I made a trip to the Texas Roadhouse for one purpose - to try the blooming onion. I wasn't expecting anything amazing from a chain but it didn't disappoint. I give it 5 stars for what it is - a large chain that's actually worth going to. The blooming onion was very tasty; crispy batter, and it came with a good sauce. It's a good size for four people. Their rolls with cinnamon butter are delicious. I am sure I could eat ten of them easily. For entrees, they have a $12.99 selection on Mondays-Thursdays which we all ordered from. The 6 oz steaks look small but they ended up being a perfect size to fill you, given that they come with two sides. It was a sirloin cooked to perfection and actually a sort of melt in your mouth-quality steak. I recommend the steak fries because they're seasoned well and have the perfect French fry texture in my opinion. Overall a successful trip and I would definitely go back from time to time. Didn't make a big deal of it, remained quiet and respectful, nature happens, had a store going up. Every time we order To go, something is missing from the order. Every time. Are there no quality checks inside the restaurant before the food goes out? Then you call and tell them and it still consistently happens, missing side of bacon, missing side of cream gravy, missing drinks, missing bbq sauce and we order religiously every Friday at the same time to beat the rush. This Texas Roadhouse might be the best one in the area. Staff are always friendly. My friend and I came here for her birthday on a Saturday and our server was great; her name is Amy. Checked on us regularly and made us feel welcome. The food was also excellent (we're addicted to the rolls). We had fried pickles for an app which were good. Excellent customer service and the best at taking care of kids with cancer!!!! The place is very country like and it's fun. Seems like whenever there is a certain song, they start doing line dancing. The food is very salty! But I think you could actually have a request to not have salt on it. The veggies aren't overcooked either. Mostly a good experience. Not many gluten free appetizers. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out raw. This shouldn't be at a steakhouse! Order dressing on the side, or your lettuce will be swimming in dressing. Steak was bland needed some spices. Would have liked dessert and coffee but it was not offered. I felt like a regular the first time I visited the Leominster location. I have been a customer for approximately one (1) year and have been numerous times. Absolutely consistent on all levels. Have only been here a few times, usually with family for birthdays or other celebrations, and every time has been the same. The restaurant is so loud you can't hear yourself think, nevermind people sitting next to you. It's dark, dingy, and filthy. Peanut shells, dropped food, and fries are everywhere and never get cleaned, tables always feel greasy, and it smells like the carpets and chairs have never been washed. Got a burger and fries with a soda- The burger was supposed to be medium rare, but instead was burnt on the outside, raw inside, and swimming in a pool of its own grease with a rock hard stale bun. It seems like a lot of chain restaurants have been taking a nosedive lately but not Texas Roadhouse. This was actually one of the better locations that I've been to. The rolls and butter were just as delicious as I remember them. Our waitress was great considering how busy it was and she brought us extra rolls when we asked for them. We ordered a few appetizers and we all got different entrees. We all agreed that everything came out great. My families burgers and steaks were cooked perfectly, my smothered chicken was good, nice crisp on the cactus blossom and most importantly; clean frying oil! All of our sides were good too. A couple of years ago while traveling in Texas I googled the top steakhouses in the country. This place was in the top five at the time. But I noticed it was a chain and I was more interested in something authentic. But still I was impressed at a chain being in the top five. Fast forward to 2022, I'm in the middle of Massachusetts, and my uncle made the suggestion for a good steak to go here and I remembered that I saw it online that time. So I walked inside On a Wednesday night, and it was still very busy. I sat at the bar. The atmosphere was awesome, kind of like reminded me of Chili's or any other neighborhood bar also is a chain. My bartender was Sabrina Who was definitely a great server! I see some of the other reviews for this particular location and maybe because I was at the bar I got great service. But she was second to none! Izzy was one of the managers that stopped by to say hi and make sure everything was good after I've gotten my food. Met some great people there at the bar. One was a traveling construction guy from Canada, the other two were in telecommunications and his two ladies were just having a ball with each other and conversation. It really was just a great atmosphere! And I thank Sabrina and Izzy for that! I ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare. It was outstanding! Of course next to the bone was a little bit more rare than medium rare but that's always happening. The rest of the steak was perfect! The char on the outside was amazing and Crisp! While the meat in the fat were nearly melting in your mouth. I ordered the shrimp as an appetizer. If I have any complaint at all it's going to be the shrimp and their quality. The seasoning and the flavor we're really yummy. But the shrimp were kind of small and not a great quality. They were small and just kind of reminded