Went to Texas Roadhouse on the evening of 8/31/19. Husband and I went to set down at our booth, and it was food all over our seats. Looked like the bus boy just shoved the food off the table onto the seats. We swiped the food off where we sat, and I asked the waitress if someone could wipe our seats off, and a few minutes later, the bus boy wiped them off. Our waitress told us that a Manager would stop by to talk to us about the food on our seats, no one ever came to talk to us. Worst experience I ever had at Texas Roadhouse in Hanover,Pa. read more

Came here to eat after a very long day with my girlfriend and her niece and not only did the food take forever to come out but it was cold. I'm never the type to send food back as I understand that things happen and staff are doing the best they can. However, my food was just too cold for me to enjoy even a little bit. My girlfriends niece food came out cold as well. The server felt really bad about it and was willing to do whatever he could to make it right. That still doesn't negate the fact that I had the dilemma of deciding to wait longer for better food or just cancel the order all together. The decision was ultimately made to just send the food back and have the meal taken off the check. I was then left to sit and watch my girlfriend and her niece eat their meals (which they didn't finish due to the meals not being good either) in an awkward silence. Had dinner Sunday afternoon, 11/26/17, we were greeted with such friendliness from a wonderful waiter named Gabby. She was such a delight, bantering back & forth with my wittiness. I was in an arm sling due to surgery, I joked she was going to have to crack and peel my free peanuts for me, she happily began doing just that. Our service was excellent, and of course our food was prepared perfectly as always. Texas Roadhouse has mastered perfection and consistency. The only negative I can say is, we can so do without the tacky dancing and blasting loud music, when you can hardly hear people across the table talking, its too loud for a restaurant. It's painfully clear too, even the staff hate doing it, so why continue the shenanigans? read more

My wife took me here for my birthday and we had a great time. Much to my chagrin, my wife made me get on the saddle so the whole place could celebrate my birthday with us. My family loves Texas Roadhouse. We come here frequently for family dinners. However when we attended this evening we were very disappointed. We came here for my moms birthday. When they brought our meals out they did not bring my moms. The waitress said she would be right back with it. We waited for about 10 minutes then my mom told everyone to eat because our waitress was no where to be found. Everyone completed their meals and our waitress was still no where. We had to call over a waitress from another table to ask for the manager. When the manager came over she was very rude and snippy. She attempted to bring my mom a meal that was not even what she ordered. All we wanted was for my mom to enjoy a meal with her family for birthday. This Texas Roadhouse is definitely one of the best I've been to. We have come here multiple times and the food and service is always consistent and great! To keep things short and sweet: 1. Parking is never a hassle. 2. You will get seated fairly quickly, even when the place is packed. 3. The rolls are delicious, but if you don't like sweet bread/butter, then don't bother. 4. Went out for a nice family dinner and called ahead for seating. I was told that yhr wait for my seating would be an hour. Came back an hour later and was so rudely told i had to wait for a text message confirming when my table woukd be ready. Never once was i told of this on yhr phone when i made my reservation. I finally received a text message saying my table was ready, 2 hours later. What also bothered me was trying to get through the entrance was a nightmare. It was so jammed packed. I LOVE texas roadhouse. I've been to 5 different locations and let me just say that the Hanover branch is lagging way behind. I've been here about 5 times and I will say it has gotten better with each visit (I'm not sure why I keep going back, maybe I'm a sucker for punishment?) We have come to love this local steakhouse over others nearby because it covers all our food and entertainment likes: spiffy decor, TVs on sports channels, varied menu for meats, seafood, vegetarians, vegans, small to large portions, doggy bags, special requests. The entree orders include large portion sides and bread. Most entrees come in various portions.The meats are butchered on site, so we order a large steak and share for 2 or 3 people. We've had 24 oz Filet Mignon and various sized Prime Rib with no cooking problems. This way the per ounce cost is less than buying the meat at a market and cooking at home. While it is usually crowded, we always get a table quickly because of the size of the place. The staff works in teams for service, delivery, cleaning and manager follow up. So, the food moves along easily. Tip: The veggie platter is great for vegans or just eating light. Tip: Military discount is 20% off your entree and 1 other entree! we are a regular customer and wanted to go out for a great steakdinner. i ordered a 16 oz steak, my rolls were room temperature, my blooming oinion was very overcooked ,my salad was great my steak i ordered med rare was cold and raw i dumped over $60.00 for a cold raw steak. the cook is hit or miss. we visit this restaurant at least 2 times a week and it depends on who cooks out dinner. this went from our honey hole restaurant to maybe we will stop by in the future . this is not our first issue with the cook but we will step back for awhile and visit other restaurants. read more

