Our server was EXCELLANT! I'm so sorry I did not get her name. From the minute we walked in it was great. Our hostess was friendly and personable and we were seated right away I had the shrimp with a baked potato and French onion soup - EXCELLANT. Hubby had the chicken on the barbie and it was good. He had a salad and baked potato. My sister in law had the same thing. My brothers had the 8 ounce sirloins with baked potatoes. One had a salad and one has the baked potato soup. Both totally enjoyed there's. The meals were fresh and hot when brought to the table. Even the guy that brought food out was wonderful. He even wished us all a Happy Easter. Service was mid at best. The rib eye was overcooked, tough, and lacked marbling. The couple next to us waited over an hour for their entrees. Those were cold, even though they were told they were freshly made. I gave a star for being clean and not run down, otherwise it was a one star experience. read more

We usually go to the one in Leesburg, but decided to try the new one in Wildwood. When she gets the urge for a filet, we go to Outback. It is less expensive than many places and reliably good, as it was on this date. The problem was the service at the begining and the end, and with the same person, a dude with glasses and curly hair. He took an extraordinarily long time for him to get to us after we were seated, to the point that I would have left were this not a special occassion and I did not want to drive all the way to the Leesburg location. After the meal was long over he disappeared again, nowhere to be seen, so that finally we asked a passing busboy for a to go box, and paid the bill via the kiosk on the table. The food came out hot because he had nothing to do with it, it was delivered by pretty young ladies who got it right out of the kitchen. read more

This Outback recently opened and is consistently packed. The evening I went, we did the call ahead seating (highly recommended) and we sat within about 15 minutes of arriving. Every table was taken and people waiting outside, so do the call ahead. We went on a week night around 5:30. Also, get the Outback App on your phone. You get a free bloomin onion when you sign up. The servers were fantastic and our food came out really fast and accurate. Which was surprising, given how crowded it was. I highly recommend the 3 course Meal deal. It's basically a salad/soup, a steak and a side, plus dessert for $15 or more (depending on your selections). Really a very good deal. It's not on the menu, so you have to ask for the 3 course meal deal menu and they'll bring it out to you. Our steaks were cooked properly and everything was delicious. We were all too full for our dessert, so we got those in to go boxes. Also, you have to pay on the Ipad type device at the table, but the server will step you through that and make sure everything is accurate before processing your payment. It's Olive Garden. Which means frozen, pre-packaged food reheated to order. French onion soup was bitter and salty. Alice Springs chicken quesadilla is pre made and ingredients can't be changed. Chicken is lacking inside. The bread s good, even though it is frozen loaves baked in the restaurant. Service here was decent, the waitress tries but she xant fix bad food. read more

This new Outback is doing a good job. That's not what I've said in prior reviews. The decor, service and food are pretty darn good. Our steaks were cooked just right. The salads are tasty. Our server was fantastic. I've had really bad experiences at Outback, but it appears that they cleaned up their act. read more

The location just opened March 11. I came in and was greeted with a smile and seated immediately. My waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered up the 13 ounce ribeye with baked potato, salad, and iced tea. I was provided with bread and butter immediately and my iced tea shortly after . The iced tea was fresh and the bread was warm with whipped butter... Delicious! I was provided with my salad with blue cheese promptly. Crunchy, lettuce, tomato, cheese, cucumber, croutons, and yummy blue cheese dressing. About the time I was finished with my salad my steak and baked potato arrived. The steak was cooked, perfectly medium well like I like it the baked potato was quite large and covered with butter, sour cream, and cheese. All in all my meal was fantastic but I was provided with a check prior to finishing my meal and was not asked if I would like dessert or anything else. Therefore, the reason for the four stars. The location is a beautiful open floor plan. It's not huge, but the open floorplan makes it seem larger. Very nice. read more

My rating is for the carryout. My third order since they opened that isn't accurate. I should know better to check the bag before I go. It's so frustrating, I don't have crazy special orders this is all very basic. I complete the survey about my experience each time yet never hear from management. Decided I shoot the moon and buy their $33 best steak. Medium rare. On the menu looks to be super thick and delicious. Baked potato and vegetables. I real messed up because I should have sent it back. What I got was a very small , tough piece of burn piece of something about an inch thick. My fault!!Send it back. Worst steak ever! read more

