The service was outstanding, fast,friendly. Even the greeting staff was friendly and we were treated with a smile. The food not so much. We ordered an ultimate feast and a lobster lovers. The lobster was pretty tough, and overall just not to our liking. Seemed very rubbery. Everyone that ate with us had unfortunately been sick from something. Unsure if it was the crab or what. The crab legs tiny, little amount of meat, and just overall unimpressive. The Caesar salad dressing tasted more like a weird mayo rather than a Caesar. The only good part of this meal was the shrimp scampi, breaded shrimp, mashed potatoes, and the broccoli. The main lobster tails and the crab just weren't it. I would have loved to say we would be back but for a bill of 100+ and the quality of the seafood itself it wasn't up to the task. It has been literally decade since I have been to Red Lobster so I was hoping for a good experience. Unfortunately, I can now confirm that Red Lobster is sinking under! First of all the food was not good. I ordered fish and chips and was brought out two pieces of very greasy and thin portions of cod. It looked exactly like something you could buy from the grocery store but tasted worse. The accompanying baked potato was not fully cooked and was cold. I asked for a hot potato and was told it was in the "oven." I suspect they are microwaving the potatoes because the texture of the inside was still not completely cooked. The cheddar biscuits were good but not as large as I remembered from the past. As to ambiance, walking into the restaurant there was a very strong and unpleasant odor of fish and no lobsters in the tanks at all. The restaurant was dimly lit and had a dingy look. It is no wonder that at the exorbitant prices, they are charging for subpar downright unacceptable food that they are having difficulty with their businesses. When we got here, we were a little disappointed by the hostess at front. Instead of immediately greeting us, she was sipping from a cup at the hostess stand and then played in her phone for a few minutes before even acknowledging us. When we were sat, our table was still dirty, but she was very nice about cleaning it off for us. The tables around were also "bussed" but still had plenty of trash all around them- not very cleaned. Our waitress took a bit to get to us, but she was very sweet when she finally got there. We got our drinks and cheddar biscuits quickly. They were HOT and fresh. We got a side salad as a side and it was delicious with nice sized portions. We also got the house chowder, which for some reason took 10 minutes to prepare. It was delicious! We also ordered an appetizer to try- this took almost 30 minutes to get to us. We got the crab queso dip- it was decent. Some of our chips were very old- no reason I should be able to fold a tortilla chip in half like paper. Probably wouldn't order this one again. We ordered the endless shrimp and a chicken dish with a side of Mac and cheese for our entrees. The shrimp linguini Alfredo had shrimp with the tails still on tossed in the sauce. I am not sure if this was a mistake or how it comes, but why would the tail stay on shrimp in a pasta dish? The person bussing the tables was awful. I watched them drop food items multiple times and continue to walk past them repeatedly. The waitress we had was doing her best- we know none of this was her fault. She did the best she could with what she had and we appreciated it! Unfortunately we will not be back unless we had a gift card or something. We stopped by after Christmas shopping on 12/23/25 didn't realized that it was crab legs night. 1 lb for $25 so I ordered one. It came out, it looked ok... a bit skinny on the legs but once cracked one open & ate it, ugh... no flavor... tasted like the boiling water that was cooked in it. It didn't have the seasoning flavor. The bartenders were transparent about the service being slower at the bar but we were happy to wait for a drink until the table was ready. For the tl'dr people: Service was bad and the new seafood boil lacks flavor. My friend and I had been planning to come here all week because he wanted to try out their new seafood boil. I had been seeing online that the seafood boil's quality was dependent on the location, turns out this was one of the bad locations. He got the sailor boil which has sausage, shrimp, corn, and potatoes. He got both the butters, but that didn't save it. He said the flavor was bland, but the shrimp and sausage tasted pretty good (more so the sausage). He didn't think the potatoes were cooked because they were extremely stiff and bland. For the price, he definitely wouldn't recommend getting it. I got the Chicken Linguine Alfredo, which I thought tasted pretty good, and for the price I thought it was definitely worth it. What really gives this a 2 star is the service. She was hardly attentive, got the initial drinks and biscuits but became m.i.a. until the food was ready. It wasn't like she was busy, I could see where we were sitting that she was just talking to her server friend near the front during that time. Kudos to the company for their