We have never seen an "empty" Texas Roadhouse until we came here for dinner on a Friday night. I was laughing because the hubz could not believe that we got seated immediately. I put our name on the waitlist; but, saw that the wait time indicated 0 to 10 minutes. Of course he didn't believe me because the last time we waited over two hours at their Union City location. Technically, we waited for an hour and went somewhere else and at 11pm still showed no availability. Their service was great here. My husband raved that his beef tips was one of the best that he has had at Texas Roadhouse. The male server that took over our table the last 30 minutes was very nice. Next time we are in Palm Springs and the Palm Desert, we'll come here again.

Marinated chicken breast with 2 sides. So good!

Wednesday, April 15, 2026: We stopped here for a nice dinner before heading to Marvyn's Magic Theater. It's a very rustic, log cabin vibe as you enter. It's spacious & clean. There wasn't a wait & we were immediately seated in a booth. They have an extensive menu. It's nice to see they have early bird specials for only $14.99. Hubby ordered a steak with 2 sides and I had the marinated chicken breast with 2 sides. We had a very friendly & hard working server, Miguel, who checked on us often. I was able to take a photo of this shy young man & get his permission to post here. The food was so good & filling! We will definitely be back & be sure to ask for Miguel again. The atmosphere was lively & happy. The staff were genuinely hospitable and happy! It was a such fantastic vibe. We were able to speak with the very affable District Manager, Tony, and made sure we gave Miguel props. He told us they were building a Texas Roadhouse in Temecula! Yay! This was an impressive & great dining experience here for a first time visit. Thank you!

So a few years back on grand opening week, I was very excited to finally come here and eat! However... our experience was not the best. The food took forever to come out, they ran out of bone in Ribeye, and some of the steaks that we ordered (medium rare) were still cold in the center. So all types of bad. Which made me very hesitant to ever come back, but that goes without saying, " Why would you want to go opening week, where things like this COULD happen" BUT the second time around, which was today, things definitely took a turn for the best. The rolls are still amazing especially with the cinnamon butter. I ordered the 16oz Sirloin with sweet potato and side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare all throughout with a nice crust. I must say that it was lacking a little salt, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, I could've just added salt myself if I wanted to. I always forget to show a cross section of the steak, but not this time! The plating may seem a little off as the steak is all by itself but it didn't bother me at all. Overall, the first experience with Texas Roadhouse was awful, but the second time more than made up for it and I will be gladly returning here!

Outstanding Service at Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse 42790 Jackson Street, Indio, California 92203 760-262-1002 I walked up right at closing and asked if it was still possible to get some food to go. The whole crew looked like they had just finished a long shift and were ready to head home. Totally understandable. Then the manager--who introduced himself as Frankie--stepped up, asked what I wanted, and made it happen without hesitation. Frankie and his crew went above and beyond. Instead of treating me like an inconvenience at the end of the night, they treated me like a valued customer. That kind of service and professionalism is rare these days. Frankie's leadership showed in how his team handled everything--friendly, respectful, and still committed to great service even at closing time. The food was great as always, but the service is what really stood out. Frankie and his team definitely made my day. Big thanks to the entire crew at: Texas Roadhouse 42790 Jackson Street Indio, California 92203 760-262-1002 Five-star service all the way. Big thanks! -- Jordan

We usually like Texas Roadhouse, but this location is gross! We should have left after being seated at a table that had food smashed all over the seat and wet, dirty plates on the table. I asked for med-well steak and it came out med-rare with overly cooked, soggy rice with a random macaroni noodle. My kid ate most of his slider before realizing that it was red!! So disgusted with this location and the lack of cleanliness! The only thing it has going for it was our server.

After breaking down in the middle of the California desert and getting towed to Indio, I was beaten down and in need of some late night food, luckily Texas Roadhouse was open to fill me up. I've always been quite the big Texas Roadhouse fan thanks to the dinner rolls and fun atmosphere, luckily sitting alone at the bar still got me a basket of rolls to devour so this experience started out with the best of flavour. For dinner I ended up trying the road kill plate which was cut up steak with veggies served with french fries and mashed potatoes and gravy. This was my first time ordering this dish and it is absolutely something I would order again in the future. The steak tasted really good as did the mashed potatoes, gravy, and french fries. Don't get me wrong, I don't think this joint is going toe to toe with a top of the line steakhouse, but sometimes these family steakhouse places are exactly what you need. Overall, Texas Roadhouse did me right and fed me when most of the other restaurants in the area were closed or fast food. The rolls were and always will be the best part of this place, but I had a good meal and the staff was wonderful, so thumbs up to this Indio location.