Me and my family came to Outback Steakhouse at 9:15pm and we were turned away because Collen (Owner) stated her staff is ready to go home. When asked why she (Collen) couldn't serve us she simply told us we should've setup an appointment earlie @ 9:00 pm. She also was argumentative towards us versus staying professional.When told that we called at 9:00pm and that thr phone just rung she stated shes short staffed and they didnt receive a call. This happened on a night a family member graduated. This spoiled the night for us. When we asked to speak with a manager she arrogantly told us shes the owner and thats that. She walked off in a manner that isnt conducive to an OWNER, MANAGER or a Staff Member. This is the first Outback Establishment that Ive received such a horrible experience. This doesnt reflect the Darden brand of restaurants in a good manner. If this is how the Darden brand is im suggesting no one goes to any of there restaurant brands (Olive Garden, Long Horn, Cheddar etc.) Left disappointed with no resolution. Coleen has terrible people skills. She was rude and belittling to us when we tried to come in for dinner at 9:15pm. She told me she owns the restaurant. She told us it was our fault for not calling early this morning for a reservation. I called ahead at 9pm and was told they had 3 servers but to come on in and they would serve us. Excellent place. We were here for Veterans Day. They seeve a free meal to vets. Happy hour is 2-4-1 I had the loaded potato soup and Mediterranean salad sub feta for Bleu cheese and added blackened chicken. It's served with a raspberry vinaigrette which looked fresh made. Grace was our server and hospitality was definitely on the menu.my husband ordered the petite filet with baked sweet potato and broccoli. He loved it. Steak was perfectly medium as ordered. I'm really disappointed with my recent order from Outback Steakhouse. I ordered a steak cooked to my requested temperature, but it arrived severely overcooked, dry, and tough to eat. We were greeted immediately when we walked in by a pleasant hostess, and we were seated promptly. Our server, Boris, was excellent and knowledgeable. Right out with the blooming fried shrimp appetizer and it was just delicious and it certainly was plenty for us to share. My husband had the prime rib and it was absolutely delicious and I had the pork chops. I got the sauce on the side because I wasn't sure what it would taste like but I have to say my chops were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection Personally, I'm glad I didn't have the sauce on the pork chops because I really enjoyed the taste of the chops as they were grilled and seasoned. I ordered them well done and it was just perfect. I will start by saying the food was good, when we got it. We didn't get our food for an hour after we ordered, 3 other tables were there after us and they were served, eating and one was checking out. When I asked our Server she really didn't have a reason, there must be something back there. What they had to go catch our lobster? We received our food and no salad or soup, we had to ask for them. There was also a table game charge on our bill, we asked the server about it and she took it off, it should not have been there to begin with, makes me think they charge it automatically in case you play a game, so look at your bill thoroughly. Let me start with this! we have gone to Outback many times and this is not like me to complain,but. 1 the server was excelent. She went out of her way to be helpful!that being said. The food was so bad! 1 the blooming onion was over cooked and so greasy! The oil had not been changed in a while! 2 the salad was brown and soggy! 3 the French onion soup was way too salty! 4 the coconut shrimp was no palatable! Same oil as the blooming onion 5 my wife's steak" ordered medium was so raw it tried to crawl off her plate 6=the cheeze cake was frozen hard! The waitress was embarrassed and apologized! The manager was responsible and tried to help! But we noticed that many other diners were having similar problems and a lot of plates were going away from tables half full! We love the chopped salad from Outback but the second time we went there it was soggy and the old waitress there didn't check back to see how it was tasting. We went back again because we wanted to try the wedge salad and it was disappointing. There was only 2 little slices of a cherry tomato on it and a small sprinkling of tiny powdery bacon "bits". The service, the spacious dining area, and food were top notch; I especially loved the abundance of booths. I had the Blooming Onion for my app; and entree was steak , macaroni, and crispy brussel sprouts (both premium sides with a slight up charge but worth it). Husband had a steak and rib combo, he was happy to find they had Heinz57 which most places in this area don't offer. If u come before 4pm there are really good lunch discounts. Their new building is beautiful and full of windows with a view of the golf course across the street. The entrées were good, however, the soup was cold, and the mushroom appetizer had three pieces of breaded shrimp included in it!