recent turnaround, but I'm afraid they've taken their eye off the food. The delicious salad is now so-so (dressing?). Walt's shrimp is no-longer butterflied, and with a different breading? Maine lobster tail is now the size of a prawn. The drawn butter is different. Potato was very dry. The tartar sauce is different and oniony. One hostess kept standing at our table and telling us how tired she was. National chains are not usually my thing, however, how can one resist unlimited shrimp for $20... not me, that's for sure. So I ventured on in here, expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. The new crispy Dragon shrimp were a bit on the spicy side, which was to be expected with a name like that. Delicious. Unfortunately they were out of the coconut shrimp... boooh The grilled skewer shrimp were a bit bland, but good. Maybe I should have eaten those before I had those spicy shrimp. The garlic shrimp scampi and Walt's fried shrimp were good as always. To my surprise this special also came with their famous biscuits (so good) and 2 sides. We came here for Valentine's Day dinner on Saturday night and only had to wait about 30-45 minutes. The food was great. The crab legs were my favorite part of my meal. Only downside was the green beans were not well seasoned. The service was okay and the waitress did bring our drink refills regularly. There was an issue with some items on the menu not being available. There was music in the lobby but no music in the seating area so it was little quiet. There was a manager often walking through the area and seemed to be urging his team kinda loudly to keep cleaning tables in order to get people waiting in the lobby to their table. My wife and I had the endless shrimp. We both had the dragon fire shrimp and let me tell ya, it was awful. Don't waste your time and money on it. My bake potato was cold, couldn't melt the butter and my wife had ordered french fries which were just as cold. She had said they tasted like they were cooked. Left out and then reheated in a microwave. We had ordered the Casamigos margaritas and neither drink had tasted like no alcohol in them. My wife had gotten the tequila lime shrimp and had said the shrimp was good but the dipping sauce tasted like piss. I've been coming to this location for about 20 years. It's the best one I've been to. The restaurant is always clean and service is decent enough. I'm not a huge seafood fan. Let's be honest, we come for the cheddar biscuits. The warm and soft yet crispy cheesy biscuits. Not to say that their seafood is subpar though. It's still better than places I've visited on the coasts. I've never had better crab legs and you can find anything out there comparable to the coconut shrimp with the delicious pina colada sauce. If you like tropical drinks I highly recommend the sunset passion colada. It's sooo good. Also, if you love the seafood feast (crab, lobster, 2 kinds of shrimp) but don't want to pay the $32 price tag they have an early dinner special of petite portions for $20 on Thursday. This was then followed by that same waitress stating "yes I did and it's true," the entire time the manager is standing at the table and doesn't diffuse the situation at any level as they're arguing. Eventually the waitress goes in the back but re-emerges as soon as they leave and continues working. Minutes later two bussers sit at the table next to ours. The busser told us she didn't give a f*** about this job and she wasn't paid enough. At the same time customers were wandering the dining room calling out for their waiter. I came in for the Cajun Chicken pasta. I've had in a long time and I really was craving it. The chicken is still very tender they don't use as much sauce as they used to in the past I could have been drained a little bit more you can see the water floating in the bowl but I'm very particular about my alfredo. For the Caprice a matrices regular tomatoes onions and balsamic. I love the floor plan of the building. Red lobster used to be one of my faves. Tonight the food tasted terrible... I looked for my favorite stuffed flounder, but it had been taken off the menu. The menu appeared to much smaller than it used to be. I did order a delicious drink but I guess one is the limit as the waitress never asked if I wanted another drink. I ended up trying shrimp tacos.. I don't know what sauces they put on them but they tasted awful and the rice on the side was crunchy. I only ate the 12 shrimp off my plate of shrimp tacos. I am a small town girl who has only had Red Lobster once before this week, maybe 8 years ago. I went this week and had a great time! I know, it's a chain restaurant and it can be pricey, but sometimes it feels good to indulge and not worry about prices or calories. I got a Long Island ice tea to drink, for only $7. Great deal! Wellll. The liquors listed are top shelf but I barely tasted alcohol. Doesn't anyone make strong drinks anymore? Bummer. Luckily, the food pleased me. The biscuits are, of course, amazing. I ate 3 before our entrees came, and honestly could have had more. (Ha). I went for a triple item platter - lobster