The earliest it would allow was 11:45 AM. At around 3 o'clock that afternoon, I called and explained That I needed to pick up the order by 1115 the next day and could I give the order verbally on the phone. The person that answered the phone said yes. I gave him our order which was five sandwiches and salads and told him I would see him tomorrow. His reaction was tomorrow? Yes, I need to pick it up at 11:15 AM tomorrow. I asked if that would be a problem and was told no. I decided to call in the morning to confirm that they had my order and that it would be ready at 11:15. They answered the phone at 11 o'clock and after a few minutes, the hostess said that yes they had the order. I told her I would see her soon. When I got there at 11:15, the order wasn't ready and she did not have anything in her computer so I had to verbally give her the order again so she could ring it up for me. The order was not ready until approximately 11:40 AM. This was 40 minutes after I called to verify that they had the order and then it would be ready and about 20 minutes after I needed it to be ready as my lunch appointment began at 11:30 and I had a 15 minute drive. When the hostess finally gave me our food, I asked if there were utensils inside to which she replied, yes. I got to the office and there were no utensils and my salad had no dressing. Eating lettuce, cucumbers and cabbage without dressing is not very appealing. I enjoyed the chili. It was flavorful and had a good temperature. I will need to eat my salad when I get home and could get some dressing. It looks like a fun restaurant for seafood and craft beers and the bar look like it would be a great place to sit on a Friday night, but I was disappointed in the service I received for the lunch order.

When we walked in we discovered they're were two dinning rooms, the one in the front was a 1970ish country diner like ambience while I back was a much larger rrom with a more folksy contemporary ambience. The service was prompt and friendly. Thecoz was very good. I got the liver which was smothered in a rich flavorful beef gravy with lots of chopped onion and bacon. The mashed potatoes were made fresh , not instant, and delicious. My wife got the roasted chicken which she said was really juicy and delicious. We both got broccoli salad with was finely chopper broccoli florets with a nice tangy mayo based dressing...really tasty. The prices are very reasonable. Lots of parking. My daughter and I were sat in the back room, while walking to our seats we walked by the bathrooms which had a horrible urine smell coming out and into the seating area. The drink/bus boy couldn't be payed a million dollars to put a smile on his face, he looked so miserable. My daughter got chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon. I got the Maryland crab soup with the Alaskan pollack wild wing fish & chips. The pancakes and bacon were a hit with my daughter. My soup was very delicious and so was the fish and chips. We were basically done our tiny drinks before our meals came. We were never offered refills once. We ate our meals with no drinks and we never saw our waitress again after our food was brought out. Not until about 15 minutes after we were done eating. She then asked if we wanted refills while getting our check. My daughter said to her a little late don't ya think. The food is great but the service was terrible this time and not sure we will be in a hurry to return.

If you love large portions and hot yummy food I highly recommend it if you have time. The only issue I have here is this place NEEDS a proper staff. I really do like the folks they run the joint. But the service is inconsistent at best from visit to visit and even on a slow day with an empty dining space it can take a while to get served. Knowing that we went in today not expecting much more than large tasty portions. We took the whole family as a good bye brunch as my oldest his partner who we're visiting with my grandson. Im not sure what happened today but the single little old lady who runs the front was all over the place. She was polite and professional but you could tell she was overwhelmed. It took quite a while to get menus and waters then quite a while longer than that to get to order. She took the order and then we waited. And waited and waited. As we waited the littles started to devolve. And then, we waited some more. From the moment we sat down to the time food arrived was about an hour and a half. By then the kids were done. My wife was done and I was done. The food was hot. Some under cooked and my meal was missing the main component. That mouth watering and coma inducing pastrami. All said and done it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. No one was happy when we left. And that's a huge bummer. The food here is too good for the experience to be so bad. There were apologies and eventually the owner came out and compensated the entire meal. But that's not a good business model. Will I go back? Absolutely. They could cuss me out and I'd go buy the pastrami even if it fell on the floor. It's that good. But I probably won't ever go back with the kids. They don't have the stamina for it and we really have enough time to truly enjoy it as we would like to.

We stopped here around 1:45PM and the restaurant was not all that busy, we requested seating in a booth and while they had plenty of booths open, the young lady stated they did not have staff covering them, we waited a few minutes until they cleaned a booth that had wait staff assigned. Our server did not come over for a few minutes and finally arrived and took our drink and appetizer order, drinks and the freshly baked bread loaf arrived a few minutes after that and she then took our food order. It took a little time for our Wild West Shrimp arrived and side salad, both were spot on, no complaints. Our food arrived shortly after that and it was not the best steaks at all, they were cooked correctly but tasted way too Smokey and very Charred, the flavor was horrible !! I had the 20oz. Outlaw Ribeye which I took a few bites and that was it for me, the taste was horrible, like I stated it was over charred and tasted like a greasy dirty grill. The Mashed Potato's were great and the Seasoned Rice was fine. The steak usually has a nice seasoning, but not this one. My wife had the 12oz. New York Strip, she cut into it and took one bite and that was it as well, not good at all. The Asparagus seemed not all that fresh and very poor in preparation. The server never came back until later to check on us, not even to see if we needed refills on our drinks, not sure why the failure in service today ? We never even seen a Manager, which is not normal. The server did remove the charge for the wife's dinner but my charge remained, considering 2 cuts removed and about the entire steak was sitting on the plate. Unfortunately this dining experience really turned us off here and the management needs to ensure food coming out of the kitchen is properly prepared and the grills are cleaned so this does not happen in the future.
