We were surprisingly pleased with our lunch today -- the overall experience, the service, and the food plus the ridiculously low price made this a "yes, we will be back". We were going to the Boynton mall and needed someplace close to eat first. This came up in the app as a suggestion. They aren't open everyday for lunch, but we thought we would give it a try as they are open on Saturday's. We didn't wait for a table, but instead sat at the bar. We had great and friendly service from Erin (sp?). They had their "early dine" menu (as well as their full regular menu) available. Items on the special menu were only $9.99 until 3 pm -- and include two sides, as well. We both ordered their six-ounce sirloin steak. We both got their mashed potatoes and green beans as our sides. We'd ordered our steaks Pittsburgh blackened. Mine was a tad too bloody rare inside and they easily took it back to throw on the fire a tad more. Meanwhile I enjoyed their smoky green beans flavored with bacon, onions and garlic. So good. The mashed potatoes had personality, too, with a bit more black pepper in them than I usually use. I had opted for some brown gravy (on the side) and that tempered the pepper. When the manager brought my (now) perfectly cooked steak back to me, he even offered to get me some new "hot" sides. I declined, but wasn't that super service? The guy a few seats over from us at the bar was really enjoying his burger (and fries) -- also a good deal from the regular menu. But if you don't eat beef, there are a lot of chicken dishes, pork, salads, and even fish. When we are in the area, we certainly will be back. read more

I went to Texas road house with a friend on Friday. I have been here a handful if times. The first set of ribs were ice cold. The waitress took is back and brought me the same plate back but burnt. I got the manager and she put in a new order to go. I went to reheat them and they are so dry and I'm still not sure why you have to ask for more sauce. Highly recommend this location. We were seated promptly, the service was amazing (make sure you ask for server April, she was awesome!) Our food came out in a very reasonable time and was hot. The steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered them, medium rare. The atmosphere was excellent. It can get a little loud when they're busy, but that's expected at a restaurant like Texas Roadhouse, which is exactly why you go there other than for their delicious steaks and rolls. What a pleasant surprise. We haven't visited a Texas Roadhouse for years and was not impressed with the one up in PA. We moved here 2 years ago and thought we would try it . All I can say is we were unexpectedly thrilled. The Prime rib was prepared excellent, the bread was warm and fresh, the salads were fresh with very good quality dressing. Everything was great but the best was every server and host was friendly, polite and made you feel welcome. The best was our server Cassidy, this young woman was attentive, polite, happy and upbeat. Been coming to the Boynton beach Texas Roadhouse for about 2yrs now. The food is always a score with their early dine deals you can't beat it. No matter what my fiancé and I have tried it's always amazing. Coming here we have had a plethora of servers and they are all great and kind. I will say though after coming here tonight Kyle has blown me away. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and gave great feedback. It really showed that he enjoys working at Texas Roadhouse. They have added some new string lights to the beams and it looks amazing really adds to the overall look and feel of the restaurant and ambiance. The lights help to give a cozy feel. (Hope they keep them up all the time). Overall 1000000000/10 would always recommend and if you want to have a great server you will get one or ask for our fave Kyle! read more

We always look forward to and enjoy our 'to go' Texas Roadhouse dinners. I love the fact that they still have the Curbside delivery because it is so convenient. The food is always delicious and the fact that they let you choose your sides makes it very personal. The orders are always double checked and there has never been a misstep. The prices are very reasonable and we always get more than we can eat. Most of the time there is lunch for the next day too. I cannot extol this restaurant more because it is fantastic!!! read more

