We haven't been to Texas road house in YEARS.. why? I'm really not sure... but we will definitely be coming here more often. We were greeted instantly- seated at a booth which we requested so we can see the game above the bar area.. our waitress V (don't want to post her full name on here) was GREAT, Knowledgeable and personable.. it was nice to see employees laughing together and engaging in conversation.. you can tell they actually enjoy working there. Our food came out in a timely manner - everything was delicious- made fresh - the portions were quite larger than we expected so we did have to bring some home but can't complain about that! The manager came around, introduced himself and made sure we were enjoying everything (you don't find that often at restaurants) we had a great experience here and will be dining here again soon! read more

Four stars for the food & five plus plus stars for service! On a busy Tuesday evening, hubby & I sat at the bar. Laurie greeted us with a brilliant smile & offered us a basket of deliciously warm buns & a small bag of roasted peanuts. Hubby ordered a tall Gansett for $3.99. Seriously, he was in heaven! The cinnamon sugar butter is so delicious with those warm buns. We just had to ask for another basket! We both selected the hand-cut 6 oz sirloin with two sides. I ordered my steak medium rare & it came out perfect. My sides were a caesar salad & steak fries. I don't normally wax poetic about a salad but the lettuce was super fresh, ice cold & crispy. It was the perfect amount of dressing (& the other bartender asked if I wanted more - no but it was so nice to be asked). I didn't confirm but I think the croutons are made from the day old buns as they were airy & light. The steak fries were just a little crispy on the outside & super creamy on the inside. YUM! Hubby ordered his steak medium well & topped it with sautéed mushrooms, onions & green peppers. His sides were a fully loaded baked potato & the steamed veggies which included broccoli & carrot coins. He savored every bite! While the food was excellent (& at a great price - $12.99 for the Monday-Thursday 3-6pm early bird special), it really was the staff that made the meal. Laurie was bubbly & attentive. We engaged with the other bartender dude who was super friendly, the food delivery girl made sure we had everything & delivered the extra condiments with a smile & the manager came by to say hi. Even my water was refilled before I had to ask. Hubby asked for A1 & Laurie ran to the kitchen to get it. When we inquired about a bottle behind the bar, she told us it was the Texas Roadhouse steak sauce &, as we were bagging up our leftovers, she got a small container & put some in so hubby could taste it at home. We were craving steak and although we know they play music that we really don't have an appreciation for we decided this was the spot we needed to be for a tasty steak. We arrived shortly after they opened. Two employees were at the host/ess stand. Neither acknowledged us. Another party arrived after us and they were greeted. What? Eventually, after several staff coming and going, phone calls answered and us standing there being ignored, we were brought to a table. The seat was wet from condensation dripping from an overhead AC vent. The employee scampered away immediately without noticing the water. I stopped him, he took us to another table that also was wet. Third time was the charm. Apparently not wanting to be seated in a puddle labeled us as trouble makers. A different waiter attended us. He was delightful and although we have been here several times, he let me know things no other server had let me know such as I can get plan butter with the bread instead of the cinnamon butter. Cool. He really was delightful all the way through. At one point our waiter stopped by to let us know our orders were coming up next. It took over an hour (yes, we timed it) for our food to arrive. Other tables were getting their food even though we arrived before them. OK, maybe their order was placed first, or it looks like appetizers. Then it wasn't just appetizers, or salads, it was entrees. Why are we waiting so long? Finally our food arrives. I cut open my steak and it's rear, not medium. At this point, who I believe is the manager, comes over to check in on us and she brought an attitude with her that I don't understand. Was she offended that I wouldn't eat an undercooked piece of meat? Did she think I was trying to make a scene to get a free meal? I did nothing of the sort. I planned to just take it home and fix it later. She offered to 're-fire' my meat and get me another side. I sent my meat back to be cooked a bit more. When she brought it back she insisted I cut it open to be sure it was cooked appropriately. Honestly, by this point I just wanted to go home. I didn't intend to eat my steak there, I intended to ask for a to-go box because it had been so long since we ordered and I was just 'done' with whatever was going on at the restaurant on this day. But, as she gave me no choice, I cut open my steak, assured her it was fine and began to eat. It was wonderful. Very tender. Almost worth this obnoxious manager's interference. Almost. I have no idea why she took over instead of our waiter stopping by to check on us as is usual. Having yet another person added to the mix just made it so much worse and then her insisting that she get her way added to my stress level. Honestly, the other times I have been here the wait staff have been delightful, I wasn't asked to sit in a puddle, twice, and I only had one waiter for the entire experience. Why, upon opening, is this restaurant in such a cluster I have no idea. Perhaps the manager isn't just surly with customers. Whatever the reason, I'm going to think twice before returning. Too bad. Surprised how bad my service was tonight. Sat at the bar. Was waited on right away. Ordered bread. 