Texas Roadhouse is a great option for a chain restaurant. Good consistent food at very reasonable prices. Really generous portions. I'll get 2 meals out of my chicken dinner. Aaron was our waiter and was excellent. Friendly, attentive and always checked up on us and kept the drinks coming. Overall, good dinner with great service.

    Cactus Blossom-

haven't been here in awhile, love the peanuts and rolls to start. I got the blooming onion to start which was delicious, and then a caesar salad, and my new york strip. Tasted great, service was good as well

Boneless Ribeye, baked potato & corn. So good!

This place consistently knocks it out of the park with service, food, and atmosphere. Ryan behind the bar is a standout. He treats us like regulars from day one--always greeting us with a smile and delivering truly top-tier service. He's a big part of what makes the whole experience feel so warm and welcoming. And the food? Never the same experience twice in the best way possible. The menu and specials are always evolving, always leveling up, and it keeps things exciting every time we come back. Not once have we been disappointed. Everyone can have an off night--but this place seems to have cracked the code on consistency and excellence. Honestly, you could throw a dart at the menu and still walk away impressed. Already looking forward to the next visit!

Food and atmosphere was good (though indoors I won't say it was anything extraordinary). If you're…read morea foodie, there is better, but for NJ cuisine, it's standard for "high end" What was disappointing to me was: the fact that I was there enjoying a nice steak dinner with colleagues, and I was saving half of my steak for my husband to take home. It had a side of roasted elephant garlic, which my husband absolutely loves, so I couldn't NOT save it for him.But the thing is, they took it away without asking me if I wanted to pack it or not. And I brought this up, not once, not twice but -- 3 times-- with the wait staff. When I asked one of the waiters what the manager said, He replied " I'm not going to lie, I don't remember" Before I left, I asked my server if I could speak to the manager-- The manager finally met with me. He said that he was "trying to find you to give you my card" because "he did hear about the incident and he feels really bad." Mind you, even after I spoke to the first person about this incident, we were there for close to another 30 minutes (at least). Sitting at our table, having dessert and drinks . No one came back to address the situation, no one offered to make another plate of food for my husband to make up for the food they accidentally threw away. He offered his card, but I declined because I will not be going back. Honestly, poor service and optics for a high-end restaurant, at best. If you're used to high-end haute cuisine and have an eclectic palette, I'd skip this restaurant. If you want "the usual" nice-enough restaurant with good with a decent-enough ambience-- this is a good-enough place. For me, a place like that-- with "standard fare" cuisine, should have above average service. That's where they fell short.

There was never a shortage of grilled meats, with staff constantly rotating through and taking a glance at your table to see if you're ready for the next skewer of goodness that they had. Our favorites: skirt steak (it was so tender and flavorful), picanha, chicken wrapped in bacon (was so smokey & juicy) and finally, the grilled pineapple. You definitely need to stay until you had a taste of that! My one complaint would be that the salad bar/hot buffet dishes weren't changed out nearly enough, but with all the staff working on the meat orders you can't be that upset with that. They did have some great options on the buffet line, my favorite being the chimichurri that paired wonderfully with the steaks. Nice cocktail, wine, and beer selection. Calamari appetizer (sadly forgot to take a photo) was perfect for sharing amongst 2-4 people. Tender bites (rings and tentacles - I prefer) with a perfectly light, crispy coating. Tasty. Both the scallops & risotto were honestly some of the best I've ever had (and I order this often at seafood joints). Sweet meat, large size, crisped atop. The risotto was creamy and very flavorful (subtle white wine) with mushrooms and spinach throughout. The salmon piece that I tasted was very soft and fresh. My party seemed satisfied. Although I've had better crème brûlée, no real complaints. Nice crispy torched top. Texture was a little thicker than I like and the chill needed to come down to room temp more. It was pretty vacant prime time on a Saturday night, so I really hope things turn around. This area of NJ is severely lacking fine dining, so this spot is much needed. There are dining specials and DJs set up on select nights. Place does bring in an older crowd (makes sense for the area). Ample parking available. Come have a time or two!

I guess this is why there is no salt and peppers shakers on the table lol. My Partner got the skirt steak and fries. Again he enjoyed both but prefers his own marinade. Bottom line this place is more than your average place cost wise. Knowing how to cook and get a piece of filet mignon for $14.00 at ShopRite and a skirt steak for $25 at best and do it yourself doesn't justify the cost. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and refreshingly honest when my husband asked for meat recommendations. The service overall was prompt and attentive all night. One thing to note is that they ask you to place your full food order upfront, but the pacing was excellent and everything came out perfectly spaced without feeling rushed. The restaurant itself is modern, spacious, and much larger than I expected inside. We had a 6 PM reservation, which I actually preferred because by the time we left around 8 PM, the place was absolutely packed. Parking is probably the only downside. They do offer valet, but otherwise you'll need to use a nearby public lot, which can get crowded and is paid parking. As for the food, everything was also fantastic. My husband loved the oysters so much he originally ordered four... then immediately ordered six more. The whipped ricotta was honestly to die for and came in a huge portion, especially considering they already provide table-side bread. I ordered the goat cheese and honey pizza, which was delicious, and my husband said his filet was cooked perfectly. The garlic mashed potatoes were another standout and absolutely worth ordering. One thing to keep in mind is that the meats do not come with sides, and at $14 each, the sides can make the bill climb pretty quickly compared to the rest of the menu pricing. That said, the garlic mashed potatoes were so good we'd order them again without hesitation. Overall, really impressive food, great service, and a fun atmosphere that's definitely worth checking out.
