The steak in my salad was basically raw, my husband's meal was cold. We had to flag down a server as our server was nowhere to be found. "What would you like us to do?" Really. My wife and I ordered a simple curbside order of 3 side salads and an entree with rolls, we received a text 10 minutes prior to our scheduled pickup that the order was ready. After we pulled up and were greeted we waited 20 minutes after which we were greeted again with no food. We asked for a refund and nobody ever showed up to speak with us or tell us our order was refunded after this we left and called to speak to a manager. We were informed that someone else picked up our order. I'm glad we spoke up about the refund, no telling how long we would've been forced to wait there. This was probably the best Texas Road House I've eaten at. The steak (22oz Ribeye) was cooked perfect and the bake potato was hot and fresh. We also had the rattle snack bites which was good just wish there was a little more jalapeño in it. We sat in the bar area and the service was great. We're traveling on business and I usually like to eat at places that I don't have at home but we were in the mood for steak. It was so good we'll probably be back before we leave. read more

Was actually a great visit. We signed on to the wait list and drove in about 30 visitors in. It was super packed. We got seated and our waitress, Kaitlin made sure to let us know she would be right with us. This experience was absolutely tremendous from beginning to end. Starting with our server, she was helpful and polite, but without being a robot and still having a great personality and making my wife and I laugh. She kept the experience feeling loose and enjoyable. Our food was great on nearly every front, with the only exception being the first round of rolls which were overcooked but no big deal whatsoever. Our appetizer, the rattlesnake bites, had great flavor and texture and arrived quickly. Both our sirloin and ribeye steaks were well cooked and flavorful, with our sides being just as good. On top of everything, when we arrived the parking lot was completely packed but for just two people it only took a few minutes to get a seat. I highly recommend Hickory's Texas Roadhouse. read more

Perfect Quick weeknight meal! We just wanted something fast and tasty. Check the waitlist online and join before you arrive if needed. Thankfully it was a Tuesday and we got to walk right in. The rolls of course everyone knows are delicious. The hostess gave us both our own cinnamon butter which really made me happy right of the bat. Our waitress was great she made sure we had everything we needed. We both got the chicken critters. There is so much chicken on this plate and it comes with 2 sides. We had plenty of leftovers for a 2nd meal which is always a plus. We probably could have shared if we knew we weren't going to need leftovers for lunch the next day. The chicken was hot and juicy their homemade ranch really hit the spot. Best chicken fingers I've had in a while. I got the salad and everything was fresh my favorite parts was the croutons. Told her it was not great that the salad was out with the steak and steak overcooked after she left when I cut it. The steaks were cold and you could tell had been sitting for a while the loaded fries the cheese had already hardened from sitting. The only thing hot, was the baked potato! Absolutely amazing food. Sometimes, but there are some other things that make me not want to recommend it to people: (For context, we go to this Texas Roadhouse every Sunday after church, and these things have been happening week after week. But this is just the list of things that happened today.) The plates, napkins, and silverware were absolutely disgusting, and had leftover food all over it the second we sat down. The seats and table we also gross, like they didn't even try to wash it. Steak had no seasoning whatsoever, had to use the steak sauce which you should never have to do to a steak. Undercooked some of our steaks, and overcooked the other ones. The blooming onion was not fully cooked. The waitress we had, had a horrible attitude, and didn't do anything about the dirty plates when we said something. Didn't get my salad, and had attitude about it when I asked for her to bring it out. Also a couple months ago on my dad's birthday we came to this Texas Roadhouse and we order at around 7:00 and didn't even receive our salads until 7:45. Then our steaks came out at like 8:20, they were undercooked and overall it was really annoying, also our waiter wasn't ever there, but the manager was so sweet and felt horrible. If you ever go, ask for Hunter. She is an absolute amazing waitress. read more

This afternoon, my husband & I went for a meal before he had to go to work. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We both ordered expensive steaks. When the steaks arrived, they were way overcooked. When we complained to the waitress, she blamed the cooks but took the steaks back to the kitchen. I had already explained to her we were in a hurry, so we requested our new steaks be put in to-go boxes. After waiting forever, the waitress explained that the manager wanted to bring our steaks to the table. However, the manager never made time, and the waitress finally brought our steaks out so we could leave. After paying $80. Dollars for a meal we didn't even get to eat, we will not be going back. We also didn't get tea refills for most of our wait, and when she finally refilled our drinks, it was the wrong thing. I hope that this review is seen and the restaurant gets their act together. Something has changed at the Hickory location. They've come down a notch on the quality of their cuts. The last few times I've been there, there's been too much gristle and waste in my ribeye. The service remains top shelf and the environment is loud but pleasant. My wife & I didn't visit for several months because of the quality. We went back recently and we're let down again. We'll take a break from TRH, maybe go to Longhorn instead. We've had plenty of great experiences with TRH around the country so we'll be back. But not anytime soon. read more
