Great food, great Service Great friendly staff great location short wait time at most restaurants

My wife and I were going to a concert in Valdese that started at 7:30PM - Special C on March 8. We used the online waitlist and we were seated minutes after we arrived around 5:45 PM. It took around 10 minutes before a server approached our table - maybe more. We ordered our complete meal when our server got our drink order. We told the server that we had to get in and out quickly because we had a music event to attend in Valdese at 7:30 PM, The server was great. It was not her fault - she was new and not trained properly. She kept telling us that our meal was coming up soon. At 7:15 we asked for our bill because we had to leave. She offered to make our order to go. We told her that we had no way to keep the food cold because we were going to a concert and would not be home for 5 hours. We offered to pay for our drinks, salads and the rolls. She said the manager would come out and talk with us. Never happened. We finally left at 7:25. We were not charged for our water tea, salads or rolls. We missed the first 18 minutes of the concert. We are headed back to Valdese Old Rock School to heat another concert on Saturday the 22nd of March to hear third Time Out. Like the food but this store seems to be having problems. read more

Been going here 10 years and today was the last day. They messed up my husbands porterhouse THREE times. It was well done the first two times when he asked for medium rare. The third time, it was stone cold and nasty. After that, they decided to just take the steak off the bill and send us on out the door with my husband still hungry. The waitress just said "sorry, our best cook isn't here yet." The manager didn't even try to come back and make it right. Also, the changing tables are sketchy and look like they are ready to dump a baby in the floor. Won't be back. read more

The food was immaculate as always. The service was incredible. Emily was an amazing server. The ambiance was great. The only thing that they could do better would be have more handicapped accessible parking and wheelchair accessible tables. Those are always problems when I go to eat here. Should they fix those two issues, this will be an amazing place to eat read more

The service was awesome we checked in online, then we drove to meet family there. Like clockwork we had our table. The guy waiting on us was helpful and took good care of us. The place was packed and yet still quite I could hear everyone at our table and we really seem to have a great table. We had there blooming onion not sure what they called it, It was awesome. my salad was fresh and very good, the baked potato wasn't done. We walked in to put our names in to be sat. Hostess suggested sitting outside since the waiting area was quite full. We left our number and sat outside. We proceeded to see many people leave and never got a text. So, we went back inside to check on our table and were told we had been paged multiple times. When we confirmed that the phone number was correct we were confused. Hostess explained the text had not gone through (she said she could see by the red dot on her screen) which confused me even more. So, we stood in line again and had more people sat before us. Another hostess would walk around the waiting area and call names. Although we were eventually sat, I am extremely confused to why we would be advised or suggested to sit outside if they can't bother to walk the fifteen feet out the door to call for names in the outside seating area?? Especially when they knew the text had not gone through. We were not in the car. We were literally sitting fifteen feet from the inside. Disappointed in this experience. We waited over an hour on waitlist. Standing by wait stand. After 6 people after us were seated, the lady said she didn't know we were there. They never sent any text . The food was pretty awful. We were brought 3 of 5 meals and the last two why they arrived were cold. The two tables next to us got partial food . Pretty disgusting meals. Sadly we won't return anytime soon. Almost 3 hours between wait and slow service. Unacceptable. read more

Was told 45 min wait went back in after hour wait was told it would be another hour wait I know this place is busy but damn don't say hour then crush a kids birthday by saying it's another hour and before you say anything it was only 4 of us not a huge party After we got to another restaurant 5 mins down the road they texted our table was ready read more

We were there in March & the service & food was terrible...Plus we waited a long time on our food they were too busy with all their parties & The regular customers had to wait for a long time to get food..Then when we left my daughter trip on a cone that they had shoved in a high chair & It was sticking out and she had her 7 month son in her arms & He hit his head on the floor & NOT one employee ask if they were ok or helped her...A customer helped her up & i grabbed my grandson & We rush him to the ER...They never filed a report & My daughter called the next day & The so called manager said he heard about it & Ask if we ask for or stayed and talked to a manager & NO we didn't because we were worried about my grandson hitting his head on the floor..Plus my daughter torn up her knees & They were bleeding..NOT one person from Texas Roadhouse has contacted her..She has been the one to keep calling them...It's not like she was going to sue them she just wanted them to pay the ER bill..They said their liability insurance doesn't cover it...They said since i went first and i didn't trip it wasn't their fault so i wouldn't step foot in that place again...They don't care about customers & NOT one person til this day from there has ask if they are ok or that they were sorry that it happened read more

The absolute worst experience ever from a restaurant. Arrived at 7pm placed order at 7:16pm. Asked for manager because as of 8pm had not received food. Order arrived and was cold. Manager stated would be remade and she would bring it out herself. As of 8:35pm still no food. The waitress was really sweet and upset that we have had to wait this extended amount of time and they are not busy. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Service was terrible. Received appetizers, salad, and food all at the same time. Steak was rare, ok it had its butt wiped and just thrown on the plate. It was still MOOving. The filet had no taste, the wrong salad Dressings were brought out, egg was on salad even though requested not to be. This place is a disaster. Texas roadhouse is normally pretty safe to eat and mostly consistent. This location is in need of an overhaul. The place itself is dirty, the bathrooms smell like pee 20 feet before you get to the door, and the waitresses look like they could use a bar of soap, shampoo, and deodorant. Never have I seen such unkept ladies in a restaurant. Management needs a restart. Corporate needs to come in and clean house. LITERALLY. Food was great. Server not so much. My husband ordered 11 Oz. Steak. He clearly did not get 11oz. 2 other people in our party of 13had ordered 11 Oz. steaks. When we pointed this out she said that was what she had put in . And that was what cook prepared. She went no further to correct this. Good help is hard to find. read more

Full parking lots and no reservations accepted should be your first clue that you will wait way longer than you should have to. Wait list.....it works for the restaurant but not for customers If you have a party of 2 you can slip in to the bar area pretty easy. If you have a larger party ...there is rule after rule to make it difficult for you ...but easy for restaurant I'm alway there with just 2 ...and slip in....but I feel sorry for the tables of 4 or more read more

First time trying Texas Roadhouse after hearing rave reviews about the rolls, and I agree with the hype, they are good. Our food tasted wonderful, got a 8oz sirloin cooked medium rare on the dot. VERY DISSATISFYING THIS LAST TRIP . Ordered prime rib and bbq chicken. Ordered the rib med-rare but it was more rare than med-rare. Tried to eat it but it was tough and chewy on top of the under cook. Wife's chicken was really tough and chewy for a piece of chicken. read more

Their steaks are amazing in service is good. The atmosphere is happy and energetic. I tried to at least go two times a month.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Checked in at 2:21 pm on 2/16/2025. Waited in line for 21 mins and watched as multiple party's that were behind us were sitted. The hostess was on a power trip beyond belief. Has an attitude to top it off. When questioned about our wait she kept saying waiting on a table while multiple tables sat uncleaned and not ready for a party to sit at. Never had this issue coming here before. read more

Food has gone down hill. Service- okay They need to better estimate their wait time. When you tell someone it's 30 minutes, it shouldn't be 45+. Be prepared to wait outside in the cold (or heat depending on your season) because they did away with their waiting area! No longer do they have peanuts A few weeks ago my meal was great, but this time my steak and potato were both COLD. I even told the waiter when he asked how our food tasted.
