Stopped in here for dinner with colleagues while we were at a conference. Food and service were good as what we expect at a Texas Roadhouse.

First off, Kara is your best server and you should do everything you can to keep her. Your other servers need some training. One of those servers brought me my steak that looked like it was plated across the room. Splatter marks all over the plate. Also, the folks that bring you salads etc., not the server necessarily, need to learn to place things on the table. You're not supposed to slide my salad plate over while I'm eating it. Hygiene should be discussed with your staff. Dirty fingernails and hair dreads flopping around are not clean or hygienic. I will return but you have some things to fix. read more

We were a party if four. Among appetizers and se eral sides and entrees we also order an 8 ounce Dallas filet. When we ordered we requested that they're ot butterfly the steak. It was delivered flat, and dry and overly cooked. It was taken back and another brought out. It was butterflied and flat and a little less cooked. We kept it. 27.99 for a flat medium well dry steak. Not good at all. Very disappointing, especially after 2 requests to not butterfly. If we had known it couldn't be cooked without flattening the steak another choice of entree would have been made. No adjustment on the bill was made. We still tipped 25 percent. read more

Hello yes I am complaining I have never had a problem at this location, my daughter dined in but purchased me a take out 4 pc fried catfish filet fried crispy not hard, shit hard as a brick..and these little as filets, yaw have to do better..in the past the filets were bigger portion sized and fried perfectly...so that $25 was a waste next time I will stick with my usual cowboy ribeye read more

Sharon was our server today and she was excellent!! Very friendly and everything came out correct and amazing. I did forget to mention I wanted the sirloin and shrimp combo and did only get the steak at first, but when I asked for shrimp on the side she was very accommodating and had that out quickly as well! Our visit was really just to order a to-go box of rolls and ended up turning into a dine in. We barely had to wait to be seated even though it was pretty packed and it was a hour til closing. Darryl was our server and he was the light of our night. Very accommodating, funny, checked on us frequently and made sure we had refills on our drinks and fresh rolls. Our food was good. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The cook forgot to smother my steak but because I was hungry, I passed on Darryl's offer to take it back. The ambiance was a typical Texas Roadhouse experience, fairly loud, everyone enjoying their time and we all got to sing happy birthday to a few tables. Chef Joseph here. Had dinner here and ordered a 16 oz ribeye from thier meat selection window. Asked for it mid rear and it was between mid rear and medium. Juice, hot, well seasoned. Also got bitter corn and a sweet potatoe with butter and brown sugar. The picture show the meal. The small plate shows amount of fat from my cut of meat. I am never one to complain or leave bad reviews. But it all started half way through the drive home, my boyfriend realized he didn't have his drink, which was completely on us because the lady at the register told us to check it make sure it was the right order. Alright well 20 minutes later we're home and I take out my food. And they forgot my fries and gave me more chilli instead? Then I cut into my steak and this shit is still mooing at me. I ordered a medium well, and strike me down if I'm wrong but that is not medium well. I know the lady told us to check but I didn't expect to have to open my meal completely and cut into my steak. I understand wait times but being on a waitlist then watching party's of 6 walking in off the gate no wait is an issue. This is ridiculous. And when we asked all we got was we will text you. When I say we would've had better chance walking in! Server, Kevin was outstanding (even though they split our party, no biggie they don't accommodate larger than 6) kept up with all over needs, took care of all of the small details of the order! 5 star service! Food was really good didn't get photos just of the salad. But overall the waiting system here isn't fair! Do better Roadies with that aspect of the restaurant! We called ahead to be place on a waitlist for 8. They didn't mention on the phone not having accommodations for a party that size. The only thing they could offer was two tables across from each other... which would mean 6 of us at one and 2 at another while we were meant to be celebrating a graduation. We opted to cram into the table for 6 and were fine making that work.... And would've been fine with the whole experience had they not messed up one order, undercooked the steak on another, and forgot to place one persons order entirely. The forgotten order was finally brought out after everyone else was done eating and it was also undercooked, at that time the server apologized and said he would comp it. Once we got the bill he stated the manager would only agree to take 10% off. We then spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager who could only offer to send something via email. I was in the middle of a long road trip with my dad eating a lot of ribs. This place had decent ribs... Now they werent smoked but they were falling off the bone tender. The service was great and I like that thing on the table that lets you pay and go. Crowd can be a bit rowdy, (young adults yelling because of birthday or something) but overall was very nice. I thought the pork chop was slightly overcooked but maybe it was just more pronounced because I liked the ribs much more. read more