15 minutes later no bread nor any other interaction with bartender. Paid my bill and told the bartender why I was leaving. No apology from him at all. Just basically said screw. Been here over 100 times. I can't believe that this place would allow this. The Warwick spot is an exception, it is bad in just about every thing including cleanliness, poor food preparation. It is hard to imagine how it is failing so badly. There is no accountability in this restaurant. One person sits you. One person gets you drinks. One person brings you the wrong appetizer. No one brings you bread no matter how many times you ask for it. Someone else brings you a cold meal and then the manager offers ranch as compensation. My husband and I went to Texas roadhouse house in warwick on 8/22/2025 with a friend for his birthday about 2pm. Mike was our waiter. He was amazing. His personality and service was fantastic. Unfortunately I left my jacket there. I went back the next day and to see if they had it. The girls in the front had it for me. While we were there we decided to stay for lunch. Alexis Weaver was the manager. She came over to see how we were doing. I was amazed at her age what a wonderful person she is. She talked to us like family. I felt like I knew her forever. That woman should definitely be recognized and Mike also. We will only go back if Mike and her are working. Thank you for hiring a wonderful staff. Me and my girlfriend come to Texas Road house every Friday after work to end the week. Usually we love it, the food is delicious, the service is great, and we have a great evening. Tonight was not the norm... we ordered our regular meals and when it was time for the chili to come out I noticed it was half full. I said whatever and took a bite and soon noticed what seemed to be French fries in it. Disgusted we returned it and explained to the waitress there was unknown food in my chili. She replied "Yeah that's probably French fries." like that is a normal thing to be in there. Through out the course of our dining we saw her probably 2 times and she appeared miserable to be waiting on us. She wasn't very friendly and ruined our Friday night tradition. Sad to leave 1 star but horrible experience on several levels. Poor service at the bar, horrible watered down margarita (asked for light salt got full salt on 1/4th on the glass). The salt was black "lava" salt that was more like table salt died with food coloring- it turned my margarita grey and got black coloring all over the glass and my hands and it was sticky. We had no napkins. The bartender didn't give us food menus and eventually we had to find our own across the bar along with finding our own napkins. Bartender never came back for our food order but when she checked on the couple next to us - we got her attention and asked if we could put an order in. We had to ask for peanuts and we got 1 bag of peanuts to share. Dried out and awful. Gone are the days of generous baskets of fresh roasted peanuts and buckets for shells. We had to ask for bread and cinnamon butter. Bartender dropped off a basket of 4 white rolls (no more cinnamon rolls or whole wheat rolls) but then we had to get her attention again and ask for plates. Then had to ask for silverware which she rolled her eyes like we're asking for the moon. There was another couple at the bar getting ignored like we were as well. They had to ask if they could put drink orders in, can they get peanuts, bread? Place a food order?? Get plates? Maybe a fork?? The bartender was not busy and did everything at a very slow pace with a humdrum attitude and she made it clear she'd rather have been anywhere else. Hospitality isn't standard at TRH any more. I ordered 8oz sirloin with grilled shrimp ($7 extra for shrimp), Mac&cheese and green beans for my 2 sides. The 5 shrimp were super small and so overcooked I was shocked this dish left the kitchen and then delivered to my table. The mac&cheese was cold (not nuked enough??) and the green beans smushy with weird smoked bacon bits. But it was the strange grease the green beans were sitting in that made them inedible. The steak was ok and edible (too much whatever the smoke spice was that they over used) - nothing to get excited about A manager came over and asked if she could get us anything and I said a carona. She said she couldn't bring it to me as long as I had the margarita. I said to take the margarita because it was pretty bad and so was the meal. She took the margarita off our bill and didn't address anything else. Waste of time and money. read more

We ordered the rattlesnake bites for a starter and a minute later the waitress comes back to say that they are out of those...so we picked the boneless Buffalo wings.We both ordered a margarita,my husband had a frozen and I had a regular one...The first round of drinks was fine.We ordered our meals ,my husband a steak with broccoli and a loaded potatoe and me a smothered chicken with mac and cheese and a sweet potatoe. The boneless wings barely had any sauce on them and were very dry.We ordered another drink while we waited for our dinner. My husband's steak was cooked good but his broccoli was brown and squishy.My smothered chicken was so burnt I almost broke a tooth eating the first bite.They literally threw a piece of cheese on the chicken.It wasnt even melted.The mac and cheese was literally elbows in a cup with no cheese.I was not to happy but continued to eat the chicken. The drinks finally arrived so I took a couple of sips to be able to dump the patron shot in and then squeeze the lime in.When I grabbed the lime it was so slimy and brown I almost puked thinking I just drank that.I called over the waitress and said I will not drink this, do you see this lime, she responded that I must have had a bad lime. I told her I wouldn't drink it so she took it away and came back with the receipt. It had a $5 credit on it.The drink itself is 16 dollars and the shot is 3 dollars extra. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over and I explained that his broccoli was brown and squishy, the Mac and cheese had no cheese and the lime in my drink was brown and slimey.She went on to explain that this Texas roadhouse uses a different cheese and that is just their receipe...she didn't offer to give another side for me or my husband.She rolled her eyes when I told her that I was not paying for this magarita and was appalled when they only took $5 off..She grabbed the receipt and came back with the bill minus one magarita mind you the drink with the shot was $19....I did not take the shot I put it in the drink that I did not drink and she took it away...She did not offer any kind of apology or anything. Hello, I would like to let the owner of this Texas Roadhouse in EG that your manager Olivia is the best Manager you have ever had at this Restaurant. I was there with my family of 4 and a baby on July 7th and had a small incident and Olivia went above and beyond. I have never been to a public place who has ever had a Manager like her. You are very lucky to have her.!!!!!! Her customer service, her smile, maki ​ ​ ​ ng sure customers are happy just everything about her. They should all be trained like her.
