The best prime rib I ever had, hot, fresh, with great flavor.

The best prime rib ever had, and I've been around US trying them. I sat at the bar, he was attentive and gave me good suggestions. Ambiance was relaxing and rustic.

What a great find! Located in a building that's almost hidden, it faces the railroad tracks and the side street. The dining area is small, or should I say intimate on one side, and a butcher shop with great meats and cheeses on one side, many locally sourced and top flight on the other. We ordered a series of small plates, and each was one I'd repeat. Starting with the pickled cauliflower with a hint of curry, followed by hot honey shrimp, mushroom toast, chicken meatballs, and Brussels sprouts, each dish was hot, large enough to enjoy without stuffing us, and extremely tasty. Parking is available both on the street and next door at a large garage. The meal, with one glass of wine, ran about $45/person, with tip. I promise I will return...

Have been meaning to stop here for a loooong time and left completely satisfied. Maggie was a personable great server! Kept the water full. 2pm on Sunday... it was pretty quiet when I arrived. Shared the outdoor patio with 1 family and their canine. I had the Benedict. It was delicious. Wish there were more veggie options to accompany the protein packed meal. Menu usually changes daily, according to Maggie.

Having been here before and absolutely loved the place, this review hurts my soul but it must be said. When you're charging the kind of money this place does for a cocktail, having your bartender in training ask the bartender doing the training whether adding bitters will make your Old Fashioned taste bitter? Yeah, not a good look... No atmosphere to speak of, overpriced food and drink, and one of the two bartenders on duty has to read a manual to make drinks. I get that everyone has to start somewhere and that a weekday lunch in the summer might be the best time to start someone but there is something to be said for having the basics down to a science... 1 star is being generous.

My sister and I wanted to try and new spot for brunch and The Butcher and the Bar did not disappoint. We were seated quickly and had an attentive server. He explained the menu and local farm to table as well as the butchery which was really great to know how involved they are with their community. The atmosphere was very cozy and while the restaurant wasn't large, you didn't feel cramped or too loud inside. We thoroughly enjoyed our burgers- literally ate the entire plate and were just so pleased we tried it. Parking was very easy too- there's a large lot right next to the building so if you can't park in front of the restaurant there is ample parking nearby. Definitely will be back!

Saw this place on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives, and to quote Guy Fieri, "this place is legit!" I went in for lunch with my wife, and we were shocked at some of the details of this place. It's a scratch kitchen and 99% of what's made is made by hand. All the way down to the ketchup, mustard, and mayo they literally make everything. They source all of their ingredients from local , farmers and purveyors and they identify where every product is sourced from. The menu is so fresh that it literally changes daily so you can always look forward to something new. Staff was very helpful and educated on the menu and we had a spectacular time. Ashley was our server and she was pleasant and very knowledgeable. I recommend this to anybody, that's looking for a place to dine in southern Palm Beach County.

A wonderful casual place for good food and drinks. We visited on a Friday night for dinner and we really enjoyed our meal. Things to know: 1. When you walk in the front door, the butcher shop is to the right and the restaurant & bar are to the left. 2. They serve Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner every day except Monday. 3. Each menu changes daily! 4. This is the place that really has the meats! 5. Their house made hot dog is supposed to be something special, but it's not available for dinner The staff here are super helpful and friendly. I ordered a Copperpoint beer and it came nice and cold in a cool glass. We loved the food. We started with an order of the Marinated Olives and an order of the Chicken Meatballs. There were a lot of olives and it included a nice mixture of green and black olives. The Chicken Meatballs were bathed in a beautiful sauce of San Marzano tomatoes and ricotta cheese, 3 to an order. The meatballs were light but not super flavorful (because they were chicken) but the sauce sure was delicious. This was a nice appetizer and wasn't overly filling. We enjoyed the skirt steak kabobs and the Butcher's Burger (with an added 2nd patty). Both were delicious! The skirt steak was tender and perfectly cooked with a wonderful chimichurri sauce. The burger included 2 delicious patties with amazing flavor from the griddled onions and special sauce. We had a wonderful meal. I hope to return soon for lunch to try their famous hot dog!

