Sadly, not a good experience. The two stars instead of one are because the staff was generally helpful & friendly and the food was quite good in both quality and value. I selected a 24-oz bone-in ribeye from the glass case and ordered it medium rare (warm red center). It arrived overcooked to medium (pink), which our waitress agreed with. I went back to the case and selected another 24-oz bone-in ribeye. I got to watch my wife eat her dinner while I sat there hungry, waiting. When the second steak showed up, it was cooked as ordered and was delicious, but my wife was already done with her meal. I do give the waitress credit for repeatedly apologizing, and for bringing me fresh sides when the second steak showed up. When I paid the bill (see photo) using their on-table, digital device, I immediately noticed that the first steak (the one that was sent back overcooked) was priced at $35.99, while the second, identical replacement steak was $48.99. When I brought this to the attention of the server, she said it was because she actually undercharged me for the first steak and so the second steak's price was actually correct. I wasn't too pleased, especially as she didn't bother to mention anything. The waitress sent the manager over, who was great, and she gave us a gift certificate for two, $20 entrees. She also comped us one dessert, which we appreciated. At this point, I was more or less OK with the experience, because nobody's perfect, and the restaurant made a meaningful gesture to address the two issues (overcooked first steak and second steak priced $13 more on the bill). The worst part of the experience came when I took one more look at the bill after getting home. I did some quick math and realized that they calculated my 20% tip on BOTH steaks (the returned $35.99 one AND the $48.99 replacement), as well as on the $8.99 dessert that the manager had comped us. This resulted in the waitress getting a 30%, $27.59 tip instead of a 20%, $18.59 tip (see attached bill). This really disappointed me, and put a bad taste in our mouths about the Dartmouth Texas Roadhouse. read more

I do not normally eat at this one, but I tried it out. I ordered a steak and ribs combo with baked potato and Corn. Said 20 mins was ready in 15....sounds good. I go in and pick up the food. She looks at the ticket looks at the bag hands it to Me 1. I get the wrong food. Sigh. I'm home now. I don't think to check in the restaurant as she looked in front of me 2. I call back. Transfer too manager and this is when it got awful. I had ordered at 9isj received food around 915 and checked by 940 and they close at 10. So I couldn't return the dish, I couldn't eat. (They gave me shrimp ALLERGY ALERT) so she says give me your email. I give it to her. She didn't repeat it back or anything. Says she will send a gift card and and hangs up in my face. I wasn't rude I was polite. I just couldn't believe it 3. I never received the gift card. She said before she hung up " sorry this happened we will sen y out a gift card to cover the food and extra because you didn't get to eat tonight" she sent nothing 4. I call back the next day. Kayla handled it. She was nice and told me no gift card was ever sent out or record of my email. She sent me $50 my food was $40 lol so to not have dinner and half was going to be lunch both ruined. Sent the wrong food and rudeness I was given $10 extra lol I wasn't going to share this but this was pretty terrible experience. Texas Roadhouse pickup was super easy and the staff were very friendly. I loved that you just wait in your car for a text when your order is ready and then grab it from the pickup window...quick and stress-free minus the awful parking at this location, it always seems to be full and hard to find a spot. We ordered the family meal with sirloin steaks, and it was an incredible amount of food for the price. You get four steaks (2 six-ounce and 2 eight-ounce), and all of ours were cooked perfectly medium rare even by the time we got it home. It also comes with four pints of sides, a large family-size salad, and twelve rolls with all the fixings. You can half gallons of tea or lemonade, so we added lemonade. It was very sweet, but I watered it down and honestly got even more lemonade out of it, so not a bad deal. Overall, for nights when you don't feel like cooking, this is unbeatable value. There are different price/food options, but we paid $55 and it was more than worth it. I've eaten inside before and always have a good experience at this location, the customer service is great and the restaurant is clean. But it is a chain steakhouse so flavor can be lacking at times. read more

One of my customers today was talking about that restaurant I didn't have dinner planned when I got out of work and I good definitely eat a steak. Haven't been there in 20 years. Was immediately greeted walked us to a table put down delicious bread and immediately asked us for a drink order. The waitress Raven was very attentive and honestly within 10 minutes our order was placed even though the restaurant was full. Whoever is running that place deserves kudos. The food was absolutely amazing! I had the sliders and sweet potato with marshmallows and cinnamon butter and I ate every last bite. Absolutely delicious! My waiter was extremely nice. So I haven't been here in awhile and my wife suggested we stop in. We ordered grilled shrimp app and it was very good. I ordered a steak medium rare, and she ordered the BBQ chicken. It took a really long time for the food to come out. So long I almost thought they forgot about us. I should have known what I was in for at this point. The food finally came out and my steak was not medium, not even rare just raw. Normally I don't like a restaurant to bring back a steak to cook it more, but my wife was insisting I do as I hadn't eaten yet that day. The server even said there's no way that was even rare. So she took it back. The manager came back few minutes later, the manager came to the table with the steak, now with deeper, darker grill lines. I cut into it and it was cooked a bit more bright red and tough as leather. I'm didn't want to be a Karen so I just said it looked ok. I had one bite and it was hot on the outside and cold inside, with zero flavor. Not a spec of seasoning hit that steak. I just stopped eating and gave up. It's pretty crowded usually but I did find one open seat at the bar. Bartender Meaghan was fantastic. Came right over to see what I wanted to drink, offer me bread and give me a menu. Last month, I had some errands in Dartmouth and decided to use my veterans' slip for a free lunch at Texas Roadhouse. My wife ordered the Dallas filet for around 25 bucks and we were shocked on how small and thin it was , i ordered the NY strip 12 oz medium rare and it came out rare and seasoned with spices i did not like besides being chewy and not juicy at all. They should offer an option if you want your steak seasoned. The sides were decent like the baked potatoes but charged us extra to have it loaded. The service was excellent although don't come here for the cheap cuts of steaks . Choice cuts of steak at any supermarket is way better than what you get here. read more

My husband and I had dinner at the Faunce Corner Road location on May 20, 2023 and our customer experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered the Steakhouse Filet Salad and requested no bacon, no onion. I asked, "could I have a little Monterey Jack and Cheddar instead." The waitress quickly made note on her pad of paper and off she went. When our bill arrived, there was a line item of $0.79 for each cheese! It was never communicated these were "extra because they did not come with the salad." We asked the waitress to adjust the bill by taking off the two charges, as it was never communicated to us fulfilling the request was an additional fee. She came back to our table and said her manager would not allow the adjustment and repeated the cheese is "extra." We paid the bill and on the way out approached the "manager" in a red shirt and explained the situation all over again. Again, the manager refused a $1.58 adjustment to our $51.00 bill. The customer experience question: Is it worth losing a customer for life over $1.58? It wasn't the charge so much as how the customer experience was handled by Texas Roadhouse. Walked in, very busy and noisy! The front desk person seated us immediately and provided warm rolls, flavored butter, and peanuts. Our waitress appeared shortly, very friendly and helpful ! When the food came delivered by a Sherpa we knew something was wrong. He told us the story that he almost ran out of oxygen while crossing the dining room from the kitchen. Ordered a NY Strip Steak and was given a regular sirloin steak. I come here all the time; and usually pretty good. Brought it to the attention of the managers but I did it too late. They did nothing about it. I come here all the time, so not happy. Even though I'm partially to blame (should have realized it wasn't a NY Strip Steak immediately but my mind was elsewhere).