tail, salmon, and shrimp. It came with a salad and I upgraded my side to get the baked potato covered with mashed potatoes and sea food - omg it was so good. The meat was wonderful, although too much butter was used for my preference on the lobster and shrimp. The salmon was AMAZING and had a delicious taste. The lobster tail was smaller than in the pictures, but that is to be expected I guess. It all smelled amazing and tasted amazing. Service was incredible. Very friendly, prompt, and eager to please. I have to admit I was surprised at how good it was, I tend to stay away from large chains. I had the salmon bowl (served on a plate) and the salmon was moist, cooked well and good seasoning. The crisp brussel sprouts were even better. Service was good, their famous biscuits were good but under-cooked when one of my companions requested some that were browned we got some that were almost done, not brown and crispy around the edges as we expected. read more

Received one skewer of small grilled shrimp (6) and 4 small coconut shrimp. Entree came with only 1 side. My husband got a burger and fries which he said was good but again only 1 side offered. I realize that cost of things have gone up but they used to offer a lot more food and choices. I read that they lost their shirts on all u can eat shrimp. Fixtures seem very dated and in need of repair. Seat at our booth was ripped and table was stained and in need of revarnishing. We knew we wanted to go to Red Lobster to round out our cheesy adult Prom night. After reading reviews of the ones in the city it was decided that we must go to this one. I called to ask if they take reservations and was told they do call ahead seating 30 minuets prior to arrival (per their policy). We arrived and were seated almost immediately thanks to the call ahead. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic, he was so friendly and personable and made us feel very welcome. He made a few recommendations because we knew we wanted to try a wide variety of food. We ended up ordering a seafood feast including crab legs, two shrimp types, lobster tail, and two sides. We also ordered a little over 1lbs lobster that was stuffed. Now I'm not a big fan of seafood, well I've never given it a fair shot really, so this was more of an adventure for me. Our cheddar biscuits came out first and they were absolutely amazing! Warm, soft, and magical. Our food came out pretty quickly. Crustaceans galore were presented to us and oh where to start? The fried butterfly shrimp was fabulous, the garlic butter shrimp was good. Now as I mentioned I'm a novice to realm of crabs and lobster. A lesson from the lovely girlfriend to show me how to twist and crack and dig in. The lobster tail on the platter was delightful! The crab was quite good. I was not a fan at all of the stuffing for the lobster. The lobster itself was ok. The sheer and utter delight my date had to the lobster made it worth everything! She was in heaven, claws down she loved everything about the meal. Now the few downsides, the broccoli and rice. Uhm well the broccoli was not raw but it also wasn't cooked. So basically awful. Which is sad because my body was craving vegetables after all the carbs and butter sauce. The wild rice was just not good and kind of sharp. The baked potato side was just ok. It's Red Lobster. It's fine. I do like the new Baja Shrimp bowl. It's really fresh and not as heavy as some options.

I placed an order containing the Seaside Shrimp Trio with French Fries & Mashed Potatoes along with the Admiral's Feast with French Fries & Green Beans, the order was delivered by GRUBHUB about 5 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time. I had placed a tray table by the door, so we were able to do a contactless delivery. All the food was still warm which was nice considering how far we live from Red Lobster. Everything was really good, especially the mashed potatoes. The fish & shrimp were seasoned well. My only hang up was the pasta was terrible. It was dry and tasted gummy. I'm usually not one for chain eateries anymore, but there is something satisfying about Red Lobster. It's tucked away right off of S East street between a motel and some apartments, so it doesn't have the best exterior. But boy, the inside is so similar, anywhere you go in the country. I was with a party of ten and we were seated when 50% of the group showed up. We had two awesome waitstaff who serviced each side of the table quickly and accurately. Speciality drinks came out within 5-7 min and entrees arrived about 15 minutes from being placed. I informed the staff of my shrimp allergy and they assured me my dish was prepared in a separate pan (plus, I lived to make this review). My dish was just so-so-- when you order Cajun chicken pasta, you expect a little chili powder, maaaaybe blackened chicken. But no, both were missing and it tasted like a traditional chicken alfredo. I usually get chicken dishes at seafood places, so honestly, it's hit or miss. Other than that snag, I was satisfied with the service. Next time I'm on the southside, I'll pay the tank lobsters a visit. read more