I crave a good filet. I've been to every known steakhouse within a 50 mile radius. Texas Roadhouse hands down has the best, juiciest Pittsburgh style filet. Went to dinner late because I arrived at hotel late. Got to restaurant at 845pm I was told I can order food up until 9pm. I ordered fried pickle chips as appetizers. I ordered a draft beer. I ordered my entree, 16 ounce t bone with beans w bacon and steak fries. The beer was ice cold and refreshing. The fried pickle chips came out, it was perfectly fried and was delicious. LOVE this place. Eat here at least once per month. I almost always get the Country Fried Sirloin w/ Cream Gravy. The Prime Rib is great as well. Portions are generous and I always leave stuffed. On Father's Day this location usually offers a large steak challenge (this year was 4 lbs.) And if you eat it and two sides it's free. My toddler didn't mind, but both my husband and I were having a hard time thinking and got headaches from the noise. This restaurant is our regular spot for Sunday lunch. We always enjoy it. Lori is our special waitress. She knows us and always remembers what we get for lunch. When she sees us coming she always has our drinks out immediately and is quick to take our orders, which like I said, she remembers from our last visit. She gives us special attention despite the fact that she always has the bar to attend to as well. In addition to Lori's attention, we love their food. This week, Texas Roadhouse, showed they cared. How.... I celebrated with a dessert this week because I was celebrating the fact that testing this week just determined that I was five years cancer free. We went back last night and the experience could not have been more of 180 degree turn around. If you want to ensure a fabulous experience, ask for Brittany as a server. She was delightful, friendly, funny and just took care of us. The steaks this time were exactly to order and beautiful. Literally beautiful. While the food is consistently good, the snotty attitudes from the green-horns at the front desk, I could do without. We dropped $75 last night for dinner, had a crap reception at the front desk, even with call-ahead seating, but enjoyed quick and attentive service from waitstaff, but our apps and main courses arrived at the same time to our table. We waited 30 minutes for any food to make it to the table, and when it did, we were overwhelmed with dishes, and in a hurry to eat everything before it got cold! Who is managing the kitchen? I stopped at this location while traveling. The food was pretty good, but I was thrilled with our server. His name was Matt Van something, I don't remember, but if you get him, he's great. We went there Saturday for my birthday. We ordered a Cactus Blossom because we were hungry for one. Our sides came out (delivered by two other people not our waitress). Have been to other Texas Roadhouses and had very good food. Tonight I ordered the pulled pork and it was definitely below best quality. Very tough and not seasoned well. The waitress was very nice and brought a new plate for me but it wasn't any better. I gave them three stars because their service was very good and the manager comped my dish. Unfortunately I just can't justify paying this much for food that lacks flavor. My husband also said his burger was lacking seasoning. I think we'll stick with 3 Hogs or Mission BBQ. read more

Ok, I'm never ordering online again, as an employee of another restaurant we get really bored of our own food, so I downloaded the Texas roadhouse app, and then started ordering, then I find out they don't sell their rolls which is literally the best part of the whole dining experience, then I get there and pay, and mind you I placed my order for 8:15 and got there maybe three minutes late, so I pay and they hand me my food, I get back to my job with the food and look at the receipt they have two times on there a promise time(which was 8:15) and a otd or out the door time which was 7:45 food shouldn't be sitting for 30 minutes like that which really explains why most of my food was cold or soggy, truly disappointed with the take out of this restaurant I love so much read more

We were excited to eat at Texas Roadhouse this evening, however, everyone in the restaurant was eating with winter coats on and the air conditioning was blowing full blast. We decided since it was so cold inside to just get the gift cards we originally went to the restaurant for and leave. I had several Visa cards for 100 dollars each. Well the girl ringing them up made a mistake with the amount she tendered and the "Manager" or whoever he was, was about as good as a wart on a pickle! He said I couldn't use my Visa cards because they were gift cards!! NOT!!! When I explained that I have used these cards at The Westminster Maryland store. His stupid excuse was "they probably have a different system" This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Not only was the place extremely cold inside, it was pretty dirty.
