:43. Bottom of the bag was lukewarm. Made the 5 minute drive home. Shrimp was tepid and steak had internal temp of 115. I ordered medium so should have still been around 140 degrees. Salads were fine and larger than you get in the restaurant. We received no rolls even through it was stated on the receipt in two places. I'm not a big complainer but for $50 I expect my food to be reasonably warm when I get it. Part of the steak was perfect, part was rare but that happens on 20 oz steaks. Due to the cooling, it was tougher than a sirloin. Again, I get shortages. This was not that. They texted food was ready at 6:18 but couldn't get it out to me (prepaid tip- lucky them) in less than 25 minutes. I should have called- could have walked in and got it myself. Maybe it is just the management at this place. The last time we ate inside, our corner booth was as clean as the restroom in a 7-11. Gotta do better. I'll stick with Colton's. read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat!! Can't get no better then the Texas Roadhouse! Great food awesome service and the potato skins loaded are the bomb!!! I usually eat at the roadhouse at least 4 times a month!!! So yea I love it!!! read more

My husband and I are frequent flyers to the Benton location of TX RH. We are usually very pleased. However 2/2/2023 Thursday night was terrible. I switch between ordering the 12 oz strip and the prime rib. I chose to go with the prime rib medium rare. We waited over and hour for our food. Server pretty much disappeared and all glasses went dry. When the PR came to the table it was well done. I don't think I have ever sent anything back here before. Asked for a manager. She proceeded to bring me another that was grey and dry. I was honestly offended and she didn't wait around to ask if it was okay just dumped and ran. I ate about 5 bites and realized it was leftovers from the ice storm that hadn't sold. You could taste the refrigerator smells in it. Complained to the server and asked for it to be removed from the check and they gave us a $9 discount on a $100+ meal. So disappointed in the kitchen and manager. I will be back but they better improve or I will be going higher then the manager. #DoBetter!! read more

Perhaps the food is ok! IDK because I never got inside. I call to see if they had Prime Rib as I had a taste for it. I drive out of my way just to go to Texas Road House as a party of 1. Party of one should not be hrs to seat. I parked and walked up to the station outside. I told the little man that I was of 1. He asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. I said no and that I prefer a table. So I went on the wait list about 22 min and then I went to ask as about 12 to 15 groups went in and got seated. I asked when is my turn. About that time I got the message on phone that I was ready to seat. So they say I'm next yet still 3 more couples were sat. They take me inside only to sit me at the bar. I said I did not want to sit at the bar. And they at this point tell me that they are sitting party of ones only at the bar so groups can take the tables. I said never mind I'm leaving. Little man says ok sorry. So as I drive to another steakhouse "Colton's" I call and ask for the manager and tell my store. She did not seem to care, she semi apologized and said the little man at the podium should have told me up front before I wasted 30 min. Did not offer anything. I said well I'm now at Colton's to eat and in a smart ass tone she said "oh well enjoy that" I will not be going back. Texas Road House you are not the only place in town". Thank God! read more

The food and service here has always been excellent HOWEVER, this one time I take issue with the bartender. While waiting for our table at the bar we ordered a gin martini, no olives or vermouth, ice cold. She brought the martini less than half full and warm. My husband told her "martinis are typically shaken in ice to chill it". She said "we only do that if there is vermouth in it, does that makes sense?" That only makes sense if you consider she was too stingy to give us our money's worth and too lazy to chill the booze for the customer. We really aren't finicky or demanding but a martini is known to be 100% alcohol and ice cold. That's why people drink them. Sheesh ... I guess she's never seen a James Bond movie. read more

My husband and I used to frequent this place for date night and the stakes were always flavorful and well-prepared. During the covid scare, we ordered curbside and I tipped the young lady $5. She added an additional 0 tipping herself $50. We called the manager who admitted to knowing and doing nothing! Instead of reversing/correcting the amount they waited on me to call. I called corporate who said they would credit my account but I have still not seen my $50. Their steaks were also not the quality we remembered. Did the call ahead and it claimed 50-60 mins. We arrived 45 mins later. The hostess said she would round it up to 30 mins. I said how you figure she just looked very confused. Then I said take me off the list. She ask me why and I told her I didn't want to wait. She said well I told you 30 mins. I said again it's been almost 50 mins. Again she just gave me a blank stare. Visited (or tried to visit) the TR in Benton, AR on Sunday night. We were celebrating with the family after our granddaughter's (age 6) church Christmas musical. I used the call ahead seating app on the website. When we arrived I let the hostess know we were there. She said she would text us as soon as the table was available. After waiting a coupe of minutes, the hostess yelled across the foyer that we had to go wait outside. She said we were impeding the flow of traffic for her staff working the take-out area. (We were not!). I told her we could not wait outside since it was 39 degrees (and dropping) and we had young children and a 68 year old woman with health issues in our party. She would have none of it and insisted, quite loudly, that we go outside. She said there were overhead heaters that we could wait under. Rather than cause a scene, we went outside. The heaters were totally inadequate and our entire party was shivering in the cold in minutes. Other than the obvious lack of care for waiting customers, the level of rudeness by the hostess staff here was off the scale. I have been treated with greater respect in "dives" in third-world countries. Unless you enjoy being abused and paying for it, avoid this establishment. If this is how the hostess treats you, I can't imagine what the wait staff and cooks are like?! read more

last time i went to trh, y'all slipped me a little extra protein. i didn't enjoy my steak, it was undercooked and i asked for well done. the waitress was nice about it and cooked me another steak, but it also had an extra piece of protein. the only good things they serve here are their fried pickles and their rolls, even though they smell like actual poop. read more

