Well, here's to another very positive review of the Texas roadhouse for which we had to pleasure dining at a few weeks ago. Service was outstanding our orders were on the money and we absolutely have no complaints whatsoever The steaks were done to perfection the way we wanted them. Food came out hot and well prepared and we did get an extra bag of peanuts to go so glad they brought them back.. And the ambience is Texas roadhouse they have some screens with some sports on it. Once again, we stopped for a late lunch/early dinner at Texas Roadhouse and it was absolutely delicious! Sirloin steaks are always done to perfection! Love the loaded brocolli! Gives you all of the "loaded" flavors without all of the carbs from a potato (if you're watching your carbs/calories. Sour cream on the side is delicious with this. Love the rattlesnake bites! Texas Roadhouse is one of our favorite chain restaurants. My husband and I decided to get carryout. We both ordered the same thing except I got the 6 oz sirloin and he ordered the 8 oz. We're sitting down to eat and my husband and greatly enjoying his steak. I tried several times to cut and bite into mine. It was the most disgusting tough piece of steak I've ever had! He thought I was exaggerating and he had the same problem. I called immediately and they assured me that I'd receive a refund. This was on June 17th. We waited a few days and called back after not seeing any refund on our statement. The manager said that she would handle it. Today is July 7th and they never bothered to call back or issue a refund. Nothing! I even expressed that it wasn't something that the cook or staff could have predicted. Now we're dealing with lack of customer service and accountability. Natalie was amazing when we stopped here for lunch. It's your average TR and it's what you've come to expect. We normally try to find local joints but we were on a time crunch. The beer menu is small. The cocktail menu is large. We both ordered steak with shrimp as or mains. Both were slightly over coked. Appetizers were potato skins and the cactus onion. Asked for veggies (broccoli and carrots) to be extra steamed but they came out hard. She took them back and brought them back out, still hard. The waitress was nice and brought me greenbeans no charge. Had the ribs. Tasted like yesterday's ribs warmed up. Bathrooms filthy. Huge cobwebs hanging everywhere. Sticky floor. Trashcan flowing over. Even the ledges in the restaurant were really dusty. Floors sticky also. Four standing at front desk talking and the front windows were filthy. read more

I've been to Texas Roadhouse more then 10 times and I have good things to say about about it. First of all staff/service is very polite and was always very patient with customers/my family! Food is very tasteful and drinks were always cold! But some parts of the establishment have very interesting interiors and can have a weird smell in my opinion. Overall I think it's a 3.5-4 stars! Pleasant surprise- a very good meal! Tried TR on a Sunday night @6 pm, very busy. We were seated quickly, enjoyed rolls with honey butter, prompt server. My 6 oz sirloin was cooked medium as requested, nice sear marks, great beefy flavor. Huge baked potato with double butter. Veggie of day, broccoli and carrots, were just ok- flavorless baby carrots and overcooked broccoli. Wife's NY strip also cooked correctly with nicely seared fat on outside- lotta flavor. Each of us enjoyed cocktail, bill was just @$50. During a busy night at prime time, TR made us delicious steaks with great service. Nice job! read more

Our Favorite Spot in Hanover, PA! Every visit to Texas Roadhouse is fantastic! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and clearly well trained. We had an excellent time for Father's Day! Brian Corona was our server and he was beyond terrific! I believe he was new to the restaurant, but you would never know. His service was outstanding. I have to say the food here is completely hit and miss. Sometimes you're brought out a delicious dish and sometimes it falls quite short. As for the service, the waitress asked my wife how many shrimp she wanted 6,9, or 12 with her steak, she said whatever comes with the meal. When she got her meal, she only had five shrimp. We asked the waitress why there were only five instead of six she said because that's what comes with the meal. I replied that wasn't even an option when you asked her how many she wanted. Be careful, even the manager admitted to them, deliberately trying to upsell the meals without telling you they upsell it. There's a lot better choices out in Hanover. Keep looking. read more

They have the pick your own steaks in the beginning before you go back to your seats which is nice but you will pay for the selection,you also get your rolls The rolls have always been great. Drinks have a well poured and excellent taste. Please make sure you always have a designated driver to not only protect you but to protect others also. and keep others from high but in range with most restaurants chains. Desserts could have more options but may not since meals are so filling. I can't imagine not needing a box to bring home leftovers. Service is always excellent with servers prompt and aware of the menu. They are very worthy of the tips left for them. One of disturbing recent developments is the fact that more restaurants adding tip amounts before you pay the bill. I feel that this decision should never be made by the restaurant, the consumer should have full control over tips and only if help is needed should others be involved. Ambience is inline with most other restaurants/bars and even have their own song and dance done by the servers. The theme is within the western region without being there. It's been one of my favorites. I am within a multi location area so that is also a deciding factor in where we choose. read more

