I tried Red Snapper tonight. I don't know what they season their food with, but it is EXCELLENT! My oysters were fried a little hard, but I was still able to enjoy them. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood!

In May, in the midst of COVID, we came here to get some take-out. It was good. Would like to return and try dining in to get it hot.

Pulling into the parking lot, we noticed that the parking lot had at least eight cars, leading us to believe that this restaurant was popular with the locals. Upon walking in, we were quickly seated by a host and shortly greeted by our server, Tylia, who promptly took our order and was just as prompt, if not quicker, with the delivery of our bags of shrimp boil! I ordered a custom bag of half a pound of shrimp with heads and sausage, which came with potatoes and a corn cob. My associates ordered the same, but with snow crab legs. It was all piping hot and delicious. I only left sausages in my bag, but only because couldn't eat any more! Tylia was very responsive to our needs, often checking in with us to ensure we were well taken care of. This also prompted us to order additional items, like bread sticks and a cheese cake! I took notice of the establishment, noting that it was clean and well lit. In the end, we left with warm hearts and extremely full bellies.

New Orleans Approved!…read more As New Orleanians and self-proclaimed foodies, my wife and I have pretty discerning palates when it comes to seafood. While visiting Little Rock, the technician who was doing my wife's pedicure recommended her brother's restaurant, The Oyster Bar. We already had reservations elsewhere, but after looking at The Oyster Bar's menu, we canceled our original plans--and we're glad we did. Food (10/10) Hush Puppies (10/10): Quite possibly the best hush puppies I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, with jalapeños that added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor. Crab Claws (10/10): Outstanding. They reminded me of a favorite dish from Copeland's back home in New Orleans--hot, buttery, flavorful and served in a generous portion. Seafood Combo (10/10): Fried Oysters (10/10): Perfectly fried with a crisp exterior and a creamy interior. Well seasoned and absolutely delicious. Cheese Grits (9/10): Rich, creamy and cheesy. We paired them with the shrimp scampi and essentially created our own version of shrimp and grits. Shrimp Scampi (8/10): The shrimp were plump, juicy and cooked well, though I would've enjoyed a bit more seasoning. Crab Cake (10/10): The standout of the meal. This crab cake was towering, packed with what seemed like 99% crab meat and full of flavor. The seafood combo is a great value. Chocolate Cheesecake (9/10): Smooth, creamy and chocolatey. Cheesecake isn't usually our first dessert choice, but we're chocolate lovers, and this one definitely delivered. Piña Colada Mocktail (9/10): Sweet, smooth, refreshing and loaded with pineapple flavor. Exactly what I look for in a tropical mocktail. Service (9/10) Our server, Tallon, was friendly, attentive and genuinely hospitable. She was efficient, checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. It's always refreshing to have a server who doesn't disappear after the food arrives. Ambiance (8/10) The atmosphere is casual, bright and airy with a comfortable noise level that makes conversation easy. If a couple from New Orleans--where great seafood is practically a birthright--can enthusiastically recommend The Oyster Bar, that's saying something. We'd happily return the next time we're in Little Rock.

The fried okra appeared to be whole baby okra. I have never had it prepared that way and found it to be very pleasing to the palate. The mustard greens were equally delicious. The service was slightly disappointing, which led to a four star rather than five star rating from me. The restroom is on one corner of the restaurant. Unfortunately, we were seated in the farthest corner from that restroom. It's a fairly large building with multiple rooms. Going forward, I will ask to be seated closer to the restroom. My mother has dementia and the distance to the restroom made things a little difficult for us. It might be also be difficult with small children.

