My ribeye was great but had a good chunk of fat that needed to be rendered off but having it with horseradish sauce and A1 is the best. I enjoyed the peanuts in bags as a nice touch rather than the old ways of peanuts being thrown all over the floor. However, the restrooms could be cleaner, and during busy times, the service may become less attentive. We had a minor hiccup with our bill, charging us for games and we never once touched the screen. I genuinely believe that people who are complaining in their reviews for this Texas Roadhouse location don't understand that a new restaurant in the area is going to be popular. If you want to go to a restaurant that isn't as busy, then try something that's been around for a while until the hype has died down. With that being said, our recent visit to this location was amazing and there was absolutely no wait! We came in on Saturday afternoon and the staff was able to seat us immediately -- with fresh/warm rolls ready as soon as we were in our chairs. The inside of the restaurant was clean, the servers were friendly, and the food came to our table within a reasonable amount of time for freshly made food. The food was delicious and exactly what is to be expected from a chain restaurant! I wanted to include some insights regarding some of the complainers on this app. One person complained about the music being too loud -- I completely disagree. The music was at an appropriate volume level for a themed restaurant. Again, if you're looking for a place without a fun ambiance, may I suggest your own kitchen? I also saw someone suggest that the staff was cleaning the floors and tables with the same gloves they use to cook which is absolutely absurd. Our server was exactly that -- a server. (A reminder that if you see someone cleaning up a table you would call them a busboy/girl/person.) She never touched the dirty floor before serving our food. Instead, she brought us refills without having to ask, checked in on us regularly, and even made suggestions for yummy things on the menu. (We think her name was Evelyn -- thanks again for amazing service!) Again, be mindful that this is still a new, popular, family-friendly place to there may be a wait time. While we didn't experience that, we were able to easily locate their waitlist feature on the website. This was my first time at Texas Roadhouse and honestly, it'll probably be my last. Our server John gave us some of the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. From the start, things went downhill. My dad asked for a Diet Coke three different times and never got it. Sides that were supposed to come with our entrees were missing. The worst part was the way the rib situation was handled. John took our order, came back five minutes later, and told us they were out of ribs. Fine, we ordered something else. But then I watched the booth behind us -- who sat down after us -- go through the exact same thing. He took their rib order too, only to come back 5-10 minutes later and tell them they were out. Why not be upfront with people right away instead of wasting everyone's time? I even brought it up with the manager and was offered a $20 entrée "for next time." That doesn't fix the fact that the service was careless, unprofessional, and honestly ruined the night. By the end, I didn't even want to see John's face come back to the table. I had heard good things about Texas Roadhouse, but this experience was enough for me. If management doesn't take a hard look at the way their staff treats customers, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more