One of the best Steak chain restaurants in the USA! I've been to numerous locations and never had a bad experience at all. Each time we have been to the Hanover location, we've had wonderful food and service. The only downside of course is the wait time, unless you show up when they open up and get right in. So unless you don't feel like cooking your own steak at home, avoid all the other steak places in Hanover and go to TR! read more

All four steaks had to be sent back and mine went back for a second time. My steak was rare the first time and second time came back medium well. The server was attentive overall but it shouldn't be a over an hour and a half event at a ala carte restaurant. Very poor experience. The manager Gina and general manager only removed my steak off the bill. read more

Giving one star because I can't give zero. They screwed up 3 out of 4 steaks and screwed up the recook. And I don't mean rare to med rare either. More like medium to blue rare on one and medium rare to beyond well done on the other (twice). They also forgot to add all the stuff for a loaded baked potato and didn't want to remove the charge. Took my daughter, son in law and 2 grandsons (8&13).along with my wife for dinner.Waitress started with a lecture on not putting peanut shells on floor or chairs and then repeated it in a condescending tone again and how hard it is to clean up, just as we got seated. I said to her so we start dinner with a lecture, no response. Should have left then. Took almost an hour to get food and they weren't supper buisy. Needless to say she didn't get a tip on the $130 dinner and her on line review to Texas Road House will reflect her piss poor attitude. read more

I've been to many Texas Roadhouses and this was not worst but it was far from the best. Staff was all very friendly but they also all gave you the impression that they were new and didn't quite know where exactly what they were doing. The appetizers were great, the drinks were great, the rolls amazing, but the steak was not up to the roadhouse quality. It was overcooked to begin with and then on top of it it was dry too. Tasted like it was sitting in the window for too long. Lastly we waited 20 minutes for one piece of cake strawberry cheesecake. We had to ask someone about it and then it immediately appeared which leads me to believe that it was sitting in the window just as my steak was. I can look past the bleh service but the steak is what got me. Texas Roadhouse is known for their steaks and this location's steak was just bleh. read more

Texas Roadhouse in Hanover, PA has been my favorite place to eat for many years. We order to go food from there regularly. On October 8, 2024 I had the worst experience ever. I placed my normal to go order. They called me twice to ask me questions about my ordering stating they did not know what sides I ordered. I got there to pickup my order and went up to the pickup area right away because I had a bad feeling that there was a problem with my order. There was already two people waiting to get parts of their order or their order. I told them who I was and they said what kind of salad dressing dd you order and when I told them they said we don't that that kind today. When they gave me my order they only gave me 1 entree. I told them they were missing an entree and they insisted that I only ordered one entree and I told them no I ordered chick and steak. They finally got my steak and did not have my side orders. I had to wait about at least 20 minutes but they mentioned they were remodeling and everything was a mess and a lot of mix ups. I was very disappointed because they usually always get my order right. I won't be going back anytime soon. It was very inconvenient and they did not have my right salad dressing which really ruined my meal. read more

My wife took me here for my birthday and we had a great time. Much to my chagrin, my wife made me get on the saddle so the whole place could celebrate my birthday with us. So depending on where you live you got your Texas Roadhouse (TR), Outback, Hoss's, Longhorn, Logan's Roadhouse and several others. I've tried them all in multiple locations in several states and TR consistently gets 4 stars from me. It's because of that one word; consistency! I consistently get good service and value. I consistently get a steak that's cooked correctly. I consistently get sides that are hot and fresh. And of course I get those ridiculously addictive rolls. You can have a great steak meal and two drinks and your tab will be in the twenties. Not bad! This location is no exception. I had a great meal here twice. Of the big family steakhouse chains, in my opinion, the only one that's giving TR a run-for-their-money right now is Logan's Roadhouse. read more

Had dinner there on Thursday (Feb. 23,'23) and everything was fantastic! Sirloin was perfectly cooked and delicious. Everything was good. The rolls and that butter...oh, wow!