Every weekend I have decided to treat my family on a restaurant outing so we can get out together and have family time since our schedules are too busy throughout the week so today I chose to go to Texas Roadhouse. As soon as I made that decision I went ahead and joined their waitlist. Once we got to the restaurant I checked in and we only waited about 15 mins to get sat. Needless to say that the Host was doing an amazing job. Once we got sat Hannah came over and grabbed our drinks she was extremely nice and attentive while at the table...once she brought the drinks back we needed a second to look over the menu. It did take her a while to come back but I did not think anything of it considering she might have other tables. She finally ended up coming back and took our order. Our food came out within 20 mins and it was DELICIOUS! Hannah delivered the food, got our refills, asked if we needed anything and we did not see her until the end of our meal. I had to ask the bus boy to go grab her for us. She came back asked us if we needed boxes and then I proceeded with the payment on the tablet. Upon leaving I had stopped at the host stand ask for a bag for our food and let the manager know how the service was. She seemed like she cared and I let her know that I normally tip the correct amount because I do I was a server I know how it is especially on a bill that is above 100 dollars. The ambiance was nice as well... I love country music so I felt right at home. Overall, it was a great experience I would recommend this location to anyone because the food was truly great it was just the service that was wonky, but we all have bad days and it is okay and you never know what anyone is going through...me telling the manager was to let them know that maybe they should check on her and make sure she is okay not to get her in trouble she was a very lovely gal. read more

On February 10th at 4:00 my friend and I went to Texas Roadhouse on shadeland and we ordered two All-American burgers one medium well one medium rare we received our food we said we were eating my friend cut her sandwich in half place her napkin her knife back on the napkin they're a roach a cockroach ran across our table towards me and my food I tried to kill it I couldn't kill it it jumped on me and I swatted it off of my arm because I am allergic to cockroaches it landed onto the booth where we were sitting at I jumped up and screamed my friend grabbed her food and stood up the waitress came and said may I help you we said yes there was a cockroach that ran from my friends rolled silverware that she didn't even touch we didn't open it can we see the manager manager came over he was a short African American gentleman kind of heavy set he came over we told him the situation what happened he didn't seem concerned or bothered he just told us that they sprayed for cockroaches that morning and they were coming back that night and he gave us $10 off of our bill which was very nonchalant or kind of rude my friend went to the bathroom throwing up because of it she threw up her food that she just finished eating and our waitress came back she was very apologetic we just got our food the my friend had her sandwich in her hand we never sat back down in a booth we were really disappointed our food got switched and I don't think we're going to go back we're just disappointed and that was our favorite place Jessica voland 765-603-7342 Lynn Novaski 317-992-5599 read more

Great place for dinner use app to get on waiting list and walk right in to your seat is what you need to do when you want to come out for a great steak and not have to wait too long. You can use that app on your phone before you leave home though you should address a time by time you get there your table is ready or at least you only have a little time to wait in your car and you leave your car and walk right in to be seated atmosphere is very casual. The service is always right there to help you with recommendations. The steak is always delicious. Had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and the first thing I noticed was the volume of people waiting and eating. I was very surprised but also disappointed because it meant or at least I thought a long wait. However, to my surprise we were seated in a very timely manner. I went it for the kill ordering chicken fried steak and corn. In the interim the baked bread came out and is always a crowd pleaser. It didn't take long for the food to come. I wasn't a big fan of the steak but I managed to get through it. Overall, the meal and server were good. Power outage and fire alarm going off for 20 minutes was one thing (which no one addressed), but the roof leaking all over myself and my food was another. The table and dishes were covered in water from the leak. Manager offered no apology, just told us we had to pay full price but had to pay cash, write down card information, or CashApp the manager. We came to Texas Roadhouse by request of my grandmother- she loves it and comes here frequently. We had a great server, Sharon who was super attentive and friendly. I was late to the restaurant and it was nice that Sharon kept my grandma company as I was headed that way. The food was seasoned well- my grandmother ordered a 14 oz ribeye medium and it came out medium well , with little pink. I ordered salmon, and it was seasoned well. So me and the hubby decided to step out and grab some appetizers and drinks.. I'm so glad he decided to go here! The service given by our hostess with the mostess was awesome! Sharon was a true blessing to us..Not only did she restore our faith in customer service & hospitality but she also restored our faith in mankind. She shared some of her story with us (which if you wanna know what she said, you'll just have to go visit and ask for Sharon) but my grandma always taught us kids to never ask a lady her age so when she told us her age.. we were both amazed not only because of the way she looks (must be the rattlesnake bites that keeps her young ) but also her vigor and just her overwhelming warmth & her attitude on life! Train your staff. From cook line to servers. Put your managers on the floor. Prime rib ordered medium rare served well done and sent back. The cook prepared the whole roast well done. Ordered grilled shrimp. Also over cooked but i ate it as we had already spent too much time on an order for a weekday lunch. No attempt to correct was made.
