I love eating here, never disappoints. Just this time sides were a little salty. Other than that everything was cooked perfectly.

First time at a Texas Roadhouse and loved it!! Going in, expectations weren't too high as I heard Texas Roadhouse wasn't the place to go for high quality steak, but I enjoyed my time there soo much. Definitely not a fancy place but the food is still yummy. The bread rolls were as good as everyone said they were, so buttery and soft. The cinnamon butter was amazing as well. It was also my first time trying chili and I loved it. Our waitress was super nice and let me know they were out of onions but the chili was still delicious, very hearty and let me with a warm feeling in my tummy. The mashed potatos were also really flavorful and buttery. Funnily enough, the steak, which was meant to be the main course was my least favorite part, being very mediocre. My total before tax was around 15 dollars --worth it in my opinion. Overall, I enjoyed my experience a lot, especially the service. Our waitress was so sweet and even brought us some extra rolls to take home!!

We came here for the Veterans Day special and it was nice to see the restaurant take in so many Veterans for lunch when it opened. I myself had the Veterans meal with two sides and it tasted fantastic. Our server was especially nice to us and welcoming. And everyone else was just amazing. What a great place holding such a great event for our Veterans. Thank you!

Delicious!! Nicely buttered roll with so much lobster you have to eat some of it before you can even pick this roll up. And not just claws like some places this was all solid lobster meat. $30 with fries- wish we remembered to opt for the onion straws (next time). Lobster was tender and flavorful with not an over abundant amount of mayo just the tiniest bit to hold everything together and it was tender, flavorful, and overall delicious. Arnold Palmer wasn't powdered lemonade either, it was perfectly fresh and not overly sweet. Then shop at the Amazing food co-op next door. Looking forward to our next trip here. We walked up to a casual outdoor seating area with picnic tables set alongside the road, giving it the laid back atmosphere of a New England seafood shack where the focus is entirely on generous portions and classic seafood favorites rather than anything overly polished. The setup is simple and relaxed, making it an easy stop for a casual lunch or dinner during the warmer months. The lobster roll is the clear highlight here. The portion was surprisingly large for the price, packed generously and substantial enough to feel like a full meal on its own. The lobster was the star of the sandwich, and the overall value stood out given how expensive lobster rolls have become across Massachusetts. We also ordered the fish and chips, which came with an equally generous portion size, though the fish was a little drier than expected. While it was still satisfying, it lacked some of the moisture and flakiness that would have made it more memorable. What stands out most is the portion to price ratio. Nearly everything coming out of the kitchen is oversized, which helps explain why the restaurant has built such a strong reputation as a destination for seafood in the area. The food leans toward hearty and filling rather than refined, and the experience works best when you arrive hungry and ready for a substantial meal. Service moved efficiently despite the steady crowds, and the casual outdoor setting kept the experience relaxed. For anyone looking for a classic roadside seafood stop in Western Massachusetts, Captain Jack's delivers generous portions, solid seafood, and a lobster roll that easily justifies the visit.

This time we ordered a Large Blanco pizza which was great because there was plenty to take home for lunches throughout the week. I had the Tex-Mex burger for the first time. It came with a choice of house-made black bean burger, Impossible patty or Beyond patty. I chose the Beyond and I'm really happy I did because it was so good. Normally I would suggest a Cubano sandwich but they were out chick'n and waffles is great too. But today the burger really hit the spot. I had my choice of fresh greens or roasted potatoes which was a no-brainer. These potatoes are the best. I ordered a second order for my Mom to take home. She loves them. Imagine biting into a firm roasted potato skin with a velvety buttery mashed potato inside. Yeah, it's that kind of good! Today was a bonus, I accumulated enough points for a free small pizza of my choice! Heck yeah, that heats up nicely back home for lunches at work during the week. We might have loaded up on desserts... cookies, chocolate mousse, cupcakes, rice pudding, pastries. Oh yes, it's dangerous! There is seating inside and outside in nicer weather. And though I can't guarantee that the town was so vibrantly and unapologetically queer nearly 30 years ago when our paths diverged, I can say that in 2025 it was completely my vibe. Though lesbianest - it def was. After Dinosaur Footprints, my trio needed to grab some lunch. They spoke highly of Local Bar and what a delicious choice it was. They have a nice lineup of preconfigured burgers - the teriyaki seems to be a local favorite - or you can build your own. The best is that you can have a beef, turkey, or veggie burger with any style. Unfamiliar meat sometimes sends me running to the baño and I still had a 3 hr drive up to NH. So I opted for the Farmhouse style burger with a veggie patty. It came with cheddar cheese, bacon, and our house maple mayo. I told you maple is my fave flavor. Excellent decision - the server even complimented my choice lol. The veggie patty was homemade with mushrooms and other grains - texture was elite and the umami was palpable throughout. It also didn't fall apart in my hands as other veggie patties are prone to do. I also got an order of fries but this is completely a place where you could get a burger and skip the sides and be satisfied. My dining companions were more in the know in this area so we shared the fries. Free refills too which thrilled me to no end as I strongly dislike nickel and diming on drinks. Parking can be a challenge in this town - but since it's Pride Month the rainbow gods were shining on us and we found 2 spots right next to each other just around the corner from the spot. Great food, stellar service, clean dining area, central location, something for vegans and meat eaters alike. Can't go wrong with this one!