you of the kind you would find on here buffet or something. Not the larger and crunchy variety. Shrimp done right it is crunchy when you bite into it, even boiled. I also ordered the fried pickles. Now I'm kind of a pickle connoisseur when it comes to the fried variety. I've had many different restaurants including Hooters of course, as well as others. Texas roadhouse has the perfect blend of thinner pickles so they become a little bit more crunchy and crispy with the batter. Speaking of the batter that's what really made the fried pickles. One thing to have but it is still crunchy on the pickles which makes good fried pickles but this one actually had some great flavor! Went to Leominster Texas roadhouse restaurant, gave them our name, spelled it out and it looked like she was putting our name in the computer, 15 minutes later after people were seated that came in after us...ok I thought maybe they were on the waiting list. One of the girls came and said "party of two", there were 3 couples sitting in the "coral", I asked her what's the name, she said again "party of two" my husband said louder what's the name? She didn't know, but we got up anyway. She started to seat us and asked us if we wanted to pick out a steak in the display, there were 7 trays, 4 were empty, 1 had 2 pieces of steak, and the other 2 had 6 pieces each that look like they have been there most of the day, we asked if this was it and she didn't know. We left and that will be the first and last time we go to that restaurant. We will try the New Hampshire Texas Roadhouse Steakhouse to see if it's any better, if not that is one restaurant we will never frequent again. read more

A so-so steak salad. Steak was overcooked. Tasted good, but overcooked. I expected a bit more from the salad. Just diced tomatoes and salad mix. The takeout dinner came with rolls and maple butter. They are very good. Not healthy, but taste amazing. And they are included. One weird thing: I walked in the front door to pick up my takeout order. The floors were very sticky and oily looking. My shoes were sticking to the floor. They were dark where everyone walks (look by the wall and you'll see lighter shading. They haven't been cleaned for awhile.) Also, you don't pick up your takeout in the restaurant. You must drive around back and park in the designated parking spot. They bring your food to your parking spot. Last, there is outdoor seating in the parking lot. Picnic tables. Seems like they did a great job accommodating their customers outside. read more

Always want to like this place but every time there's something that doesn't go well, esp when we order takeout. It's a 20 min drive to get there. Last night, on one order, they gave us 2 broccolis instead of a broccoli and a potato. We're not driving back 40mins RT to get a baked potato but wth? Get it right. This is not the first time it's happened, unfortunately. Husband's steak was super fatty but broccoli was good. Lastly in service--it was late--by a lot. My husband and I have been eating here for years and love this location and have had only good experiences. We come here regularly maybe once every week or so. Since covid pandemic began in 2020 I have been ordering curbside and everything has been as it should be. I took my mother for dinner tonight to Texas roadhouse in Leominster. It's been a couple years since I've been here, and all I can say is I'm grateful that I chose to take her here tonight. The restaurant was very busy and we did have a short wait but that is to be expected on a Saturday night. All I can say is that the food was phenomenal and the service was even better. It's one of the few places that still serves chili in the area and it was delicious. My mom got the cactus blossom and loved it. She had steak tips and said they were fantastic. I had barbecue chicken and it was also delicious. I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she provided the best service I have had from a restaurant to date. She was kind, attentive, patient with my mom whose heard of hearing and very quick to take our order/check in regularly even though the restaurant was full. First time I have gone to this location, but it won't be that last! Great service and food! There were so many people at the restaurant when we arrived that I was concerned how it would go. Chloe took great care in making sure we got everything we needed and was so friendly and engaging. You would have thought that we were the only ones there. My Dallas filet was wonderful, my son's country fried chicken steak was delicious and his girlfriend's grilled BBQ chicken was excellent Ryan, the manager, also stopped by to be sure we were having a good time and that we were being served well. Food was great! The music was so entertaining that at one point I thought we could have jumped up and danced. Attempted to take the family after a memorial service. 7 adults and a toddler. They don't accept reservations. 3:20 in the afternoon on Sunday the 22nd of May, temp outside was 94°. Parking lot was half full, and the place was not busy. We were told it would be 20-30 mins and we would have to wait outside ( 2 women were 60&70yrs old). After 45mins. We were told it was just a few more minutes....after waiting another 15 mins, and a party of 6 walking in and being seated, the response I got was, and I quote, "I don't know what to tell ya. If you want to split up" .... and I left. Clearly this establishment can't handle, or had NO intention of seating our group. Not to worry tho...Longhorns was just down the road and had no issues seating our group. Longhorns for the win!!! And Longhorns staff is....nice! read more
