Both were great! Homemade ranch was perfect. Sweet tea pleased even the pickiest of tea drinkers! The cons of the visit - server was a bit forgetful....promised rolls and never brought them - not that it really mattered (we were getting to-go boxes due to such larger portion sizes). This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in the Florence area. The food and service has always been top notch and consistent for me. The steaks, ribs and chicken are always cooked just they way I ordered them. Don't forget about the rattle snake bites for an appetizer or a grilled chicken salad if your counting calories. I travel for business and eat at a lot of different restaurants and this location is the worst I've been to. I mean EVERY visit to this location is bad. You name it, I've been sprayed with cleaner from an employee cleaning a nearby table, everyone at the table getting their food but one person not late they didn't even put the order in, rude hostesses in the front, etc... read more

Service is "hit & miss". If your party is more than 4 small people, you're out of luck. Our family of eight has been doing birthday suppers here for years. If we are lucky, we get the back corner table, but likely will get stuffed into a booth with a table for two in the isle next to the booth, in the rear, away from all the action. We are going to have to find a new "favorite" birthday supper spot. Also, if two children in the party are celebrating birthdays here (at their request) their "happy birthday" shout out by the staff should be done individually, not combined. This texas roadhouse is by far the best one i have been to. From the employees to the food this roadhouse is all around great. The apps come out fast and the food is fresh & hot everytime. I recommend you go in on a friday morning and try one of their lunch specials they have. read more

Worst Texas Roadhouse by far needs new management!! We had a party of 11 and I knew they can't seat that many so I told the hosts to break us up for two tables of 5 and 6 and we got there at 11 and she said okay we will get that ready we waited 20 min and still not seated and then the proceed to tell us there will be 30 more minute wait and in the time tables of 5,6,8 were immediately seated soon as I told them their name and not sure why we had to keep standing there when I told them we wanted to separate tables so we just left and I told the manger and she had zero care at all saying everyone has to be here to be seated( we was all there) then said she didn't know why it happened and I told here the waitress was not listening to what i said about spilling us up and the manager then laughs and says "hosts" corrected me because I said waitress and not hostess and had zero care I under 11 is a lot but 2 tables of 5,6 is not and just the way we was treated by hostess and manger was unreal!! I had top sirloin and some add on shrimp. The steak flavor and quality was excellent. I didn't hand pick my meat but that is an option that some will enjoy. The shrimp was heavy on garlic so keep that in mind if you think you want those. It was bustling at 5pm on Thursday but my party of two was seated right away. TR is one of our favorite restaurants in Florence. The food is always good. There has been some kind of change in management or something recently though. The servers apparently have no dress code at all. One server had on black spandex exercise pants with yellow polka-dot and a Home Depot equipment rental shirt. I stopped in on a Monday night and ordered takeout because I was craving salmon and broccoli, and I also ordered a sweet potato. The order time was okay but I was so disappointed when I got to where I was staying and there was no broccoli at all and the sweet potato was so burnt and mushy it was inedible. The salmon was fine. So maybe don't try takeout, at least you could fix your order there. For me, the drive was too far to go back. read more

Not worth the price I paid, for the lack of better words, way overprice out of the can food. I have never wasted my hard earned money in a more useless way than spending it on my visit to Texas Roadhouse. To start I will begin with the pros of my visit. 1. The waitress was very attentive and did her job to the best of her ability with the poor tools she was given to work with. 2. That was the only pro to my visit. Now, onto the cons of my visit to Texas Roadhouse. 1. Waited for over forty-five minutes for a table while I could see over nine booths open the whole entire time that I waited. 2. When my family and me were finally sat they could not have picked a worse place to sit us. Which was directly beside the kitchen where we could hear everything that was said back there. 3. I have never heard such profanity used in my life than what I heard used by employees in the kitchen. Most of which was yelled by one of the male managers on duty, at least he had on a collared shirt and a red hat so I am assuming he was a manager. 4. Peanuts on the table were stale. 5. Appetizer and salads all came out at the same time. I always thought that appetizers were supposed to come out before any of the other food, I guess I was mistaken 6. Only received one basket of bread, which was enough for us, due to the fact that the bread was only slightly warm and the cinnamon butter seemed like it had been sitting out all day ruining. We only ate one bite of the butter because we were afraid that it would end up making us sick. 7. When we finally received our food, twenty-seven minutes after we had ordered it, the plates looked as if the food was just slopped on there without any care at all. 8. My wife's baked potatoes and mine were both cold and my sons "steak fries" were cold also. To top things off me and my wife ordered our baked potatoes "loaded" and the cheese was not even melted, it was still cold as ice in fact. We paid 99 cents each for those "loadeds." It was only a dollar but so not worth it AT ALL! 9. My son also ordered corn as his other side, which clearly came out of a can, it was the worst corn I had ever had in my life. 10. The "hand cut" steaks were of such poor quality that I could have found better cuts of meat at Wal-Mart. Not to mention they keep them in a meat case up front all day long for them to be picked by the guests and go bad in the light all day long. 11. We had a lot of food left over and did not even bother to get boxes to take them home because it was not good when it came out the first time we did not figure it would be any better heated up in the microwave. 12. Besides the cursing manager we saw and heard from the back, we did not see any other manager the whole time during our visit. I am sorry to say that we have not been back to Texas Roadhouse since our first visit nor will we be considering it when we are deciding where to eat again anytime in the near future.