Hands down the best restaurant experience I have ever had I am traveling by myself from far east Tennessee to Dallas and I got hungry so stopped for something to eat. Was not disappointed . As soon as I walked in there were employees holding the door open and I'm pretty sure every single one greeted me as I made my way to the bar. Chris was bartending and made sure to ask me my name and was so inviting and so helpful. I kind of said under my breath I was looking for a dark beer and he heard me and proceeded to suggest a local beer he already at this point knew I was from out of town so it was a nice suggestion I ordered the 6 ounce Dallas steak (can you tell I was homesick?) Medium rare. . Another kind server brought it to me and offered me steak sauce and I said yes just in case but did not end up needing it. Steak was delicious food was phenomenal and service was excellent . Manager Cheri (I think that's how you spell it, blonde friendly one) introduced herself told me if I need anything to let her know & asked how Chris was doing (which he was great). During my meal I couldn't help but notice a lot of servers clapping in the background almost line dancing I don't know what it was but it looks like they were having a good time and enjoyed working there. Anyways I just started managing a restaurant in Dallas and this will be exactly what I strive to make a customer experience feel like. Thank you guys for a great experience! read more

I had to go lunch today. Normally food is pretty good, but today it wasn't very good...... there was a rotten tomato in my salad. it had black spots which should have been cut out. I asked for extra ranch didn't get it, guess they figure I wouldn't. I got steak tips and mashed potatoes. The onions were all stuck together almost like they are cut when making the onion appetizer. There was such little gravy I couldn't tell there was really any. I know this wasn't because they were slammed..... there was nobody there. Bailey was extremely rude! Worst manager ever! Came up to my table with a major attitude problem. The server already spoke with her about my party being unhappy about being next to a loud and obnoxious 20top... She pretty much told us there was nothing she could do and that they were just having fun. She didn't attempt to make the experience better for us but instead got an attitude. There salads are so fresh ( tell them you want them before you get your steak or this is not guaranteed because the kitchen can get behind ) The rib-eyes are amazing. Oh, and the rolls are mouth watering and buttery. Now, the wait can be up to two hours on a Friday or Saturday night. Just be prepared to take your buzzer and look around at the stores nearby. We went last Saturday around 1:00ish and the place was really busy! Walked in to super friendly hostess and was seated immediately with warm dinner rolls in hand...that were very scrumptious! I just left this place and wanted to share my experience. Let me start by saying I usually go to Bowman location but thought we would give the new location a try . The GPS said it was only 1 more mile. We called 1 hour ahead and was promptly seated when arrived . Hostess was very nice and out waitress who had only been there two weeks was excellent. Everything was going fine I thought , it even seemed a little quieter. Everyone's food was good except my steak didn't look like it was prepared properly. I flagged down our waitress and nicely asked her does this steak look medium? Her eyes wide open said no! That's well done , I'm so sorry , I'll get it taken care of right away. I told her no need to apologize, you are doing a great job, it's the kitchen that messed it up , they probably got it mixed up with another order. Well everyone is enjoying there meal and I'm waiting and waiting on my steak. Somewhere in the middle of the wait our waitress came by and Observed I still didn't have my steak. She went right back to check and promptly came back to report they told her it was about ready. I'm still waiting and everyone in my group was finish before the steak arrived. Finally a man came Identifying himself as the manager and the name on his shirt said Fisher. He brought my steak and said sorry for the trouble , try this. I began to cut into the steak while he came up with a story that kitchen staff was new and he was having a big turnover of cooks. BTW, The slice of steak I showed him was dry and well done again . To that he said try that spot that is a little thicker so I so I did. That brown slice with just the hit that it may be ever so slightly pink in the middle seemed to satisfy him . I let him know I wasn't pleased ,that the steak was not right , it took so long to get out here I didn't get to eat with my family and that I expected him to comp my meal I didn't get to enjoy with my family. He said he will take care of it. I tried to eat my steak with everyone watching me trying to choke down this dry chewy steak. I finally had to just leave half of it! The manager didn't comp my meal!! He took $5 off and a free little sack of peanuts !!! WOW !!! I gave the waitress a 20 percent top for her excellent service and threw the bag of peanuts in the garbage! Poor management, Fisher needs to go back to training.! Right now I don't want to go back ! My fiancé thinks that maybe we should give them another chance.