The Butcher and The Bar is well known-- even Guy Fieri loved it-- for a reason: the small plates pack a big punch. The menu rotates constantly based on the quality and seasons of the local ingredients that are highlighted in each plate. The servers are ready to make great recommendations based on your taste, and are honest when it comes to how much food they recommend ordering. My only regret is not taking more photos; in my defense, I was too busy eating and enjoying the atmosphere!

I am giving 3 stars because the server was great and my family loved to food - but personally, the food was "ok". We arrived on yesterday (Saturday) afternoon. I was surprised and concerned that it was not too busy - I think it was about 1:30 and only two other tables were seated. We were greeted promptly by our server Colleen. We got an appetizer of potato wedges and ordered our sandwiches. The highlight of the meal was the potato wedges - the four of us ate them so fast I was able to get a picture. Crispy yet still tender inside and served with a Smokey homemade ketchup and a (from memory) salsa verde mayo. Hubby loved his meatball sub. Others at the table enjoyed theirs too. My observation of their sandwiches along with experience with my burger is that the buns are just too large given the protein size. My burger was a surprisingly small 5 oz patty and the bun was so thick that it drowned out the taste of the burger. Look at the pics to see how the meatball took up 1/2 or less of the height of the bun. After talking to the other 3 in our group, we all felt the meat to bun ratio was WAY off. Huge bummer. I have several food intolerances so the burger (or a salad) were my only options. With that said, my family may come back but I would not.

I wish I could give the Butcher and the Bar more stars. Went there for a special event for my spouses birthday, we were in search of a great steak with outdoor seating This place is excellent! Their cocktail, beer, wine and other alcohols' list is amazing, The server, Ray knows more about bourbon's than I thought possible! I would call him a Spirits Sommelier! The whole team of servers were attentive-always ahead of need. We both got the 16 ounce prime and they were incredible! All of their meats are locally, sourced, and free of unwanted treatments and chemicals. Prime Rib dinners at Sunday nights starting at 5 pm. I would also like to add that I called a few days early to verify the day and it went to voicemail. Within 10 minutes, the owner was calling me back and answering all of my questions. That is great customer service. We Definitely will return to try other things on their menu.

Wow!! Everything is homemade down to the ketchup and mustard...the hotdog has got to be the best dog I've ever had! Definitely not your average dog is quite the understatement! Our waitress Colleen was the best of the trip!

Food was great but not exactly like the picture I seen when I was looking this place up I was a little disappointed. Service was great the young lady Jordan that works here she is so sweet and totally recommend her it you come here. Ambiance was very uncomfortable I sitting next to the bar and this bartender was cruelty making awful comments being racism towards the Hispanics community and I am Hispanic and I will never be coming to place like this when we are all humans and should be getting treated the same. I can't believe this beautiful restaurant can be having people like this working in this places making awful comments in front of customers!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Met some friends for dinner and drinks a few weekends ago. We had a round of drinks at the bar before we sat for dinner. I was impressed with their cocktail menu. The boys had a rum flight which was unique and different so handclaps for doing something outta the ordinary from other bars/restaurants. We got pimento cheese, mushroom toast, olives and pickled cauliflower for starter. Hubby got the steak dish and I got the porchetta. Then we all opted for 2 desserts to split. The olive cake tasted homemade like someone's grandma made it with love. The other was a bread pudding with bacon which was delicious! Will definitely come back for drinks and apps!

