We were seated and actually had a really good waitress named Ashley. I actually hope she seeks employment with a restaurant with higher standards, because she felt terrible about the issues we had and did her best to try to help us. We were seated and the table was sticky. We opened SIX DIFFERENT ROLLS OF SILVERWARE and they literally all had food residue on them. One actually still had a piece of onion stuck to it. We ordered bowls of chili and my wife's had pieces of gristle in hers that were inedible. She went to drink her water and it had pieces of food or something floating in it. At that point we canceled our order and left. I would like to reiterate that our server Ashley was in now way responsible for the issues we had and was doing her best to try to resolve the issues. This Texas Roadhouse fucking sucks. First of all, the takeout servers were kind of rude, like they were in a rush to get me out of the way. Second of all, the food was pretty much all cold. Third, I ordered a steak with gravy and fried onions, a sweet potato and the red chili, the did not give me gravy or the red chili, and the onions were not what I was expecting, they were slimy and cold. Forth, there was A TON of long, black hair cooked into my steak, it was so disgusting I almost threw up. Its like they don't "have time" pay attention to the orders enough to remember one side and some damn gravy, they also can't be bothered to wear hair nets or just keep their hair up. Ok. This is my first time to this Texas Roadhouse I have to say that from now on this is where I am coming. It is rare when you go to a restaurant and have an extremely helpful waiter that is attentive but also knows when to lay back and not talk you to death. Today I have found that waiter in Mr. Anthony Perry. This guy is awesome. Not only was Mr. Perry awesome but we also spoke with Bob Carroll, one of the managers. Bob was awesome making rounds ensuring everything was right and the steaks were cooked properly. I can't lie, the Service here was the best I have had in a very very long time. Also, the food was great. My huge a!! Steak was cooked perfectly, the blooming onion was great, the drinks were good and I was stuffed before I even got to my steak because it was properly smothered. I'm really tired so this will be a quick one.. I was soooo hungry after a long road trip and we decided on this location. My 2 dining partners had been and both loved the food. My sister got the blooming onion (good.. Nothing spectacular). I ordered the smothered chicken (with cheese) and baked sweet potato and mashed potatos (couldn't decide so got both... #piggie) and brocolli. Everything was good. Nicely seasoned. Blah. Came here for the first time tonight and will stick to the White Marsh location. It took an obnoxious amount of time to be approached for our order. It then took nearly an hour for our food to come out. While we waited we got to listen to employees loudly talk trash to the people sitting behind us (including a woman that appeared to be a manager or shift leader). We come here often since we live near by. Never had problem with anybody in this location. Until today. Went there to watch some boxing match, after ordering margarita with kicker bar tender came and asked if we wanted to order any food. We asked for a minute. 10 min later she comes back asking if we ready to order something to eat. We asked for another drink instead. Bar tender refused to sell me any more alcoholic beverages saying that it goes against treir corporate policy, because they are "family bar" but not a sport or drinking bar. I was wondering why don't they broadcast "Sesame street" on tv then. All of seven tv's around the bar were broadcasting boxing or baseball/football games. Make sense right? After this conversation she didn't bother to ask if we want to get some food or drink... She was too busy cleaning glasses and wiping down her bar. 20 min passed. After we finished our drink we just paid the bill and left hungry. Dissatisfaction? Perhaps. Customer service? Not so much. Furthermote, no big deal, we can always take our business elsewhere. Well I decided to give them another chance, and have been back a few times since, and my food has been fine; but, they have an issue with having clean silverware - let me rephrase that. There has been maybe 1 or 2 times that I've been there that I haven't had to have the server bring multiple sets before I find one with everything clean. My sister took me there this past Saturday, for my birthday. After 3 sets, with every set getting more disgusting, I had to change my order to freaking chicken tenders and french fries so that I would not need to use their silverware. Turns out here...5th time isnt a charm either...my best friend, his wife and I have tried our best to give this location multiple tries, tonight was the last straw. We showed up around 815pm no reservation but were offered a seat for 3 with almost no wait time, great surprise, maybe this time would be different! We sat down, and being regulars of this chain were already ready to order at minimal apps and alcohol beverages, 15mins went by and no one in site. Finally we see another table being a family of 6. As that happens we finally got our 1st glimps of our server, nice girl, seemed new and unexperienced...We tell her our order stating we needed 1 alcohol drink, 2 apps to start and placed our entree orders at the same time, asking only that they bring them after the apps. She seemed a bit overwhelmed, so we asked for her to repeat the order back as this was not the 1st time we've had "confusion" with our order here. She could barely read her own writing and had multiple items wrong or unconfirmed, including meat temps, basically par for the course here. She leaves; 15 more mins go by and we still dont receive water, bread or alcoholic drinks. We ask to speak to a manager, 10 more mins go by and during that time we see a beast of