Went on a.busy Saturday night but since we joined the virtual wait list our wait at the restaurant was only about five minutes. Our server Veronica was quick and cordial. I had the half rack of ribs and it was better than I expected, good flavor and fell off the bone. My daughter's filet was ordered medium and it was a touch overdone . Overall nice ambiance but for a few minutes the music was cranked uncomfortably loud but luckily this was corrected. Yes, I know this is a chain restaurant. However, employs a lot of students and young workers from the area. The cut of meat for the filet mignon is outstanding at this price point. The bar is always fully stocked and the drinks are fun, fruity, and strong. The beers are served cold and you choose want a glass or off the bottle. It's important to note that the reservations online for their website is completely useless. The young hostesses have no idea how the reservations drop reservations. We checked in at the hostess station and were told they would text us to go Edit in our car. We ended up waiting patiently an extended 30 minutes, thinking that the online reservation was working. Finally went up and checked with the hostess who could not find our reservation. After searching they eventually found it and informed us of the issues they are having with the software. They were soggy. Also, the rattlesnake bites were very greasy and also soggy. Not crisp at all. Steaks were cooked to our liking. When seated we asked to be moved to another table because the AC was blowing directly on our table and it was very uncomfortable. I was at the restaurant for dinner tonight and Ethan was our waiter. He made all of us feel uncomfortable with his rude mannerism. When we sat down he "threw" the napkins on the table. Manager "Maritsa" came and gave me a back story how these roaches came in and made this place their home, then she left without even cleaning it. Our server appeared to be annoyed and in a bad mood especially after she dropped several plates and bowls on the ground/ partially landing on one of the people in our group. Truly one of the best experiences I have had dining in a LONG time. First, great prices and the wait time for our food was surprisingly so quick. The staff truly worked as a team and it was refreshing to witness. We had not one but two managers check on us, dirty plates were immediately removed off the table, and our drinks were never empty. I called the day before veterans day to ensure they were giving veterans vouchers again. Yep, we sure are. When I got there at 4 on veterans day (they open at 3) they told me they were only giving vouchers between 11-2. I said you couldn't have told me that? Can I get a voucher now? Nope. I read a lot of poor reviews on this place, but my grand daughter wanted to go there for her birthday. We went around 8pm on a week night and got seated right away. Waitress was great and attentive (can't remember her name). We all had steak, cooked to order and had a problem with one of the sides that the waitress took care of right away. I really think the poor reviews are from people that go during rush hour, when everyone wants everything, right away. Be patient, courteous and you get it back 10 fold! We will be back! read more

Went here for an early dinner with my husband. He had the country fried steak with baked potato and a salad and everything he had was great! I had the ribeye which I ordered medium rare.. came out medium well- well done. I'm not usually one to send food back but I couldn't handle it and anyone who eats their steaks rare to med rare understands. That is the only reason I don't give this experience 5 stars. Keep in mind the server does wait for you to cut into your steak as soon as it hits the table (my fault for seeing it and not saying something) BUT after our wonderful server Ashley came over to check on us she immediately fixed the problem, got the kitchen to cook me a new steak which came out served by a manager perfect the next time! She was very knowledgeable, gave us recommendations and options and was very attentive to us even in busy 5 o'clock dinner rush! I give Ashley 5 stars and more, and the food a 4 because everything was awesome... just awesome the second time around for me. Where do I begin? The Texas Roadhouse isn't even close to how it used to be from the onion appetizer to the salads. Steaks suck just like their service did yesterday. About 10 years ago we took our boy there for his birthday. Our order was awful and so was service. We decided that night we would never return. Recently we started hearing how great it was. My daughter has been wanting to eat there so after her doctors appointment we went. We ordered the onion appetizer, salads, steak & a loaded baked potato. It was difficult to get drink refills. A little advice just skip this place. Service sucks or maybe hostess and waitresses were all having bad days. I don't know. We won't be coming back even if you paid us. We are dealing with the after effects of eating there. Stomach cramping about 2 hours after eating there. We still aren't feeling well with frequent bathroom stops. read more

Texas Roadhouse - no longer a good experience Out of the last 3 visits to Texas Roadhouse, 2 out of the 3 meals we ordered were undercooked. On one visit, the smothered chicken was almost raw. On the next visit, two hamburgers were ordered medium well and were given to us rare (bloody). In neither case did they apologize. When they returned the hamburgers - they were practically burnt. So, we went from rare to burnt and nobody cared. Interestingly, the lady sitting at a table near us, ordered a steak medium well and they served it medium rare - she was NOT happy. Undercooked meals aren't even the worst of it. You show up at 4:00 pm and are told the wait is 25 to 35 minutes, show up at 4:30 pm and the wait is 45 minutes plus. The only seating for waiting is up by the front doors, around 6 to 8 people maximum can sit there, in a non-air conditioned foyer where you have the pleasure of roasting in the hot sun pouring in through the windows, for 45 minutes or you can choose to sit outside where it's even hotter. So, they clearly don't care about seniors, since they force them to stand for 30 to 45 minutes. While we were there standing in the air conditioning near the hostess desk, we witnessed numerous people, primarily seniors complain that there was nowhere to sit, and consequently, many of them removed their names from the waitlist. The hostess just shrugged her shoulders. There is a long wall near the hostess station where everybody tends to congregate while waiting. Many of the people standing around wondered why they didn't put a long bench there. Clearly, many people were uncomfortable standing around waiting, including us. We asked to speak to the manager. The manager's response was due to COVID everyone was supposed to wait in the car - yet - not one person (including us) was told that and to top it off, not one single employee was wearing a mask and there was certainly no social distancing since everyone was crowded and standing around about 1 foot away from everyone, so clearly COVID is now the go-to excuse for their incompetence. The lady standing beside us, recently had a hip replacement and was in much pain, and being forced to stand in front of the hostess station. She stated she wasn't coming back. We spoke to 2 different managers about this issue and both were extremely unfriendly and rude. When we stated this was no longer a pleasant dining experience, they shrugged their shoulders and really could care less. When we asked about more seating the blond manager said that there is plenty of seating outside and in the foyer (there really isn't). Clearly, she missed the whole point. She shrugged us off. I said that I would definitely be sharing our experience on social media and she told me to go ahead. They used to have a large area designated in the front with long benches where at minimum 20 people could sit down and wait. This area has been shut down and not replaced. They clearly, since we are seniors and many of the seniors who were standing around, were upset that they were forced to stand around for 45 minutes - don't really care about seniors. We will not be walking into a Texas Roadhouse restaurant again. read more