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good service with ample Free parking. They have good happy hour food specials, friends of ours told us they had a agood experience that's why we tried it. Every now and then good places may have an off night so we will probably give it another try in the future. Heard good things about the bread unfortunately they had someone new making it. If you know me, then you know, I personally am not a fan of chain restaurants but I was traveling with family and they love Texas Roadhouse. This is probably my 3rd time here, the other 2x was a while back but I have to sayyyyy, I was indeed please with the service, food and atmosphere. I love love me a steak! Like most foodies, I checked out their menu and decided to keep my meal under 1,500 calories. I was shocked to see majority of the menu items (the main course itself, aside from the bread and sides - like if you got a salad and baked potato) were a whopping 900 -2,000 cals if not more. I decided on the New York strip 8oz at 420, baked potato with tsp butter and sour cream 400, salad with 1/2 tbsp Italian 290 = 1,110 whooohoo! I was so good and skipped the addicting bread. We started out with drinks they were great!!! We ordered Classic Margaritas with an extra shot of patron. Top shelf liquor and tasted delicious. My husband ordered a Summer Ale beer and the first one was flat. The waitress immediately brought him a new one. The second one was better. We didn't eat any appetizers. Dinner came out pretty quickly. We ordered a full slab of ribs they were cooked perfectly!!! I ordered Herb crusted chicken and it was terrible over seasoned in edible completely salty. I asked them to remake my dinner with just grilled chicken no seasoning. The second dish was much better. They still added seasoning to the onions and mushrooms but at least it wasn't overkill. I've come to realize that they put this seasoning on everything. It is extremely powerful and I am very sensitive to sodium and MSG if you eat here and you have food, allergies or sensitivities, please keep in mind to tell them to hold off on the seasoning and just grill Your item they put it on the steaks they put it on the chicken and shrimp. Overall, it's a fun place to be especially with the kids. They play great music and dance through the isles. I visited the bathroom it was pretty clean and restaurant seemed clean. Our waitress was not too friendly. I still don't even know what her name was but the manager came over several times and asked us how everything was going. I took my daughter for a early dinner on NYE didn't feel like cooking :) I must say that I ordered the Ny strip and oh my god was it good!!! I've been a couple of times and always get the Dallas but this steak blew the other steaks out of the water! I grew up eating at Peter Luger's and this is right there with them! American Me, I like Texas Roadhouse. I know, there are a lot of people out there who avoid chain restaurants at all costs and I tend to do that as well however, this is a great spot when you have some noisy, hungry kids. It is a very boisterous place and there is almost always a line to get in. The place is all wood and fake Tex / Southwest / fishing stuff decorate the walls and tops of booths. Since you can't eat the decorations, the food should at least be good and for my money, I would say this is a solid place that offers consistently good food at a decent price. There are plenty of options available for kids, adults, meat eaters or not... a "little something for everyone" approach but it works for the most part. I tend to stick with ribs, since I find those a P.I.A. to cook myself. Kid options are decent and my guys eat it, which says a lot. Portion sizes are big enough - it is easy to have leftovers. If sitting at a table is not your style, there is a decently-sized bar available with a lot of large screen tv's to watch while you eat and sip your cocktails. Drinks for the adults are well made and prices are acceptable for the adult beverages. Table service can range from awesome to merely ok - so be prepared to walk your server through what you want, or be surprised if they are two steps ahead of you. Prices are decent for the food, considering the economy right now, I'd say it is a pretty good deal overall. Parking lot for this location is on the small side and typically jammed - but there is plenty of overflow available across the mall road. Pro-tip: there is a sort of "call-ahead" function available online for seating - it is still hit or miss even with that, but it typically cuts down the wait time, particularly if you are just wandering in on a weekend evening. read more