a server drop bread to 2 of his tables as well as bring them their alcoholic drinks, dude had a "hunting" hat and seemed like he really was on his stuff, wish we would have had him at least once here, maybe i wouldn't be writing this review, but i digress. Finally we wave him down and ask yet again to speak to a manager, 5 more mins go by oh and btw, during this 30 mins time laps our server walked by 4 times and didnt even offer a "sorry i got double seated" or "sorry bread is taking so long its being baked as we speak" or "sorry the bar is really backed up"...literally nothing...any way manager shows up same gentleman we've complained to before and shockingly enough as he shows up so does water and thats it, icing in the cake...anyway as we state we are leaving disgusted again, he gives same excuse he's givin before "thank you for letting me know, because if i don't know i can't fix it" well sir its been 6 months and 5 visits and nothing seems to change. This was my first time at this location and our waitress name was Amanda and she was amazing! She checked in on my family and I frequently but not to the point of it being overwhelming. On the recommendation of my stepson who has been here several times decided to take the family for dinner. It was the best decision. Middle of the week at 5pm. Seated within 5 minutes. Kiara took our drink order and appetizers. Drinks within 10 minutes and the bloomin onion and deep fried pickles hot and delicious. Sauces spicey but not overwhelming. Kiara took dinner orders. Salads appeared in 10 minutes. Steaks and grandsons food out just as we finished our salads and appetizers. All food was cooked as ordered. So we order at the window they said they will text us when our $60 ,order was ready or was placed at 9:30pm by 10:50 we havnt received a text I try to call no answer. My original bartender returns with some rolls that she says are hot out the oven an apologizes for the wait. Shannon finally return to the bar area with a smirk like she's waiting for me to say something. We pretty much go here regularly only for their salad with Italian dressing and their rolls with cinnamon butter and chili. While there usually is a wait, we always do call ahead seating. The service is just so so. The steaks for some reason always have to be sent back because they are usually either overcooked or way undercooked. The prices are decent and if you go before 6 there are several items that are on the 8.99 dinner special. read more

My husband and I returned on Friday night and what a disappointment. Our hostess did not appear happy, and it showed in her interaction with my husband and myself. When taken to our table -- not the hostesses fault -- it had not been cleaned, and the bus boy acted like he did not want to clean it off until he was told to (which had to be done several times). Our server -- NOT Joey -- came by about 10 minutes after we were seated. I originally ordered a beer, then changed my mind before he walked away and asked to cancel the beer and could I have ice water with lemon. 10 minutes later he came back with our drinks, minus the beer and lemon for my water. So, he takes our order and that's the last we see of him for over an hour. 5 minutes later, another server brings my cancelled beer to the table. Whatever. At this point, I feel like I need it. Our food comes out (brought by someone else): My 6 oz. NY strip is no bigger than a baseball cut in half. And I ordered it medium well, whereas my husband ordered his bacon cheese burger (really, dude, we are at a steak house) medium. Guess what my steak was?? And guess what his burger was?? Not sure how that got mixed up, but again, it is what it is. Oh, and who serves a burnt dinner roll with a meal? Not good in presentation, I can tell you that. Finally, 20 minutes after we finished our meal, still no original server. Our table is piled with our plates, an empty bread basket (from when we originally were seated) and three empty glasses (my husband and I ended up sharing the beer). My husband catches the attention of another server -- because at this point, we've had enough -- and our original server magically appears. We ask for the check and he puts a receipt on the table -- minus the billfold thingy they usually put checks in -- and walks away, again! After 15 more minutes of waiting, we get up, money and receipt in hand, and walk to the front. I ask the woman at the hostess station who do I give this to (meaning the payment) and she says, "Oh, you settle at your table." I explained that we've only seen our waiter 3 times and I was not comfortable leave cash and a receipt on the table so here you go, and walked out. I have been to Texas Roadhouse several times on a Friday evening (between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.) and this was the first time I have ever had a bad experience. I'm hoping this was a one time glitch, but if it happens again, I won't be back. Oh, and I only took away one star because Joey is the best server and I don't want to take away from my prior review. I had dinner here for the first time on 6/14/15 the ribs I had we're excellent better than Friday's in me and my mother's opinion.... I had a frozen margarita sangria which was good also. The only con was the place was freezing and by it being that cold I couldn't finish my cold drink lol. Pleasant hostess and inattentive wait staff. Without an entrance wait I still sat for 20+ minutes and called the main number and ordered a waitress to our table... 5 minutes later a manager still never visited to make a bad experience better. Poor Lynn had to face the fire (wonder person) and our order was taken and our drinks arrived. My son who is a Shirley Temple connoisseur of kids drinks... was served a drink without a cherry. Not a big deal; however, a staple of the drink. Angel, who's is perfectly named, a smile with every visit. The rest of the meal went without problems...