Erica was our server and she is lovely, both professional and warm. She's highly knowledgeable and provided a great introduction regarding the menu as well as Chef Muir's Argentine and Italian specialities. My friend and I enjoyed H20 and this is a venue that blesses the table with their own water carafe. I'm a huge fan! We placed our orders which wasn't an easy task given the variety of scrumptious options. The two of us enjoyed catching up while waiting for our meals. During this time, we were served an Amuse-bouche. It was a wrap featuring but not limited to asparagus, burrata, and pesto. This had a very clean taste. I enjoyed it but one bite was sufficient. I wasn't left desiring more. Fast forward to our generous sized starter salads. She enjoyed the Caesar and I opted for the deconstructed wedge but with sherry vinaigrette. This salad is not the typical wedge and highly enjoyable. I prefer the way Muir plates it rather than the cumbersome stacked style. Not to mention, the combination of ingredients brings it to another level. For entrées, my bestie ordered one of her go to dishes, the bronzino. I was indecisive and caught between a seared halibut and a slow fired prime angus steak. In the end, I veered in a completely different direction. The bucatini with braised oxtail, wild mushrooms, and pecorino was the winner. This proved to be an excellent choice. All breads and pastas are made in-house so this was a major selling point. We also shared sides of asparagus and creamed spinach but opted to go light on the sauce. The creamed spinach was the best I've eaten in my life and definitely left me desiring more. Unfortunately, I didn't take notice of the bread service until after the meal but I highly recommend ordering if you're a bread junkie like me. Due to the fact we were full from our delicious dinner, we didn't order dessert but it was a challenge saying no to the bread pudding. It sounded divine but taking a dessert paired with ice cream to go is never a wise choice nor as enjoyable as savoring it in the restaurant. We received a set of 4 mini desserts with the check. These consisted of 2 brownie bites and 2 delicious citrus madeleine cakes. #notonebadbite was eaten throughout the night! The prices are more than I'd typically spend on dinner, but the artistry, customer service, and high quality of the Michelin recognized cuisine warrants the price tags. This is a restaurant I would return to and I highly recommend dining here. While we didn't take advantage, they're currently featuring a prix fixe 3- course taste of summer menu. Finally, hospitality here is an important part of the culture. Nothing here is rushed so I suggest not dining here if you are pressed for time or don't enjoy a fine dining experience. In summary, this was a fantastic meal and pleasurable dining experience!

The restaurant has its own separate building. And it has a small private self parking lot. Inside there are two rooms. The one in front has large windows and is lighter and airier. The room in back has a small bar and two tables. Plus a service area and the unisex bathroom. Reservations are a must. We used open table. We came early and luckily our table was ready. Our server, Erica, was a gem. Warm and welcoming. And professional. Didn't miss a trick. She explained the menu to us. There were no specials that evening. I'd original thought I would order the branzino -- which she said was good -- but as they specialize in meats, I ordered steak. We were given an amuse bouche first. Avocado and tomato on a mini taco. Too cute. I started with a Caesar salad. I like anchovies and there were several on top. The salad had a nice garlicky dressing and cubes of sourdough bread croutons. My husband had seared foie gras with figs to start. The appetizer listed on the menu is actually pate -- as Erica explained -- which we didn't realize -- but she said if my husband preferred, they could do an actual piece of foie gras. Yes, please. It's one of his favorites. He said it was spectacular. For our entrees, we both order the small filet mignon. He ordered medium rare and I ordered medium. We like Pittsburgh charred. For a side (they are big enough to share), we got the creamed spinach. Both our steaks were perfectly cooked. We had been given steak knives, but each steak was amazingly tender. And delicious. The spinach was good. It needed just a touch of salt. We ate every bite of both items. Pre-dessert, they give an amuse dessert (!). A small plate of two mini lemon Madeline's and two small round chocolate brownie like cake. For dessert, we shared a slice of flourless chocolate cake. It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The slice looked meager at first, but the chocolate is so rich and dense and fudgy that I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. I brought a small piece of it home for later when I knew I would appreciate it more. We are already trying to figure out an event or celebration that we can use as an excuse to return here. Talk about a memorable meal? We will think of this superb restaurant for all the rest of our days.