The staff was organized and meal was good, Steak was cooked how I ordered and I especially like the yeast rolls they serve with the meal. I went there recently for my birthday. I was trying to find a free birthday meal but found out that points needed to be accrued first by joining the club. Was a little disappointed that both waiters knew it was my birthday and I didn't get a free dessert but ended up stopping by another restaurant nearby on way home to treat myself. It wasn't the waiters fault but still, I thought maybe they could have asked. The wait staff usually do a special birthday dance which they did for everyone there. My go to value spot. Specially for early bird Monday-Thursday . I only get the pork chops. They're always so tender and come with a nice peppercorn gravy on the side. Side salad with ranch and either a backed potato with butter and sour cream or a sweet potato with butter and cinnamon. Sometimes a cactus blossom or fried pickles appetizer and a Coke Zero with lime. Not to mention peanuts and yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. Delicious value. + some staff line dancing entertainment. We called in an order for pick up. This was dinner for two. Bone in rib-eye and a strip steak. Both were ordered medium rare. The ribeye was clearly a thicker cut of meat. When we got home and opened the containers both steaks were RAW. We called them and they promptly offered to make us new steaks and said don't bring the bad ones in. They said they'd be ready in 5-7 minutes. Red flags should ah e gone of but I was so tired they didn't. So after driving there a second time clearly thinking the problem resolved- not so much. The next steaks were mooing. Called again and asked to just refund my money. They stated "it doesn't work that way and I would have to send an email to their corporate headquarters. So now after driving there twice, I have to write an email to get my money back for food that could have given me food poisoning. Seriously all they need in that kitchen is a $14 thermometer. They did refund the money and also sent a $60 voucher toward a future meal. My opinion of this gesture was so that they wouldn't be negatively reviewed. I liked this place the minute I stepped inside. The staff was friendly, almost a little creepy but just shy of that. Then, the staff assembled a few minutes later to sing a song. It was 2 pm and not many people were there, so I felt bad for them and clapped. What the heck, I mean they probably have to do that, so I can show a little appreciation, right? Next came the waiter, well trained, polite and helpful. He suggested the fried pickles. I actually don't eat fried food and not overly fond of pickles unless on the lower east side of NYC and buying them from a barrel sold by a Hasidic man with long sideburns and a hat, but my guest wanted them so we ordered. I tasted one, it was greasy and yet had a weirdly appealing pickled taste. OK, I get the fried pickle thing, but still not my bowl of cherries. In reviewing the menu, I look for things they are well known for, and from their own advertising, it would seem they think they have good ribs. So I tried them. My guest had a burger with toppings. As part of my meal, I was served a bowl of chili. It was more like a small cup and it was more like tomato soup, with a few little shreds of burger meat and a bean or two. As far as Chili goes, it would have received an N/A mark in my book because it wasn't really chili that anyone would want. My ribs came, they were like a round cylinder shaped, more like a ribs tube of sorts. I looked at it and was trying to decide if I should cut it? byte it? I dunno, pick it up like a hot dog? Geez, why so many decisions over how to eat my lunch, I guess I must be old, I like ribs to look like... ribs? I decided to take a steak knife to the tube and I got to the meat. The waiter told me 3-4 times they were "fall-off-the-bone" juicy and delicious. First byte and I felt my tongue start to shrivel up, they were dry as overcooked meat could be. I tried dousing them with BBQ sauce, it helped but they were still dry. Note on giving back food: I don't like to do that. Eating at a restaurant is a social as well as a gastronomic experience, so if I give back a meal, I'll have to wait some indeterminate amount of time, while my guest is finishing their meal. So in general, I don't - and prefer to eat a lukewarm meal or one that's slightly off-kilter than do the give-back thing. Well, the waiter came by at that moment and asked "How's the food?" and I explained what my experience was. He took them back and I ordered a pulled pork sandwich instead, with no intention of eating the bread. I am gluten intolerant so I don't eat bread ever. Very quickly, a plate appeared with a pulled pork sandwich and I tasted the meat, it was moist and flavorful, so I was ok. This was the first time I am dining here, I have a policy that whenever I have a problem at a restaurant, I usually give them a second try. So at some point, I may do that. But for now, I am stickin with my 3 stars for the quality of food. read more

Sunday my day that I prefer not to cook. My husband chose one of our favorites for its comfort level. And because he doesn't need to dress up. They must have a new manager because he went around checking on guests and smiling what a pleasant surprise. I started out with the Legend margarita which softened every muscle so much for physical therapy. Then I ordered a prime rib now mind you we were there after the Giants lost another game at 4pm and no longer had medium rare but I did get medium. My husband ate off the veteran free meal voucher which was a very nice gift to all the veterans. The team of staff was very enthusiastic with their dance number even though they were pushed out of the back room. We had a great waiter who anticipated our needs and we were very impressed. We were definitely early birds and were seated quickly. I think there's also a HH from 3-6. The servers were awesome and answered all our questions and accommodations. That being said we both got the prime rib that's on special Friday through Sunday. It's really good comes with 2 sides. I chose a house salad and loaded baked potato and my steak was rare. Everything was great My only complaint is how salty everything is. I know this shouldn't be astounding but don't go here if you have heart problems of any kind because you'll be on diuretics for the next few days. I wasn't disappointed seeing as I don't have a sodium restriction, the prices adequately reflect what you get and the service was good. Solid steak - it's a chain so nothing too special . Waiter was pretty good , no complaints at all . The BBQ chicken was a little too smothered with sauce , but it was tender ; steak was also cooked well . Pretty annoying how stupid ass covid ruined the peanut experience here , now you have to get them in a bag - which I think is stupid . This pandemic really has me very annoyed , but w.e . Service was not great Entrees were not hot Although we mentioned a birthday celebration my son didn't get the birthday song. The ambiance was nice and the kids enjoyed the dance routine the staff did. One person out of my party had never been there before and she said she'd only return for the bread and butter.