I got the 12oz NY strip, medium rare. They actually cooked it right. Many times they over or undercook it. But this place got it right. The staff were really patient with us as we were a larger group. It was unfortunate that they had to split up our party to seat us. Definitely got crowded the closer to 6 you got. The main problem with this place is all the birthdays and crazy loud singing. It may be fun for the birthday people but for everyone else it's rather annoying as you have to stop your own conversation until it's over.

This was a gem of a find in an area new to us. Thanks to Yelp we found more than we expected. We started with the blossom onion, oh boy was it yummy. We shared a rib and steak dinner. Veggies, Mac n cheese and a salad. We will definitely be back. We had the sweetest server, Adri, she was so attentive and answered all of our questions. They seat you with warm rolls and honey butter. It was such a nice touch.

14 ounce prime rib and baked potato (very rare). I did order medium rare, but way too undercooked for me.

First time to a Texas Roadhouse and I really wanted it to be 5 stars. Had built it up in my mind as being a great spot. Sadly, I can only give it 3 stars, partly I am sure from what I ordered and partly for the food, which was good, but just good. When you walk in, you really get that roadhouse vibe and looks really cool inside with decor, lights, wood, Texas theme all around. Some nice steaks in a case behind the glass, so far so good. Was seated and my waiter came right away with bread and a cinnamon butter and to take my order, nice guy. I ordered an Iced tea unsweetened, prime rib 14 ounce, medium rare, Baked potato and a salad with blue cheese. More on the food in a minute. Funny thing happened, after I ordered, went to the restroom, took a wrong turn and walked to the front, then they told me the restroom was in the other corner. Came back and everything was cleared from my table, my iced tea was gone, bread and butter gone, silverware and napkin all gone. Apparently, they thought I took off after I ordered, kind of weird, but no big deal. Brought out new everything and GTG. The iced teas was brewed perfectly, bread was great and the cinnamon butter made it taste like I was eating a cinnamon roll, yum! The salad was next, again very good although very small, which was surprising, blue cheese was on point. Those were the highlights. Then came my main course, the prime rib seemed almost uncooked, I did order medium rare, so maybe my fault, but it was too raw for my tastes. Flavor was good though with the raw horseradish, but did have a different flavor than other prime rib I have had, can't put my finger on it, just not as good. The baked potato came with butter and sour cream, no chives, no green onions, which should not be a thing, should always have those, just makes it that much better. I added some purple onions as a substitute. Potato again with the prime rib, was just ok, even with the butter and sour cream and pepper/onions. I hate to leave 3 stars, but have to be honest with my experience and hoped for so much more. Prices were decent for a steak house, but would have paid a little more for a more enjoyable dinner. They do give you free bags of peanuts you can eat or take which is a nice touch. Enjoy!

Customer service could have been better than what was provided. Said at the bar to be served take about 15 minutes to be served with even the question of would you like a cup of water or a drink. It was OK because my plate was served to me with the gravy, dripping off down the side. And the comment was made to customer service. There were smart remarks received, saying that they do not have a chef. But then when it was brought up to the manager, the manager did state that he's been trying to talk to them about that. As much as we like Texas roadhouse not sure if I'll be back to this one again.

As we walked in, luckily no one was waiting. We were seated quickly. I had a great experience. First time being in a Texas Roadhouse. Free peanuts in shell provided at every table. I can't remember our waitress name but she was amazing. She was attentive, clarified how we wanted the meat to be cooked, and made sure we were always taken care of. The steaks were cooked perfectly, just as ordered. We had freshly baked rolls with a honey cinnamon butter. The rewards for this place is a bit confusing in getting points added to your account. Plenty of parking available even though there is a gym nearby. Huge parking lot. I really like the windows for pickup only. Reminds me of somewhat a drive thru but not a drive thru. I will definitely be returning.