I love Bonefish Grill and the food is excellent along with the wonderful service. This dining experience was no exception, because we were treated to a wonderful server, Faith, who was fantastic and amazing. She took very good care of our team and did not leave us waiting for anything. The ambiance is always on point at Bonefish Grill and very cozy and relaxing. I ordered the Mediterranean Atlantic salmon special with rice and Kung Pao Brussels sprouts for my vegetable. The Kung Pao Brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious and melted in my mouth. The Mediterranean Atlantic salmon was pure heaven and enjoyment, and loved every bite I took of the salmon. Someone ordered the bang pow shrimp as an appetizer to share with everyone. It was fantastic and tasted incredible! I have never had a bad meal at Bonefish Grill and this experience was no exception. Everything was wonderful and flawless with the meal and Faith was awesome as a server. I'm sure if I am back in Little Rock AR for business, we will back here for dinner. Bonefish Grill is an incredible restaurant and you can never go wrong with a meal here with family or friends. It is amazing!

Shrimp and scallop pasta was over powered with lemon juice and the cream sauce having little to no flavor to balance it out and coated with paprika that still couldn't be tasted over the straight up lemon sauce pasta. Truffle fries had an off colored dark sauce on top that didn't taste like anything but just drizzled over extremely over seasoned black fries that were very very salty. Tried to get ranch to drown out the saltiness because I was so hungry and couldn't bear more than a few bites of the pasta. Meanwhile you would think my husbands meal totaling almost $60 would be the star of the show and make up for the meal but his mahi mahi and shrimp was burnt to a crisp and under seasoned & he rated it a 2/10. His lobster was cooked decently but had no flavor to it and he tried to have a smile and enjoy his lunch to hide that he was so disappointed in how his meal turned out. You'd think for having entrees all over $25+ that you'd have a decently flavored, quality food for the price but we were definitely misled by the nice ambience and attractive menu. I will give a 10/10 on the service here. The staff were friendly, tried their best to give good recommendations and were attentive. This place would've been a 1 star in my opinion if the staff didn't completely save our lunch!

Funny, but right next door is a place that bills itself as great Cajun/Creole food, but the menu here easily showed itself as a great, if not better, option. So we wound up chatting with the friendly barkeep about the menu. He encouraged us to try the crab dip, and oh my, we are so glad he did! It is a very rich appetizer, but absolutely one of the best we've ever had. The shrimp and grits definitely lived up to its hype! I ordered the half order of shrimp and grits, the grits were perfectly made and also came with six of the most juiciest shrimps. The only thing that I would change about this dish is to either make it slightly cheaper, because it was pretty pricey for the small amount of food that you get, or there should be a little bit more grits. Other than that, the meal was great. The waitress that I had was very attentive and professional, she helped me with everything that I needed and was timely when it came to placing the order and serving food. The restaurant is in an easily located place with complimentary parking right across the street.

Well, I am happy to report that it IS true, that Petit & Keet is an outstanding restaurant. We made it in, in time for their terrific happy hour at the bar. Packed at 5:00 PM on a Tuesday (who woulda thunk that?) we were able to squeeze in and jump in on their goodies. The HH Menu was so appealing we would up just tasting several things; for starters, their signature frozen drink, the Peechy Keet, was absolutely phenomenal (it might also be because it was over 100 degrees outside). Not too sweet, nicely fruity and packing a punch. The Crudites was atypical with a larger assortment of veggies (including some tasty Sheshido peppers) and a really, unique and delish hummus. Next up; the Tuna Tostada. This could actually be my favorite item on the menu; sashimi grade tuna on a larger Tostada, perfectly marinated. Yummy. We topped things off with the Empanadas' that were also delectable; plenty of filling, not overly fried so as to be firm but chewable. I can't believe we wound up being stuffed, and sadly, it prevented us from diving into what looked like some wonderful entrees. Next time! A special note to the management; your bartender (sorry, her name escapes me, but she's in the pic with my wife and me) was as phenomenal as the food & drink (and the decor; sorry I hadn't mentioned that before, but it is a lovely space). She was everything (and more) for what someone behind the bar should be, an expert concotionist, professional, fun (and funny) and on top of everything at a packed bar/restaurant. Can you say "deserves a raise" with me? Also, loved the story of the place on the menu. It feels great to see a local place like Petit and Keet deliver top notch food, service and environment.