The wait staff was attentive and friendly. They did everything needed for a pleasant lunch. Everyone was smiling. That doesn't happen everywhere.

Came here with the fam we're not regulars at Texas roadhouse but we like to occasionally mix things up and this is one of my favorite places to mix things up at it was packed as always the ambience is typical country icehouse vibe. The food was excellent especially the rolls. The service was decent. Nothing to complain about overall we enjoyed the experience and the food. I'm certain we'll be back.

So happy to stumble upon this lovely lively couple serving up their incredible BBQ food at the Palm Springs Art Museum commemorating & celebrating Juneteenth. Uncle D & Auntie V were so sweet & kind, they take their craft very seriously, and appreciate their customers. I had one of the BEST BBQ Brisket Sandwich's ever. And I've eaten & sampled my fair share. When I expressed I'm from LA and would drive all the way to Compton for the OG Bludso's BBQ & Brisket and Ribs with my BF, Auntie V's face lit up and says "I know it very well...and Darly is from Compton." When I told Uncle D, he expressed he knows Kevin Bludso personally...so I already knew I was in for a major brisket treat. After devouring my Sando in record time -- though I slowed down towards the end -- because I did not want it to end. I told my wife "I could eat 2 more of these." And speaking of which -- wifey's not too keen on BBQ like her hubby but can appreciate a great piece of quality meat. She took one bite (right smack in the middle -- which I suggested because it's the best bite :) and her response? "Oh my god...I could eat one of these." I've never heard her say that about BBQ Brisket. What makes Uncle D's Brisket so special? It's smoked & cooked overnight in a smoke-pit ~~ seasoned to perfection ~~ not fatty nor salty one bit...and don't get me started on the BBQ sauce that's not too thick & not too thin ~~ not too sweet & not too tangy ~~ it's simply perfection. And the bun too. This sandwich is so good you don't even need TEETH to enjoy because the mEAT is so soft & tender ~~ as perfect brisket should be. Following brisket consumption I went back to share my thoughts with D & V and when I said "not only is this one of the best I've ever had, it's better than Bludso's." D Looked me right in the eyes and softly said "really...seriously?" "Yes indeed" I said and he thanked me again. Then I told him "this section should be labeled: "The Art of Brisket" and D smiled at me so wide I can still see his happy face. Then we fist-bumped because he was wearing gloves but that Sando was so frickin' great I wanted to hug that cool bearded BBQ Master. Wifey had some of their Mac & Cheese and thought the noodles were cooked perfectly, it wasn't too cheesy & oily...and loved that it wasn't too salty. I took a bite and 2nd her notion. Checkout their website to find out where they'll be throughout the Coachella Valley. And make sure to confirm the location because their days & hours change during Summertime. Can't wait to find this hidden gem again...and next time I'm going to try their pulled pork and spare ribs too. And another Brisket sando or two :) {{{Big High Fives}}} {{{Fist-Bump & Hugs}}} Grandslam Huge Fan

Hands down the BEST cheesesteaks in the valley! And don't get me started on the fries! (As a fry…read moreenthusiast they are my all time fav) I usually call ahead and pick up to go and they are super quick and great! I've dined in a handful of times as well but seating can be a hit or miss since they're fairly popular. 100/10

What a unique restaurant! You can order American food like cheesesteaks, burgers...then order some…read moreFilipino food. Perfect for a couple like my husband & I, where he always prefers American food but I always want rice. Lots of parking. Not the prettiest inside, but everything was clean & the staff were very friendly. Although the boy at the register kept getting our order wrong. My hubby asked for the large 16" Philly, and even clarified twice, but was charged & given the small 8" one instead. He was also bummed that his Philly didn't come with fries, we thought it came with it since it wasn't clarified on the menu nor did the boy taking our order asked if we wanted fries with it. Nevertheless, my husband loved his Philly cheesesteak. Also, none of us asked for lumpia, but it was added to our order. It was a nice mistake tho because the pork lumpia was crispy & delicious. I also ordered both the lechon kawali & the tapsilog. The tapas in the tapsilog was delicious & had the perfect flavor. The lechon kawali could have been a little crisper, but my husband enjoyed that as well. We would definitely come back next time we're in town & craving Filipino & cheesesteaks.
